Noah came back to the table with two drinks in his hands, one for him and one for Yasmine. Taking a seat next to her, he placed her glass in front of her smiling at her as he clinked his own against hers. "A drink for the pretty lady," he added before he took a sip from his whiskey, "having fun?"

he decided he was going to focus on everything that makes him happy until he is happy. fake it till you make it his strategy to overcome the past months. today one of those things was photography, focusing on taking the perfect shot distracted him plenty and he added a second distraction by inviting anya. "i do like taking photos of people, but there's also something about catching the perfect scenery," he spoke as they walked, his finger tapping lightly against his camera. "you doing okay since ... the one who shall not be named?"

He's been listening to him yap all night at the bar. People were out here supposed to be let loose, forget about all the fuckery that happened, but Dom's non-stop talking was seriously ruining the mood. "What the fuck's your problem anyway? Do you know how to shut up for ten minutes?"

"Would you look at that, they finally let you out!" Though if he had to be serious, he was happy to see Azra out and about. "I'd offer to buy you a drink, but it's an open bar and that won't be a good look on me."

life was slowing down, a week after they finally knew who was responsible gave noah that tiny amount of closure he needed to feel somewhat better. but he was still so out of it, so many people gone and it was like he was coming out of a fever dream, but all of it was reality. he won't wake up and see those people again.

he sees gabe sitting on the curb, recognizing them before he could really see their face. "hey, neighborino—" his words die out at the sight of gabe once he's close enough. "it's not a pretty picture let me tell you that." he grimaces as he crouches down inspecting the damage. "i'm late for deadlights one night and you end up in a fight. what the hell, gabe?"

gabe's sitting on the curb outside deadlights -- not because they want to, but because that's where they've been resigned to; their lip's bleeding, and their knuckles ache bad - they can't tell if they like the feeling or not, but it's something. something other than the pit at the bottom of their stomach and its twists and its aches and its ever-looming, growing nausea. gabe feels sick. maybe that's why they'd started the fight inside - why they were now on the timeout curb; should just be lucky their job's not on the line - not like gabe has a boss to fire them, anymore, anyways. somehow, they really don't feel that lucky at all. "what?" it's almost spat out - trembling, adrenaline-shot hand reaching to wipe at the blood collecting against their mouth - flinches at their now-tender piercing; their eyes flickering up towards the approaching shadow, "i don't look that bad, do i? s'just a scratch. barely hurts. you should see the other guy, really."

"Hey Jaz," Noah greets him with a pat on the back, raising his glass toward him before taking a sip. "Did the little monster tag along?"

"Hey, loser." Noah greets Vera with a laugh, as he leans his elbow on the bar, glancing toward the bartender ordering himself whiskey on the rocks. He lets out a low whistle and wiggles his eyebrows, "you sure can clean up nice. Got a lucky date?"

Lucia got his attention a while ago, but he was stuck in conversation with an old friend of the family and even though he hasn’t been much of a Basilio lately he still takes part in the image of a close-knit family. He offered the other person a drink he didn’t intend on bringing back so he can get to the open bar where she was. “Hey,” he greets her after he ordered a drink, his eyes scanning her, his smile growing, “you look beautiful, Luce.”

"It's a party," Noah nodded his head as he smiled at her, "free alcohol and all that." He raised his cup before taking a sip out of it. "What about you? You enjoying your night?"

Issy wasn't a big drinker, but tonight she let herself have a couple beers. Nothing enough to take her over, but enough to stop anyone asking why she wasn't getting 'lit'. She walked into the kitchen for a refill before spotting him. "Having fun?" she asked, placing her cup on the count.

"You look amazing, Ley." Noah replied as he focused on taking a few more quick pictures before she came to look. "You going to rock them after this party too? Nightrest in it's country era." He laughed and shook his head, Noah preferred to be the one behind the camera usually. "I'm good, but I can take a few more of you if you want." He suggested instead. "One more hour or two and every picture will be blurry with the amount of alcohol everyone's drinking."

"Does it look good? Do I look good?" Aleyna asked as she posed, eyes away from the camera before finally breaking out of her pose so she could stand next to Noah to see the picture he took of her with an excited smile. "I don't know, I think I'm starting to see the appeal of these cowboy boots. They tie the whole outfit together," she said, giggling as she tugged on Noah's hand. "Did you want me to take your picture too?"

"Yeah, they go all out." Places like this always put Noah a little on edge, associating the expensive looks with his family. At least he knew he wouldn't bump in any of them with the possible exception of his brother, but he didn't mind him as much. "Just whisky, there's a bottle over there," he motioned with his head before he downed the rest of the liquid in his glass, "be a sunshine and grab it."

"Whoever owns this place got bank!" Sebastian exclaimed, pulling up to his best friend with his cup between his teeth. "I sometimes forget how the other side of Nightrest lives." He shook his head looking around at the place. Not too drastically larger than his farmhouse, but definitely much nicer and with newer everything. "What you mixing there? I've run out of whatever the hell I grabbed first."

He didn't know what he was supposed to be doing. Find a way to move on? Well, now that their lives weren't on the line every second of every day it did feel like it was possible, though a little weird. It's strange constantly reminding himself of everyone who should be here. He opened the door with a smile to match Bella's. "You are a sight for sore eyes. And that is the perfect gift." He stepped aside to let her come in. With the door closed behind them he led her to the living room and went to his kitchen to grab two glasses. "You doing alright after everything?"

It's been a week since what felt like one of the worst and scariest nights of her entire life, and since then, she had spent most of her time in Vera's hospital room and spending time with her daughter and family. Remembering what she told Dee one day, she decided once and for all that it was time to stop living in fear. To just live again, despite how terrifyingly difficult it seemed to be, despite the guilt she felt, feeling like she was being a bad mother for doing something for herself again. It was why she found herself outside of Noah's place, showing him a smile as soon as the door was opened. "I come bearing gifts," Bella said with a small smirk, holding up the bottle of liquor she brought with her.

“So I see how talking about this wasn’t my brightest idea.” he said as he ran a hand through his hair, but what else should he talk about? The absolutely stunning spot he found on the beach perfect for photoshoots? That feels a little tone deaf. “I’m real sorry, Sarah. But we should keep our minds positive, yeah? You don’t want to be telling Theo you wrote him off dead when he comes back. Do you want to go? I can walk you home, someone said walking helps clear the head or something.”

“Yeah,” Sarah murmured, nodding absentmindedly. She wished she could be more focused on the conversation, but her mind was racing with thoughts of the two missing people. “Yeah, I hope so, too.” Every mention of hope made her insides twist—with the track record of the town as of late, it didn’t bode well. But she couldn’t stop herself from wishing, anyway.

"haven't thought about that," his shoulders go up in a shrug, his main focus when it came to photography was nature and people. "but i can take some shots of your favorite. i know you're into historic things." he lightly shakes his head, it was funny how he fooled himself every problem disappears when you're stuck in a horror movie. "meant the murderous girl," he adds after "that sounds like the best idea."

"have you ever thought about taking photo's of some of the historic houses in salem?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. she knew that a good portion of them were still up. and gorgeous in a way. the fact that they were still around was amazing. "pretty sure you could take some photo's of them from outside." she noted. at his question, she raised an eyebrow. "there's a few people that relates too. one is my ex friend and the other is that crazy girl. if you're talking about the first one, i'm doing my best to stay away from her."

"You know what? I completely agree, you should dress like this every day." He grinned while he grabbed the jello shot from her. "Yeehaw sounds more like it." He took the shot even though he never understood the hype around it, but it was alcohol and he was intended on having fun tonight.

"I considered leaving off the hat and accessories so that I can be dressed as a normal hooker for the party, but this outfit is just a lot more fun. I might dress like this all the time" Iris said, to the person she was handing the jello shot to. "Cheers or howdy or whatever."

"That sounds like excuses to me, but whatever helps you sleep at night." Noah rolled his eyes, leaning into his seat as he watched Issy. He wasn't much of an expert when it came to bowling, most of it was pure luck he was getting decent hits. Either way he didn't care about winning, just glad he was out here getting to spend some time with her. "Let's see what you got then."

"I can assure you that you only won that game because my nail broke and my finger was hurting!" Issy said looking at the finger with a pout. She was normally pretty good at bowling, but today of all days- when she's been so cocky since they arrived- her finger decided to get caught inside of the ball leading to a broken nail. She wasn't going to let that stand so she clicked on the button to restart and said, "New game." she turned to look at Noah fiercely, "And this time you won't know what hit you."
