Random List of Headcanons

neo’s ridiculously quiet, something ingrained into her with her upbringing and her damaged vocal cords

she’s a notorious pickpocket, her list of stuff nicked from people include; roman’s lighter + his hat + some of his cigars, some of mercury’s repair kit, emerald’s bracelets, and various knick knacks from beacon

the things she knows how to cook: rice, mac & cheese from a box, and toast. the last time someone tried to let her cook, the smell lingered in the kitchen for days

she occasionally uses a tts app on her scroll to communicate, but still prefers sign language

before neo had decent control over her semblance, it would occasionally cause some... less than ideal looks on her face. examples being eyes where eyes should not be, and in general body horror. 

her favorite genre of music is r&b, and occasionally that lo-fi hip hop stuff.

just remember kids, during volume 2 and before the finale of volume 3, neo was doing better than she had been doing in a long while. she finally had someone who actually cared about her, she had a roof over her head and food to eat, she was pretty content in that life.

then roman dies, and she’s thrown back into uncertainty. its a marvel that she didn’t just continue fighting against cinder until cinder was forced to kill her.

when neo was still with roman, the two would attempt to coordinate their outfits somewhat, with neos outfit being a more subdued, classier version of romans. however, once roman died, neo was sorta left behind in everything, including her fashion sense. as a result, she's kinda winging it.

little bits and pieces of romans outfit (the eyeshadow + scarf) serve to remind her of who she's seeking revenge for, and she tends to mimic other peoples outfits as well. in my main verse, she might integrate pieces of RWBYJNRs outfits into hers, i.e. a small piece of shoulder armor similar to jaunes, or perhap tying her hair up to mimic weiss'. it depends on who she becomes closest to

    Neo's Signing

neo has been signing since she was picked up by roman, mostly as a hobby. however, because of the damage to her throat during a heist gone bad, the signing became a necessity for her to communicate. signing is her primary method of communication, with writing her secondary, and miming out whatever she wants a distant tertiary choice.

when it comes to rping, signing will normally be represented by 'italics and apostrophes' so i dont have to do shit like 'neo signed' or 'her hands wrote out' n shit like that. writing stuff, however, will be straight italics but it'll be in a separate line     like this
