other tenants of the building include: -Picard (the head of the college that Data attends) and Q (no one really knows what he does, he just pops in and out whenever he pleases) -Troi (high school guidance counselor) and Riker (personal trainer) and Worf used to live here too but he moved out -Beverly (still a doctor) and Wesley (burnt out college freshman) -Barclay (works at Blockbusters w/ Data and Geordi) -Guinan (bartender of a secretly gay bar)

Ima start with a piece I'm very happy with.

Current Hyperfixation is Good Omens, so my personnal journal has to go through GO themed decoration of course!

I make a page for each month, and here is June.

A bit crowded but I spent a good chunk of time on it (most of it being a full afternoon watching Season 2 in the background)

It's watercolours and colour pencils with gold and white gel pens for the details.

Shadow has a hard time sleeping.

He doesn't need to sleep, really, if he's feeling sluggish, he can just pop a few coffee beans, and he's good for the day. He's the ultimate lifeform after all, he was created for a purpose and was made to be constant, ongoing. The "ultimate lifeform" doesn't need to stop to rest.

And...it's hard to fall asleep. He'll never admit it out loud, but spending 50 years in stasis really impacted his relationship with sleep. Scared that when he closes his eyes, time will pass by around him again. He knows it's irrational. He isn't in labs anymore. He isn't on the ARK anymore.

...yet he avoids his bed at all costs.

It's only when he stays the night with you at your insistence that he feels a soft, fuzzy feeling wave over him. You hold him close, arms wrapped around his middle, pressing him right to your chest, a silent promise to not let him go. A cuddle session he's more than accustomed to thanks to you, and your gentle heartbeat lulls him to rest.

Your presence, your scent, your heart. It all calms him enough to sleep through the whole night. A constant reminder that someone's there with him, he won't be left behind.
