◞ 🌹 ﹒ He wanted the date to feel low-effort while secretly putting a ridiculous amount of effort into it.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ First, he picked up that perfume you liked, because even if you said it was whatever, he knew you actually wanted it.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ Then, he reserved a table at that dessert place you kept talking about. He acted like it was no big deal, but this place had a waitlist. He somehow got in. Don’t ask how.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ He also bought you something small—something he knew you wouldn’t expect. When he saw that limited-edition keychain of your favorite character, he grabbed it immediately, even though he rolled his eyes at himself afterward. What am I, a simp?

◞ 🌹 ﹒ ( Yes. Yes, he is. But he’ll never admit it. )

◞ 🌹 ﹒ He wasn’t nervous about the date itself. He was nervous about making sure you felt how much he cared—without him having to actually say it out loud.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ Suna was already at the meeting spot when you arrived, leaning against a wall with his hands in his pockets, looking effortlessly cool like this was just another normal day.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ “Took you long enough,” he muttered when he saw you, but the small smirk on his lips gave him away.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ He refused to tell you where you were going, just leading you down the street with his usual lazy pace. “You’ll see,” was all he said when you asked.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ When you finally arrived at the dessert place, your eyes widened. You had been talking about coming here for weeks, but you never actually got around to it.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ You glanced at him suspiciously. “Did you—?”

◞ 🌹 ﹒ “Tch. Don’t make a big deal out of it,” he muttered, looking away. Embarrassed? Maybe. Cute? Definitely.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ The two of you spent the next hour taste-testing different desserts, with Suna making dry, sarcastic comments about the over-the-top presentation.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ “Why does this cake look like modern art? I feel like I should be analyzing its deeper meaning instead of eating it.”

◞ 🌹 ﹒ “That macaron is the size of a coin. It costs how much?”

◞ 🌹 ﹒ Despite all his complaining, he still ordered extra for you and acted like it was totally for himself.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ At one point, when you got a bit of whipped cream on your lip, he reached out and wiped it away with his thumb, completely unbothered.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ “What?” he said, noticing your stunned expression. “You looked stupid with it there.”

◞ 🌹 ﹒ After dessert, the two of you walked around for a while, the cool evening air making the moment feel a little more surreal. He wasn’t rushing anything, just walking at his own pace, completely at ease beside you.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ “Hold this,” he said at one point, shoving a small bag into your hands.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ You blinked, looking inside—and froze.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ It was the perfume. The one you had offhandedly mentioned but never expected to own.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ “Rin,” you started, but he cut you off with a lazy shrug.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ “It was on sale,” he lied. (It was not on sale. He paid full price.)

◞ 🌹 ﹒ That’s when you noticed something else in the bag—a small keychain. Your favorite character. The one that had sold out weeks ago.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ You looked up at him, your chest feeling weirdly warm. “…You’re lying.”

◞ 🌹 ﹒ He sighed dramatically. “So ungrateful. Should’ve kept the receipt.”

◞ 🌹 ﹒ But when you reached out and slipped your fingers into his, lacing them together without saying anything, he went completely still.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ For a second, he just stared at your joined hands, his face unreadable. And then, finally, he let out a small, barely-there chuckle, giving your hand a light squeeze.

◞ 🌹 ﹒ “Guess that means I did okay, huh?”

◞ 🌹 ﹒ He didn’t let go for the rest of the night.

I am very normal (autistic) about merchandise and this post from Morgana is hurting my head.

Why are they using only YouTube views to gage what character should receive merch?? Why cannot they do a Billboard and use YouTube Music, Spotify, and Apple music plays for popularity of a character?

Why are using views in the first place? Why not Google Trends because not every fan is listening to the soundtrack via YouTube or/and likes every song. I am in the small minority, I do not like the soundtrack at all because I like good music /lh.

Is this the norm musical or music-based shows to use YouTube views of the songs to see if a character is popular or not?

I know SU does not have a lot of merch but imagine if Cartoon Network did something like for SU by using the YouTube views of certain songs to determine if that character gets merch or not.

Alastor already got so much merch in the pilot era compared to Charlie who is the main character (this chart has not been updated since July of 2024, the percentage is probably higher now).

Call me a conspiracy theorist with a tinfoil hat but I am calling bullshit. Alastor and Lucifer get the most merch because of shipping, and they are Viv's favorites (Al is already a creator's pest to some and Lucifer is slowly becoming that too).

They are the only single characters in the V-Day merch while the other characters are magnetic keychains (even Cherry and Pentious are not a couple), they share a hoodie together like Charlie and Vaggie, and they are included in the friendship bracelets set.

The state of the merchandise is just sad compared to the stuff Sharkrobot was releasing before the show dropped. They have better variety and do more than pins, keychains, shirts, and posters.

I buy current official merch second-hand, and it is crazy how much old pilot-era SR merch goes for (of course it does not help that SR only does limit edition merch and never re-makes stuff).

I feel bad for new fans having to pay crazy, outlandish prices (over $200-$500 for a pin or a desk mat of a character they are a fan of because they barely have any official merch.

I did say I was done drawing new things for Etsy this year but then the Arcane finale happened and I really wanted lil Viktor and Jayce keychains but I couldn't decide what versions of them to draw... So I just did all of them instead. Oh no... that's a lot of keychains... But it means you get to pick your favourite era/s of these little guys, carry them with you, spin them around, make em smooch, the possibilities are endless.

Thank you to my Twitch chat for helping me decide how to make 14 drawings into keychains, they voted on having Viktor on one side and Jayce on the other with the silhouettes behind them.

The keychains are open for preorder, I've started them at 24 of each available, and the stickers are in stock and will be shipped as normal. The keychains have the block-coloured silhouette of the other character behind them, the stickers do not. The keychains are approximately 2" tall and have gun metal (black/dark grey) heart shaped keyrings attached.

And a reminder that my Viktor and Jayce flower portrait wooden pins are back up for preorder after selling out, and I still have my previous Arcane stickers and customisable badges up on my Etsy.

pattern test for a larger project :3 I'm going to make the final version much larger because my faux fur is quite thick so I'll probably spring for actual safety eyes and nose for that, but at this point janky embroidery on the prototypes is just tradition lol

I love the muzzle shape on this pattern though! It's quite tricky (especially scaled down like this) because there are a lot of small precise edges to connect but it has a much more realistic shape than the average plush cat pattern.

I know Netflix is garbage, but I am so tired of all the bullshit with official Nocturne Olrox merch. He's available on precisely two (technically three if you count the blu-ray) things: a blind box keychain set where you have a 1 in 11 chance to get him and it's over $100 to get an assured chance of getting him, and an expensive statue. So we've got gambling, and now Dark Horse Direct had manufacturing issues and have had to cancel pre-orders for the statue (though they've said they're going to put up pre-orders for it again soon).

Like... could you idiots at Netflix just design more merch of him? He's really popular.
