been watching this funny astrologer tear apart celebrity charts on youtube the past week or so and now i'm thinking about a modern zutara au where katara does this (canonically she's into fortunetelling and i could actually see her being really good at it) and she does zuko's chart (idk how he's famous in this maybe he's still just a prince but in a modern au) and he watches it and it basically makes him Think About His Life and then they meet somehow and fall in love idk this just sounds fun to me

since there's apparently no canon birthday for apollo, i say we as a community have to decide together.

10 Followers Event!

It had been a very long, and very tiring week for Astra. Running around the Lufou to do errands with Yanqing without too much rest was more than taxing, as well are participating in the Wardance event the week prior. Their power over ice wasn't fully controllable yet, and it had left a toll on them.

So, they decided to try and visit Bailu in the Alchemy Commission, to help get them back on their feet.

But, of course, nothing was ever that simple.

They sat inside the Commision, chatting with Bailu to discuss how they'd been feeling, and how she could help.

Unfortunate timing, as a young man from the Commission was walking past, and tripped, spilling a strange, bright orange liquid onto Astra.

They panicked, trying to wipe it away, however it had already seeped into their skin within seconds.

Their head pounded as Bailu and the young man rushed around, trying to clean them up, covering their face with a groan.

The pain only grew stronger, until they felt something in the back of their mind snap.

They looked up at Bailu, and she gasped. Gone was the navy blue of their eyes, replaced with a bright orange color. They giggled, sitting up and stretching.

"Man! Sticky, huh?" They giggled again, bringing up a hand—covered in the strange liquid—to lick the potion off their fingers, face scrunching as they tasted it. "Eww, bitter. Kinda gross."

Bailu's eyes widened, and she turned to the young man that had accidentally spilled the potion, "What..what was in that potion you spilled?"

The young man swallowed thickly, "I-I'm not sure...but it's supposed to reverse the base effects of poisons...like turning a poison into the antidote."

"Oh, dear..." Bailu mumbled. "This...isn't good."

Astra's been affected by a little swap potion! This effect will last from October 20th to November 3rd! Feel free to send asks about it! Don't forget to specify if your ask is related to the event!

A question on outer planet synastry:

how does outer planet synastry even work without supporting aspects? For example, I always see people describe pluto aspects as being ultra intense but logically speaking the inner planet person probably has that aspect with like everyone in their age group and they probably have that aspect in their own natal chart.

So wouldn't those aspects lean toward shaping the planet persons general experience of the world rather than creating an intense one on one connection between them and someone else?

I just don't see it doing anything without there being other stuff playing into it, like natal chart tendencies to lean into plutonian stuff, or some strong configuration being concocted in the composite chart. The only time I ever noticed a Moon square Pluto aspect in synastry and felt it intensely is when it factored into Moon exactly aspecting Pluto in composite because we both had a Moon-Pluto aspect and were feeding into each other.

P.S: I could kind of see it working if the planet doesn't have the aspect natally, I guess? But it's still such a wide net. But it makes more sense to me that it would be intense if that were the case.
