aiight let’s delve into her backstory

naeun has a mom, dad, three older bros nd a twin ( what Big fam ikr ) altho her relationship w her twin sister is complicated she gets along super well w her brothers. 

naeun nd her twin ? think the moon nd the sun. they are complete opposites nd ppl always remind her of that. naeun is introverted, guarded nd a loner meanwhile her sister is extroverted, friendly nd p much the Life of the party. 

she loves her twin but she also developed inferiority complex so its messy™ her fam always treated her as one of the bois meanwhile her sis was the lil princess, the apple of their eye. her mom is a photographer nd spent most of her time building albums nd albums of photos of her sis while naeun prolly only has one lmao so she always felt like there was smth wrong w her ? like why do they lov my twin nd not me even tho we are twins ? 

it didn’t take long for her to trade her time outside for time indoors. instead of hearing ppl fuzzing bout her sis 24/7 surfing the web became her new hobby. by being online she no longer was her twin’s sister, she was her own person nd she Loved it

as she delved deeper she discovered the world of coding nd boi did she get hooked. wtvr free time she had she’d spend it programming stuff nd what got her started on hacking was the thrill of the adventure. it was bout testing how far she could go without being caught.

anyHow things got mssy when she was in highschool bc bois would come up to her hoping that she would set them up w her sis or give them her number. but there was one guy who managed to slip into her heart nd she helped him out with wtvr he wanted ( hacking security cameras, changing his grades ) but it turned out that not only was he using her for tech skils but was also cheating on her .... jikes ! ... lettuce say naeun didn’t handle it that well nd made sure to ruin his life on social media so dnt piss her off :)))

time skip to now ig ? she graduated w a bachelors degree on cyber security nd works at a bank as a security analyst baso she detects & prevents any cyber threats. she’s p much a hermit nd has 0 cooking abilities so she lives out of instant food

personality wise !

naeun is rlly analytical nd she thinks b4 she acts. she outweighs pros & cons b4 doing smth nd she is super guarded. tbh as long as u dnt invade her personal bubble u will be fine. she’s also rlly honest nd direct, she calls them as she sees it so she can come off as mean nd callous. sarcasm is her second language nd she holds her grudges lmao she also loves gaming thanks to her bros. her closet is prolly full of hoodies nd sweatpants ( fashion police were u @ ) but all in all altho she may not show it, she does care for her friends ~

imogen was raised p much as a doll ? from the start her whole life was planned out for her . her mom had been a v successful model nd actress But ended up leaving that life after she got pregnant w her . 

so u could say she made imogen her life project ? imogen’s dad is all about the $$$ so he rlly didnt care bout what his wife did ( their marriage as an arranged one )

imogen has been behind a camera all her life . she’s modelled as a baby for anything her mom thought was gud enough 4 her nd then moved on to being a child actress

surprisingly she had a knack for dis ? she hated modelling but acting ? it was right down her alley bc that’s p much what she did 24/7 . her mom saw her as a mini her nd her dad saw her as a tool to get money so she learned to mask her feelings 

there was no point in crying when she fell bc no one was gnna b there to help so she just dusted herself off nd moved on . she’s a lone wolf 

[ domestic violence & abuse tw ] anyHow imogen grew up hving to learn to read other people . her dad was a v violent man w a horrible temper so mistakes were never allowed . reading him was a survival tactic . she had to know when to avoid him or she’d end up bruised all over nd that man was v good at knowing how to hide his tracks . he never once hit her in a place that would rise suspicion or couldn’t b covered by her clothes 

her mom was the one that got the short end of the stick as she never once gave up believing that one day he’d love her . she was a hopeless romantic nd had deluded herself into believing that that’s how he expressed his lov

okay moving forward

imogen grew up in a v messy household constantly surrounded by camera nd pretending to b this perfect family nd she absolutely hated it 

acting was the only thing that kept her going till she got tired of it nd became numb . she couldnt feel anything nd went thru life bored af until she discovered gambling

at first it was smth innocent but she got hooked . gambling bcame her everything it made her feel in control in power nd the adrenaline rush was addictive 

what she didn’t predict was getting into a huge ass debt nd having to start gambling w the money she’d gotten thru her acting career . at first evrything was dandy but when her father found out he raised Hell . they got into a huge fite nd sent her here !

all in all ... imogen is just desperate to feel smth . she lit craved the adrenaline that gambling provides her bc it makes her feel alive . she’s v guarded nd tends to prefer silence over chatter but she’s not above pretending to like someone just for the amusement of it . she’s got no bounds nd is willing to risk anything nd everything just to feel like she’s not dead

hello, my beauties ! ‘tis i, marls, soojin’s mun. this is my brand new babycakes, lucia. she’s still a work in progress but i’ve got her stats all sorted out HERE. she was born in 1906 so i think that makes her the third oldest of the bunch ! she has a birthday coming up ! ;)

here’s a few more tidbits about her: (under the cut)

Her birth name is Jinyoung but she hasn’t gone by it in years.

Lucia was born in 1906 in Busan. She was a twin.

She’s very wild and impulsive and it’s mostly a coping mechanism. She feels things very strongly and tries to do anything to avoid staying in her head for too long.

She’s pansexual – I have a headcanon that during the Roaring 20s, she actually had a fling with actress Alla Nazimova, which was the first time she realized she wasn’t straight.

She’s honestly less depressing than her history makes her out to be ( I can go into detail about this if you want )– she’s very good at avoiding issues she doesn’t want to think or talk about.

She is always the first one willing to jump up and try something new or go on an adventure.

Her peculiarity is water manipulation meets healing. She can only manipulate water in its liquid form. Her healing abilities are not all-powerful – she may not be able to heal something if their injuries are too severe.

hello friends~ and welcome to my intro! i am f i n a l l y making my appearance on the dash ! ( also did tumblr just change its font ? ew. ) i’m too old to be witty, but i’m very excited to introduce to you elysium’s bratty princess, yuri kwon! the name is marls, i’m 26 years old, she/her and i’m from the est timezone. i have way too many back problems for someone my age. i’ll be getting a page set up with stats & bio very soon but in the meantime, here’s a little bit about yuri:

A LOOK INTO THE PAST

yuri is a 22 year old member of elysium

she was born in seoul, sk into a very wealthy family. her father was a ceo and her mother a socialite, content to spend her dash in luxury. her father was never too attentive, always more focused on work and making sure his oldest child was being groomed to take part of the family business. 

yuri herself was never expected to do anything more than stay out of trouble, while was (in her father’s eyes) the heir to his empire that needed to be molded. 

personality wise, both she and her brother didn’t get along too well with the man who was barely around to be considered their father and yuri felt equally distant from her mother who never made her presence known in the house or had much of an opinion on how things were being done.

the only relative that she really gives a damn about his her older brother who has always looked out for her since they were kids. he means the absolute world to her and she would do anything for him.

her brother is six years older than her so when he left korea to start his own branch of the company in macau, she packed her bags and flew out to join him. (she was eighteen at the time.)

she began modeling right away to make sure that the lifestyle she was accustomed to wasn’t threatened. (her father doesn’t approve of her career choice, but yuri sees it as a little bonus.)

her brother linked up with elysium almost straight away once he found out that building connections with them was a sure fire way to strengthen his foothold in the new city he had decided call his own. yuri held back from affiliating with the group until she really just how powerful they really were. she decided it was a good investment in her future to join up.

although yuri is not stupid, her usefulness in elysium comes more from her beauty and charm as well as her family name. she will typically deliver messages and can often be seen wining and dining some of the most powerful men in macau.

PERSONALITY

yuri’s a brat. there’s no way around it. she was raised more by her brother and a nanny, and rarely heard the word ‘no’ when she was growing up.

she’s used to batting her eyelashes and pouting until she gets what she wants. 

if those methods don’t work, her temper has been known to flare up. 

she’s also very self-aware of how demanding she is and she’s not too apologetic about it. her brother is probably one of the only people she actually listens to. 

others will typically talk down to her, and she’s not one to sit down and take it. she’s the type to insult you with a sickeningly sweet smile.

her number one priority is her and her brother and elysium second. if elysium were ever to try and harm her brother, she would stop at nothing to destroy them.

otherwise, she’s pretty sassy and playful. she’s just got that, i’m untouchable, let’s get lit vibe going to her a lot

soojin is twenty-one years old ( whoo ! she had a birthday. )

she’s astrokinetic - aka she’s got some cosmic magic, yo ! ( it’s really pretty and really scary all at the same time )

essentially, she’s a runaway -- she was the only peculiar in her family and once she figured it out through a very particular trauma, she left with the first ymbryne that crossed her path

she had only been in one time loop before things started falling apart and she joined this group

soojin was really close to her family so it hurts her to be so far away from them

soojin is normally very sweet and mild-tempered. she can get a little lost in her thoughts and tends to come off air-headed, but she’s just very observant.
