sevika who was never big on physical touch , struggling at first to get used to you being clingy. it's not unpleasant for her but it's certainly something to get used to , she's a bit surprised that you'd choose her of all people to latch onto in this way.

she's also never been great at dealing with big emotions. at first her eyes will widen when your face begins to scrunch up , clearly seconds from crying. she might begin to panic though she tries to hide it. "hey , hey. what's wrong , kid ?" she works hard on her tone so she doesn't sound too gruff or out of her element. she'll put her hand on your shoulder a bit awkwardly , trying to comfort you physically.

she's not great at comforting people but she's a great listener and very perceptive. if she notices you acting differently she'll gently pull you aside. "what's the matter , kid ?" she'll ask straightforwardly in a soft tone. she hunches down to look you in the eye , resting a hand on your shoulder. if you don't answer she doesn't push but she needs you to know she cares. "well , i'm here if ya need me, hm ?" she'll say raising an eyebrow at you.

okay i doubt this book exists in zaun but i do not care... sevika doing kissing hands with you , her clingy little cub whenever she has to go off to work or on a more dangerous outing. you'll start to cry and she'll gently shush you , placing soft kisses on both sides of your hands. "now you do mine ," she instructs in her gravelly voice. you wipe your teary eyes. "what for ?" she's embarrassed as she explains it to you , you make her so soft it makes her sick. you giggle , eagerly kissing her hands before pressing yours to your cheeks.

when you get weepy , she'll pick you up , plopping you on her lap , bouncing you a bit. this immediately calms you down , sometimes all you need is your mama's touch.

mama bear sevika who is always holding your hand out in public. she tells everyone it's just because you want it , but it's just as much for her own comfort. she doesn't like her cub getting too far , especially when you tend to fuss easily. the idea of you getting lost terrifies her probably even more than it does you.

sometimes as a treat sevika will give you piggy back rides or shoulder rides. "you're killin' me kid," she'll joke when you ask her forty minutes later for just one more spin around the house. still she carries you around one more time , collapsing onto the couch with a dramatic sigh when she's had enough.

sevika setting up a card game for you and your stuffed animals when she has to leave you. "watch out for the bulldog , he's a cheater." she'll warn you playfully. "mamaaa , i don' want you to gooo ," you'll whine tearfully. "aww , buck up kiddo. i'll be back before round two," she'll say with a wink.

if you're having a bad day and are more weepy than usual sevika will cheer you up by attempting to draw for you. key word : attempting. she's not an artist by any stretch and you always laugh when she tries to draw your special stuffie , or jinx. she'll snort , trying not to laugh herself. "aw, c'mon , kid. you're just jealous you can't draw like i can."

mama sevika who loves to cuddle up with you in her lap and read to you. she does lots of silly voices and will quiz you on plot points. "one more chapter , pleeeease !!" she'll pout at you , booping your nose. "no time tonight , cub. you gotta get to sleep." you'll whine and fuss , but eventually she wins , arguing that if you're too sleepy tomorrow you'll be too grumpy to read. she'll tuck you and your stuffies in bed giving all of you forehead kisses before flicking off the light and turning in for the night as well.

I was so excited to visit the Pumila again but the Affini up here are so pushy it's getting annoying! U-ｪ-#U I've literally had to ask 5 different Affini not to touch me, because I don't like physical affection from strangers even if it's just like a simple headpat. One was suuuper insistent that they kept petting me and even offered me a Class E to "take your little worries away". it took another Affini noticing I was Completely uncomfortable, and quite frankly a little scared, U>ɪ<U to get them to leave me alone! the Affini that helped me out was super chill they pulled the pushy Affini away from me, and I think told them off! (Idk I only know the very basics and it's a different dialect than we use planetside but think it sounded stern???) They apologized on the other Affini's behalf, but still, it really put a huge damper on my mood. U-ｪ-U I told Nerine about it and she said she'd compile something that should keep the Affini from touching me and we'll have to swing by her hab to pick it up after the little tour of the cool spots she knows. I really hope it does help because this is starting to be a problem for me!

Recently, life has been kicking you in the ass. You’ve been so overwhelmed with school and work that you don’t have time for anyone or anything. You don’t even have time to cry, that’s how packed your schedule is.

You don't even feel bad for yourself; you feel bad for your boyfriend. He’s been wanting to hang out with you for the longest, but you've had to turn him down every time. "Sorry, I have a shift later tonight" or "I have to study": tonight was the second one you had to study for an upcoming test. No matter how much you really wanted him to be there with you, you really just couldn’t be distracted.

Hours have passed, it’s almost midnight, and yes, you are still studying. You are practically falling asleep on your text books—that is, until you hear your front door open. You don’t know who it is who, in their right mind, would come at this time. You exit your bedroom and peek through the wall to find your boyfriend with convenience store bags full of snacks in his arms. You swore you could feel tears running down your eyes. "Taehyun?" you ask. "What are you doing here?" He can tell by the tone of your voice that you are extremely tired.

He put the bags down, immediately hugged you, and started whispering in your ear. "I know that you are busy, and you didn’t want me here because I could be a distraction for you, but..." You cut him off by placing your lips on his. Kissing him as if there was no tomorrow You didn’t care that you had to study; all you wanted more than anything right now was to have him next to you. You didn’t realize how much you had missed him over the past few weeks.

When you saw him, you felt as if all of your stress and worries just washed away, and you felt like you were free. You finally pulled away from the kiss so both of you could catch your breath, but you still kept him extremely close. Y’all had stayed like this for a while until your boyfriend broke the silence. "Have you eaten yet?" he asked, concerned but still holding you in a hug. "I ate a nutrition bar," you reply, and you weren’t lying; that’s the only thing you had eaten today. "Go sit on the couch and put on a movie while I make us some ramen," he said while patting your back, trying to make you let go of him so he could go cook you guys some food, but you wouldn’t budge. "Honey, please let go so I can go make us some food." You don’t want to let go, but food does sound extremely tempting right now.

When he’s done making ramen, he comes back down to sit right next to you with both ramen bowls in his hands until he hands you your bowl, and you two both start eating while watching movies together.

As you both finished up your ramen, you guys continued to watch the movie—that is, until Taehyun felt your head on his shoulder. At first, he thought maybe you just wanted to lay on him, but when he looked over at you, your eyes were closed, and that’s when he knew you were asleep. You had been overworking yourself for weeks, and the only thing that made you feel okay was your boyfriend. The whole world could be against you; the world could be ending, but you wouldn’t care as long as you had your boyfriend next to you. When he was with you, you knew you were going to be alright.

requested by anon ! i did headcanons instead of a fic, i wasn't sure which you preferred but headcanons are a bit less time consuming and you've been waiting a bit so i decided on headcanons. i hope that's okay ! mommy ! caitlyn is so sweet :3 arcane masterlist here , upcoming list here

mama caitlyn is never angry or yelling, but she is firm. if you've done something naughty she'll bend down to look into your eyes, firm hand on your shoulder, and speak to you in a calm but stern tone, scolding you a bit and explaining to you why what you've done was naughty.

if you're especially fussy, she'll take you onto her lap shushing you gently as she rubs your back. "what's the matter, my love? mama can see you're upset, would you like to talk about it?"

with you being a bit of a troublemaker she's no stranger to you coloring on the walls. her hand catches her face as she sighs but she can't help but chuckle. "where's mama's little artist?" she'll call and you'll nervously peek your head around the corner. "do you want to explain yourself mister/missie/little one?" you sheepishly grin at her, trying to decide if you should pretend it wasn't you. a few days later she gets whiteboard paint for your room and all colors of markers.

you're always making messes and blaming them on your stuffies. imagine you're up early trying to make yourself a bowl of cereal when you drop the milk. you try to clean it all up by yourself but in the end you have to accept defeat, creeping into caitlyn's room with your stuffie in hand. tapping her awake, holding your stuffed animal right in front of her face. "um.. mommy... bunny did an oopsie. i tried to help him but it was too much..."

you're no stranger to the time out corner. you try to tantrum your way out of it but caitlyn won't say anything, giving you a sympathetic look but not letting you out until you can calm down. "shhh, baby, enough yelling now, love. you're gonna hurt your voice. as soon as you've calmed down enough to tell mama why you're feeling grumpy you can come out."

if you're in a fussy mood, caitlyn will sing to you to calm you down. she has a pretty voice but saves it only for you. she'll often sing you lullabies if you're trying to protest against bedtime or nap time. you'll start to stomp and she'll give you an amused look. "i know you're not sleepy (;3) but why don't you rest your pretty little head a minute and let mama sing to you?" she knows you really are sleepy and that's why you're so cranky, but she knows you'll shout if she suggests it.

if you're feeling especially testy you'll curse, only the baby equivalent curses but this shocks her every time. she'll gasp, horrified. "who taught you that, that's very naughty." she might drop the classic "i'm not mad, just disappointed," or have you write lines. nothing crazy, just "i will not say bad words," five or ten times. if you start to get upset, she'll sit with you, once again explaining why those words are bad. if you're to get weepy she stops the punishment immediately, kissing your head and rocking you. you'll choke out something about you being bad, and she gently shushes you. "oh no no no. look at me, baby, can you do that? can you look at mama?" you tearily glance up at her, and she meets your eye. "in no way are you bad, sweetheart. you may have done something naughty but you're a very good girl/boy/pup/etc. do you hear me? i love you so much, baby, i'm not angry with you, just need you to understand me. does that make sense?"

she always keeps a paci on her for if you're out in public together and you get fussy. sometimes you lose yours, spitting it out to get your mama's attention. she'll have you in your stroller going up and down the same few blocks trying to find your beloved paci you spit out. she always has an extra one because this seems to be so entertaining for you — you can't stop giggling whenever you spit your paci out like you did something sneaky.
