Why can't people just let others live without trying to make them change their bodies?
Theres something really insidious about how gastric bypass advocates deny that essential organ mutilation is unhealthy.
"I've lost so much weight I'm so healthy" your stomach is mutilated.
"My doctor is praising my progress" your stomach is mutilated.
"I fit in so many more clothes now"
Because an essential, life sustaining organ in your body was cut up and your digestive system rerouted.
Health isn't the end all be all of value, humanity or importance but I feel like there is a huge lie here when this is "healthy" and it's just ignored.
Sorry to just bring this up out of no where but I was reminded of how little this is really talked about in bypass circles. Like, no matter what, you are now unhealthy. The spector of health continues. The Ouroboros is unbroken. Only this time it's doctor approved.

Lifeguard Off Duty: Chapter 6

Bradley lumbered out of Muffin Tops with a box full of donuts, muffins, and coffee cake, and saddled into his car. Slipping a hand underneath his pale pink polo shirt he scratched near his belly button, a spot that had been intensely itchy the last few days. As he pulled out of the parking lot he grabbed a chocolate donut from the box and chomped down on it. Six months ago he would’ve been disgusted with the thought of purchasing a box full of pastries first thing in the morning, but lately this had become his routine.
Bradley could no longer deny the fact that he had gotten fat. Only a few inches separated his belly from the steering wheel, and the closer he got to work the more donut crumbs collected on the crest of his gut. About fifteen pounds ago he had a minor freak out about the weight. Having avoided weighing himself for over a month, he casually stepped on the scale one day at Peter’s house and the number that appeared sent him spiralling. However, Peter quickly stepped in with words of reassurance.
Bradley wasn’t completely obtuse to the fact that Peter was attracted to his curves. There was no denying how hard the lean stud became when he slapped Bradley’s gelatinous rear during sex, or gripped his wobbling belly as they fucked. Once in a while Peter would even playfully jiggle Bradley’s thighs or tickle his love handles. But in the midst of Bradley’s melt down, Peter lent words of encouragement, not only about how much he enjoyed the extra weight on his new boyfriend but also that he enjoyed Bradley no matter how he looked. He even confessed to helping the weight gain along with his lavish dinners. Bradley retorted with fears of ill health and ending up like Eric or Malcom, but Peter reassured him that Bradley still went to the gym and was fit. There was nothing wrong with being fat, and over time Bradley began to agree.
Coming to terms with his newfound girth allowed him to relax a bit when it came to his diet and, not surprisingly, he gained several pounds within only a few weeks. Eric was no longer the only employee in the office who made Muffin Tops Bakery a part of their morning routine. As Bradley pulled into the parking lot of his office building he grabbed one more donut from the box and scarfed it down quickly. Although he had very obviously gained a lot of weight, he still didn’t feel entirely comfortable pigging out too much in front of the whole office.
Even still, by the end of the day only crumbs remained in his box of pastries. The days events left Bradley particularly exhausted come 5pm and although it was his usual leg day at the gym, he decided to forgo working out. Ever since Peter and Bradley had become an official couple they were spending most nights together, and this evening was no different. They each had a key to the other’s place and Bradley could usually count on returning home from a long day’s work to a full course meal. Not surprisingly, as he stepped into his apartment savory aromas encompassed him.
“Woah there sexy,” Peter exclaimed upon seeing his lover. “Putting on a show are we?”
“No more than usual my dear.”
“Oh I think there’s more than usual! This isn’t on purpose?”
“What do you mean?”
“Your belly’s hanging out of that shirt a good two inches, babe,” Peter grabbed his boyfriend’s bulk and gave it a rough squeeze.
“Holy shit, I had no idea. I didn’t feel a thing! Fuck, I hope it wasn’t like this all day.”
“This shirt is practically the color of your skin, so I bet no one would even notice.”
After dinner and a sexy romp in the bedroom the couple passed out curled up in one another’s arms. Bradley awoke the next morning to his stomach growling. Wobbling naked to the kitchen he grabbed some leftovers from the fridge and inhaled them still half asleep. Twenty minutes and a frothy shower later he was squeezing into a pair of new black denim pants. Despite fitting like a glove, they were still uncomfortable as the stiffness of waistband chafed against his muffin top. Bradley grabbed a button-up with a grid pattern from his closet and sucked in as he did the buttons. The shirt left little to the imagination, but he was past the point of caring.
As he waited in line at Muffin Tops Bakery his stomach began to growl again. His appetite was in overdrive lately and gazing upon baked goods did not help. As he licked his lips considering what to order a familiar face appeared before him. It was Diego, one of his former employees when he was head lifeguard about a year ago. Although Bradley had fired Diego for gaining too much weight, he was still shocked to see Diego’s body. After all this time, it looked like Diego’s physique had never bounced back.
“Diego?” Bradley said.
Diego stared at Bradley with a look of befuddlement.
“Diego… it’s me, Bradley. Your former boss.”
“Oh my god, Bradley. You…”
Bradley felt his face flush red as he realized that he’d grown unrecognizably fat. Awkwardly acknowledging the situation, he replied, ““Yeah, you’re not the only one who got thick.”
“I… well, I mean, yeah married life and running a bakery has done a number on my waistline,” Diego said with a profound confidence as he gripped both sides of his fattened belly and gave it a hearty jiggle.
Bradley was taken aback by Diego’s confidence and somewhat flirtatious demeanor and decided to play along, “No shit, you run this place? That’s amazing dude, I live for your peanut brittle. Come here a few times a week before work. I uh, got promoted to an office position at city hall… Hence this gut hangin’ off of me.”
Bradley watched Diego’s eyes lustfully scan his own body as he scanned Diego’s. Judging by Diego’s upper body, it appeared he was still hitting the weights at the gym but avoiding any cardio. The former lifeguard had impressively broad shoulders and a bulky chest, albeit covered in a layer of fat criss crossed with stretch marks. A flimsy muscle tee draped over his shoulders exposed the majority of his upper body and clung tightly to his round muscle gut. Bradley was nowhere near skinny, but Diego’s gut put his own to shame.
“Hey Adrian, give my friend here the employee discount from now on,” Diego shouted and turned to face Bradley. “From one former lifeguard to another: you look better with some chunk, Bradley,” Diego said and patted Bradley’s belly. “I gotta head out but I’ll see you around. Enjoy yourself,” he said with a wink.
Bradley was shocked and slightly aroused. He turned around and watched as Diego’s ass, barely concealed beneath skimpy basketball shorts, wobbled out of the bakery.

This is what four years looks like 🤯🤯 BUT. Not 4 years of dieting!! On the left (March 2015) I weighed 103 pounds and my goal was always to get stronger and have more muscle mass. Over the last four years I’ve spent the majority of my time actually eating at maintenance/slightly above, with a few bulking and cutting seasons here and there. But what if I told you my maintenance back then was 1800 cals and now it’s 2250 🧐 this happens because I got BIGGER! I have more muscle mass, therefore my caloric expenditure is higher by default. I think where a lot of people go wrong is they want to simultaneously “lose fat and build muscle” (not possible) so they just start dieting after not having a solid foundation of muscle underneath. IT TAKES TIME! → So do you HAVE to track macros to make it happen?! 🤨 that depends. Is your mental health in check? Are you obsessively worried about 5g of carbs? Are you afraid to gain weight? If the answer to any of those is “yes”, then I would suggest to reconsider tracking. However, the reason it can be beneficial is to make sure that you’re correctly in a deficit (if you’re looking to lose fat) or a surplus (if you’re looking to gain muscle). And it’s obviously a great way to measure progress. I haven’t tracked constantly over the last 4 years; there’s been breaks and vacations and funks and all that good stuff that life brings 🤪 but most importantly I was patient. Building muscle naturally takes YEARS, not a few months, and you have to be okay with the scale going up! This is almost a TWENTY POUND DIFFERENCE! 😱 And above all else, the relationship that you have with yourself and your body needs to come first. If tracking makes you miserable, don’t do it! If doing a specific diet makes you miserable, maybe reconsider?! Fat Twig: Part 1
Pen wasn’t the most outstanding contestant. He had never been involved in any type of fight or scandal in the show, and his personality could be summed as average, but if you asked anyone about what they know about him most of them would answer the same thing.
He was really, really, skinny.
Pen didn’t know why, maybe it was his freakishly fast metabolism, or the fact that he didn’t really ate a lot, unlike his other two best friends, Eraser and Blocky, which were more chubbier in comparison.
But he didn’t have any kind of muscle, so he looked like a beanpole to many people. He didn’t really mind all the comments about his slender body, but he would still want to bulk up some extra body mass.
He was currently standing on his room in dream island, admiring himself in the mirror. He stood there shirtless, flexing in order to find even the smallest sign of muscle under his almost-underweight body.
No matter how much Pen wanted to deny it, he was skinny as shit, and there wasn’t even the tiniest sign of any kind of muscle under his arms.
He sighed in defeat. Pen sat in his best, completely disappointed. He took off the blue cap that he always wore.and put it in the nightstand.
“Man… I wish I could bulk up like Blocky and Eraser…”
He suddenly felt his stomach rumbling. How long was he checking himself out in the mirror?
“Maybe I should eat something…”
He got dressed and went down to the cafeteria. Dream island was what the Announcer promised- a paradise of luxury built to fulfill any kind of fantasy the owner wanted, but to everyone’s surprise the mix of the six different restaurants and the robot servants obviously let all the contestants indulge of a lifestyle of laziness.
The change wasn’t noticeable at first. The contestants’ stomach only had gained a small chunk of flab, but as the months went by all of Dream island’s inhabitants started to pack on the pounds.
Apparently, Pen was the only one that wasn’t affected- Snowball had gained even more fat than he already had, Woody had gained enough weight to allow a muffin top to show through his clothes, and Firey had been the most affected out of the bunch. His usual slender, skinny stomach transformed into an actual gut. He seemed pleased with his new body, even if he got weird looks from everyone else, and that was only three out of all the other folks that had gained weight.
Pen grabbed himself a sandwich out of the buffet and sat in the chairs of the cafeteria. Like everything else in dream island, it was a snow-like white color. It seemed like more like a palace than a resort.
He started to munch on the sandwich. With one bite grease started to stain his plain white shirt. Every single food in the island was filled with as many calories as possible. Even something as simple as a sandwich was fattening. The bread was buttered up, it had at least five stripes of greasy bacon, ham, chicken strips, and no sign of vegetables.
As he slowly ate the greasy sandwich Eraser and Blocky sat beside him- Eraser’s tight pink tank top didn’t manage to cover his belly button. Blocky’s red jacket wasn’t able to be zipped, and the white shirt underneath it seemed more like a glorified bra for his man boobs.
“Hey, Pen! How you doing?” Eraser put his arm around Pen, making his gut press against the brunette.
Pen blushed as he felt Eraser’s load of body mass pressing against him. Eraser’s gut was like dough, soft and malleable. “I-I’m doing good!”
Blocky stuffed an entire chocolate donut into his mouth. “Still deciding to not eat jack shit?” He talked with his mouth full, making crumbs fall over his shirt.
Pen nervously chuckled. “Y-yeah… although I’m planning to bulk up a little…” He looked down to his chest, realising he hadn’t made any kind of improvement to gain any kind of muscle mass. He took another bite out of the sandwich, all the greasy meat being chewed and going down his throat.
“Well, eating a single sandwich for breakfast won’t help you any time soon.” Blocky got up and slowly went towards the buffet. “I’m gonna get you something to eat.”
Pen nervously fiddled with his fingers. He didn’t know why, but the way Eraser and Blocky acted at their newfound weight made him feel… weird, but not in a bad way. The good kind of “weird”- something he couldn’t explain. “O-okay…” While Blocky went to the buffet he slowly finished the sandwich, grease spreading across all his hands.
He looked over to the side. Eraser was shoving pancakes into his mouth, not bothering to close his mouth as he chewed. His tank top was just inches away of ripping to shreds. Pen didn’t know why seeing both of his best friends mindlessly eating was… hot. Very hot.
Blocky came back with a tray filled with food- four greasy sandwich like the one Pen was eating, two milkshakes and a muffin. “Here you go!”
“W-wow! All this food for me?! Wow!” Pen was a blushing mess. He had never been more pampered in his life.
Blocky smirked, finding Pen’s reaction cute. “Go on, buddy. Eat up!”
Pen grabbed a napkin and put it around the first sandwich. He took a bite, earning a smile out of his two best friends. He had a hard time eating it, since the sandwich was bigger than the average sandwich he ate during his days in the TLC and the LOL.
Despite having a napkin grease was still smeared all across the brunette’s shirt. Pen accidentally let a moan slip as he forced the sandwich down his throat, but he was too dazed by his own food-driven trance. He didn’t even realize that Eraser and Blocky were helping him to push down the sandwich down his throat.
Pen, somehow, managed to finish the sandwich by slowly chewing it and swallowing. There was not a single moment where his mouth wasn’t full. “Phew… t-that was a lot.”
Eraser had a devilish smile on his face. “Aw… but you gotta eat the rest of your breakfast…” He, along with Eraser pushed the second sandwich into Pen’s mouth.
Pen rubbed his stomach as he felt it being filled, while the pair helped him chew and swallow.
He rolled his eyes in pleasure as he felt meat being shoved down his throat. Pen didn’t know why, but the feeling of being helpless while his best friends mercilessly forced him to eat made him feel amazing, almost erotic-like.
When he finished, Pen burped. Nobody looked at him, having grown accustomed to burps being constantly spewed by all the contestants who stuffed themselves beyond their usual limit.
He didn’t even put any kind of resistance when he felt Blocky grabbing his chin and lifting his face up while Eraser poured the entire milkshake into his mouth.
Moans started to slip more often as Eraser and Blocky continued to force food down their best friend’s throat.
Finally, only the single muffin remained. Pen’s stomach was bright red and stretched like an over inflated balloon. He had never eaten so much before. He was soaking wet with arousal as he rubbed his stomach.
Eraser lifted up the muffin and put it near Pen’s mouth. “Come on… eat.”
Pen hesitantly opened his mouth and chewed. His stomach was about to rupture, and he had never felt more aroused in his life.
Eraser patted Pen’s bloated stomach. “Good boy…”
They carried him to his bed and left him on his bed, almost passed out. They stood on the outside of Pen’s room, both of them incredibly aroused.
Blocky bit his lip. “He’s so cute when he’s trying to shove food down his own throat…”
“I know! I wonder… If we can help him pack on the pounds…” Eraser had a perverted smile on his face, dripping with lust.
“You just read my mind…”

Never a Dull Moment [2/?]

Summary: In which the land of untold stories should have been a warning that it wasn’t just fairytales that were real.
Warnings: Killian Injured with Henry protecting and taking care of him. Also there will more than likely be medical inaccuracies here, but I did try and look up some stuff beforehand… (so I hope it’s not too terrible). Also wanted to say that this is mostly whump without a whole lot of plot because I just wanted to see a moment where it’s just Killian and Henry, and where it’s Henry’s turn to shine and be the hero and save our pirate in distress (This could also be the thing that gave Henry the idea of wanting to go off and find his own story to stay canon compliant with season 7). Slappy and the plant monster were only a plot device to get Henry and Killian to this point; they are mentioned again, I promise, but I won’t really be delving into the chaos that is Storybrooke and how the others are handling it while the two are missing.

Chapter 2: Toto, Where the Hell Are We?
For the third time, Henry felt the air whoosh out of his lungs as his back made contact with hard ground. The wounds on his hands and arms nagged for attention, everything else screamed and ached within him and for one selfish moment, he just laid there, staring blankly up into the foliage of palm fronds and tree leaves overhead, before finally rolling to take in their surroundings.
They were in a forest, that much was obvious, but it was the sweltering humidity that clung to his skin and caused the sweat to already begin beading from his pores, that had Henry tensing involuntarily.
Another realm; a forest filled mostly with palm trees; heat and humidity….
Gods no.
Please no.
Anywhere but Neverland.
All at once the world began to close in on him; the panic creeping in and his breathing coming out short and rugged as the environment triggered memory after unpleasant memory. The kidnapping, the manipulation, the near death experience, the fear; it pressed heavily on his chest and deprived him of oxygen, and somewhere in the back of his mind it dawned on him that he was suffering from a full blown panic attack.
Heathens something hissed in his head. Lawless, leaderless, demons it persisted; nagging at him to remember.
That’s right...
There were still lost boys here; monsters who had nearly added a fourth tick to his father’s death count.
The thought of them somehow gave Henry the strength to roll for his sword and stand; half expecting the hellions to burst out of the undergrowth at any moment and surround them. Black spots danced in his vision and his arms shook for an entirely different reason as he pivoted in a circle, trying desperately to hear footsteps over the sounds of the forest.
Nothing.
Nothing but bird song and the skittering of critters too light to be human.
It was at this point that he really took stock of the forest backdrop, at the flora that ornamented some of the shrubs and peppered across the ground. The Flora that didn’t quite match Neverland’s M.O. for innocent—otherworldly—but deadly. In fact, the more he looked, the more he realized this couldn’t be Neverland. There was no lingering scent of salt on the breeze from the sea, nor could he smell the putrid aroma of Neverlion weeds that populated nearly the entire island.
And the more he took notice of these differences, the more the fog around his mind began to clear. The black spots slowly receded, his muscles stopped shaking, and the heavy weight against his chest began to lift.
He was back in control of himself again.
With one final deep breath to shake loose the residual tendrils of panic, he pivoted and made his way over to the carcass of the fly trap; only to find during either the fall or harsh landing that Killian had been dislodged from its jaw and landed in a heap a few feet away.
“Dad?” he uttered as he approached and crouched by his side. “Dad?”
When he gained no response, Henry pushed on his shoulder until the pirate limply flopped onto his back; the knot in his throat disappearing only when he saw the shallow rise and fall of Killian’s chest.
Alive, unconscious; but more importantly: not dead.
With that particular load lifted off his shoulders, he began to assess the injuries visible to him; cursing under his breath at where the thorns had pierced his abdomen. Gently, Henry pushed the bloodied fabric of Killian’s vest and button-up shirt aside to inspect the lesions; each roughly half an inch in diameter and hopefully no deeper than the first or second knuckle of his pinky finger. But what worried him more than something internal being punctured or ruptured was the festering skin around the rim; where the plants saliva had begun to slowly eat away at the flesh like acid.
Moving farther down, Henry cringed at Killian’s lower half; finding his legs in an equal state of distress. There were multiple gaping, melted, holes in his jeans, and the exposed skin he could see underneath was red and raw and beginning to bubble and blister much like the lesions on his abdomen.
The weight of the entire situation came crashing back down against his shoulders, and he vented his frustrations with a few more choice expletives (curses that would surely have scandalized Regina and more than likely would have had him grounded and the pirate hung by his toes from the branches of her apple tree). He didn’t know where they were or the amount of danger they still might face here. Knew that being this out in the open was a terrible idea, but Killian was just heavy enough that Henry knew he’d struggle with carrying him; and he feared the amount of irreversible damage he could do if he jostled him around too much to bother trying. He knew a good amount of first aid (mostly out of necessity and partly because he and his mother had quickly found out Killian, for all his swagger, was naturally clumsy in a relaxed setting) but he wasn’t a doctor.
He didn’t know how to fix this.
Glancing at the tattered, contaminated clothes and the festering skin, he amended that earlier thought, for there was at least one thing he knew he could do.
Remembering the safety procedure drilled into his head when he had taken Chemistry last year; Henry began to unbuckle Killian’s belt and sent a silent prayer to whatever deity listening that the pirate wasn’t going commando underneath the ruined denim.
He knew it wasn’t wise to expose the wounds for fear of infection, but he also knew that not removing the contaminated apparel would make the situation far worse. It was the lesser of two evils; he mused as he averted his eyes and began the tedious struggle of shucking the unnecessarily tight skinny jeans as gently as he could. He held his breath every time the material would catch, cringing in sympathy when the disturbance would cause Killian to twitch or whimper, but the pain never doing much more to rouse him from his unconscious state. Mercifully—thank the gods for small miracles—the man was wearing boxer-briefs, the cotton material blessedly unharmed and not saturated in the mucusy acid as he began divesting him of his vest and shirt next (leaving the leather brace on after a brief mental debate and inspection that showed the dried hide looked untouched as well).
The next step would have been to thoroughly rinse the skin, but he couldn’t hear any nearby water sources and even if he had, Henry was still left with the difficult situation of what to do. He still didn’t want to move him much more than he already had, but he also couldn’t just leave him unprotected and vulnerable to go find one either.
(Not for the first time did Henry wish he had magic. Magic would have made both their lives a little easier to endure right now).
Once again picking the lesser of two evils, he struggled to get all five-feet-eleven-inches and one-hundred-and-ninety-odd pounds worth of deadweight pirate onto his back (increasingly becoming more and more anxious that he wasn’t getting anything more out of his dad than a few whimpered groans), and proceeded to head off in a random direction in the hopes of finding help or water.
As he moved, his knees threatened to buckle under the added bulk, the struggle made even harder as he tried to keep Killian supported with his left arm while his right hand kept a firm hold of the broadsword. He was exhausted. He was worried. His arms hurt both from strain and his own wounds sustained in battle. He was concerned for the man he loved like a second father. He was concerned for the rest of the family back home, their fate and the battle completely unknown to him.
It was all too much to process on a day that should have been exciting and stress free.
The quiet groan, and what sounded like the breathy exhale of his name, had Henry pausing in his stumbling, laborious, trek roughly fifteen minutes later. He couldn’t twist his head around enough to look, not with the weight nearly bending him forward and the biceps of Killian’s arms framing either side of his face. He held his breath, expecting to hear it again, but when it didn’t come, he chalked it up to his hopes getting the best of him and pushed onward.
“Hen—ry…” came the breathy slur of his name once more.
“Dad?” he froze, his hope doing summersaults in his chest that the man was finally waking up.
“Hen…ry?” it was still barely above a whisper, but the sound and the sluggish flinch of sinew moving beneath skin as his once limp arm clumsily wrapped cross his chest to steady himself, was enough to nearly floor him with relief. “Hen…ry?”

It’s nice when you get properly introduced to a character who is very your speed. AlCharlie requested a TF into Yangus from Dragon Quest VIII. I’ve never played DQ in any respect, aside from borrowing Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker from a friend once during a long bus ride. I kind of knew about Yangus from seeing him around, but researching him for this story made me realize how very much my type he is - burly, a heart of gold, and a cockney accent. What a man.

He'd been called into the office by the HR manager and "delicately" informed that they would have to let him go due to budget concerns. They would have really liked to keep him on and all that, but unfortunately they couldn't afford to...a load of shit, basically.
He'd spent a good, long, time at this office, doing good quality work as far as he was concerned. No-one had complained about him, his work had never been the subject of scrutiny. He'd patiently waited for promotions that never came, moves up the career ladder that never happened, and after all that time, all that effort appeasing his corporate bosses...at the end of it all, they had taken a look at their money, him and his colleagues, and had decided to themselves that Al was the most expendable.
So here he was, an hour later outside the building, with no job and no clear future. The rain began to drip down as he began shuffling home. He didn't bother covering his head.
Now that it was finally starting to sink in what this meant, he was beginning to feel the anger that he would've felt in the office much earlier. He had kept himself to himself at the time, spending the last 50 minutes on autopilot - because if he hadn't, he would've flipped a table and broken all of the computers in a rage. Him? Budget concerns, worries over keeping what they needed to keep, and they'd put HIM on the chopping block? Bullshit. He knew better than anyone that it was all office politics. If they actually had reasonable motivations, they would've been cutting that fucking kid in IT who was clearly just spending all his day playing Fallout 4 in the server room. But no, they couldn't do that, because he was the boss's kid.
He could feel the anger boiling up in him now, as he gripped his shirt that was gradually getting wetter with a thick hand. He wanted to lash out and break something right here, but he'd probably just end up stubbing his toe on a fire hydrant. The crowds of people walking by, clearly completely unbothered by what was going to happen in the future were getting him madder. He needed to get out of here. He took a hard left through an empty alleyway.
Al gripped at the sleeves of his blazer, not caring that his pulling had just made them rip at the seams. All he could think about was how he'd just been screwed over. Those damn...corporate assholes...all they cared about was themselves, and screw anyone else. Getting richer was the only thing that mattered to them. They'd been born into money, had never lived without money, and only spent their lives trying to get more and more money by exploiting the people working for them, so they could die and leave it their kids, who would grow up just the same as their parents, just accumulating more money endlessly, while anyone who wasn't rich just begged at their feet for scraps.
The left hand sleeve of the blazer tore away completely, and Al tossed it to the ground. He didn't care. He'd been meaning to get something better fitting anyway, so it wasn't like anyone would mind. Besides, his body was about to get way too big for it anyway. He'd never been a particularly thin guy, but something strange was happening to his body, as he angrily stewed in the thoughts about those that had messed up his life.
He was starting to pack on quite a bit more fat, but it was coming from nowhere. He wasn't eating anything, yet his belly was pushing out further, gaining in weight, now making his shirt stretch like his jacket. His back was beginning to broaden, his shoulders packing on a bit of muscle to hold up his belly. His hairline was receding, both on top and round the back of his head, the hairs either falling away off his body, or pulling back into his body. His face was softening, his cheeks plumping slightly, becoming chubbier. He'd shaved this morning, but the stubble was growing back in, little hairs pushing out along his chin and over his lip.
His clothes weren't immune to these changes. More buttons popped off his shirt as his weight increased - but rather than finding himself concerned by his big weight gain, Al was simply bothered by the fact that his shirt didn't seem to be doing the job. Deciding to get it over with, he grabbed at edges of the shirt, and pulled it open, not caring about whether he broke the buttons or not. He wouldn't need things like crappy work shirts where he was going. He pulled the shirt out from under his torn blazer, pulling his arms out of the sleeves, before dumping the shirt on the ground.
Now that his bare arms were revealed, it could be seen that his skin was darkening slightly. Not hugely, but he was beginning to gain a tan - something that should've been impossible on a rainy day like this. Across his arms, his exposed chest (which was gaining a little bit of hair itself), and his face, his skin was turning more of a sunkissed bronze. His arms were bulking a bit in size, a combination of fat and muscle, plumping them, making them fit his expanding body better. Al took a sharp intake of breath as he felt a slash of pain across his left bicep, and an open wound appeared there. However, before long, the skin was knitting back together, fixing the wound, until it was a scar that looked like it had been there for years.
His torn, formally too small blazer had, however, seemed to grow to accomodate Al's new size. The cotton fibers of the cheap blazer were now changing, the threads coming undone and sticking out at strange angles.
