a lot doesn’t happen within the borders that lumina owned, but he liked it this way. after nearly three centuries of travels and working himself to the bone for redemption, coming home to his lover and a warm bed is all he could ask for.

when the arms were wrapped around, tight around his waist, he naturally returns the gesture. a content expression is on his face, a rare sight for those who knew him as the knight-commander, a hard-boiled man who conquered the worst storms, the coldest nights, and the warmest days.

“ I’M HOME, ” he says sleepily, not long before slumber would catch upon him, the angels within him giving him the desired rest. they too were looking for dreams about heaven.

the   night   blanketed   the   sky   ,   welcoming   a   time   of   rest   and   spending   time   with   their   beloved   ones   .   with   having   had   visitors   not   too   long   ago   ,   fatigue   was   obviously   on   the   couple’s   feature   .

gray   ,   having   more   stamina   thanks   to   his   life   as   a   mage   ,   was   the   one   who   carried   them   both   to   their   bedroom   once   she   had   settled   her   head   in   between   his   shoulders   and   neck   ,   a   comforting   feeling   for   he   who   grew   up   around   cold   .

the   ice-make   mage   gently   put   a   kiss   on   the   crow   of   her   head   once   they   laid   on   the   bed   ,   only   the   moon   outside   having   seen   the   sight   of   the   loving   emotions   that   gray   bore   in   his   eyes   .
