“The Value of Being a Media and Information Literate Individual”

This media information gives us an idea and enables us to be informed as a user, however being  in the media literacy, In my thoughts of this it emphasizes our ability to understand media literacy and it's function and use them for our self-expression. While information literacy emphasizes the importance of information. Being literate about media and information will give us advantage in our modern world today especially in terms of giving and gathering information knowing  this century is worst right now mostly because of  false and accurate information in different kinds of medium especially in media, Some advantages of this is it can improved our daily life and can improved our  learning in our community and can add some knowledge about it and with this value of media and information literacy we have our freedom to express, our right to freedom of our opinion and gives us freedom to express ourselves. As a student we need these media and information because it can help us in our learning and to gain more information in the near future.

These literacies should be applied in everyday lives because it is really really useful since we are facing a pandemic now and we should be aware of the information that is given to us. Each action and decision we make depends on the information that we have read. And each action we make has a consequence. As a student of Liceo De Cagayan University, it is necessary to be able to know the uses and importance of these literacies in individuals, because it helps us to be a better person, plus applying core values makes us a noble person. We should understand every information we read on social media is a must because these days there are several cases of fake news that was spread on the internet. And we should be aware that fake news can lead us to a bad consequences that we might regret for not understanding the information we read.
