Calling out to her was possibly a dangerous trap but... Fiends would be more eager to attack a traveller still travelling at this time of night instead of a camp that was set up.

“ You should rest for the night. I’ve set up camp just over there. ” And he gestured at the camp itself, with the fire crackling happily. “ It’s easier than traversing the sands here, the fiends are more dangerous at night than they are in the daytime. ”

It’s a cold night in Ishgard, like usual. Sidurgu was out and there really wasn’t much for her to do. The child curls up by the fire, hot cocoa in hand. The familiar sound of the doors opening reaches her ears, and Rielle looks up to see a slightly familiar face. What’s her name again...?

Right, it’s Sine, isn’t it? “ ...Sidurgu... He isn’t here, if you’re looking for him... ” Her voice is soft, as if she’s afraid of speaking louder than a whisper.

The King of Heroes. What was he like? What were his ambitions? Was he just as tyrannical and barbaric as she’d been told? She wasn’t very sure of it herself, but this was... something different to look forward to. Perhaps they could be friends?

It wasn’t usual to try to be friends, especially in such a place like this, but the Lancer was certain she could befriend him! After all, she’d befriended her enemies before, it could work the same way... right?

What she didn’t expect was to be met with someone who exuded regality and splendor. Like a King from a fairytale. Perhaps that was why she was so awed by his presence at first. How cool was he?!

“So cool-!” She actually vocalized it. Lancer, why? “Hey, you’re the King of Heroes, right?! I’ve heard about you-- You’re not as scary as they said that you’d look!”
