The King of Heroes. What was he like? What were his ambitions? Was he just as tyrannical and barbaric as she’d been told? She wasn’t very sure of it herself, but this was... something different to look forward to. Perhaps they could be friends?

It wasn’t usual to try to be friends, especially in such a place like this, but the Lancer was certain she could befriend him! After all, she’d befriended her enemies before, it could work the same way... right?

What she didn’t expect was to be met with someone who exuded regality and splendor. Like a King from a fairytale. Perhaps that was why she was so awed by his presence at first. How cool was he?!

“So cool-!” She actually vocalized it. Lancer, why? “Hey, you’re the King of Heroes, right?! I’ve heard about you-- You’re not as scary as they said that you’d look!”

She’d been out going shopping, to get some essentials to make something to eat for dinner tonight. It was a day off from school, so she’d headed to the next town over to do so. The thing was, she hadn’t expected to run into her best friend there.

Hibiki stayed where she was for a moment, wondering if she was hallucinating Miku and she wasn’t actually there. However, a bright smile crossed the girl’s face as she ran towards her friend and hugged her.

“Miku!”

How long had it been since she’d last seen Miku? It felt like ages! “It’s been forever! I’m sorry I couldn’t go to Lydian with you... But I hope you’ve been doing alright!”

Who does she prefer? The mere thought of choosing Tsubasa terrified her to no end. She was responsible for Kanade’s death, didn’t Tsubasa hate her?
