No cause it’s so offensive to not defend your close friend who you know did nothing wrong WHILE on vacation that THEY took you to.
Why didn’t Garroth, Travis, and Nana jump in and say anything? Didn’t Garroth literally just mention a few episodes ago that Dante hasn’t dated anyone since Nana in Highschool? And Nana confirmed it by punching him, fully debunking the cheater propaganda and then Jess remembered that and showed us that he in fact didn’t cheat contradicting herself again for the 200th time. nah cause they were so fake to Dante I can’t believe he took them to a one week 5 star cruise afterwards none of them deserved it he’s better than me fr most annoying part of that season was when aphmau came in with her 4 foot self involving herself in something that had nothing to do w her and talking about some “where’s Dante I gotta teach him a lesson1!1!1 🤬” girl you barely reach his kneecap he can literally pick u up and throw you out of a window sit down you have much more important struggles to worry about like how your boyfriend can’t be around kids and how you almost dated your half brother. Now be grateful you’re even here in love love paradise mrs grown woman who swims with toddlers in the kiddies pool and Nicole.. you also grow up you’re crying childishly cause he doesn’t date you 💀 it’s not the end of world seriously get over it y’all never were and never will be a thing leave that man aloneeee there are many fish in the sea go date Katelyn instead if you want one with blue hair so badly
As usual Zane and Lucinda were the only reasonable, logical and smart two to not involve themselves in this mess
#And when Garroth and Travis were telling Dante to apologise.. Apologise for what? Not wanting to date somebody? 💀#mystreet#dante aphmau#aphblr#aphmau dante#minecraft diaries#garroth ro'meave#laurence zvhal#aaron lycan#aphverse#nicole von ronsenburg#aphmau#travis valkrum#zane romeave#Nicole’s very pretty too she can get anyone she wants but she’s crying over Dante who doesn’t want her? Like… his loss girl but don’t haras#him go date Katelyn or something if you want a partner with blue hair that badly#Lucinda aphmau#Dante mystreet#nana ashida#Don’t take this too seriously I’m not genuinely mad over blocks I like being overdramatic to make it sound more entertaining that’s all#I don’t genuinely hate anyone mentioned here#Except garte but I didn’t mention him just thought I’d say I hate him cause I do

5 Lessons from Surah Yusuf
Do you make dua and wonder if your prayers will ever be answered? Is there something you are striving for yet it remains out of reach? When you make steps toward being a better Muslim, do you feel like even those around you that love you and care about you are jealous of your good efforts? Do you feel like you are going through trials and tests again and again? Are others mocking you when you attempt to do something that pleases Allah? You are not alone. And rest assured, others have struggled to overcome these same challenges. There are numerous lessons in the Qur’an that can serve as an inspiration to persist in the face of adversity. Let’s reflect upon five lessons gained by reading Surat Yusuf
Lesson1: Something Miserable Is Better Than Disobeying Allah
Prophet Yusuf (AS) had already suffered a series of tests and trials, yet he remained obedient to Allah. His brothers had abandoned him in the well, then he was found and sold as a slave at the market. Despite being a loyal servant to the king, Yusuf (AS) was defamed and imprisoned. At the zenith of this crisis when everything seemed bleak, the wife of the King threatened to imprison Yusuf (AS) unless he would give in to her attempts at seduction. Yusuf (AS)’s response was recorded in the Qur’an, My lord, prison is more to my liking than that to which they invite me. And if you do not avert me from my plan, I might incline toward them and [thus] be of the ignorant. (Yusuf 12 : 33)
Yusuf (AS) chose to live in the dark, dreary dungeon in a life of shackles over disobedience to Allah. Clearly, even if you encounter dismal surroundings and misery, Allah’s pleasure is greater and longer lasting. You will triumph if you obey Allah!
Lesson 2: Don’t Be Jealous
Jealousy divides communities, breaks up families, and splits up friendships. Prophet Yaqoob (AS) said, O my son, do not relate your vision to your brothers or they will contrive against you a plan. Indeed Satan, to man, is a manifest enemy. (Surah Yusuf 12 : 5)
They were brothers by blood, but Yusuf’s brothers would not have been pleased by his vision of prophethood. Even those close to you – friends and family – might not be thrilled about blessings you have received or steps you take to live a life that is pleasing to Allah. It is best to keep your dreams quiet and only share them with trustworthy supporters until these aspirations are a flourishing reality.
Yusuf’s brothers believed Yaqoob (AS) loved Yusuf (AS) more than them. Their jealousy boiled up out of control. These brothers became an irrational gang, and they plotted to get rid of Yusuf (AS) by abandoning him in the well. One lie was woven into a web of lies, and the brothers informed their father that Yusuf (AS) had been devoured by a wolf (Mubarakburi, 2003; Sahih International, 1997)! Jealousy even touched the prophets, so we need to be sure to stamp out jealousy in our communities. As Muslims we should be sincerely happy when we see others being blessed by Allah. When we see people excelling in religion or gaining success we should say Masha’Allah or Tabarak Allah.
Lesson 3: Never Give Up Hope in Allah
Prophet Yaqoob (AS) never gave up the hope of finding his son. When Yusuf (AS)’s brothers came back to tell him that their brother was stolen and remained behind, Yaqoob (AS) was still sad about his loss of Yusuf (AS). He went blind over suppression of his grief, and complained only to Allah. Despite the intense grief he felt and the previous reports of Yusuf (AS) being consumed by a wolf, Yaqoob (AS) did not give up hope (Mubarakpuri, 2003: Sahih International, 1997). He instructed his sons to continue to search for Yusuf (AS) and his brother saying,
O my sons go and find out about Josepha and his brother and despair not of relief from Allah. Indeed no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people. (Yusuf 2:87)
Imagine, Prophet Yaqoob (AS) had not seen his son since childhood, so many years had passed that Prophet Yusuf (AS) was now a king of Egypt. Despite the passing of all these years, Prophet Yaqoob (AS) still firmly held onto the hope that Allah would answer his prayers and reunite him with his son. Many of us have trouble being patient for a few hours or a couple of days, let alone years or decades! Alhamdulillah, Yaqoob (AS) never gave up, and Allah answered his dua, relieving him of the sorrow he felt.
Lesson 4: Patience is Beautiful, So be Patient All the Time
We should always be patient. If we have patience in hardship, continuously counting our blessings, we will truly be victorious in both hardship and ease. Can you count how many times Yusuf (AS) was patient? He was patient while awaiting the fulfillment of his dream. He was patient when his brothers abandoned him in the well. He was patient when he was sold as a slave. He was patient when the king’s wife accused him of seduction. Yusuf (AS) continued to be patient when he was put in jail. Even when his fellow inmate was released and forgot about him, Yusuf (AS) continued to be patient! As the king of Egypt, Yusuf (AS) continued to be patient with his brothers’ slander. He kept his cool when they tried to say that his brother Binyamin was stealing just as his brother (Yusuf) had done the same before him (Mubarakpuri, 2003; Sahih International, 1997)! Regardless of the time, situation, place, or scenario, Yusuf (AS) remained patient.
Lesson 5: Forgive
When Yusuf (AS) finally confronts his brothers later in life, it is a beautiful lesson of forgiveness. After his brothers return with their father and Binyamin is accused of theft, they return to Yusuf (AS) in a great predicament. His brothers are enduring hard times in which they have poor harvest and are in need. On the other hand Yusuf (AS) has not only become the king of Egypt, but he has astutely saved provisions and prepared his community to survive the famine. Although Yusuf (AS) has suffered many hardships on account of his brother’s jealous plotting, Yusuf (AS) is strong and holds the upper hand. Instead of treating them with harshness or rebuking them to endure starvation, Yusuf (AS) utters very lovely words,
No blame will there be upon you today. Allah will forgive you; and He is the most merciful of the merciful. (Al Yusuf 12:92)
Instead of being bitter and angry or taking vengeance, Yusuf (AS) was strong enough to choose forgiveness! With all his power as a leader, Yusuf (AS) preferred the sweetness of forgiveness.
Although this brief reflection touches upon a few lessons of Surat Yusuf, take a few minutes to reflect a
bit more. Stop and read over this chapter of the Qur’an. Take a few moments to close your eyes and imagine implementing the lessons above. How can you bravely continue to be obedient to Allah? Is there a way you can support someone and help stamp out jealousy among friends or family? What steps would help you augment your hope that Allah will answer your prayers? In hard times, what reminders will prompt you to persevere in patience? Can you find it in your heart to forgive someone who has wronged you? What other lessons can you learn from Surat Yusuf?

Lions, Tigers and Bears oh my, Naw, not the nursery rhyme kind: When the line you don’t supposed to have (because everybody already accuses you of being the favorite) begins to ring, but you decide to answer anyway
Zahra, the tigers let themselves out again, the lions are on standby, and I suggest you convey the message that it won’t be a good idea to poke the bears, they don’t like that.
The tigers are the ELDERS nobody has the power to hold them or set them free, they possess the wisdom, nobody keeps them under lock and key…

A crash course for Beginners: Semiotics
#Lesson1
“Everything we do sends messages about us in a variety of codes, sociologists contend. We are constantly receiving messages encoded in music, gestures, foods, rituals, books, movies, or advertisements. Yet, we seldom realize that We have received such messages, and would have trouble explaining the rules under which they operate” – Maya Pines.
This insightful statement by Maya Pines probably eased most of my initial confusion when I first encountered the concept of "Semiotics." If you're feeling the same, don't worry—you're not alone! Since the best way to learn something is to teach it, let's explore the basics of semiotics together.
So what is Semiotics?
Semiotics, at its core, is the science of signs. It’s about understanding how meaning is constructed and conveyed through the different signs and symbols we encounter every day. According to Swiss linguist Ferdinand de Saussure, one of the two founding fathers of semiotics, it is "the science that studies the life of signs within society." This means semiotics helps us decipher how we interpret messages from our surroundings, whether through images, words, sounds, or other signals.
Saussure’s groundbreaking theory divided signs into two essential components:
Signifier: The form that the sign takes (such as a word, sound, or image).
Signified: The concept or meaning that the sign represents.
For example, if you see the word "tree" (the signifier), your mind automatically generates the image or concept of a tree (the signified). However, Saussure stressed that the meaning of a sign isn’t fixed or universal—it’s relational. The meaning of one sign often depends on how it relates to others within a system of signs. This is why words, symbols, or gestures can mean different things in different cultural or social contexts.
Peirce’s Triadic Model (Three-Part Model)
While Saussure focused on the linguistic aspects of signs, American philosopher Charles Sanders Peirce expanded semiotics beyond language, offering a more general framework. Peirce identified three types of signs:
Icons (The Representment): These signs signify by resemblance. For instance, a photograph of a cat is an icon because it resembles the cat itself.
Indexes (An Interpretant): These signs signify through cause and effect. For example, smoke is an index of fire, as the presence of smoke indicates the cause (fire) behind it.
Symbols (An Object): These signs are based on convention or agreement within a culture. Words, for example, are symbols. The word “cat” is a symbol because there’s nothing inherently "cat-like" about the letters or sounds, but society agrees that this symbol represents the animal.
But we have to note that The meaning of Concepts is relational, and it is the relationship between and among Concepts that provide us with their meanings.
Let's have an example: The Apple Logo
To better understand semiotics, let's consider a famous example: the Apple logo. The logo is a symbol that signifies not only the tech company but also its values of innovation, simplicity, and modern design. The signifier here is the simple apple with a bite taken out of it. The signified, however, can vary: for some, it might symbolize cutting-edge technology; for others, it could evoke thoughts of creativity or sleek design.
Interestingly, the Apple logo also functions as an index because it links to the company's products—seeing the logo might immediately make you think of iPhones or MacBooks. And in some ways, the logo even acts as an icon because the image resembles a real apple, albeit in a stylized form.
Conclusion of our first lesson
Semiotics helps us unravel the hidden meanings embedded in everyday life. Whether it’s a brand logo, a road sign, or even the language we speak, everything around us is made up of signs that convey messages, whether we realize it or not. Understanding semiotics gives us the tools to decode
