Honestly, once he’d gotten over the initial strangeness of the situation, Jake found himself oddly comfortable talking to Lobo. Physical description: Nelene has thick, long blonde hair that she rarely lets down in front of others. Blue eyes. Fair complexion. Personality: Nelene can come off cold until one gets to know her. She is much warmer with those that she trusts and is close to. It takes a lot of time and patience to get past the walls that she has built around herself. However, she enjoys meeting new people and learning about them. Her biggest soft spot is animals, and she’s often known to go deeper into the forest to observe them. Nelene takes the time to go watch the sunset or rise. Another moment of peace before she needs to start her duties.

Upon becoming a chieftain, she found she enjoys helping others and taking care of them. It’s not uncommon to see her helping young children and teaching them some skills. Making sure that they are all prepared and ready for anything that could come their way. She makes sure that the boys and girls both can learn the same skills. It’s all useful in her eyes. A lot of the ones who followed her found her ways odd and most left. Nelene would shrug her shoulders and turn her attention back to the ones who did stay. Those who did trust her ways.

Bio: Nelene was born in the Whitetree village of the Haunted Forest. Her mother, Seena, had been the spearwife before meeting her father, Iyan. Meeting when they were young and climbing the wall to raid homes in the south. When Seena had fought out she was pregnant with Nelene, she had reluctantly stopped joining Iyan on raids and waited for his return. Growing up in the village along with the other children, Nelene soon shaped her own path, learning the ways and following by example. She kept what she earned and could defend. Most of the boys underestimated her, but she would often use that to her advantage. Her mother had taught her since the time she could walk.

During her teenage years, Nelene joined the others in raids in the South. It was her fifth raid. She had found her first long sword. Pride had swelled in her chest when she returned home. The next raids, she focused on finding clothes she could mend for herself and her parents. Occasionally taking a knife or dagger if she came across them. Her shield and spear were found when she had lost count of how many raids she had been on. The adrenaline that came with the raids became something that she craved and enjoyed, but more of than not, she would lead the ones who seemed a little unsure.

Unlike the other Free Folks, she didn’t march with Mance Rayder’s army. Along with her family, she moved out of the village and traveled somewhere else. They wanted no part with Mance. Or any of the Southerners who were kneelers. However, they couldn’t deny the growing threat of wraiths and the Night King.

Like many other Free Folk, she had joined them at Winterfell to fight against them. Tormund had convinced her and the others of her clan to follow him. It wasn’t just the south that would be in danger of the Night Kings and his minions. It had been an entirely new world for her and she had felt oddly out of place. Nelene had made sure that she never drew attention to herself. Despite everyone else being entranced by the dragons, she had found herself often in the stables, petting the horses. Wondering if she survived the battle and if she could take one back to the True North with her.

It wasn’t until after the Battle of Winterfell, Nelene went home. The South was much too strange for her and she didn’t wish to stay any longer. Upon her return, she had gained her own little following from friends that she knew and her parents. Most would think it was odd for a woman to be a chieftain, but she simply figured that they could leave whenever they wanted. She merely would take care of her clan to the best of her ability.

Serena siempre ha admirado la personalidad humorista de Larry, siendo éste una de sus personas favoritas en general. Cada vez que necesitaba ayuda en algo éste le brindaba la mano si sabía algo, cosa que Serena aprecia de corazón. Los dos nunca fueron demasiado cercanos, pero aún así se tienen aprecio entre sí y se ayudan en problemas con el mejor amigo del otro (Larry ayudaba cuando Serena tenía un problema con Sal y Serena ayudaba cuando Larry tenía un problema con Nina).

Todd y Serena sostienen una relación de amistad bastante casual, pero aún así, tienen algunas extrañezas. Ella pensaba que era por que en el fondo Travis tenía un límite, y se sentía demasiado mal como para burlarse de una chica ciega. A pesar de ésto, y de todos los insultos y chistes contra Sal, Serena nunca le tuvo odio a rencor a Travis, ya que durante una conversación se enteró de la dinámica de maltrato que éste sostenía con su padre. Ésto no sólo conmovió a Serena, si no que también la llevó a tenerle empatía a Travis, intentando acercarse a él en varias ocasiones que nunca dieron buenos resultados.

Después de la conversación que tuvo Sal con Travis, Serena pudo acercarse más a él y, eventualmente, se hacen algo cercanos hasta el día en el que deciden huir de sus casas con ayuda de Nina. Al estar viviendo todos juntos Travis eventualmente se va ablandando y llega a tener una buena amistad con toda la banda en general. Serena se muestra muy cariñosa y amable con él, además de apoyarlo en cualquier cosa como es debido. Los dos llegan a sostener una amistad bastante agradable y, sobre todo, de ayuda mutua.

Al conocerlo, Serena sintió una gran atracción hacia Sal, en el sentido en el que le parecía una persona bastante interesante y peculiar. Para Serena era la primera vez que conocía a alguna persona tan única, por lo que empezó a esfozarse para acercárse a él y conocerlo mejor. A medida que fueron relacionándose más, y saliendo más a menudo, Serena rápidamente empezó a enamorarse de él, sobre todo gracias a su personalidad tan cercana y empática.
