just realised i never did wind up explaining to @kata4a wtf a university chaplaincy is
#so originally it was p much what it says on the box i believe#but within Kit memory they have more been providers of vaguely-defined secular pastoral services#such as counselling and yoga and mindfulness meditation#sometimes they also sort of see themselves as the ‘conscience’ of a university#eg the one in Manchester was the first part of either university it serves to go hard on ‘use whatever bathroom is right to you’#’we have put free condoms period supplies and nappies in all of them’#’and we will kick you out if you try to say somebody is in the wrong one’
