He's running around in the movie screwing around people and after he shoots her yeah and he's wasting tons of time and he loses track of her and doesn't think much of it that's really the main event and she comes back and he tries to go after again and she says oh I see and it's a battle all the time and he starts a war with her race and tons of them get creamed by these guys they hit them in pretty good all the time and it's just a measure it's a good measure to make sure it's done where you're going and where you are and so forth and they live by it and tons of people want Trump just gone and they're working at it day and night after this incident this is you freed her partially where's the other part and they're going after Trump and looking into Tommy f and they're trying to find her and she is with Dolores in Utah and they figured it out didn't take too long and they go up there and start beating the s*** out of everybody to get around anyone in the way and Trump takes a beating keeps pouring people and they keep dying and it happens for quite a while and eventually he decides you should have our son go up there cuz it's not working at all he wants to try that threats on him to get her out and we figured out that's how we can get her out and blame him and he is in the addict when it comes to watching people and sent you to see reactions and who comes up and stuff and who emerges and who starts watching and he doesn't really do much with it but he just is some kind of voyeur and he really needs a hobby something else to do and this becomes his main focus for like years now for however long his life is just to follow Camila and his following dee around if she gets out. And he's a huge douchebag and starts dying quite a bit because people see the attitude in public and he's a horrible f****. It really helps out a lot and it's much needed and points out this type of person. There's a lot of them around the world and after this happens cocaine bear begins a bunch of them die all three of them from the scene are in cocaine there and die the blonde guy gets ripped apart badly and they blame Trump and then it goes into the prophecy movie and there's a funeral for uncle rod and that's after the reading of Arnie's will and their son has to go up there they actually get them up there and put him up in a hotel and get him some money and it's because they want to find some stuff that only has in the will. And I also after the code that will come out and then moving out right now and things are going to start happening. And we think Alex Cross and the incident will happen coming up we think it's this weekend sometime and it looks it in the movie
Thor Freya
There's a lot of excitement going on with our people and with the clans who are left is not many people it's a few hundred in the area and it's terrifying but they see what's happening and people are interested. And it might have a bad effect on them that's the clans and my people are going to have to fight but we're going to take big bites out of and they suck in their jerks and sacrileges and it's going to change everything for the better and we hear Tommy f and it's his idea and to have the to do it and it's going to backfire and then it's going to go back to the others and back and forth until they're nobody and we really need it what a quagmire of idiot crap and discontent for just about any reason they come up with. And it's going to erase there clans the ones doing it to each other and they'll have nobody

『What's Eating Gilbert Grape』PART2~The best work of art! Life is filled with a few tears and a little laughter~
12.What happened to the affair
Gilbert visits Betty's husband's office, fearing that he will be accused of cheating on her.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Betty's husband:
"Aren't you restless?"
"I understand that."
"I'd panic if I were you."
"I looked into you."
"You don't even have medical insurance."
"Disaster insurance and life insurance"
"Gilbert, are you prepared for anything?"
"What if an unexpected disaster occurs?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert was startled by the ringing of the phone.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Betty's husband:
"What will happen to your remaining family?"
"Have you ever thought about that?"
"You should think about your family more than yourself."
"Do you want them to get lost on the street?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert thought Betty's husband would blame him for cheating, but it turned out to be an insurance solicitation.
The call was from Betty.
Gilbert feared that Betty had revealed the affair out of anger.
Gilbert and Betty's husband head home.
Because Gilbert left her,she was so shocked that she couldn't turn off the oven, and the whole house was filled with smoke.
Betty's hysterical husband forces his reluctant child to eat a burnt cookie.
Gilbert tries to escape from this funny and jokey mess as quickly as possible, but starts the engine of his car, but it just doesn't start.
Then Betty approached.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Betty:
"I could have chosen any man."
"But I chose you."
Gilbert:
"Why me?"
Betty:
"That's because you wouldn't leave town."
ーーーーーーーーーー
For Gilbert, these words were painful.
It's like being told, "You will live your whole life in this town at the expense of your family.''
Betty's husband has a terrible temper and loses his temper easily.
It's interesting to find out why Betty cheats and why her children don't get attached to her husband.
That night, Betty's husband was so excited that he suffered a heart attack and unfortunately drowned in a plastic children's pool, even though it was shallow.
The area around the children's plastic pool was divided into squares with criminal crime scene no-trespassing tape.
This scene, which has a horror feel, childishness, and comicality, is the best.
Gilbert, Tucker, and another mortician friend, Bobby, talk about it at a cafe.
Bobby uses the spoon as Betty's husband, bends his knees and neck, dips his face in the ashtray, and explains the circumstances of his drowning.
It's like a horror comedy novel by Stephen King.
Tucker suspects that Betty may have killed him.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"I don't know. I think it's possible, but…"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert has no love for Betty.
13.Becky's Counseling
Gilbert, Arnie, and Becky were relaxing by the river.
Unfettered by conventional wisdom, Becky entered the river and seemed to find peace.
Arnie is doing his favorite tree climbing and dancing nearby.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie:
"I'm not there. I'm nowhere."
"Where's Arnie? "Say that."
Becky:
"Go into the river."
Arnie:
" 'Where’s Arnie?’ Say that."
Becky:
"Where's Arnie?"
Arnie:
"I'm not here!"
"Please say it one more time."
"Say that and look for me."
Becky:
"Let's swim together."
Gilbert:
"He can't. He's afraid of water and will never go in."
Arnie:
"I won't go into the water."
Becky:
"What about you?"
Gilbert:
"I don't like it."
Becky:
"Why?"
"Are you afraid of water too?"
"Do not fit?"
Arnie:
"He's afraid."
Gilbert:
"Is this what I should do?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert calmly dipped his feet into the river.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Flashy?"
Becky:
"More."
Gilbert:
"Is this it?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert strode furiously across the river and came close to Becky, splashing in the water.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"How about this? Are you satisfied?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
It takes courage to challenge something.
And only by taking action, you begin to feel the meaning of that action.
People tend to think that the act of jumping into a river is frivolous.
They think it's meaningless from the beginning.
If you think something is pointless or nonsense before doing it, it will lead to nihilism.
In the end, you come to the conclusion that "living has no meaning.''
However, it is only through action that changes can occur in your heart, such as having fun, feeling lighter, being moved, or feeling different emotions than usual.
Rather than coming up with a meaning first, people gradually "feel" the meaning in their actions and absorb the energy for living into their bodies.
I think that your own meaning is created after your actions.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"Think of what you want."
"What do you want?"
"Quickly"
Gilbert:
"Something new. A new home for my family."
"And some aerobics for mom."
"My little sister becomes an adult"
"A new brain for Arnie"
"After that…"
Becky:
"For yourself?"
"What do you want?"
Gilbert:
"I want to be a good person."
"I’m not good at things like this."
ーーーーーーーーーー
I think Gilbert has lived his life believing that he should not have his own desires and hopes.
I think he has suppressed his desires somewhere deep in his unconscious mind.
14.Mother Bonnie goes outside
Gilbert was relaxing and having a nice time with Becky, and forgot about Arnie.
Arnie ends up climbing the water tower again.
Gilbert doesn't get there in time, and an aerial vehicle comes out and pulls Arnie down.
Gilbert pleads with the police, but they don't accept him, and Arnie is taken into custody.
His mother, Bonnie, doted on Arnie.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Mother Bonnie:
"Give me a jacket."
"Quickly!"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Bonnie's large body had made her the laughing stock of the town, and she was so worried about it that she didn't go out for many years.
Still, she musters up the courage for Arnie's sake and goes to take him back to the police station.
Bulimia also means that she's also suffering from depression.
The outside world must have been many times more frightening than for a normal person.
Bonnie was once the most beautiful woman in town.
Shout out to the Chief of Police.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Mother Bonnie:
"Jerry! Jerry!"
Bonnie:
"Jerry, give me back my son."
Chief Jerry:
"There is a procedure."
Mother Bonnie:
"No, give me back!"
"Give me back my son!"
"My son! Give me back!"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Apparently she knew the police chief, and with Bonnie's sword, Arnie was released.
Maybe it was a former lover.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Mother Bonnie:
"My sunshine! Good!"
"Don't go anywhere now. Okay?"
"It's okay, let's go home."
ーーーーーーーーーー
When Arnie was released and Bonnie left the police station, a crowd of onlookers had gathered around her as they heard Bonnie coming out of the house.
People pointing, old people taking pictures, children laughing.
Inside it,close to family, Gilbert, Amy, and Ellen are so proud as they walk proudly as if to protect their mother, it's a scene that will bring you to tears.
Bonnie, her mother, is depressed when she returns home after being ridiculed by the townspeople.
It was a family dinner where only Arnie's happy voice could be heard, making the family dinner all the more sad.
15.Farewell to Betty
After Betty's husband's funeral, Betty comes to say goodbye to Gilbert at the general store.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Betty:
"To St. Louis."
"That house is leaving."
Gilbert:
"I really don't care about your husband…"
Betty:
"Everyone said I killed him."
"You think so?"
Gilbert:
"No."
Betty:
"He was a good husband."
"It's sad, but not sad."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Betty's hands were shaking so much that she couldn't light a cigarette.
Gilbert lovingly lit the match.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Betty:
"Gilbert, what are you going to do?"
"Aren't you thinking?"
"Do you want to stay here and give up on yourself to take care of everyone else?"
"Sometimes I think, someday, my children will be like you."
"I'd be happy if they grew up like you."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Then Becky came into the store to do some shopping.
Betty kissed Gilbert on the cheek one last time.
Betty said to Becky.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Betty:
"I'll give in."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Betty left the store with a dignified air and a cigarette in her mouth.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"Don't you forget her?"
Gilbert:
"Ah"
Becky:
"Good."
ーーーーーーーーーー
I think Becky wanted Gilbert to cherish his memories and not erase them.
16.Tectonic shifts in a small town
A hamburger chain called 'Burger Barn' has arrived in the rural town of Endora, Iowa.
It's a mobile store, and it comes in a trailer.
As if to knock on Gilbert's closed mind, campers and mobile stores begin to visit.
At the opening sale, they will give out hamburgers, shakes, etc. to everyone.
Tucker gets a job there and works as a clerk.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Moderator:
"Thank you everyone for coming."
"A new era for Endora begins."
"I hope that ‘Burger Barn' will reflect on everyone."
"Our chain wants long-term relationships with our customers."
"Even though it's said to be in a recession, this town accepted us and welcomed us."
ーーーーーーーーーー
It's a good performance that gives the feeling that even in this town where nothing has changed, changes are starting to appear little by little.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"Fixed, trailer."
"We're leaving tomorrow."
Arnie:
"Come to my party tomorrow."
Becky:
"I'm invited."
Gilbert:
"Okay."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky said, fighting back tears.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"Do you want to keep me back?"
Gilbert:
"No, if you want to go, go."
Becky:
"So, is this goodbye?"
Gilbert:
"I have to go."
"Be careful"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert feigns indifference and suppresses his feelings.
Arnie hugged Becky.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"Goodbye, Arnie."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie, who hates taking baths ever since, runs away from Gilbert and runs around the room.
As older sister Amy was carrying the birthday cake, he bumped into her, causing the cake to fall to the floor and become a mess.
Amy cries that she will never make it again.
Gilbert makes up his mind and goes to a rival supermarket to buy a cake.
Unfortunately, Gilbert ran into the owner of the general store the moment he came out of the store, and things got awkward.
17.Sibling fight
Preparing for a birthday party with the whole family.
Their mother, Bonnie, refuses to go out in public.
Arnie appears with cream on his index finger and mouth.
Arnie ate the cake that he kept in the refrigerator.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Do you know how much I paid for that cake?"
"Take a bath."
"Go take a bath. Don't be silly and take off your clothes."
"Take off your clothes, come on!"
"Freeze"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie, who doesn't like it, is forced to take off his clothes.
Arnie pulled Gilbert's hair.
Gilbert becomes furious and punches Arnie over and over again.
Gilbert came to his senses and couldn't stay there anymore, so he drove to the outskirts of town in his emotional state.
Thinking about it now, the portrayal of Betty's husband's hysterical personality may have been a factor that caused Gilbert's repressed things to explode.
I think Gilbert needed to let out his pent-up emotions.
Arnie was so shocked when Gilbert hit him for the first time in his life that he ran away from home.
Sister Amy and sister Ellen drive to find Arnie.
Arnie came to Becky crying.
After calming down on the outskirts of town, Gilbert returns after sorting out his feelings.
Gilbert then stops by Becky's place.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"It's okay, don't be scared."
"Arnie, don't be scared."
Arnie:
"Let's sing a song"
Becky:
"See? You're okay, right?"
"That's great, you're not scary, are you?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie, who is afraid of water, jumps into the river with Becky's gentle guidance.
It must have been very painful for him to be hated by his beloved brother.
Arnie may have been desperate to have his brother stay by his side forever.
Gilbert, who was hiding behind a tree, smiled and felt relieved at the sight.
Arnie, who received strength from Becky, became completely healthy.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie:
"I drowned, right?"
Becky:
"Now it's clean."
ーーーーーーーーーー
There older sister Amy Came to pick me up.
Becky finds Gilbert hiding.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"I hit him."
"Take him seriously…"
Becky:
"Don't worry about it."
Gilbert:
"I can't believe I hit him…"
"I have to go home."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky gently hugged Gilbert.
18.Love and hate for father
Gilbert wanted to get into the camper and leave town with Becky.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"I can't go."
"I have to earn money for mom's food."
Becky:
"Is it your fault?"
Gilbert:
"Mom was in shock for years."
"My father suddenly disappeared one day without saying goodbye.''
"He was hanging himself in the basement."
"Mommy then…"
"She used to be beautiful"
"She was very beautiful."
"Merrily"
Becky:
"So, it’s your father’s fault?"
Gilbert:
"No."
"What was Dad thinking?"
"He've never shown any emotion."
"He has never played with children, and he doesn't smile or look happy, he doesn't get angry, and he has no expression on his face."
"It looked like it was dead from the beginning."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky laughed and said,
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"I know someone like that."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert laughs back.
Gilbert knows that he looks just like his father, Albert.
Gilbert hated his father who left them to die.
But at the same time, I think he loves his father.
The reason is that when he was told that he and his father looked alike, he didn't strongly deny it.
The other reason is that he didn't want to leave that house because it was a keepsake of his father, and it was his father himself.
So I think Gilbert unconsciously imitates his father's way of speaking and facial expressions.
I think Gilbert missed his father just like his mother.
When Gilbert was asked if his father should be blamed, he said no, I think it was because he still loved his father.
And he could change the environment in any way he wanted depending on his way of thinking.
I think it's because he realized that.
I think it's because he realized that if he had been able to face himself more head-on, he could have made his family happier.
I think it's because when he realized his own weaknesses, he was able to love his father and mother's weaknesses.
When he sees something bad about himself in another person, he hates that person.
This is because we see in the other person what we suppressed due to self-hatred and inferiority complexes.
I think when Becky and the general store owner told him that he looked exactly like his father, he was able to calm down and look at himself objectively.
When people realize what kind of person they are, they begin to accept themselves and revive themselves.
When things that have been unconsciously suppressed become consciously manifested, people become even stronger.
Gilbert and Becky spend the night together.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Today is Arnie's birthday."
"I have to go home."
ーーーーーーーーーー
19.Birthday parties that bring people together
There are many colorful balloons set up in the garden, and the guests are having fun talking and playing around.
The guest of honor, Arnie, also wore a tie and had fun.
The general store owner and his wife ask her older sister Amy if her mother is doing well.
When Gilbert came home, his young sister Ellen said sarcastically:
ーーーーーーーーーー
Young sister Ellen:
"Amy, we have a guest."
Tucker:
"What's going on, are you okay?"
Bobby:
"Are you alive?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie spots Gilbert, hangs his head for a moment, and then disappears.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Amy, where's Arnie?"
"Amy, tell me."
"How's he going?"
Old sister Amy:
"Why don’t you ask him?"
Gilbert:
"Where?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Older sister Amy was also angry with Gilbert.
However, Arnie climbs into the tree and begins playing hide and seek without Gilbert knowing.
Amy saw this and realized that he had forgiven Gilbert.
Then she laughs at Gilbert and says,
ーーーーーーーーーー
Amy:
"Where?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert smiles when he realizes that Amy is acting.
Gilbert made a troubled expression and yells loud enough for Arnie to hear.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Amy, where's Arnie?"
Old sister Amy:
"Weren't you together?"
Gilbert:
"No."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie was very happy and frolicked in the tree.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Arnie!"
"Has anyone seen Arnie?"
"Did you see my brother?"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie jumps down from the tree, surprising Gilbert.
After making eye contact, the two look away for a moment and remain silent.
Gilbert and Arnie hugged each other tightly.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Don't startle me."
"Don't startle me, understand?"
Arnie:
"I'm not surprised."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie pushed Gilbert down and lightly slapped him several times.
His sister Amy smiled nearby.
His young sister Ellen took pictures of them with her camera, and his mother Bonnie kept the curtains slightly open and watched them warmly.
Gilbert went to his mother Bonnie.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Mom"
Mother Bonnie:
"What?"
"Poor child."
"On top of that, you disappeared."
"Terrible child"
"A truly terrible child"
"I thought you left home?"
"And even you."
"But you came back."
"Why?"
"Why did you come back?"
Gilbert:
"I don't know."
ーーーーーーーーーー
In a space just the two of them, Gilbert snuggled up to his mother, Bonnie.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"But I'm back."
"I'm back."
Mother Bonnie:
"You're back to the party."
"Gilbert, I made you feel really bad."
"Have such a burdensome mother."
Gilbert:
"Stop it."
Mother Bonnie:
"It's true."
"You feel ashamed of your mother."
Gilbert:
"Mom…"
Mother Bonnie:
"I didn't mean for it to turn out like this."
"I don't intend to become a laughing stock."
Gilbert:
"No way…"
Mother Bonnie:
"That's not what I meant…"
Gilbert:
"You're no laughing stock."
Mother Bonnie:
"Gilbert, please don't just shut up and disappear."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Bonnie cried and hugged Gilbert tightly.
Becky brought a present to the party.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Listen, I want to match someone."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert was ashamed of his mother.
He accepted his fate, accepted both his hatred and love, and grew to the point where he could introduce his mother to Becky.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"Okay."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky is as important to Gilbert as his family.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Mom"
"There's someone I'd like to introduce…"
Mother Bonnie:
"I don't want to see anybody."
Gilbert:
"Please."
"For me"
Becky:
"Okay, next time."
Gilbert:
"I want to meet you."
"For me"
"She doesn't laugh."
"I'll never hurt Mommy again."
"Please…"
Mother Bonnie:
"Okay."
Gilbert:
"Becky"
"It's Becky."
Mother Bonnie:
"I've never been like this…"
Becky:
"I didn't used to be like this too."
ーーーーーーーーーー
The two both smiled.
20.Each farewell
It's time to say goodbye to Becky.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky:
"It was fun."
Gilbert:
"I know."
"What should I say?"
Arnie:
"Say 'thank you.'"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert and Becky wiped their tears and laughed at Arnie's words.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Thank you."
Arnie:
"Goodbye"
Becky:
"It's not 'goodbye'."
Arnie:
"Okay, good night."
"I'm not ready for bed yet."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky left in a light-filled camping trailer.
Bonnie musters up the courage to meet Becky for her son's sake.
Then she scrambled up the stairs to her second-floor bedroom.
I think she wanted to change for the sake of her family.
Mother Bonnie said to Gilbert.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Bonnie:
"You're a prince in shining armor."
"You are shining"
"It's shining brightly"
Gilbert:
"Rest and sleep."
ーーーーーーーーーー
After a while, Arnie went to his mother's bedroom.
However, her mother died quietly.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie:
"Mom"
"Mom! Mom! Wake up!"
"Are you hiding?"
"I know."
"Open your eyes!"
"Mom! Wake up!"
"Mommy, stop!"
"Mommy, stop!"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Realizing that she was dead, Arnie came down from the second floor crying, hit himself on the head, and ran wild in the garden.
The camera in that scene is filming Arnie gently from a distance.
This is a very thoughtful and gentle performance.
I can understand that the Director wants us to empathize with Arnie.
It is a sad yet beautiful scene surrounded by the setting sun.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"Maybe we need a crane."
Sister Ellen:
"People will gather."
"There were a lot of onlookers…"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert went into the basement, which he had never entered, and knocked down the pillars with all his strength.
I think Gilbert showed his emotions for the first time and cursed fate.
Gilbert poured out all the resentment he had suppressed against his father for his mother's sake on this house that his father had built.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Old sister Amy:
"She looks nice."
ーーーーーーーーーー
Amy smiled at her young sister Ellen.
21.Freedom and a new world
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"I won't make fun of her."
"I won't let her be laughed at."
"Arnie, you can help too."
ーーーーーーーーーー
The Grape family then decides to burn down their house along with their mother.
The entire family moved out the belongings, and Gilbert lit the match with family pride.
The family stood in the garden watching the house burn out.
It was the moment when they were released from the ghost that had consumed family.
They are now free.
Gilbert said to Arnie.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"From now on, you can go anywhere."
ーーーーーーーーーー
The following year, the two were waiting for the camping trailer to arrive, just like in the opening scene.
ーーーーーーーーーー
Arnie:
"Gilbert, that?"
Gilbert:
"Not yet. Wait a little longer."
Arnie:
"When is she coming?"
Gilbert:
"She'll be right there, just wait a little longer."
Arnie:
"Gilbert, look."
In Gilbert's mind:
"Arnie is turning 19."
"19 years old."
"Older sister Amy is the manager of the town's bakery."
"Young sister Eren also transferred schools together."
"Arnie said, 'Where are we going?' ."
"I said, 'Anywhere.'"
Arnie:
"Becky!"
"Becky is coming."
Gilbert:
"Yes, we'll see her soon."
Arnie:
"Becky!"
"Gilbert, let's go get her!"
ーーーーーーーーーー
Becky sticks her head out the window and waves with a nostalgic smile.
Becky's hair was a little longer.
Gilbert and Arnie then pile into Becky's camping trailer and set off on their journey.
22.Conclusion
This work is a story of the growth of second son Gilbert's mind.
I liked how the two houses contrasted well.
One is a well-built camping trailer that is free and sparkling.
The other is an old house with a rusty roof and decaying wooden pillars that looks like it's going to collapse at any moment, making it look like a dark cave.
It can be read as both the future and the past.
It seems like hope and reality.
It can be associated with many things, such as movement and stillness, light and heavy, flow and stagnation.
Gilbert looked at his house from a distance and said,
ーーーーーーーーーー
Gilbert:
"I was surprised at how small it looks from far away."
ーーーーーーーーーー
It must have been a huge responsibility that Gilbert had been carrying since he was little.
When he suddenly relaxed, he realized that it was a small house.
The second son should feed his mother.
Shouldn't make his mother any more sad.
Shouldn't let his mother be a laughing stock.
Should raise his little sister into a fine adult.
Shouldn't put a burden on his sister either.
Should take care of his younger brother for the rest of his life.
Shouldn't let his young brother cause trouble to the people around him.
All these responsibilities still rested on the back of a young man, Gilbert.
What's great is that the people around him sense Gilbert's personality and are kind to help him.
Perhaps some people are trying to repay Gilbert's father Albert.
Looking back, none of the characters were evil.
It was a heartwarming and beautiful piece of work.
This is a movie that will make you laugh while crying.

What do you associate with it?
I think movies are a mirror that reflects yourself.
Even when looking at something, different people perceive it differently.
I think movies have a healing effect that is unique to you.
When I see apple pie, I think of my mother. (in my heart)
When I see a fishing rod, I think of my father.
When I see a blue mechanical pencil, I think of my lover.
Looking at the railroad tracks reminds me of a 2nd grade elementary school student.
I think these items can be woven into one story and take you on a journey into the past.
You can relive past joys, sadness, loneliness, jealousy, envy, comfort, etc.
You can then look at yourself from a bird's-eye perspective, compare yourself with your current self, and make good plans for the future.
You may also laugh at how small your current troubles are.
You can empathize not only with yourself, but with the feelings of your parents who are older than you, and the feelings of your friends and partners who are of a different gender.
You may be able to gradually sort out your feelings and come to a better conclusion.
This time, in particular, the role of such a movie is fully expressed.
I would appreciate it if you could watch it if you like.
It's a film about DiCaprio, Johnny Depp, and Juliette Lewis, who later became big stars, in their youth, so it's well worth watching just for them.
See you next time.
Good bye.

"I'm happy that you made it out too." Alice assures with a smile. It hurt to know how much they had lost. She had lost her little brother Jeremy and Arnie who had been the love of her life. They had both lost Cindy who while being a thorn in Alice's side at times had still been her dearest friend. She missed them all so much she mourned the life that they all should have had. She had even grown to miss Tommy which was big for her since a part of her had always wanted to blame him for what happened. She wanted this to all be over but she knew it as going to happen again which was why she was here.
She reaches into her wallet and takes out a folded up picture. "His name is Riley my uh my kid. He looks just like Arnie it's kind of freaky how similar they are looks wise. Good kid he is on his school's lacrosse team and he wants to go to some big fancy college. The people that adopted him are great I'm really lucky. It's uh- it's nice to know he didn't have to go through the same shit we did." She looks at Ziggy. "It just made me realize that all this stuff here... I don't want it to happen to someone else's kid. I just- I wonder if it's gonna happen again and if we can stop it." She admits.

Alice’s exaggeration was enough to earn her a derisive snort from the petite redhead. Her sister had only been about seventeen months older than her. By the time Cindy and Alice had met, all three of them had been well out of diapers. But it was true that many of her childhood memories featured the other woman, and the redhead’s face softened slightly at the reminder that she wasn’t dealing with some random woman off the street.
Alice may have been all but a stranger to her now, but the women they became still shared echoes of the girls they had been. It may have been years, but the brunette still rambled the same way. A fact that further cemented the fondness she felt, and Ziggy instinctively let her hand drift downwards to rest on the slight swell of her stomach as she listened. “I’m glad you made it out,” she said quietly when she finally managed to get a word in edgewise. Part of her wished it had been Cindy who did instead, but she knew her sister would have rather had things unfold as they did - if only for the sake of the child Alice had been carrying at the time. “And I’m so proud of you for getting it together. My sister would have been too, if she were here,” Ziggy added kindly. “I actually named my eldest girl after her, you know. Her name is Cynthia Rose, and sometimes I swear she’s Cindy all over again.”

Apologies if this has been asked for a prompt, but how about one where they discover the real origins of the curse (like how they do in the last one) but in 1978 so they’re able to save Tommy? Can we also pretend it’s early on so he doesn’t end up killing anybody A very dramatic yet happy ending as Cindy ends up living but obvi the reader and Tommy are together and they get their own 70s version of “burgers and the pixies” :)
Hello :)) I love this prompt and this is also technically a semi-sequel to "are you in there?" where basically they tie him up and Cindy and Alice do what they need to in order to break the curse :)
Pizza and Aerosmith (Tommy Slater x Reader)
Warnings: major character death, blood mention/described, axe violence mentioned, devil shit mentioned, cursing, betrayal, attempted violence, minor angst, kissing, not proof read sorry
Word Count: 4.9k
"Her body wasn't there!" Alice yelled, throwing down her trowel and her walkie talkie. They'd told you about ten minutes before that they were heading back to the cabin, and you'd expected them to be carrying a bag of bones in tow. You and Arnie's heads snapped to her and Cindy, and your mouth fell open for a minute as you tried to think of what to say. Of what to do.
That night, your boyfriend had been possessed. If it had been six hours ago, you wouldn't have believed it yourself. But, after the four of you had found his name carved into solid stone and he nearly went for an axe to chop up Arnie, it was hard to deny.
You'd dragged him to your cabin. You weren't supposed to be supervising color war, so there was no reason anyone should've come to get you. And, well, you couldn't exactly let your boyfriend near anyone. You'd had to tie him up and leave him on your bed, where he continuously squirmed and tried to harm pretty much anyone within a certain distance to him. That alone made you positive that this wasn't your Tommy.
"Well, what do you mean it wasn't there?" Arnie asked as he stood up. They were talking, explaining, too fast for you to catch up. The body was there. The body wasn't there.
"Maybe you dug in the wrong place." You said, trying to be hopeful, and Cindy proceeded to lift up a rock. Written on it was, The witch forever lives. Shit, alright. Maybe they didn't dig in the wrong place.
But, that left the four of you in a deep pile of shit. What were you supposed to do? How would you find Sarah Fiers body? It had been over three hundred years, and Nurse Lanes diary was about the only insight you had! You sat on the bed, ignoring Tommy's jerking and grunts. You reached out to place a hand on his arm as you stared at the wall across from you.
You'd promised him you'd get him free of this. That the four of you would do what you needed to in order to help him. Alice and Arnie had already suggested- You weren't even going to think about it. You didn't care if finding the body sounded impossible. You'd successfully found the hand, and not even Nurse Lane had been able to do that. You could all find her body too. You went over everything you knew of the curse in your mind, and interrupted whatever fight Alice and Cindy were having to say,
"The blood." And they both turned. You looked up, at the three of them. "The blood. Blood falls whenever Sarah Fier is near. We just have to walk around camp and wait-"
"Wait until one of us gets a nosebleed? Are you serious?" Alice interrupted, and Arnie was quick to join in.
"That could take all night!" Arnie said, and you gave each of them a look. It was better than their idea. And, even if Arnie and Alice did seem particularly cynical about everything, for a second- Just for a second you'd seen how much they wanted to end this. For Tommy, for Shadyside. And there was really only one way to make this go faster.
"It wouldn't if you had more help."
***
At first, they'd thought just you and Arnie, but your plan stretched farther than that. It was why Joan, Gary, Ziggy, and, to all of your surprise, Nick Goode, stood in your cabin, staring at the tied up form of your boyfriend.
"Y'know, when Joan and I were talking about the curse earlier, we were just messing with you guys." Gary said, and part of your stomach sank when Joan agreed with,
"Yeah, this is way trippy." You knew it was going to be hard to convince them. You knew it was a long shot in total darkness but what else could you do?
"We know this sounds crazy," Cindy started, and you were happy she was the one taking over. Out of all of you, she was the one that would never play a prank like this. And if she believed it- Well. "We can even show you what we found, but we have to do it quick. Tommy- From what we know, he doesn't have a lot of time and-"
"I believe you." Nick interrupted, and you watched as Ziggy was quick to turn to him.
"What?" She quickly asked, an incredulous look on her face. And, while the sisters were as different as could be, you could see the resemblance between them when it came to their skepticism. Nick looked at her, even reached out to place a hand on her arm.
"Look at him, Ziggy. That's- That's Tommy Slater. He couldn't even kill the rat they found in the kitchen earlier in the month and now he's-" He glanced over at him just as Tommy let out a particularly hard thrash, and you tried to calm him. You shushed him, pushing his hair out of his face. His forehead was sweaty from all his exertion, his arms straining against the rope. Having more people in the room seemed to aggravate him more, and you watched as his teeth bit the gag in his mouth. "And Nurse Lane attacking him? Really, is it so hard to believe that it's all connected? That it's all..." He didn't need to finish for you to know where he was going, but he did anyways. "Sarah Fier?" For a moment, you nearly swore that you wanted to hug the kid. You glanced back over, watching as Ziggy looked between you and Tommy.
You'd never been close to her. Sure, you were friends with her sister, but, from what you'd heard from Cindy, they were hardly close either. But, you gave her a tilt of your head and you watched as she let out a small sigh and a roll of her eyes.
"What do you even need us to do?"
***
Cindy and Alice were going to take them to see what they'd found, to convince those that still needed an extra push, and then go find the body of Sarah Fier. You'd explained to them that at least two people needed to watch Tommy at all times, and that's when Nick Goode surprised you again.
"I can stay with him." He offered, and you'd given him a confused look. You and Arnie quickly shared a glance. The two of you had been watching Tommy all night, had an unspoken bond, a similar one to the one Cindy and Alice were building, already. "Arnie can go with his girlfriend and I can stay here." And you didn't miss the glance he sent towards Cindy. She'd been glaring at him the second he seemed just a little too familiar with her sister. You supposed he didn't want to spend the rest of the night caught in her group, and, well, part of you couldn't blame him. Especially when she quickly agreed. While the groups got ready to part ways, Arnie quietly asked you,
"You okay with this?" And you bit your lip for a moment. You should be. The Nick kid, while you didn't know him well, was always the nicest out of the Sunnyvale counselors. And, well, he was the only one that actually believed you. Completely believed you. And you knew that if you were in Arnie's shoes, you'd want to tag along with Alice. Really, you couldn't think of a reason to say no. So, why did you have a pit in your stomach?
"Yeah, sure. Just- Get this over with quick, okay?" You asked him, and he gave you a nod and a smile. He held out his hand for a fist bump, and you gave him one. Last second, you handed him the second walkie talkie that you'd given to Alice before, and quietly told him, "Keep it on, okay?" And, while his eyes had been confused, he'd given you a nod.
You'd been trying to conserve the batteries all night, but, with the pit in your stomach, you didn't want to take any chances.
***
Cindy, Alice, and Arnie took the others to see the room they'd found. That alone was enough proof the show that they weren't fucking around. That this wasn't some sort of sick prank. Though, as they walked out of the room, Ziggy still had questions,
"Well, yeah- I get this being a curse and all, but who lit the candle? Who wrote his name?" And Joan was quick to add,
"Yeah, like, you guys were with Tommy all day so it's not like he wrote himself." And the three of them paused. They'd been so caught up in trying to break the curse, in trying to save Tommy, that they hadn't really thought about who'd doomed him in the first place.
"This is so weird. And why Tommy? Tommys- Tommy. Why would someone choose him?" Gary asked, and the three of them were stumped. Tommy wasn't a jerk that made enemies with a lot of people. He was nice to everyone, even those that weren't nice to him. And why would they choose a camp counselor? Didn't they know that he'd be surrounded by children?
"I- We don't know." Cindy said, and the six of them walked through the little storage room. Cindy shined her flashlight in front of her as she thought, wondering just who would choose Tommy Slater to be the next Shadyside Killer. Cindy couldn't stop thinking about it even as they broke off in pairs and started looking for the body.
As she walked with her sister, she glanced over at Arnie and Alice, who were heading a different direction. She watched as he played with the walkie talkie in his hands, and, for a moment, she had a small sinking feeling in her chest before she pushed on.
***
At least with Arnie, you kind of knew what to talk to him about. You were at least sort of friends, since both of you were Shadyside counselors. You could talk about how stupid color war was, about the places back in town. Arnie had even asked you a few questions about Tommy, which you'd been happy to answer.
But Nick? You'd thanked him for staying, and then the pair of you sat in silence as you tried to keep Tommy calm. Gently, you pat him with a wet washcloth to try to cool down his fever. You tried not to think about what Nurse Lane had said as you did. One way or another, you're gonna die tonight. You wondered what would happen if he continued to resist the curse, and your heart tightened at the idea. You shook your head. You weren't going to let that happen. The others had been gone for awhile, almost two hours, so they were due to check back sooner rather than later. Hopefully, one of the groups would have good news. You ran the wash cloth over his cheeks as you said,
"After this, we're gonna get pizza and listen to Aerosmith all night. Watch a few movies, maybe. You like the sound of that?" You asked, even if he couldn't respond. Even if the only thing he sent you was a nasty glare. With a sigh, you wished for the moments where he'd look at you like you put the sun in the sky.
You turned around when you heard something fall, and you stared in confusion as you watched Nick reach for Tommy's bat. He'd left it here once, and you'd put the axe he'd gotten from that room right besides it. You stood when you watched him grip it.
"Nick?" You asked, and you watched as he turned around. He had a smile on his face, the same charming smile he'd given Ziggy, but the pit in your stomach returned. You glanced down at the bat, just as he started to explain,
"Oh, y'know- In case, he gets free." He said, and you glanced down at the way he was holding it again. The way his hands changed grip. You didn't like what he was implying, first of all. You didn't want to hurt Tommy, you wanted to help him. That was the point of all this. You'd lived in Shadyside all your life, and maybe that gave you a better bullshit detector than most. Or, maybe, part of you had become so used to things going to shit that now you could smell it. Quietly, you said,
"He won't get free." And you shuffled your feet. You stood in front of him almost defensively, but, part of you didn't think it was Tommy you needed to protect. He gave you a smile and a shrug, and then you glanced over at the walkie talkie you'd put on your desk. The second you did, the second your eyes left him, Nick moved. You didn't know what was happening, not truly, but you knew that it was bad. You snatched the walkie talkie and ducked out of the way of his swing. You turned it on as you hauled ass to the bathroom, side-stepping him as he tried to grab you, and slammed your back against the bathroom door to keep it shut as you fumbled with the lock. You heard him banging on the door, heard the knob moving as he tried to get it open, and then he stopped. It sent a chill up your spine to hear silence on the other side. Finally, you pulled up the antenna, pressed the button, and yelled into the walkie talkie,
***
"Code red! Code red!" Came screaming out in your voice from the walkie talkie so loud that Arnie swore he almost jumped a mile. He was quick to answer with a shout of your name, and a,
"What's going on? What's wrong?" And Alice backtracked from where she walked in front. They could hear the panic in your voice as you yelled back,
"Arnie! Thank god! Come back to the cabin right now it's-" And the line went dead. You must've taken your hand off of the button, and the silence sent a chill up both of their backs. The only thing they could hear was the sound of crickets and wind. They hadn't even stumbled across a camper yet, and the woods felt empty and ready to swallow the pair of them.
Alice and Arnie stared at eachother for a moment. They'd been walking aimlessly, the maps Cindy had made up in their hands. A second of unspoken words passed between them, and then they were both sprinting back towards your cabin.
***
When Ziggy stepped on the red moss, she made a noise of disgust and lifted her foot. It has stained her shoes, and she quickly asked,
"Ugh, what is this stuff?" And Cindy looked up from her map. She'd carefully given each pair a third of the camp to search over. With two people to comb through each section, they should've been able to find it at least within the night. They were supposed to check back She looked around at the red moss, recognizing it as the same moss from the outhouse. From the caves under the outhouse. She glanced around, looking where it grew.
"Holy shit." She said, and quickly walked towards the rock. She looked around, and her sister arched a brow at her. In disbelief, she asked,
"Did you just swear?" And Cindy quickly waved her off. She was spinning around, quickly stepping through the moss with a big smile on her face. She probably looked insane, but Cindy didn't care. They'd needed another sign, another thing to look for. She felt stupid for not thinking of it sooner.
"The moss!" But Ziggy gave a small shake of her head. She didn't understand. Cindy pulled the hand out of her bag and held it up. She pointed at it as she said, "We found this in the red moss. This," She said pointing around. "Might be apart of the curse!" And Ziggy's eyes widened in understanding. Quickly, she echoed,
"Holy shit!" And the pair of them were quick to start looking. It only took a second for them to each get on their knees and start searching through the moss. It only took a few minutes for Ziggy to feel warmth dripping down out of her nose, and she swore she'd never been so happy to get a nosebleed ever in her life. Quickly, she called, "Over here!" And Cindy scrambled over. They started searching through the spot, and when they finally dusted the dirt off to find a ribcage, they were both so happy they could nearly scream. They cleaned it off further, completely unearthing the body of Sarah Fier. And, finally, Cindy held the hand in both of hers and gave Ziggy a look. This was it. Ziggy reached out, and together they out the hand back with the rest of Sarah Fier.
***
Arnie practically ripped your screen door off it's hinges as they ran into your cabin. He wasn't thinking clearly, wasn't thinking about what he was doing. All he knew was that you sounded like you were in trouble and now-
He ran into Nick. The brunette grabbed him by the arms, and looked scared out of his wits. The words were leaving his lips so fast that Arnie almost didn't have time to process.
"I thought I heard something outside so I went- I went to see if it was one of you and then I heard screaming and now-" And Arnie cut him off.
"Where's Tommy? Where's y/n?" He demanded, and Alice was right behind him now. She gasped when she saw the mess of the bathroom door. It had been axed nearly in half, before being pushed open. She was quick to run towards it, and Arnie pushed Nick away from him to the same. There was a mess of wood over the floor, but there was no blood. And, when they spotted the open window, a glimmer of hope went through both of them.
You were resourceful and smart. Of course you'd gone through the window. It dimmed a bit however when they saw the broken walkie talkie. Alice picked it up. The antenna was barely hanging off of it and the body looked crushed, stomped on. Getting in contact with you was now near impossible, but they had hope that you were still out there. Arnie turned back to watch as Nick paced, seeming to lose his mind over what had happened. He looked like a ball of nerves, and Arnie could understand why. He'd been gone for one minute and everything had gone to shit. Though, as Arnie looked back at Alice, he saw something there. She narrowed her eyes at him for a moment, and Arnie wasn't surprised when she asked,
"Did you look for them? Do you know what direction they went?" And, when Nick shook his head, his story started to make a little less sense. The pair of them shared a look, and they had a brief moment of silent communication. How did Nick come back when he heard screaming and not see where Tommy went? Axing down a door didn't take a matter of seconds, it took minutes. And you sure as hell wouldn't have started screaming just before Tommy got the door open. So, the real question was, how did Nick miss you? The couple glanced over at Nick, but didn't say a word. Instead, Arnie asked him,
"So what do we do?" And they were relieved that at least his first idea was to get all the campers out of there.
***
Your thighs burned as you hid. Outrunning Tommy simply wasn't an option, but your mind was on hyperdrive as you tried to process the last five minutes of your life. Nick Goode was a dick. Whatever he'd been trying to achieve, it had ended up with Tommy getting loose. You thought maybe he was going to do what Alice had suggested at the very beginning of the night. Take care of Tommy to make sure no one else got hurt. Instead, now, you were trying to keep yourself from getting axed by your very own boyfriend. Not to mention, you were trying to keep him away from the direction of the kids. Sure, yes, you were hiding and running from him. But, you were also making sure that you were the one he stayed in pursuit of. It was a fragile balance, and you glanced around before you stood up to find a new hiding place.
You nearly screamed when you ran into someone, but you quickly ripped Ziggy and Cindy down behind a bush. The words left your mouth in a quick whisper as you started,
"Guys, I have so much to tell you. Nick Goode-" But Ziggy was finishing your sentence.
"Is a total douche." Her voice was laced with venom, and she sounded pissed. Betrayed, even. And you gave them each a confused look. You looked between them and asked,
"You know?" Your surprise was laced in your voice. How did they know? How could they know? But, Cindy was quick to explain.
"When we put the hand back with her body, we saw the truth."
"We saw everything." Ziggy added, and you looked back to Cindy when she continued,
"The Goode family is the reason for the curse. They made a deal with the devil, so Sunnyvale could prosper and they've been feeding him Shadyside blood!" And you stared at them. Really, hours ago, you would've thought they were both on drugs. But now? After watching your boyfriend get possessed, finding a creepy bone hand, and getting almost fed to your possessed boyfriend by the Sheriff's son? You'd believe Santa was real.
"Nick Goode just completely fucked everything up, and now Tommy's loose." You whispered, and their eyes widened. The three of you looked between eachother, and then around. You couldn't see anything in the dark, but you felt like an ant trapped under a magnifying glass as Ziggy whispered what you were all thinking,
"Shit." And you gave her a nod. Now that you were thinking about it, you had no idea if Nick even knew. He'd tried to kill your boyfriend to save everyone, and it turns out his family was the reason for the curse? God, how the hell were you going to explain that? You gripped each of them as Cindy continued again,
"But that's not the worst of it." She said, and you gave her a confused look. What could be worse than all of this? Nothing could've prepared you for the words she said. "Nick Goode picked Tommy. He's the reason Tommy's possessed." And you felt white hot anger replace every ounce of your fear.
***
When Arnie and Alice watched Ruby Lane climb out of the grate in the middle of the kitchen, more of a black sludge becoming the figure of the dead serial killer, they thought tonight couldn't have gotten any weirder. The only way to make it worse was that Nick had run out of the room, and Arnie had to knock his shoulder against the door to stop him from locking it behind him. They had already guessed that he was a back-stabbing little bitch, especially when they had to force him to stay to wait for the rest of you instead of getting on the bus with the campers, but this? Oh, they were going to kill him if they got out of this alive.
When she started to walk towards them, they were quick to head towards the door, only to watch as you, Cindy, and Ziggy ran inside. And guess who was only a few feet behind you? Tommy.
"Shit!" Alice said as they slammed the door closed, and they quickly did their best to stop him from pushing it open and getting inside. But, to their surprise, they watched as you practically snarled,
"You." At the brunette. You ran, tackling him to the ground before he could try to escape. Even if the crazy bitch from the sixties was quick to come out of the kitchen and you had to roll off of him before she slashed you with a razor. You dodged the milkman as Nick tried to run, as the killers quickly turned on Ziggy and Cindy. You knew, to some degree, you were the best person, one of the only people, that could go after him. You'd seen it when you ran from Tommy. He'd specifically tried to go after them, completely ignoring a prime opportunity to swing at you when you tripped on the way over. Because of whatever the Berman's had seen, it was like they had a target on their back. And you had a pretty good idea as to how you were supposed to end all of it.
"Watch out!" Ziggy yelled as you tried to get away from who you quickly realized was Ruby Lane, and as a man in a jumpsuit with a knife tried to slash Cindy. Cindy threw you her shovel, even as she dodged and ran from the man. She yelled,
"Don't let him get away!" And you knew what you had to do. You ran after him, seeing that he was climbing down into the hole below. He looked up just as you went to swing, and, you watched him panic. You watched as he lost whatever grip he had, as he fell into the hole rather than climbed down. You were about to climb down after him, about to make sure this was finished. Instead, you heard- a laugh?
You and the rest of your friends stood above the hole in the kitchen, staring down at it. The killers had disappeared, gone in a poof. The kids were safe on the bus, already heading back to town. And Nick Goode was dead. When he fell, he must've hit his head. Broken his neck. It was a quick death, one that could've happened to anyone. If anything, it could be labelled an accident.
"Should we check?" Alice asked, and the five of you looked between eachother, and then down at the hole. It was tempting. To see the body of the man that had done something so evil lay lifeless. It was Cindy that answered her.
"Nah, just let him rot down there." And, ultimately, you agreed. Arnie reached to close the grate, sliding it in place. The five of you nearly jumped out of your skin when Gary and Joan barged in the kitchen door, and paused when they saw you all standing around it.
"Why's Tommy knocked out outside?" Gary said, pointing with his thumb, and you gave him a smile as the others started to laugh out of relief.
***
You and Tommy sat on the rock in the middle of the woods. It was the one Cindy had labelled on your map. You'd gotten a large pie of pizza, and his little radio was blasting Aerosmith as you enjoyed the summer afternoon.
The camp had closed, and the News ran with the story. An axe murderer had wandered onto the camp grounds of Camp Nightwing, but, due to the heroism of it's counselors, not a single camper had been hurt. Tommy Slater, in particular, was famed for having distracted and fought the killer long enough to let the campers escape, to the point where certain counselors had at first thought he was to blame. And, when the police asked the only eye-witnesses to the crime, all of them had said one name.
Nick Goode.
It wasn't until a week later that anyone had found the body of Nick Goode in the caves, and the police hadn't known what to make of the discovery. With eight eye-witnesses and a cave full of occult shit, it was hard to cover up or deny. So, now, the News circled with the story of Nick Goode, the first Sunnyvale Killer.
Tommy handed you a bag of fries as the pair of you ate, and you smiled as you looked over at him. In the sunlight, the copper in his hair shined and his eyes practically glowed. The look in his eyes had returned, the one that he gave you. The one where he looked at you like you put the sun in the sky.
"So, this is her, huh?" Tommy said, pointing with his foot at the red moss. You nodded, taking another bite.
"Yeah, she saved us." You said, a small smile on your face. You wanted to visit for that exact reason. To silently tell her thanks, and to meet the girl that saved your lives. Tommy knocked his shoulder against yours, and you looked up at him.
"No," He said with a small shake of his head. "You saved me. You never gave up on me." He said, and your eyes softened. You looked at him, leaning in as he pressed a kiss to your forehead. "I heard you, y'know. Fighting for me. And I'm sorry I-"
"No, don't apologize." You told him quickly, reaching out to hold his hand. "That wasn't you." You told him, and you watched how the words made him tilt his head. How they soothed whatever ache he still had in him. Whatever regrets. You knew he was hard on himself, that part of him probably blamed himself for giving in. For what he could've done. Softly, you added, "Did you hear all the times I told you I loved you?" And you watched how he smiled, how the clouds of his regret seemed to fade. He gave you a small nod, and you smiled back. He leaned in to kiss you, and you met him halfway.

THANKS FOR THE TAG ARNIE! I AM BOTH GLAD AND TERRIFIED TO SEE THAT ORPHEUS SEEMS TO BE CAUGHT IN A HORRIBLE SITUATION
Fedya stands at attention, his skull pounding with thousands of questions and arguments and refutes, each more brusque and strongly worded than the last. However, in a miraculous turn of events, he manages to keep his mouth shut and consequently his barbed tongue out of sight. Anatole should be here, he thinks, and Anatole should be the one to blame for this disastrous excuse of a caper, but his cocky, rakish self is nowhere to be seen.
“You’re lucky Prince Vassily involved himself,” his commander says, shaking his head. “He insisted that this… incident be hushed up, but you know what they say, Dolokhov; rumours out here spread like fire in a silo, don’t they?”
tagging @threadcutters and literally anyone just. Show Me Your Wips
Rules: Write the latest line from your wip (or post where you last left off in your art) and tag as many people as there are words in the line. Make a new post, don’t reblog.
For once, I was actually caught when my last line was something interesting :D Thank you @impossiblepluto!
Though the illusion is shattered quickly after, because the next words out of Bozers mouth are, “Did you- are you remembering it?”
I have no idea who’s already been tagged at this point but @lord-owlsnake @saplesss-tree, @refinedbuffoonery, @melnonny, @bold-and-nosy, @lailuhhh, @thesammykinz and anyone else because I can’t count nor think of anyone else

But Who Could Love Me? (Rimmer x Reader) - Chapter 19
Warnings: little tense towards the end
Summary: Basically giving Rimmer the love he deserves :p
You had been staring into the bottom of your mug for what felt like hours, only being brought out of your dissociative state by the hands resting gently on your shoulders. In reality about 10 minutes had past and Rimmer, having woken up when you left not much earlier, had come to look for you.
“Hey what are you doing up?” He spoke softly in your ear as he sat down in the chair next to you.
“Can’t sleep” You muttered, eyes still on the cup in your hands.
“I know that look, what’s going on?” Rimmer kept his voice soft and quiet.
“Ah don’t worry about it I’ll be fine” You tried to smile but you knew he’d see straight through it.
“What’s going on in that noggin’ of yours?” Rimmer smiled sweetly.
“I’ll be fine!” You sighed as Rimmer looked at you worried.
“Alright ok” Rimmer muttered “Is there anything I can do to help?”
“You don’t have to worry about me Arnie I’ll be alright” You tried once more to shoo him off.
“Of course I have to worry about you darling” Rimmer looked at you a little sad “I love you don’t I?”
You let out a little laugh with a small smile, of course he was going to worry about you, you were faced with a bad event you knew absolutely nothing about, an event that had caused you multiple panic attacks and almost put another crew member at risk but most of all he loved you.
“Are you sure there’s nothing I can do?” Rimmer asked again, feeling lost and clueless not knowing how to help you “At least come back to bed?”
“I won’t be able to sleep, I can’t do anything while not knowing what’s going to happen on that ship tomorrow” You finally broke, your eyes tearing up.
“I knew I’d get it out of you eventually” Rimmer smiled as he stood up, holding your hands for you to follow “Come here”
“I’m scared” You mumbled against his chest as he held you tightly in his arms.
“I don’t blame, I would be ...infact I am” Rimmer replied, placing a kiss to the top of your head.
“You’re always scared” You teased with a sniff as you felt Rimmer chuckle against you.
“I’ll pretend I didn’t hear that” Rimmer smiled “You’re not going through this alone, I’ll be right beside you every step of the way ...no matter how scared I get”
“I know you will” You let out a quiet laugh.
“And so will the boys, Lister, Kryten and even Cat” Rimmer reminded you “Sure we might not be the best crew but there’s not a lot of options when you’re 3 million years into deep space”
“I wouldn’t change my crew for the world, especially you” You looked up at Rimmer with a smile, you eyes a little red and your cheeks tear stained.
“Come on let’s go back to bed” Rimmer smiled as you furrowed your brows.
“I told you I can’t sleep” You frowned.
“I didn’t say you had to go to sleep?” Rimmer looked down at you “I want you to at least rest”
You sighed with a smile as you let Rimmer take you back to bed, you were still absolutely terrified but knowing Rimmer will always be beside you made it that little bit easier and if Lister was to hear you say that you’d be sent straight to Kryten for a full medical to make sure you hadn’t gone completely insane. Rimmer still kept his walls high but you had knocked down a few layers and you were now warm and safe inside.
“So what do you think we’ll find on this ship then?” Rimmer asked as you snuggled into his side, his arm around you, his fingertips running up and down your spine “I hope it’s aliens”
“Oh here we go” You teased as you felt his fingers squeeze your side “You would hope for aliens!”
“Well there’s no excitement in hoping for something predictable?” Rimmer chuckled, not a single cafe in the world about you winding him up over his crazy hopes and dreams.
“Ok I’ll give you that” You smiled as you looked up at him “You should get some sleep?”
“I’ll be fine, I want to stay up with you” Rimmer replied as he gently placed kiss to your forehead, his thumb rubbing your shoulder “I don’t want you up all night on your own worrying”
“Awh aren’t you sweet?” You teased again as he chuckled.
“You’re the only one I’d ever do this for you know that right?” Rimmer smiled as you snuggled into him more.
“I know, thank you for letting me in” You mumbled as he went back to running his fingertips up and down your back.
“Anything for you darling” Rimmer spoke softly and sweetly in your ear as you smiled.
After a couple more hours spent talking the two of you fell asleep ...much to your disappointment of being woken up by Kryten doing his round.
“Morning sir, morning ma’am!” Kryten sang cheerfully.
“Kryten bog off” You grumbled earning a sleepy chuckle from Rimmer as you still lay in the same position you fell asleep in.
“Are you going to get Lister and Cat up? Or should I do it?” Rimmer yawned as he sat up.
“It’s up to you sir!” Kryten shrugged.
“I’ll do it then, it’ll be a laugh!” Rimmer got up to get ready as you sat up “Are you coming?”
“What? And miss it all? Of course I’m coming!” You smiled as you stretched.
Rimmer had briefly considered running into the room the boys were sleeping in screaming at the top of his lungs but he figured he’d be somewhat nice about waking them up. Still he went in shouting, reminding them that he was an officer and they couldn’t ignore him or his orders, even if they tried he wasn’t leaving.
“You’re such a smeghead Rimmer” Lister grumbled as he finally made it to the cockpit.
“Takes one to know one Listy!” Rimmer smirked as you shook your head with a laugh “What?”
“That comeback was awful, even for you!” You smiled as he screwed his nose up at you.
“Right everyone’s here, let’s go!” Rimmer ordered as the boys took Starbug out of the asteroid and to the time hole.
“Everyone armed and ready?” You asked as you flung your bazookoid gun over your shoulder.
“I think so” Lister looked everyone over.
“Are you ready?” Rimmer spoke quietly to you.
“As ready as I’ll ever be” You smiled before walking off ahead “Come on let’s go!”
You were being bold and brave now but you knew that could very quickly change, you didn’t know what lay ahead and you could never be ready to find out what terrible thing happened to you on this ship but you had Rimmer and the rest of the crew by your side and that gave you a little comfort.
“What is this ship Krytes?” Lister asked.
“The SS Pandora!” You grumbled a little.
“Pretty sure I asked Kryten?” Lister mumbled under his breath.
“Lister shut up!” Rimmer growled as you all walked slowly around the ship.
“It’s Miss Y/N’s old ship sir!” Kryten filled him in.
“Ah!” Lister looked over at you sheepishly.
“What are we looking for anyway?” Cat added his 2 cents to the conversation.
“We don’t know yet” You were more focused on the corridor in front of you than the chit chat going on between your crew mates “Maybe we should split up, Lister and Cat you take left, we’ll take right”
The SS Pandora was relatively small in comparison to the Dwarf and it didn’t take long for you all to find each other again. You had checked all the rooms on board except one that was locked from the inside.
“I’m gonna have to switch to soft light so I can walk through the door and open it” You sighed as you prepared yourself.
“Yes Ma’am” Kryten nodded as he held the small keypad that could switch both you and Rimmer between light modes.
“Wait, let me do it!” Rimmer looked at you, worry in his eyes.
“I’ll be fine Arnie” You smiled even though you knew he could see straight through it.
“We don’t know what’s on the other side of that door and you’re too much of a target!” Rimmer rambled in panic “Please let me do it!”
“Since when did you become brave?” Lister couldn’t help but make a comment.
“Alright fine” You smiled, Rimmer’s willingness to take a risk to keep you safe made your heart flutter.
“Right let’s do this!” Rimmer took a deep breath as Kryten gave him a nod before pressing the button, watching him as his uniform changed from blue to red with a wiggle before stepping through the door.
“Anything?” Lister shouted.
“Not really!” Rimmer replied as you felt the presence of another being behind you, your hard light body becoming tense and rigid.
Before you could scream for the others, a hand was slapped across your mouth as you were dragged alway.
“Y/N?” Lister shouted as he turned to notice you had gone.
“Well that was a bust” Rimmer grumbled as he opened the door “What?”
The other 3 stood and stared at the spot where you were standing as Rimmer noticed you were no longer with them.
“Are you telling not one of you thought to keep an eye on her?” Rimmer growled before storming off ahead.
“We searched the entire ship and didn’t find anyone, how can Y/N have been taken?” Lister tried to catch up with Rimmer.
“You were supposed to be watching her therefore your fault!” Rimmer grumbled, although he was holding the others responsible for you being taken he was really blaming himself, maybe if he had let you shift light and go through the door you’d still be with him, had he just been his usual cowardly self instead of being brave maybe you wouldn’t have been taken.
As the rest of your crew ran round the ship trying to find you, you found yourself in the engine room. The thing that had taken you was a simulant, an insane Android that you had no recollection of.
“He’ll be soon” The simulant looked down at you as you sat chained to a pipe.
As the simulant left you tried your hardest to pull the chain but it was hopeless, whoever ‘he’ was knew about holograms and hard light having made sure that the chain was unbreakable.
“Come ...on” You aggressively hit the chain against the pipe, in hope that by some sheer luck it might break “HELP!”
Your scream for help was only loud enough for Kryten to hear as his rubber ears pricked up.
“This way sirs!” The mechanoid directed them towards you.
With the sound of your screaming that only one of them could hear and no life sign showing on the scanner you expected it to be awhile before they found you.
“Y/N? CAN YOU HEAR ME?” You heard Rimmer shout out, they were much closer than you thought.
“IN HERE!” You shouted back as the boys finally found you.
“Y/N!” Rimmer exclaimed as he ran over to you, trying to break the chain that bound you to the ship.
“Arnie don’t bother, it’s pointless” You sighed almost in defeat.
“We need to do something?” You could see the absolute panic and terror in his eyes as he looked you, your arms desperate to hug him and tell him everything will be ok ...even if you were the one chained up.
“The chain is unbreakable”
“Unbreakable ma’am?” Kryten walked over with Lister and Cat not far behind.
“A simulant took me and locked me up and whoever ordered them to do it knows about holograms and hardlight” You explained as what felt like a sharp jolt of electricity ran through you as you screamed.
“What the hell was that?” Rimmer panicked.
“Step away from the hologram!” A much lower almost evil voice appeared.
“You!” You stared at the man as everything that had been a mystery slowly started to come back.
The man was a professor, Professor Ruin to be exact, he had spent years trying to kidnap you when you were on the Pandora and nobody believed you when you tried to report it. His plan was to kill you and resurrect you as a hologram purely for him to run experiments and torture you ...or what he would call ‘research’.
“Finally you have returned” Professor Ruin grinned, Rimmer taking a huge gulp.
“You cracked my light bee, you’re the reason I glitched out” As everything hit you, you couldn’t help but cry.
“STAY AWAY FROM HER!” Rimmer shouted as the professor went to take a step towards you.
“Oh another hologram ...excellent!” Ruin chuckled manically, the boys all cocking their bazookoids ready to shoot.
“If you want either of them you’ve got to get through us first!” Lister stepped forwarded followed by Kryten and reluctantly Cat as Rimmer stood by you.
“Arnie!” You whispered as you managed to kick your bazookoid to him, hitting the back of his feet.
“I don’t know how to use it?” He kept his voice as quiet as possible.
“Blue switch at the bottom, aim at the chain and shoot!” You whispered the instructions as Rimmer shakily picked up the gun, not quite comfortable with the power he had been given, after all he knew what kind of mods you had given to it.
“I can’t, what if it hits you?” Rimmer looked at you wide eyed at your suggestion.
“Either that or he hits me and I’m gone for good!” You looked at him, eyes glossy as they filled with tears, the thought of living without you bringing Rimmer to a decision.

Two-Faced Jewel: Session 11
Horse On First
A half-elf conwoman (and the moth tasked with keeping her out of trouble) travel the Jewel in search of, uh, whatever a fashionable accessory is pointing them at. [Campaign log]
Last time, our heroes made contact with the Deathseekers, and opted to accompany them back to Barley to take care of some unfinished business. While the high-level adventurers take care of the dragon, the party goes to deliver a book and pick up some clothes from the tailor. No drama here, probably!
In the morning, the party is woken by a visitor to the inn. Looseleaf... acquires a new bit of background thanks to an excellent History roll.
The maid is here to retrieve the party, as the Deathseekers are about to set out. One thing that's somewhat surprising is that the deathseekers aren't riding giraffes, like normal people- they're riding these weird, hulked-out short-necked hornless giraffes that- and there must be some mistake here- are apparently called "whoreses"? It's weird. The best their Nature rolls can get is that they sort of resemble an exotic striped creature called a "zebra", maybe.
Lady Greatholder is there, with two of her maids- one of whom is an elf, who's staring at Oyobi in undisguised horror. To non-elven eyes, Oyobi might look normal, dressed sort of sporty, even- but to an elf's keen sense of propriety, she might as well be wearing an ahegao t-shirt and hammer pants.
Traveling conversation is light.
Looseleaf: "What are these things, anyways? They look like recolored zebras." Benedict I. (GM): You must've misheard something, because Doon says "What, you've never seen a whores before?" Saelhen du Fishercrown: "...pardon me?" Looseleaf: "Is this- this is a pun, right? Like, I'm supposed to ask why you call them whores, and you'll answer, 'because we're riding them'? Is that the joke?" Saelhen du Fishercrown: Oh, god, this is an elaborate gaslighting prank. They are going to try to convince Saelhen to call this thing a whore, and then they will laugh, and she cannot even blame them, because that would be hilarious if she did it, probably. Benedict I. (GM): "Is there something wrong with the whoreses, ma'am?" the human girl asks. Looseleaf: "No, like, you're calling these animals whores, and despite the fact that I wasn't allowed to look at those magazines when I was younger, I'm relatively sure that the Common word 'whore' refers to a lady of ill repute of a brothel- I'm making this worse, aren't I." "I didn't learn the wrong word did I. Oh gods I totally learned the wrong word didn't I. The books that taught me Common were messing with me weren't they." Benedict I. (GM): Lady Greatholder and Doon absolutely lose their shit, as does Oyobi, who's been grinning ear to ear this whole time. Kevin speaks up. "Ah, no, it's- H-O-R-S-E. Hor-suh." "They're from up north." Saelhen du Fishercrown: Saelhen covers her faint smile (read: shit-eating grin). "How novel." Looseleaf: Looseleaf emits a quiet buzzing sound not unlike the sound previously emitted by John Human. This is moth for 'quiet screaming'.
The party doesn't really withhold any details about Arnie and the tower- they just make an appeal for Arnie to be treated with as much mercy as they can muster. Doon implies that he was in a similar place when Lady Greatholder found him, so she reluctantly agrees to stay the hand of JUSTICE.
On arriving in Barley, the Deathseekers go over their plan, in the broad strokes: they're going to post up in the tower, and lay a trap for the dragon using Arnie as bait. By Arnie's reckoning, it'll take a little over a week before the dragon's next visit, so the party has some time to kill in town.
Their first order of business is to visit Chitch, a local lizardfolk farmer who was kidnapped by Lumiere:
Chitch seems surprised that they didn't get kidnapped or tortured- and even more surprised when they claim to have information on his missing daughter's whereabouts.
They hand him CHOSS BOOK, the diary of the girl who was raised in Lumiere's tower as his apprentice. He starts reading it, and his tears of joyful disbelief turn to anger as he reads through the contents- which describe an evil torture wizard raising his daughter as his own, and using her as a test subject.
When he's about halfway through, he puts it down, grabs his pitchfork, and starts strapping on his armor- intent on heading for the tower to kill Lumiere. The party has to hastily explain the situation and exhort him to finish reading the diary, please- Lumiere is already dead, and Choss is safe in Wheat.
Chitch thanks them for the information, and presents them with a reward- apparently, before fleeing to Barley to settle down with his infant daughter, he was a lieutenant commander in the fleet of one Umidono Kaiden, an elven naval commander attempting to take control of the lawless Cutthroat Isles. He gives them his jeweled badge, which could sell for a decent chunk of cash or potentially be useful if they ever need to deal with Kaiden in the future. Orluthe is the one to pocket it, as the rest of the party hems and haws over accepting such a gift.
SNext, they head to visit Kensa Kanthalga to pick up Saelhen's torn kimono- and after a lot of paranoid second-guessing re: heading directly for the Kanthalga house via the grass, go through the Temple of Diamode in front of it first, to update Malath on the situation.
They find her continuing to train the town militia in spearwork, in preparation for what she assumes is an impending assault from Wheat.
They... do not mention Arnie, because mentioning the culprit is Arnie could potentially fan the flames with Wheat. Instead, they mention that the murder weapon was found there, as was evidence of a dragon. Malath seems skeptical that a dragon would stealthily kill with a tiny weapon, and somewhat perturbed that Deathseekers are in town, but agrees to notify the town that the Deathseekers are at the tower handling the dragon issue, so no one does anything dangerous like going over there.
(Incidentally, Vayen has vanished, and Looseleaf's bugged medical kit has indicated that he's gone over to the tower. Hm.)
So, they pass through the temple and visit Kensa in her home. Kensa answers the door, wearing...
...ah.
See, Kensa assumed that after they went to the torture tower and didn't come back for several days, that they were dead or torture-enslaved- and like, the dead or torture-enslaved don't need a stylish kimono, right?
So she is suitably mortified when Saelhen shows up at her door, not dead in the slightest.
Benedict I. (GM): Kensa's down pretty quick, wearing the pink dress from before (if somewhat more disheveled), holding a folded kimono. To her credit, it looks very well-repaired- you can't even tell it was damaged. "I- my apologies! Here you are, ma'am!" Saelhen du Fishercrown: Saelhen takes it. "While I have you here, would you like to hear a secret about this dress?" Kensa Kanthalga: "I- er, of course! Thank you!" Saelhen du Fishercrown: "When I was of an age comparable to yours..." She leans in conspiratorially. "I hated this thing. I fell down in it in front of a ballroom full of people and I very honestly wanted to take a scissor to it." Kensa Kanthalga: "N-no way...!" Saelhen du Fishercrown: "I keep it because it was a gift and because I sometimes need it. But if it gives you pleasure to wear it, then it is accomplishing far more with you than it ever did for me." Kensa Kanthalga: Her eyes widen. "R-really?!" Saelhen du Fishercrown:"I do still need it, to be clear. I, ah, don't mean to get your hopes up." Kensa Kanthalga: "...Oh." "No, of course..." You totally got her hopes up. Looseleaf: Not only did you get her hopes up, you even got Looseleaf's hopes up. Saelhen du Fishercrown: To be fair, "prove that elves can be assholes too" is right there on her character sheet.
And as far as payment- Saelhen just implied that Kensa would be allowed to cut out a swatch or two of the silk during repairs, which Kensa immediately jumped on without discussing further payment. Except...
Then Saelhen... gives Kensa some advice.
Saelhen du Fishercrown: "Now, in your shoes, considering that I might have been still alive, what I would have done was this: cut out squares, maybe handkerchief-sized, here and here. 'One or two,' as I specified." The places Saelhen indicated on the kimono are... not great places for there to be handkerchief-sized holes. They would render it pretty much unwearable. "I didn't ever specify where the swatches should be cut out, true. And so you could certainly chalk up the issue to youthful enthusiasm and indiscretion." "A lady like myself could never do something so crass as ask you to pay for a dress you'd taken time out of your busy schedule to repair, working to the bone over long hours. And I certainly wouldn't have had use for something I couldn't wear or repair myself." Kensa Kanthalga: "I- wh...?" Saelhen du Fishercrown: "And so you would have had the swatches -- and, shortly, the entire dress with it." Benedict I. (GM): She is so confused. Is this lady trying to give her advice on how to grift her??? "That's- but that'd be...!" "I couldn't do that!" Looseleaf: oh my god is saelhen trying to recruit an apprentice is THAT what this is, Looseleaf thinks Saelhen du Fishercrown: "You could, dear."
Saelhen is trying to recruit an apprentice conwoman.
Saelhen retreats, at this point- they'll be staying for a week or so! There's time to lay groundwork!
Next time: some downtime in Barley, before the night of the dragon fight and the execution of Saelhen's master plan.

Merry Christmas, starsarefallinglikerain!
For @starsarefallinglikerain. Merry Christmas Chiara! Enjoy. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Online Magnus and Alec bond over Stephen King movies. Offline things are completely different.
Read On AO3
*****
Stephen King, matchmaker
Alexander97: When Carrie's arm came out of her gravesite, I jumped.
Banetastic: I've seen the movie a hundred times and I jump every time.
Alexander97: John Travolta.
Banetastic: John Travolta.
Alexander97: LOL, he was only in it for a few minutes, but he was great.
Banetastic: After I saw Saturday Night Fever, I wanted to marry him.
Alexander97: Really?
Banetastic: Yes, only thing is, he's not into guys. Shame.
Alexander97: Yeah, that would be a deal breaker. This was before Kotter?
Banetastic: No, I think he did the movie while he was doing the tv show.
Alexander97: Oh. I wished I had Carrie's powers.
Banetastic: You wanted to kill your schoolmates?
Alexander97: No my father.
Banetastic: Oh.
Alexander97: Anyway, Carrie and Tommy were so cute together.
Banetastic: Yes they were. Too bad they didn't get a happy ending.
Alexander97: The first time I saw the movie, I wrote a fanfic about them getting married and having kids.
Banetastic: That's wild.
Alexander97: Yes. Tommy got a job in an office and Carrie did sewing at home. They were so in love and were married forever. I was fifteen or sixteen at the time.
Banetastic: I would love to read it.
Alexander97: I forgot what it was called. LMAO, I don't even remember what my handle was. But I'll look for it.
Banetastic: Great. It's getting late.
Alexander97: True. We start talking and time flies by. Good night, Bane.
Banetastic: Night, Alexander. Until tomorrow.
Alexander97: Until tomorrow.
(Banetastic has left the chat. Alexander97 has left the chat.)

The elevator door opens, Alec steps in, pushes 'L', then leans against the wall. The door closes and the elevator descends. Alec nervously watches the floor indicator count down the floors. He swallows as the elevator stops on '5'. The door opens and HE walks in.
HE smiles at Alec, "Good morning."
Alec lowers his eyes as he mumbles, "Good morning."
HE steps to the other side of the elevator as the door closes and the elevator descends. HE continues to look at Alec, "It might rain today."
Alec mumbles, "Yeah, I have an umbrella." He waves it.
"Yeah, I have one too."
The elevator door opens at the lobby and Alec runs out the elevator. He gets to the front door of the building and sees HIM coming up behind him. Alec opens the door then holds it.
HE smiles as he reaches for the door, his fingers brushing against Alec's, "Thanks."
Alec mumbles, "You're welcome." He sees a bus at the corner and runs to the bus stop. He gets there in time and pays his fare. He finds a seat at the back of the bus and sits down. The bus leaves the stop and pulls into traffic. Out the corner of his eye, Alec sees HIM walk to the bus stop, shaking his head. Alec relaxes, that was close.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Magnus' sigh has nothing to do with missing the bus. In fact, he sees another one coming up the street. No, he's bothered by the man with wide shoulders. Well, 'bothered' is probably the wrong word. 'Frustrated' would be a better word.
Magnus has lived in the building for almost five months and try as he might, Magnus barely gets a sentence out of the man.
He gets a quick peek of beautiful hazel eyes, that he would love to get lost in, before Mr. Shoulders becomes interested in his shoes. Magnus can tell that Mr. Shoulders is damaged goods, but that's okay. It's what has kept Magnus in business for six years. He runs a self defense center. Most of his students are women wanting to protect themselves, but he also has a few male students with the same haunted look in their eyes as Mr. Shoulders.
Magnus sighs as the bus pulls into the stop and he gets on. He pays his fare and sits down. He moved because he needed a change of scenery. He noticed Mr. Shoulders the third day he moved in and has been trying to strike up a meaningful conversation with him ever since.
But to no avail. Mr. Shoulders looks everywhere but at Magnus. He mumbles a handful of words to any question Magnus may ask.
All Magnus knows is that he lives on the eighth floor, and he found that out, purely by accident. Magnus was in the elevator when he heard somebody yell, "Hold it please." Any other time, Magnus may not have hit the 'open' button, but he recognized Mr. Shoulders' voice and smashed his finger on the button.
The door reopened and Mr. Shoulders was there balancing four bags of groceries in his arms. His smile quickly disappeared when he saw Magnus, but he got on the elevator and stood in the back as far away from Magnus as he could get. When Magnus asked him what floor he needed, he hesitated before mumbling, "Eight, please."
Magnus was tempted to offer to help, but he didn't want the other man to have a heart attack, so he got off at his floor without another word.
Magnus doesn't care for anybody else in the building. In fact if it weren't for Mr. Shoulders, Magnus may have found another place. But he's a patient man and he knows that he will eventually win Mr. Shoulders' trust and hopefully his heart.
It's only a matter of time.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Banetastic: Christine was an awesome car.
Alexander97: And she was gorgeous.
Banetastic: And protective.
Alexander97: More like possessive.
Banetastic: A bit of both. But you can't blame her. She's been waiting a long time to get a guy and she saw Arnie first.
Alexander97: LMAO, she tried to kill Leigh.
Banetastic: Because she stole Arnie.
Alexander97: So if somebody tried to steal your significant other, you would kill them?
Banetastic: Hell yes.
Banetastic: Alexander, you still there?
Banetastic: Alexander?
Alexander97: I'm still here. I was just thinking about it.
Banetastic: You okay?
Alexander97: Yeah. I guess I don't know what it's like to love somebody that much to kill for them.
Banetastic: Love makes you crazy. And if somebody tries to hurt the one you love, anger makes you crazier.
Alexander97: And dangerous?
Banetastic: Definitely dangerous. I hope I didn't scare you?
Alexander97: No, it's fine. I just never saw it from Christine's POV before.
Banetastic: I totally see it from her view and she ended up winning Arnie in the end.
Alexander97: You think Arnie is driving around Heaven in Christine?
Banetastic: Or Hell. But they are definitely together.
Alexander97: That makes me smile. Oh gee, look at the time. Gotta go. Good night, Bane.
Banetastic: Good night, Alexander.

Magnus is walking down the block, when he sees a familiar pair of shoulders locking the door to the Public Library. He's tempted to say something, instead he continues to the bus stop. Out the corner of his eye, he sees Mr. Shoulders walk over and stand by the fire hydrant.
The bus arrives and Magnus pays his fare. He walks to the back of the bus and sits down. He takes out his phone and bows his head, so he can watch Mr. Shoulders take a seat by the back door.
Sighing, Magnus checks his emails. Mr Shoulders stares forward during the entire ride.
As the bus approaches their stop, Mr. Shoulders stands and waits by the back door for the bus to stop. Magnus lets two people get in between them as he steps out the bus.
Mr. Shoulders walks down the block to their building. Magnus stays five strides behind him. Mr. Shoulders takes out his key and unlocks the front door. He steps into the building and holds the door open.
Magnus walks faster. As soon as Magnus' hand touches the door, Mr. Shoulders lets the door go and walks to the mailboxes. As Magnus walks over, he watches Mr. Shoulders open the mailbox for '8D'. Magnus gets his own mail as Mr. Shoulders walks to the elevator and pushes the button.
Magnus walks over as the elevator arrives and they both get in. Mr. Shoulders pushes '8' then stands in the back corner looking down at his mail. Magnus pushes '5' then sighs as he watches the door close.
The elevator goes up and stops on the fifth floor. Magnus smiles at Mr. Shoulders, "Good night."
The other man mumbles, "Night", without looking up from his mail.
Magnus steps off the elevator and walks to his apartment, shaking his head.

Alexander97: Johnny's life sucked.
Banetastic: Johnny had a great life. He had a job he loved. A girl he was going to marry.
Alexander97: Then the accident happened.
Banetastic: True. Sarah should have waited for him. They were in love. She should have waited.
Alexander97: Five years?
Banetastic: Love doesn't have an expiration date.
Alexander97: Whatever. Brooke Adams is married to that guy from Monk.
Banetastic: Yeah. Tony Shalhoub. Poor Monk. After Trudy was killed, he was messed up.
Alexander97: Do you believe in love, Bane?
Banetastic: Of course. Don't you?
Alexander97: No.
Banetastic: Wow. Not even love for your parents or siblings?
Alexander97: I don't have siblings. I guess I loved my mom but I was terrified of my dad.
Banetastic: Oh.
Alexander97: Yeah. My dad shot my mom, she ended up dying, then he chased me outside. The cops told him to stop and when he refused, they shot him.
Banetastic: Wow. I'm so sorry, Alexander.
Alexander97: Yeah, it happened when I was 10. I lived with this foster family until I was 18. I've been on my own since then. I haven't spoken of it to anybody since it happened. Until now. I like talking to you. You make me feel safe, Bane.
Banetastic: I like talking to you too, Alexander. And I'm glad I make you feel safe. By the way, Bane is my last name. You can call me Magnus.
Alexander97: Hello Magnus. I'm Alec.
Banetastic: Nice to meet you, Alec. Where do you live, maybe we can get together for coffee?
Alexander97: I saw on your profile, you live in Brooklyn, New York. So do I.
Banetastic: Perfect. So coffee?
Alexander97: I don't know. I'm not much of an outside person.
Banetastic: Outside person? LMAO. I can understand your caution. Think about it then get back to me?
Alexander97: Okay. But we can still talk here?
Banetastic: Of course. One thing has nothing to do with the other, Alec.
Alexander97: I'm glad. Like I said, I feel safe talking to you.
Banetastic: And I enjoy talking to you. I got an early class tomorrow morning, gotta go.
Alexander97: Okay. Good night, Magnus.
Banetastic: Good night, Alec.

Magnus taps his foot as he waits for the elevator. He checked Google and the library is closed on Saturdays, so he hopes Mr. Shoulders is sleeping in. The elevator door opens and Magnus wants to cheer when he sees that the elevator is empty. He gets on and hits 'L'.
The elevator gets to the lobby and the door opens. Magnus walks over to the mailboxes and looks at the name for 8D.
A. Lightwood
Magnus groans, that doesn't help him. Albert, Alan, Andrew, Adam, Alfred, Anthony, Aaron, the list is endless. He walks out the building and looks at the intercom. That also just has 'A'.
Discouraged, Magnus walks to Dunkin Donuts. He enters and walks to the counter. He gets his usual breakfast of a large coffee and toasted cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. He takes his order to a table at the back and sits down. Magnus enjoys his breakfast as he looks around. He sees Mr. Shoulders, aka Mr. A. Lightwood, walk over to the counter. Magnus is tempted to get his attention, but restrains himself.
A. Lightwood gets his order then leaves, without glancing around to see who might be in Dunkin. Magnus sighs as he finishes his breakfast.

Banetastic: They changed the ending in the movie. Originally the little boy dies.
Alexander97: Stephen doesn't pull punches.
Banetastic: No he doesn't. But I love how protective Donna is. 100% mama bear.
Alexander97: The mechanic reminded me of my dad.
Banetastic: Oh?
Alexander97: Yeah, he terrified me, that's why I've only seen Cujo once.
Banetastic: Oh.
Alexander97: I'm kind of tired. I think I'll go to bed early.
Banetastic: Wait, Alec. What about us getting together?
Alexander97: I don't know.
Banetastic: Please. I enjoy our conversations and it would be awesome to actually talk to you.
Banetastic: Alec?
Banetastic: Alexander?
Banetastic: You still there?
Alexander97: Yeah.
Banetastic: There's a Dunkin near me, on Church and Flatbush, we can meet there for breakfast. Lots of people. We don't even have to talk. I just want to meet you.
Banetastic: Alexander?
Alexander97: Ok. That Dunkin is close to me too.
Banetastic: EXCELLENT. That's great.
Alexander97: When?
Banetastic: Tomorrow? Unless you have to work?
Alexander97: I don't work on Sundays. Tomorrow is okay.
Banetastic: Is 10 too early?
Alexander97: 10 is fine.
Banetastic: How will I know it's you?
Alexander97: I'm not sure. Oh wait. I'll bring a book with me. Christine. It's all beat up. I'll set it on the table.
Banetastic: Awesome. I can't wait to see you tomorrow.
Alexander97: Yeah. Good night, Magnus.
Banetastic: Good night.
(Alexander97 has left the chat. Banetastic has left the chat.)

Magnus checks his watch as he waits for the elevator. Ten minutes to ten. He doesn't want to get to Dunkin before Alexander. He wants the other man to get comfortable before Magnus shows up. That's assuming Alexander is an early bird.
Magnus doesn't consider himself a violent man, but he would love to have twenty minutes with Alexander's dead father. Just to teach him how it feels to be on the receiving end of a punch or two or ten.
He takes a deep breath, he needs to calm down. He doesn't want to scare Alexander and have him run out of Dunkin.
The elevator arrives and Magnus gets on. He pushes 'L' and watches the floor indicator light as the elevator goes down. He gets off the elevator and leaves the building. He walks to Dunkin.
He glances around as he enters, and sighs when he sees Mr. Shoulders at a table in the back. Magnus continues to look around as he waits on line. He notices a book on the table, next to Mr. Shoulder's hand.
A well read paperback copy of Christine.
Magnus closes his eyes as he mentally kicks himself in the ass.
A. Lightwood, as in Alexander Lightwood.
Magnus opens his eyes and smiles at Josie. She laughs, "The usual?"
He nods, "Please." She rings up his coffee and bagel.
Magnus watches Mr. Shoulders aka A. Lightwood aka Alexander out the corner of his eye. He's eating his breakfast in between quick glances at the door.
Josie hands Magnus his order, "Have a nice day."
Magnus smiles, "I hope so. Thanks." He walks over to Alec's table.
Alec looks up, panic in his eyes, "Can I help you?"
Magnus smiles gently, "I'm Magnus."
Alec's eyes widen as he looks at his book then back at Magnus, "Oh."
"Is it okay if I join you?" Alec nods without a word. Magnus puts his coffee and bag on the table then sits down, "Thanks."
Alec mumbles, "You're welcome."
Magnus takes a sip of his coffee then takes the bagel out the bag. Alec picks up his muffin. They eat in silence.
Magnus keeps his head down as he eats. He watches, out the corner of his eye, as Alec's shoulders relax. He smiles as he enjoys his bagel.
Magnus quickly looks up when Alec starts to stand, "Where you going?"
Alec bites his lip, "I want more coffee."
Magnus nods as he finishes his own coffee, "Okay. I could use a refill as well. I'll go." He stands up. Alec reaches into his pocket. Magnus smiles, "I got it, I'll be right back." He walks to the counter as Alec sits back down.
Josie smiles, "You still here?"
Magnus nods, "I'm with a friend."
She glances over, "Tall, dark and timid?"
Magnus laughs, "You know Alec?"
"Yeah, he's here almost every morning. In fact, he's asked about you a few times."
"Me?"
"Yes. He sees you at your usual table and asks if I know who you are."
"Interesting."
She nods, "I'm glad you two found each other. You make an adorable couple."
Magnus smiles, "I'm trying."
"Good. He needs somebody like you."
"Like me?"
"Protective. My sister takes your self-defense class on Wednesdays."
"Oh."
"Anyway, what can I do for you?"
"A couple of coffees please. Damn, I forgot to ask him what he wants."
She winks, "I got you, don't worry about it." She rings up the two coffees. Magnus pays with his credit card as she makes them. She puts the two cups on the counter, "Here you go."
Magnus picks them up, "Thanks." He walks back. He puts the cups on the table then sits.
Alec gives him a slight smile, "Thank you."
"You're welcome." They enjoy their second cups of coffee in silence.
Alec finishes, gathers his trash and stands up, "It was nice meeting you."
Magnus finishes his coffee, "Wait, we still have the whole day. Let's go see a movie or go to the aquarium or the zoo."
Alec picks up his book, "I have to go grocery shopping."
"Fine. I'll go with you."
Alec shakes his head, "No, that's okay. This was nice, but I gotta go." He walks away quickly, drops his trash in the garbage can and leaves Dunkin.
Magnus sighs as he pinches the bridge of his nose, "Damn it." He stands, picks up his empty cups and bag and walks over to the garbage can. He shakes his head at Josie as he drops the trash in, "I was so close."
She gives him a slight smile, "You giving up?"
Magnus smiles, "Hell no."
She laughs, "Good for you. Good luck."
"Thanks, I'm going to need it." Magnus leaves Dunkin.

Magnus grabs a bottle of beer out the fridge, opens it and tosses the cap in the sink. The takeout trash is in the garbage. He walks over to the sofa. Now he's ready to watch tv. He sits down and reaches for the remote, that is on the coffee table. Drinking his beer, he goes through the channels and smiles when he sees that The Dark Tower is starting.
As the end credits roll, Magnus checks to see what's on next. The Shawshank Redemption. Magnus tells the empty room, "Another great movie." He runs to the fridge for another beer, then gets comfortable on the sofa again.
When the movie is over, he eyes his tablet on the other side of the sofa, where he left it last night.
Usually when he's done with tv, he logs into the chat and talks to Alec. But after this morning, Magnus isn't sure if Alec is still interested in talking to him.
With a sigh, he puts the remote on the coffee table then reaches for the tablet.
He puts it on. Once it's ready, Magnus hits the chat icon, which automatically logs him in.
Alexander97: Magnus are you there?
Alexander97: Magnus, you said one thing has nothing to do with the other.
Alexander97: Magnus I'm sorry, please talk to me.
Alexander97: Magnus
Alexander97: Magnus
Alexander97: Magnus, please don't leave me.
Magnus quickly puts the beer bottle on the coffee table then starts typing.
Banetastic: Shit, Alec. I'm the one that should be apologizing. I was watching tv.
Alexander97: Oh.
Banetastic: Yes but now I'm here.
Alexander97: I should tell you that I kind of knew it was you.
Banetastic: Knew what was me?
Alexander97: About a month ago, I finally got enough nerve to look at the mail boxes for the fifth floor and saw 'M. Bane' for 5F.
Banetastic: Oh?
Alexander97: Yeah. Then the other day, when you said your first name was 'Magnus', that was too much of a coincidence.
Banetastic: I see.
Alexander97: So I wasn't really surprised to see at my table this morning.
Banetastic: Then why did you run away so quickly?
Alexander97: I was scared.
Banetastic: Of me?
Alexander97: Yes and no. I wasn't scared OF you, I was scared of you rejecting me.
Magnus closes his eyes as he shakes his head. He mutters, "Ten minutes with his father, that's all I need."
Banetastic: Nonsense.
Alexander97: Easy for you to say that now. But I'm sure once I started talking you would have noped right out of Dunkin.
Magnus grits his teeth. He stands holding the tablet in a tight grip. He walks over to the cabinet by the door and grabs his keys. He leaves his apartment, locks the door and walks over to the stairway door. He's in no mood to wait for the elevator.
Banetastic: That's crazy talk. We've been talking for almost a year here, why would you think that?
Alexander97: It's easy for me to talk online, where I can change stuff if I think it sounds stupid. If I SAY something stupid, I can't erase it.
Magnus shakes his head as he takes the steps two at a time to the eighth floor. He lets the stairway door slam as he walks to 8D. He knocks on the door.
Alexander97: Oh my god, Magnus. Somebody is at my door. Why? I don't know anybody in the building. Besides you. So who could that be? I'm scared. Magnus what should I do?
Magnus takes a deep breath, then slowly lets it out, as he thinks, "Five minutes tops."
Banetastic: It's okay, Alec. I'M at the door.
Alexander97: You? Why?
Banetastic: So that we can talk.
Alexander97: We are talking.
Banetastic: Face to face.
Alexander97: Oh.
Banetastic: Alec come open the door.
Banetastic: I'm just going to stand here until you let me in.
Magnus glances at the elevator as the door opens and a woman steps off. She eyes him coldly as she walks down the hall. Magnus smiles at her as she walks past him. She stops at the end of the hallway, unlocks her door then quickly enters her apartment. The door slams and Magnus hears her lock the door.
Magnus rolls his eyes as he returns his attention to his tablet. Out the corner of his eye, he sees the door open. Magnus looks up and smiles.
Alec holds the door open, "She's a mean lady. She might call the police if you stay out here any longer."
Magnus nods as he walks into the apartment, "Thanks."
"You're welcome." Alec closes the door.
Magnus looks around the apartment. A couple of armchairs, a small television and three bookcases are all there is in the living room. There's a table with four chairs in the kitchen. A laptop is on the table.
Alec gestures to the kitchen, "We can talk there."
Magnus smiles, "Ok." He walks to the table and sits down. He puts his tablet on the table.
Alec walks over, "You want coffee?"
Magnus shakes his head, "No thanks."
"Oh." Alec grips the back of the chair, where his laptop is, with both hands, "I have iced tea."
Not liking how tense Alec is, Magnus smiles, "That sounds good."
Alec smiles as he lets go of the chair and walks to the fridge, "Cool." He takes out a pitcher. He gets glasses out of the cabinet and fills them. He puts the pitcher back in the fridge then brings the glasses to the table. He walks over to the counter and gets a tin of cookies. He brings it and a handful of napkins to the table, then sits down. He closes the laptop and moves it to the side.
Magnus silently watches Alec move around the kitchen. He seems relaxed and happy. Magnus likes seeing this side of Alec. He takes a couple of cookies and places them on a napkin, then takes a drink of his iced tea, "This is good."
Alec's eyes sparkle, "It's Mona's recipe. Three parts 4C iced tea mix with one part Kool Aid lemonade mix."
"Mona is?"
"My foster mom."
"I see."
Alec nods, "My dad didn't allow sweets in the house. We didn't even have bagels. Just white bread."
"I'm sorry."
Alec shrugs as he eats a cookie, "It's okay. The Whitmans were nice people. Mona and Ted. They didn't have any children of their own. They were killed in a car accident two weeks after my eighteenth birthday. They left everything to me. I sold the house and moved here. I kept some of the furniture and sold the rest."
"You've been with the library since you moved here?"
Alec nods, "After I graduated college, I got an internship at Grand Army Plaza. A children's librarian position opened up in the Spring Creek branch. I was there for over a year then transferred to the Flatlands location."
"Children's librarian? Interesting."
"I like it." Alec stands and gets the pitcher of iced tea out the fridge. He refills their glasses. He sits down after putting the pitcher back, "So what do you do?"
Magnus smiles, "I own a self defense center."
"Oh."
"You interested?"
Alec shakes his head, "No, thanks. I can't see me hitting anybody." He folds his arms across his chest and lowers his head.
"I understand." Magnus mentally kicks himself. He quickly changes the subject, "So what is your favorite Stephen King movie?"
Alec looks up as he thinks. He takes a drink, then slowly smiles, "Dead Zone. It would be cool to touch somebody's hand and see their future. But only good things. Like who they would fall in love with or how many kids they would have or that new job they will get."
"I don't know if it would be possible to limit what you can see."
Alec shrugs, "I don't want to see death, just happy things."
Magnus nods as he reaches for Alec's hand and gently holds it in both of his, "You know what I see right now?"
Alec looks from Magnus' face to their hands back to his face, "What?"
"I see you and me eating dinner tomorrow night at a nice Italian restaurant in Downtown Brooklyn."
Alec smiles, "Really?"
"Yes really."
"I'd like that."
"I keep my car in the garage, it's easier to go back and forth to work on the bus. I'll pick you up at the library."
"I'm not sure what time I finish."
Magnus nods. He reaches into his back pocket with his right hand, "Damn, I left my phone in the apartment. Give me your phone, and I'll give you my number."
Alec nods as he lets go of Magnus' hand and stands up. He runs into his bedroom and gets his phone off the nightstand. He runs back to the kitchen and hands his phone to Magnus. Their fingers touch briefly. Alec smiles as Magnus types his cell number into Alec's contact list.
Magnus texts Alec to his cellphone, then hands the phone back to Alec, "This way I can put your number in my contacts. Tomorrow, when you find out what time you're leaving, you can text me."
"Okay."
Magnus smiles as he stands, "Thanks for the tea and cookies. See you tomorrow?" He picks his tablet up.
Alec nods, "That's a definite yes." They walk to the door. Alec opens it, "Until tomorrow, Magnus."
"Until tomorrow, Alec." Magnus leaves the apartment. Alec closes the door then smiles as he leans against it.
Magnus walks to the stairwell and goes downstairs to his apartment. He unlocks his door, smiling he says, "Thank you, Stephen King." as he enters the apartment then locks the door.
-the end-
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Carrie, Christine and Dead Zone are my favorite Stephen King books and movies.
A/N: I took a bit of artistic license with locations. There IS a Dunkin on Church and Flatbush Aves, but the building that Alec and Magnus live in doesn't exist. There's a bus stop next to the Flatlands branch of the Public Library, but it's on the other side of the library. I wanted Magnus to walk past and see Alec locking the door. The actual next stop is three blocks away.

Kakyoin x self harming reader if possible please!
[Hey, my lad. I apologize for the wait. Frankly, I was just waiting for the right mood to hit to write something with such theme. And there it was, today at last. I don’t know is I should be saying the general words like ‘please don’t do this’ or something like that since I am pretty much the same here, thus why this was quite easy and relatable to write. I just hope that you are okay there, there are different way to let out the frustration out and I hope that you will find the calmness in your heart, even if it hurts more than it heals sometimes. Thank you for such opportunity, I appreciate you - Arni]
Trigger warning: angst, self-harm, bad coping mechanisms, self-doubt, self-hate
Noriaki
Another day, another disappointment. How many days has it been? It seems like far too many. School was supposed to be a learning and interesting experience, as you find new people in your life and find your own path. ‘Supposed’ was the key word. Instead of it being a unique experience, it was a pain in the ass. It was suffocating you, making your question your liability. And the more you started to question, the more you realized all the flaws within you. It is honestly pathetic how one human can be so imperfect and useless. Each day proved you right, as the school constantly reminded you that you are not worth it. Not worth new knowledge, new friends or even something more.
Speaking of which, your lover, Kakyoin, was the sweetest man. It was honestly unbelievable how he has found you interesting r even worth noticing. Yet he was always there for you, no matter what. So what did you give in return? More disappointment and bad news as the school made you vulnerable, anxious of your worth to him. After all, he was a honor student, Kakyoin’s whole appearance screamed ‘perfection’ as the man’s knowledge and achievements were almost uncountable. The honor student and…..you? It sounded almost unbelievable how he has found you worth his time and affection. His smartness, your stupidity. Such duality was almost dangerous.
Feeling another day end made you feel like ending yourself at this point, the amount of pain it brought into your poor soul. Another mistake made on a lesson, more cruel laughs behind your back as a small mistake ruined your whole day in one second. Kakyoin’s gentle smile didn’t help the situation, as it reminded you again of your differences. How beautiful and perfect this man was. And how you weren’t as near in terms of such qualities.
Feeling your hands involuntarily reach for a sharp blade of whenever was near. Maybe it was a small pocketknife you kept in your drawer, maybe simple scissors the you forgot to put away, It didn’t matter. Nothing mattered at the moment. At the blissful pain ran across your arms, reminding you of your mistakes and worthlessness. Just a little bit. A small punishment for failing. Maybe then you will learn to be better. To be worth something. Maybe.
You were sure to not make the cuts too deep so that they would heal before someone will notice. Long sleeves would be enough for a couple of days before the cuts will eventually heal back. It was a small punishment, after all. Just a reminder. The upcoming feeling of small cuts will surely remind you of your failures, making you work harder. Making you improve. Such punishment would linger on your arms until you will get better. If not, then another will follow. Until you will improve. Get on the same level. Be worthy of something. Stop being a disappointment.
And so the next day came, long sleeves alongside with it, the usual routine. Hoping that today you won’t be a complete mess, you quickly marched to the school, trying to dismiss any unwelcoming glances sent your way. You knew well enough that you are a disgrace, nothing to remind here.
However, the soft melodic voice caught you off guard, making you escape your small trance. Kakyoin.
“Good morning” the man greeted you, smiling at your form “Barely caught up to you as you were speeding so much, what’s the occasion?” he questioned as you two slowed down to enter the school together.
“Just wanted to come a bit earlier today, that is. Good morning, Kakyoin”
“I told you to drop Kakyoin and just call me by my first name, didn’t I?” he chuckled, no matter how much time you two (surprisingly) were together, you still addressed him by his last name.
“Yes, but…” did you deserve to call him that?
“It’s okay, don’t worry” Kakyoin reassured you, not wanting to pressure you “do you want to meet at lunch time?” his smiled widened a little.
“Sure” why did you agree? You will take his time anyway.
“Alright, see you later” Kakyoin waved, walking away. Even if you were the same age, the schedule was quite different for two of you. You wondered if there was a special reason for him to want to meet you at such time, maybe it was the time he’d realize that he could do better?
As the day went by and you desperately tried not to overthink the following lunch, you found yourself waiting for your boyfriend at your secret place. It was a rather secluded place in the park, just for you two to enjoy each other’s company. That is, if he enjoyed yours.
Hearing quick steps approach, you turned around to be met but a slightly panting man before you, who seemed like he just ran a marathon.
“I am sorry for being late, an art teacher wanted to have a word with me about the upcoming project” could this man be even more perfect?
Sitting down next to you, Kakyoin took your hand, feeling the warmth and enjoying the small intimacy as you two could take a break after studying for so long.
“But enough about my projects. Tell me, my love, how are your days passing?” the man asked eagerly, getting comfortable next to you as you couldn’t help but to blush a little at his cute nickname for you. Totally undeserved.
“Eh, nothing interesting, school as it is” you tried to not to draw too much attention to yourself, instead giving a neutral answer
“Mhm” was the only answer. However, he continued reluctantly “say…has something happened?”
“What do you mean?” you started to get nervous, hoping that he won’t get too worried about you. It was insignificant after all.
“Well, you have been a little bit….pardon my language…off these days” Kakyoin traced patterns on your hand as you silently prayed that he won’t feel the bandages under your clothes.
“I am just tired, simple as that. Sorry for worrying you yet again” you reasoned, disappointed that you made your boyfriend worry for you.
“Yet again? My sunshine, you haven’t done anything wrong. I just worry about your health since the school is getting kinda stressful” Kakyoin reasoned with you, moving closer as he noticed your worried expression. Something was definitely wrong.
“It’s okay” you tried again as your body started to shake lightly. This didn’t go unnoticed by the man next to you.
“Is it?” he pushed forward, determined to find out what has been bothering his loving partner.
“I…” you hesitated.
“You can tell me anything, you know. What has been on your mind?” Kakoyin drew closer, drawing his other arm around your shoulder, trying to easy your anxiety.
“It’s just hard” you mumbled, hoping that he wouldn’t hear. Yet he did
“What is?” came another question
“You know…everything” you couldn’t find the right words to describe your inner worries.
“Please, tell me”
“I don’t think it’s worth your time” you reasoned with him, trying to not panic as the man continued.
“What is?” he was yet again determined to find the cause of your strange behavior.
“Me telling you” you explained, looking down at your hands to avoid his intense gaze.
“Of course it is…” before he could continue, he felt something weird under your sleeves, not your usual soft skin. Instead some sort of material was covering your arms
“….what is this?” he asked, almost afraid of the answering, hoping that it wasn’t what he thought it was.
“Kakyoin, it’s nothing to worry about” you tried again, slightly covering your arms so that the he won’t notice the prominent bandages.
“Please…please show me” Kakyoin’s voice suddenly got quieter as he was nervous to scare your away.
You reluctantly lifted your sleeves, making Kakyoin’s eyes widen at your revelation. Tracing your arms gently, as if not to hurt you further, his expression changed into a worrisome one. Kak suddenly pulled you into a strong embrace, also squeezing the life out of you, scared that you would disappear.
“How long has this been going?” his gentle voices called for you.
“I don’t really know. Sometimes I just feel like. I need to remind myself of my mistakes, of all the disappointment I bring people. How much I do not deserve to be here, to be with you” you finally revealed your true emotions to the man.
“Please, don’t say such things. We deserve each other and you deserve all the great things in the world. I am sorry for not being there for you, I should have noticed that you are suffering” his voice was shaking, making you feel even more vulnerable in his strong hold.
“No, Kak, it’s okay, it’s just me, you know? I just need to get better” you tried to reason with him, letting your dark thoughts escape.
“You need to be happy. There is no happiness in your self-destructive pushes and self-blame. I am proud of you the way you are, and I will be here for you no matter what. My love for you won’t ever change and so won’t my views on you. I am sorry for not being there for you. From now on, please tell me if something bothers you. I don’t care if you think that it’s nothing or it’s not worth my time. You are worth my time and love and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I love you”
“I…thank you” you felt tears falling down your face as you feel relieved, not knowing what to say
“It’s okay” his reassuring voice calmed you as gentle hands traced comforting patterns on your shaking back.
“I love you too” you sniffed, shaking in his strong arms “Noriaki”

On the Run chapter 19
Fandom: Outlast:Whistleblower
Characters: Waylon Park, Eddie Gluskin, OFC
Relationships: Waylon Park/Eddie Gluskin
Tags: Slow Burn
Summary: Eddie and Waylon build shelters, and Eddie reflects on the past.
Eddie was surprised when he saw Waylon sitting on the couch so early, his legs crossed under him and computer on his lap. And then he told him he had a nightmare. Eddie almost wanted to press, but just hearing that Waylon thought that he and Jess were dead was enough. He just wants to protect Waylon. So he pulled him into a hug, knowing that physical contact reassures Waylon. Eddie's never really been big on hugs, but the habits of the other two are slowly sinking in. And Waylon is a hugger. Thankfully, Jess had given Waylon hot chocolate in the meantime.
Jess makes breakfast alone while Eddie stays with Waylon. The man seems better now, if a bit tired. He sits up, in any case. Jess hands him another mug, taking his old one. The new one is filled with coffee; one sugar, cream.
Eddie puts on some cooking show to distract Waylon. "Thank you," he murmurs. Eddie just nods in reply. "I mean it, Eddie. I really appreciate this. I know this is awkward for you."
Eddie rubs the back of his neck. "You're welcome."
"Chow's ready," Jess calls, and the men get up and go to the island. Jess serves them pancakes and they dig in. "So, what Way? Nightmare?" Waylon nods. "Wanna talk about it?"
"I was back in the Engine," Waylon says quietly. "Andrew, when he put me in, licked the side of my face."
Jess makes a disgusted sound. "You never told me that. What a fucking creep."
"And then Blair came in. He told me that you fought back and they killed you. And then Miles came in. He was blaming me. Told me Eddie was killed, too. When I thought that he was lying, he put up an image on the screen; you two, dead in a ditch."
"Shit, Way. That sounds bad." Waylon just shrugs, playing with his food. Jess reaches across and squeezes his shoulder reassuringly. "We're ok."
Waylon nods and resumes eating. They finish breakfast and Waylon gets up. "Waylon," Eddie starts.
"Doing dishes always calmed me." Eddie lets him do it. Jess goes to the backyard and Eddie follows after a beat.
"We should go into town for pallets," she says. "Can get some blocks from Arnie's. Build the shelters," she muses.
Eddie nods. Having a project will keep his mind off of Waylon. Maybe he can even teach Waylon to build them. Not like they're exceptionally difficult. Speaking of the chickens. He moves to the coop and opens the door. They walk out, clucking softly. He clucks back and reaches down. One pecks gently at him, grooming him. He smiles- he made sure to pick the gentlest ones for Waylon. He straightens and finds one is starting to sit on his feet. He moves back and the chicken scampers off. He looks around for Jess and barely sees her in the coop.
"Any eggs?"
"Not today. But soon." Eddie had expected that. The chickens need to feel safe in their environment before they start laying. It might take a few days. Jess comes back out of the coop and they head inside. Waylon is cleaning up the counter now, even though Eddie knows Jess always wipes up after herself. He looks up at their approach.
"Should we go into town," he asks. Jess and Eddie nod and they all go upstairs to get ready.
When they're all downstairs, Waylon hands the keys to Eddie. He takes them and drives all of them into town.
"I go to Charlie's, you go to the woodworking shop," Eddie asks. Jess nods. Waylon stays with Eddie as Jess walks off. Eddie assumes that it's because the other man feels safer with him, at least physically. Jess can hold her own, but Eddie can deter most fights before they start just from his sheer size. They go inside to see Charlie.
"More pallets," the man grins.
"Yes, sir," Eddie replies.
"How big are y'all making this coop?"
"Actually, the coop's finished. Now we just want to make emergency shelters and raised gardens."
"Wow, y'all work fast. Alright, Kyle, you know the drill." They go in the back, this time Waylon joining them. Eddie chooses the best pallets for their purpose. He thinks four should be more than enough for the shelters. Waylon takes two, awkwardly carrying them. They're not heavy, per se. Just big. The way Waylon is carrying them, they bang against his hips.
"Here," Eddie says, reaching out for Waylon. He adjusts his hands and arms around the pallets, and Waylon nods in thanks. Eddie takes the remaining two and they walk to the truck. Waylon leans them against the side and flips the tailgate down. Eddie lifts the two he'd been carrying into the bed and then Waylon's. At least Waylon lets him do that for him. Waylon follows him back to Charlie's, and Eddie does some quick math in his head.
Two gardens for Waylon with tomatoes and strawberries, that's eight planks. Another deeper one for potatoes, that's at least another eight. An herb garden, another four. That's twenty planks, with five planks per pallet which means he needs four more. He grabs two and then looks at Waylon. "Mind grabbing two more, Sam?" Waylon nods and picks them up. He's better about carrying them now using the method Eddie had showed him. They carry them out to the truck and this time Jess is waiting for them, a newspaper under her arm. Her hands twitch like she wants to help, but Eddie stops her with a look. She looks away, embarrassed. Eddie knows she feels useless, but she can't help. Not with that leg. When it heals, yes; but until it does, she's on rest. Otherwise, she'll mess that leg up for life. And that's the last thing any of them want. He doesn't even want to consider the possibility of Jess limping for the rest of her life.
He shakes himself out of that thought and gets the rest of the pallets in. They get in the cab of the truck and drive home. Eddie and Waylon get all the pallets to the backyard, and Eddie takes the blocks from Jess.
"Want to help, Waylon," Eddie asks. Waylon nods and follows him. Eddie flips the pallet and puts the blocks at the corners. He picks up a screw and holds it at an angle. "Ever use one of these," he asks, picking up the drill.
"No," Waylon admits.
"It's pretty easy. I'll hold it steady, you pull the trigger." Eddie had already set the speed. Waylon wraps his hand around the tool and pulls the trigger. Eddie watches as the screw spins into place. "Stop." Waylon obeys. Eddie pulls the drill out and tries to wiggle the block. It doesn't budge. "Good job." Eddies sets up another screw and does the same thing. "Stop." Eddie sets up the next block and Eddie hands Waylon the drill. Waylon glances up at him, surprised, before he wraps his hand around it like he's afraid it'll bite him.
"It's heavy."
"You can do it." Waylon sets up, and Eddie gently nudges the drill tip until it sits right on the screw. He watches as Waylon pulls the trigger. He struggles to keep it steady, but Eddie trusts him. "Stop," he says once the screw is in. Waylon does. The next screw is easier. And the next one easier still.
"I think I've got it." Eddie pats his shoulder and moves away, leaving Waylon to build the shelters as he pulls apart boards with the crowbar. The chickens do not appreciate the noise and stay away from them.
They work silently, the only thing punctuating it the whirring of the drill. When the sound pauses, Jess calls them. "Lunch!"
The men go inside. Jess had already made sandwiches and Eddie eats. He wasn't aware of how hungry he was until he started. But that was normally how he was when he worked on projects. His mother would have to pull him out of working to get food in him. He chews, lost in the memory. Sometimes he misses her. But the sting of her death had lessened over the years, thank God. He was ten when his father had killed her. Twenty some odd years now. But he still remembers finding her. Of course, his father hadn't been held accountable. He had claimed self-defense, and since Horace Gluskin was the biggest man in town (literally, that's where Eddie had gotten his size), no one dared question him. And his twin brother, Eddie's uncle, had backed him up.
Eddie finishes his sandwich and wipes his mouth. "Looks like rain," Waylon notes. Eddie looks out at the sky, which is grey.
"No," Jess and Eddie say together.
"No?"
"Didn't smell like rain," Eddie says. Jess nods.
Waylon looks blankly at them. "'Smell like rain?' Rain has a smell?"
Jess and Eddie look at each other, both trying to figure out a way to explain. "Ok," Jess says. "You ever go out on a winter day, and you can literally smell the cold?"
Waylon thinks and then nods. "Imagine that, but a little wetter," Eddie continues. Waylon closes his eyes and then his face slackens with slight surprise.
"Ok," he smiles, eyes still closed. "Thanks, Eddie." Eddie is grateful Waylon looks away as he rubs the back of his neck.
Eddie goes back outside. The chickens cluster around him when he sits and one hops into his lap. He absentmindedly pets it as he works. "That's adorable." Eddie looks up and Waylon is looking at him and pocketing his phone. Eddie has the sneaking suspicion that he took a picture of him. Eddie just shrugs and returns to his task. As soon as Waylon starts the drill again, the chicken flutters away. Eddie pulls apart all the pallets, stacking the wood neatly under the raining. Even though it won't rain, it's getting dark. Waylon finishes his last block and Eddie helps him put the shelters around the yard. The chickens investigate, pecking at them. But they soon lose interest and go back inside. Eddie bars the door and locks them in for the night.
They go back inside and Jess has started dinner. Eddie washes up and helps her. The duo move around each other, not even close to getting in each other's way. They're used to this by now, and even Eddie has to admit that they work well together. Eddie was surprised at that the first time they cooked together. He had assumed that aspect would fall away once free of Mount Massive. But they think similarly and he somehow always forgets that. She grew up in similar circumstances and though they took very different paths in life, they understand each other. They never said it out loud, but they show it in other ways. The plate the food and serve it, and the trio eats. Eddie is silent, thinking. He doesn't know a whole lot about Jess. She's not open about her past. He can't blame her without being a hypocrite. And Waylon never pressed either of them. He's never read his own file, he doesn't know how much they know from it. He also suspects that they're wary about asking about his life in case it triggers the Groom the come out. If he were Waylon, he would probably be worried about the same thing.
Eddie's not mentally stable. He's functional for the great majority of the time but stable? Absolutely not. Even before murkoff, he wasn't the most emotionally healthy person. Going back even farther, even before the murders, he wasn't. It took him a lot of years of therapy to change that to where he is now. He chances a look at Jess. She might be a little better off than he is, but he can tell she holds a lot of shit back. She puts on a fantastic facade, but he sees through it. But he'll never press. He's curious, but whether or not she ever tells him is completely up to her. Waylon gathers up their plates and washes them.
Eddie and Jess move to the couch. Eddie picks up his book and jess uses the computer. They coexist in peace, not speaking. That's another thing- both of them subscribe to the 'don't talk if you don't have anything to say' mentality. Waylon is a talker. They indulge him when they need to, but when it's just them, silence reigns. Waylon comes and sits between them, picking up a book of his own. Eddie glances at the title. The Time Machine. Another book Waylon had recommended to him. He turns back to his own book. It's an interesting premise, and he thinks it's very well-written. He's enjoying it. Jess stands and Eddie looks at the cable box to see the time. It's almost 11:00.
"Night, guys."
"Goodnight."
Not too long later, Waylon gets up. Eddie stands with him and follows him upstairs. They stand at their respective doors. "Night, Eddie."
"Goodnight, Waylon."

Reasons why Terminator Dark Fate is a worthy sequel of T2
It wrapped up a stale story and respected its predecessor’s finale
Skynet is dead, long live Skynet. Yes, there is no fate and Sarah was able to kill Skynet, but Skynet wasn’t a product of only its time nor an incident made by rogues: Skynet was a warning of what would become of people if they were too arrogant. It’s a tale of hybris. Men get too self-reliant and create something that will bring about their downfall: they become God, but by becoming God they commit a sin so big, they will need Jesus Christ (John Connor or James Cameron, if you will) to save themselves. I mean, if you don’t see the correlation between the Virgin Mary and Sarah Connor (Sarah is also the wife of Abraham, the quintessential mother in the Bible), y’all are blind (she gets inseminated by an “angel” sent to protect her, by her own son, ergo God). Terminator Dark Fate didn’t become woke, it did what T2 started to do, it de-christianized its message for a wider audience (Hollywood doesn’t pander to white christian americans anymore in 2019, go figure). In both movies, Sarah isn’t the Virgin Mary anymore, she’s the mentor, she takes action and she changes her own future and that of billions of people: she becomes the saviour. In the sequel to TDF she obviously was supposed to be the mentor to the new saviour. By killing John, it gave the story back to Sarah and a new hope for the future, taking out some of those harmful tropes where women are only good to “birth” the father of the resistance and not be them. John Connor was never a character you were going to be satisfied with, because he’s an ideal. You liked the teen version, because he was a rebel-ish punk who did everything he wanted, had a motorcycle and a pet robot. You were never going to like the gritty future version of a man destroyed by everything and also he was never supposed to become that. All of Sarah’s struggles the moment she found out she was pregnant were to protect her son from that future. Hadn’t they killed him off in 1999, he would’ve just been a 45 year old drunk - that’s where his character was going after defeating Skynet.
It isn’t contraddictory to have another AI replace Skynet.
Skynet and Legion are a cautionary tale, they are false gods, Frankenstein’s creature and the devil. It’s not repetitive, it’s not something that can be prevented in full, because humanity IS on that path. Humanity wants to play God and Sarah and John’s effort to stop Skynet was silent, it was secret (despite Sarah’s efforts to have people believe her, nobody did). Do you really think it would be so difficult to imagine another company, working on a similar project, at the same time in the late 90s - early 2000s? The only weak point is the implication that Legion would occupy terminators and the same tactics as Skynet, but I’m guessing if Sarah has been killing Terminators in the past for 30 years, Legion could’ve “read” something about it and developed itself to fit the past or got inspired, I don’t know. It’s not that far-fetched to have another AI use the same tactics.
It introduced a new scary terminator, who is perfect for 2020
The Rev-9, like its predecessors, is an inflitration model (and that’s the only reason they cast a latin actor) who is built to hunt the same way the first two were, but it does it better: because 2020 is a scary time. The T-800 had to look on a phone book and kill three Sarah Connor before getting to the right one. This one? It needs a working internet connection.
Also, to all of you saying that politics should stay out of movies,
- the T-800 was an intimidating male hunting a defenseless woman
- the T-1000 was a cop hunting a supposed “crazy woman and criminal”
- the Rev-9 is an immigration officer hunting a defenseless immigrant.
not that hard to spot the similarities.
It answered the question “what happens to terminators when they fulfill their purpose?”
Arnie is old and that’s what made it so much more believable for me.
People keep using this quote from The Terminator to say how terrible writing and what a huge plot hole it was to make the T-800 a dad: “That Terminator is out there. It can't be reasoned with, it can't be bargained with...it doesn't feel pity of remorse or fear...and it absolutely will not stop.Ever. Until you are dead.”
Here’s a few reasons why their reasoning is biased:
First, off screen reason: this is the first movie, Cameron had no idea what would become of its own sequels. He hadn’t predicted Arnold would have such a following and I’m sure a re-programmed Terminator wasn’t in its plans. The first movie was about the horror of the terminator, we weren’t supposed to feel anything for it but fear, because its purpose was to scare us and nothing else.
Second, in-character reason: Kyle Reese is a soldier in the future. He has only seen these machines kill and maim and knows that, just because this one has skin and hair and muscle on its endo-skeleton, it isn’t less machine than the ones he has been fighting all of his life. He only knows this one’s worse: because he has a single purpose.
Third, non canon reason: Cameron from TSCC. Nobody was offended when she started to develop feelings for John in that series, why is everyone so offended by Carl now? Yeah. But it’s not canon, so let’s go to the last reason.
Fourth, canon, on-screen, in-character reason: THE WHOLE EFFING MOVIE YOU LOVE SO MUCH. Terminator 2 is all about the differences between the T-1000 and the T-800. Yes, it was re-programmed, but it wasn’t programmed to get attached to John, to learn from him, to almost act as a surrogate father, to give him a sign of their relationship as he was lowered to his death. It has been established machines can feel. Even the Rev-9, who’s still fully on mission, has a personality, the same way Patrick’s was. They exist, therfore they are. They have their own thoughts, their own doubts and that means they can develop a conscience and get attached. Carl says he doesn’t love his family the way a human would and it shows, the same way the T-800 from T2 didn’t love John like a Kyle Reese would have.
It gave us a new found family dynamic and used old tropes to tell new stories
Dani, Grace and Sarah have an amazing dynamic. Adding Carl to the mix was a bonus, because it created tension, but at the same time it gave us back that soft T-800 everyone of us fell in love with at 10-13 years old.
It did what TFA tried to do but better, imho. Star Wars fans were starved and when Disney made that movie, it still was considered a good producer of excellent content (now, not so much). TDF was produced by a variety of studios, because nobody wanted to take full responsibility after the disaster that was Genysis (and who could blame them?). Nobody praised TFA for its attempt to start a new saga, re-using ANH’s storyline with new characters and then build from there a new story, but it’s because they didn’t do it right. TFA doesn’t give you time to care about the characters, it’s a messy introduction of what could’ve been a very good trilogy if only they tried harder.
TDF, in my opinion, did try harder. It gave us a simple hunter-hunted storyline, where all of the cast is in the same place at the same time. This way, you can care about the development of their relationships. You care about Grace and Dani, not because the movie told you to, but because you can see Grace’s affection and ammiration from the very first scenes and, by the end, you see the affection Dani has for this stranger who’s sole purpose it taking care of her, when she’s so used to be the one to take care of others (see the first few scenes with her brother and father). You care about Dani and Sarah, because the whole movie builds up to the mentor storyline without telling you. You care about Carl and Sarah, because of all the build up from past movies, but also because of the little things (”I’m never f* calling you Carl” to calling him just that a few scenes later or Sarah calling out the Rev-9 by telling it, “we’re not machines”). Everything it did, it did without telling us what to feel and that’s rare in a world where franchises are constantly telling you who you should like and why, instead of writing a good story and letting you figure it out by yourself.
-----
It is not by far a perfect movie. Having 3 producing companies and six writers didn’t help, the same way it didn’t help that Tim Miller was basically ghost-directing for the ever-too-busy James Cameron.
It could have been better in many ways: firstly, by using smaller scenes and a smaller budget and maybe a little less CGI and a little more practical effects. It was too ambitous and fans hadn’t yet forgiven this franchise for Genysis, because fans are butthurt babies who only want things to be they way they want them (I hated Genysis, don’t get me wrong, but I decided if this movie was going to be worth it once they said it wouldn’t be a sequel and watched a couple of trailers, it isn’t that hard). Another reason it bombed, beside the active boycotting, was the close to absent promotion except for a couple of lines.
Anyway, this messy post is just to explain the reasoning why I believe it is a worthy sequel and, in my opinion, without the nostalgia goggles on and taking out of the equation the “originality” factor, I dare say it’s perfectly on par with The Terminator.

Oktoberfest 2019 Munich: Arnold Schwarzenegger conducts in the Marstall
A third clip shows, for example, Don Cheadle, not Schwarzenegger, who is waiting with a llama in front of an elevator. We don't get to see any more here, but we are sure that together it will create a great story that will ultimately lead to the type of beer. Or the events are so abstruse that a beer is necessary for a better understanding. Because the search for the pathogen has so far been unsuccessful, many fear the spread of a new disease. Unfortunately, the festival visitors will soon have to do without their star conductor again. The Terminator will be returning home on Tuesday. and Jackie Chan opened the burger chain "Planet Hollywood" in New York in 1991. "Nobody really wants to fight there" How does an average person feel in the madness of war? Oscar winner Sam Mendes shows in his world war film "1917" the rhythm of the battle and the feeling of powerlessness. Not only the good intentions are to blame, but also the Japanese Marie Kondo and her Netflix series. It teaches us how to fold blouses - and that too much possession weighs on the soul.
Individual Evidence [edit
In 2018, there were more attacks on police officers at the Oktoberfest. The moderators Carolin Reiber and Kai Pflaume enjoyed the beer. If you want to read the paid articles again, you can log in again at any time with your user name and password. The first point for us was to use the building blocks of the proteins and not the large molecules. total stranger Protein powder is very viscous, especially when you use it mixes, then it becomes milky. Someone here who saw the movie wrote that it wasn't said in the movie. So that a cock can not be excluded. Arnie reappears as the T-800, which, however, now lived among people for many years and adapted accordingly during this time. RTL Bachelorette Gerda Lewis also carried the label, in the earlier version of Meyer-Woelden's Lilly Becker and Barbara Meier. The Munich Oktoberfest means a state of emergency. In the mind too. An Italian was now stopped with 1.3 per thousand on the A8. Should I wear sandals barefoot? my new girlfriend advised me to buy trekking sandals because she thinks they are very comfortable summer shoes that can be combined well with a casual, sporty outfit. could I wear them with socks too? I would be embarrassed if everyone could see my big feet. Arnold Schwarzenegger, an Austrian-American actor and American politician, begins his career as a bodybuilder.

Car
Got a little free time, so I might as well get started on this one. Into the episode with the giant continuity error, because I distinctly remember them having a car before this episode. At least I’m about...95% sure they did.
Are weetabix anything like the mini-wheats cereal? Cuz, if so, I’d honestly like to get my mitts on some. Frosted mini-wheats have the best crunch, ever.
Also, I hate eating odd numbers of things. I maybe wouldn’t eat 20 giant wheat cracker things, but maybe...4?
Standing in the corner and howling is very #relatable. I get you, Arnie
Again with the fat jokes. Lovely.
No need to rub in Arnie’s lack of powers by doing an equipment test right then and there. George is worst cousin.
Still get a giggle out of that George and Ella interaction.
“No, don’t kiss me.”
“Thanks very much, Ella, I really appreciate that.”
I really think if left to their own devices, George and Stanley would get along. Even if they had to bond over not liking Ella.
Oh, the weird guy in the corner is friends with George? Not a shock.
There it is, the part about them not having a car. But, again, I coulda sworn they had one in an earlier episode.
Yeah, just checked. Janet’s getting groceries out of a car in the pilot episode.
Did they have to sell it?
OMG, George, stop talking. You look like the saddest gold-digger in the world. Mooching off someone as apparently broke as Janet.
“You make me ashamed of my sex!”
“Ella knows you try your best, Stanley.”
BRB, dying
Nice. Now there’s two howlers.
Poor Janet.
See, right there. Tyler does the same thing George does later, when he erases his own memory, while trying to remind himself not to talk about Thermoman. Like Tyler’s erasing his own memory.
Tyler is a transgender alien. Change my mind.
That poster of Piers is the definition of Cringe. But, also, yeah. No. The man is gorgeous, but I wouldn’t trust him to operate on anyone. No one should book a surgery with him.
But dear sweet fluffy LORD, this is precious!
The genuine smile. The jumping into the car like an excited kid.
The blue shirt.
Did he need to be a smug ass? No.
Do I enjoy seeing the precious actually happy? Yes.
Can’t say I blame Mrs Raven. Don’t want anyone in my face with the flu, either.
I get sick, I crumble like a jenga tower.
“There is no Mr Right. There’s only Mr Crap, Mr Tit, and their friend, Mr Total Tosser.”
Wisdom.
That is a beautiful tie.
And lookit Piers! For one brief moment, having none to give about anyone’s opinion.
Because he’s got a really flash car, and you haven’t.
“You needn’t worry, Mrs Raven. Janet says most germs are afraid of catching you.”
And Janet just...runs…
Again, howling in the corner is a totally normal reaction to having no money.
“I could clone myself, but we’d keep on fighting over who gets ya on a Saturday night.”
Retroactively disturbing line, considering Hilary the creeper clone.
WTF, George? Why did your mind jump straight to the idea that Janet was suggesting eating Arnie?
What the actual hell goes on up there on Ultron?
Aw, Janet and Arnie celebrating together. Another case of “could have been adorable friends.”
Except Arnie is a creep, so…
Yet again, Janet laughing at the weird alien custom.
Which, granted, does look like camp gay “I’m a little teapot,” but still. Rude.
Okay, I definitely see the fat Freddie Mercury resemblance.
Doesn’t mean I have to like the joke.
Also, frozen Janet is the stuff of nightmares. Is no one going to thaw her out?
I’m not 100% convinced Tyler isn’t hearing actual alien words in the radio static.
Poor thing. I know he meant “present life,” as in reincarnation, but I still think “faded memories of being Ultronian.”
This lady’s gold blouse is awesome.
But ew with Arnie looking through her clothes.
I know they immediately sniffed a disaster, but that alone should still have gotten him a warning. Considering his hero test question was about sexual harassment.
Piers has on a stupid hat. I love it.
It makes the boring shirt more attractive.
BUT! Dude bragging aside, bby, we all know you didn’t take any ladies for a “test drive.” Except in your own mind.
Bless. Janet and George are so happy about his four customers, but everyone else is completely unimpressed.
And the weirdest courting ritual in the world begins in 3

Mrs Raven gets bitchy, Arnie gets...a boner, apparently.
Insult. Insult. Hand lick. Both parties clearly need a cigarette.
I ship it.
And George basically just insulted Mrs Raven by saying it was fair how she hated everyone. And she just looks pleased as punch.
Bits of shipwreck all over the living room and helmets not in the helmet cupboard. You know your life is weird, when…
Um, no. Bad George. We don’t imply the little woman is a nag when she doesn’t want you trashing the house for her to clean up.
At least he cleaned up without complaining.
Oh, I love this part.
“She’s queen of here...YOU’VE STOLEN THE CROWN JEWELS!”
GDI, Arnie
And there went Janet’s morals completely out the window.
YOU’VE STOLEN THE CROWN JEWELS
But I want a car
Okay, theft is staying on the dl for now
Stanley doesn’t even blink at George wearing a crown. It’s just one more weird thing George does.
That was weirdly polite. “Oh, it’s you. You’ve come outta your corner.”
Like, nice to meet you, weird guy. What’s up.
Love that delayed reaction...oh. Wait. George is wearing a crown.
Oh, of course this weirdly similar crown isn’t part of the crown jewels.
Good thing George was so completely convinced of that, or Stanley probably wouldn’t have been.
Tyler still in the corner counting the oats. Apparently no one finds that a bit strange.
At least that guy behind him threw some side eye at calling George “master.”
Also, I would dearly love it if I could find a magical alien healer to fix everything that is fubared in my stupid body.
No more broken thyroid gland. No more kidney pain. No more stress puking.
Sounds fake.
Mrs Raven wanting the phone to ring, then getting annoyed when it does, is me bored outta my mind and wishing someone would text. Then resenting it.
Janet’s face says she really believes Mrs Raven would kill all the patients and bury them in the car park.
“Bye, baby, daddy’ll see you very soon.”
I react to this the same way I react to bearded Hugh swinging his belt on Taskmaster.
Incoherent whimpering and nail biting, mostly. At the calmer end.
Jesus!
Okay, I’m cool.
“I am always...we’ve got no patients.”
Blue! Shirt!
It’s not nice to say sexy things while wearing a blue shirt. Sir. Not fair.
I’m fine.
Piers just watching Arnie and Mrs Raven’s mating ritual like...wtf am I seeing here? And then just nodding, like, yeah, that was definitely the most disturbing flirting I’ve ever seen. I’m leaving before it gets worse….
Wait…
Is George curing my patients?
How very dare he? The nerve!
Mrs Raven’s little quick change with the stolen scarf. I think it has to be in the lost and found more than one week before you can claim it, ya know.
Bless him, I think Piers is going to cry. And back to caring what everyone thinks, again.
Another thing that was nice while it lasted.
Theft cat is out of the bag. But he’s right. That is one ugly necklace.
Even if all that stuff was just stolen and hidden in their flat that day, how did no one notice a bedroom full of corgis? They’d surely have started barking at some point.
Rule of funny.
George at least has more morals than Janet.
I mean, I know a car would be useful, but I can’t believe either of them trusted Arnie in the first place.
Howling sadly in the corner is contagious. Poor Janet. Nice going, George. Just couldn’t be a little more optimistic, could you?
Lovely problematic cinnamon roll in a blue shirt is at the door.
“You have all my patients, I want them back….Not that I like them, they just go with the job.”
I love him.
If looks could kill, I’d have murdered Janet and George ten times over by now.
Couldn’t just take the check and get yourselves any old car.
No.
I mean, someone hands me 8k, I’m not gonna be a greedy prick about it.
But, it’s the throat-clearing and the slumped shoulders that Piers has going on, while handing over his car keys. Like a little kid that just got conned out of his favorite toy.
And the fidgety hands.
God save me from this man’s little sad hand fidgets.
“Can we give you a lift?”
You ever see A Fish Called Wanda? The way whenever Otto crashes his car into someone else’s he always screams “asshoooooooooole!”
That’s me, rn.
I mean, I laughed the first time. But that was before...the incident. The moment that changed everything.
Also, flying the car over traffic isn’t very subtle and secret-identity.
Douchebags.
