Fast Cars on the Island - Oscar Piastri x LoveIslandContestant! Reader Part 5

Plot: Your an engineer for Mclaren and you were asked as a PR stunt to go onto Love Island. You would keep your job of course but Mclaren wanted some more media traction.

A/N: I know they would never do this, and that's why its fiction!

In the Villa the Next Day:

“I feel off about Zavi” you say to Daniel as you guys sit on the sunbed together looking round to see if anyone could possibly be listening other than the mic strapped to your body.

“What do you mean?” He asks, pushing his sunglasses up his forehead to sit atop of his head.

“Don’t you think it was … odd? I don’t think I’ve ever seen them talk” you said to him leaning over to grab your bottle of water and sip on it.

“Yeah it was strange … maybe they have their own thing going on and all of us have just been too busy to see it” Daniel comments looking around.

“So what is the plan going forward going to be?” Daniel asks her looking over her expression.

“With us?” You ask politely sitting up and placing your feet back in your flip flops on the hot floor.

“Mmmmm”

“Well, unless you wanna get to know me” you tease with your eyebrows going up and down in a funny way making Daniel burst out laughing. “But seriously you deserve to be happy … happier than me because of my reasons for being in here. So if you find a connection with someone here don’t worry about staying loyal to me” you say seriously and he nods, rubbing one arm on your thigh in thanks before giving it a light tap.

Lando and Oscar:

“Yeah I’m with Y/N on that. This Zavi girl is giving off bad vibes, I bet she isn’t gonna stay loyal to Charlie surely!” Lando asks watching the TV in his drivers room.

“Even if she doesn’t why do we care? I thought we hated Charlie” Oscar asks confused.

“We do but if Zavi continues on like this it’s gonna make things harder for our girl” Lando says concentrating more on watching Auriela in the rant room.

“One when did she become our girl? And Two don’t we want her back at the races?” Oscar asks confused making Lando roll his eyes and sigh.

“Hey she’s always been my favourite team member. Don’t tell Will or John that yah? And oh my god we defo want her to stay in there, unless you don’t want her to be happy and find love because there’s underlying circumstances one, ie me, doesn’t know about!” Lando asks giving him side eye.

“N-no definitely not” Oscar says gluing his eyes back to the TV.

“But I think this TV show is so superficial, she deserves the best and she isn’t gonna find it here” Oscar begins making Lando laugh knowing Oscar did infact have a different opinion.

Back to the Villa:

You and Daniel lay on the bed, Millie and Chris also there just chilling you were all getting to know each of her better talking about life before coming here.

“It got to the point that I just couldn’t go through the heartbreak anymore and it was like I was the problem without actually being the problem you know?” Millie asks looking at all of you who have cocked heads.

“Erm no” Chris laughs before adding some lip balm to his sun dried lips before offering it around.

“I mean, this is really different for me. I feel like I’ve never really had a proper relationship not like you guys describe because I’ve been so focused on my career and getting there. It hasn’t been easy one bit” you admit, knowing especially as a woman it was hard work to get to where you were now.

“I get that, being career focused is good but it also helps when you have someone to share the burden of life with” Daniel nods.

“I don’t really think I’ve ever had any burdens. I love my job, beyond measure and it’s such a team dynamic that whatever I’ve lacked in relationship support has been picked up by my team mates and those around me constantly” you admit and they all nod.

“Hey so what actually is your job, I feel like we’ve never been told” Chris asks.

“Erm well I’m an engineer” you explain and they all look up intrigued.

“Really that’s pretty cool” Millie smiles wiping some sun cream across her nose preparing to go for a dip outside.

“Mmmm I love my job, means I travel around a lot which I love” you grin.

“A hence the no proper relationships! You dirty girl. Hooking up in all corners of the world” Chris teases slapping your arm lightly.

“An experience for sure. Very lavish” you join the teasing and all of you laugh.

Lando and Oscar:

He’d seen the latest article and he immediately popped his head through Lando’s driver room.

“Lan, have you seen the article” he says and Lando looks up in shock, hunched over the massage bed, John working on his legs.

“What the fuck Oscar. Have you ever heard of knocking?” Lando asks.

“No I haven’t not a custom in Australia” he says bluntly, but Lando having known Oscar for over a year knows this is his way of being sarcastic.

“Argh you’re annoying, go on.” Lando says patting John in thanks before sitting up and rubbing his own knee out.

“Y/N told people in the Villa it’s finally got out and there are headlines in the daily mail and loads of other papers. She’s even in auto sport” Oscar says showing his phone in his team mates face.

“Yes that is normally what happens when big news gets consumed by the media” Lando smiles.

“Argh but some of them aren’t good articles” Oscar groans not understanding why Lando wasn’t getting his worry.

“Mmmm that also tends to happen when it’s something controversial. Look Osc, Y/N knew what they were getting into when they agreed to do this for Zac. She’s a big girl. And hey maybe people will see a different side to women in motorsport because of her” Lando nods his head making Oscar sigh and take a seat with him.

“Yeah you’re right” Oscar says.

In the bathroom of the Villa:

You’d just got out of the shower, Aaron having been brushing his teeth while you were in there. You’d both randomly started to sing As the Word Caves in by Matt Maltese and you guys actually didn’t sound too bad.

“We should form a Love Island Band and call it the Lovers” Aaron gasps after spitting into the sink and catching your eyes in the mirror.

“Oh my god! We should ask if we can do a set! That would be so funny! Doesn’t Auriela play the piano too!” You ask meeting his eyes as you brush through your hair.

“I GOT A TEXT!” A scream runs though the house and before you know it your wrapping a large fluffy pink towel around your body and you and Aaron are quickly going down the stairs as carefully as you can without slipping.

“Islanders … Y/N are you still in a towel?” Charlie bursts out laughing making you blush as you tighten it around you.

“I didn’t wanna miss this!” You cry in embarrassment before they continue.

“Anyway. Islanders with a boring afternoon ahead we thought it would be nice to let you guys chill and watch some TV. Head outside the villa entrance to see what awaits” Charlie reads out, you immediately run back up, fully drying off before changing into swimsuit and a day outfit before running up to joining the others.

“I’m kinda excited” you admit to Chris and Auriela who you were stood next to them.

“Excited? To watch TV?” Chris asks in shock.

“Well we aren’t just going to be watching TV are we! We’ll be … doing some kind of challenge. Maybe fighting for like dates?” You grin thinking off all the possibilities.

“Oh so true, yeah this should be good!” Auriela smiles grabbing Chris hand and walking with him as you come up to Daniel and Aaron.

“Hey boys, what we thinking about today?” You say wrapping arms round them pulling their heads down to your height laugh coming from the pair.

“Challenge time and watch out Aaron coz me and my girl Y/N are coming for your ass man” Daniel grins pulling you into his side as you guys all run down the steps to the edge of the beach outside the villa. On the wooden decking was a TV with a remote and a sofa in the front.

“Okay, each couple will take turns doing Trivia for common shows on Netflix whoever comes first gets a date out of the Villa” Charlie reads out holding Zavi close to her.

“Up first Chris and Auriela” Zavi says and they take a seat on the sofa infront of the TV they flick through the shows until it stops of Alice in BorderLands. They smash it both having watched the show actually being shocked that they both know so much about it.

“Okay, up next is Daniel and Y/N” Chris and Auriela smile getting up and holding the question cards.

“Come on Danny let’s go” you cry grabbing his hand and taking him to the sofa not missing the look from Aaron or Chelsea.

“Okay, let’s see what your show is. And we have Drive to Survive?” Auriela asks looking at the screen confused.

“Is this like … Top Gear my dad used to watch that” Auriela asks confused.

“It’s a formula one reality show. Embellishes what happened throughout the racing season” you nod knowing and being familiar with the show.

“Okay question 1. What season did the shows first season focus on?” Chris asks and you smile.

“2018” you grin and a bell goes out making Auriela draw a point on the board for the pair of you.

“Who won the 2021 Championship?” He asks the next question.

“Oooo Max Verstappen, shoulda been Lewis” you mutter with a small laugh as Daniel elbows your side.

“What I didn’t say anything” you grin sheepishly before moving on.

Afterwards more shows came and went. You and Daniel had accumulated the most amount of points. And ended up being surprised with a date that evening.

You were kind of excited as you saw a genuine friend in Daniel and thought it was about time you were honest with someone here in the villa and told him why you were here and who you worked for.

You all headed back to the villa all the girls getting insanely envious despite helping you get dressed. You wore one of your favourite relaxed evening outfits that you’d brought into the villa with you before heading down to the fire pit where Daniel said he’d wait.

—"We would all be more than happy if you would attend the celebrations. All three of you, mind you? So no skipping out, Zaveid! Promise?" —

Zaveid let out a long sigh as looked at the horizon. He had agreed in the end, yet he couldn't find himself regretting it more. It wasn't that he hated the Year's End Celebrations. He had loved to watch them from afar with Theodora. Just sitting outside, a bit away from Stonebury, and watching the people have their fun. Lighting up little fireworks and drinking their fill. Zaveid had even helped sometimes, with some artes, just to make the fireworks look prettier. But that had been from afar. Not in the middle of the trouble and everything.

And yet, he hadn't been able to bring himself to tell Aifread to say 'No' to Eleanor's letter. He wasn't even really sure why he was indulging her like this, but he just couldn't say no to it. It wouldn't even be many humans that would be able to see him. And yet, it would still be too much for him. The masses, the drinks, the music, and the voices. The volume of their chatter and singing and partying. Normally, all things Zaveid wasn't exactly bothered by. Except in Midgand the New Year's Celebrations were always, without a fault, accompanied by a huge, blazing fire. And whenever something like that was involved. Zaveid got nervous. And skittish. And irritable. And he would rather not lash out at anyone who didn't deserve it.

Zaveid let out another sigh, as Port Zekson got into view in the distance. They were a day too early. Even less reason they could get out of it now. For once, Zaveid had hoped that Eizen's curse would cause them to miss out on everything. For once, he had prayed that the Reaper's curse would put a stop to their plans. Yet, it had seemed as if the curse had decided to work against Zaveid. The weather during the travels had been perfect. Not too cold, but clear nonetheless. Evident by the thin blanket of snow coating Port Zekson's harbour. Zaveid looked up, watching the sky. And the weather would hold, he was sure of that much. Perfect conditions for the large fire in the town square of Loegres to be lit up.

"We can still feign some sort of accident, Zavi."

Zaveid flinched and turned around, looking right at Aifread's and Eizen's concerned looks. They had been eyeing him like this for a while now. At least when they hadn't been planning what they would get up to next. Giving him numerous opportunities to still say no and sail away from the entire celebration. The crew didn't care where they would get drunk for a night, and none of them cared for the fireworks. Yet, Zaveid didn't want to take this from them. Or rather, from Eizen. Meeting with Eleanor, Magilou and Rokurou. Going to see the kid together. Having friends, other friends, was doing him good after all. It was rare for all of them to come together like this.

Zaveid shook his head, leaning into Eizen's arms as he approached. He'd be able to deal with the hassle somehow. He would just need to stick close to Aifread, and everything would be fine. Who knows, maybe he'd even have some fun. He had wanted to drink with Rokurou one of these days.

"It's gonna be fine, you two. I'm a big boy, I can handle it," Zaveid mumbled.

Eizen wrapped his arms around him, pulling him closer, while Aifread leaned next to them against the railing. Both of them regarding Zaveid with a more than worried look in their eyes. Aifread knew it would be hard for Zaveid to just brush it off like that. Both of them knew.

Initially, Aifread had wanted to sail south right now. On their way to the Far Continent again. So they could look at the ruin again, where he had found Siegfried. But this time together with Zaveid. Also to distract Zaveid. They would have still been close enough to Southgand to see the fireworks from the Van Eltia. And spend a calm, and nice evening with the crew on deck. Getting drunk, having their own little celebration. Until Eleanor's letter came. And Zaveid had made good points about going to Loegres instead. Departing south afterwards. Aifread and Eizen were still worried.

Zaveid smiled at Aifread, reaching out to take his hand. Intertwining their fingers, as Aifread stepped closer. He was happy that Eizen and Aifread cared about him like this. But just like they cared, he did as well.

"It reminds you of the facility, doesn't it?" Aifread asked.

He squeezed Zaveid's hand, as Zaveid nodded. It had been a shock when Aifread had revealed to them that through Melchior's torture he had remembered everything about one of his past lives. The most recent one. The one he had spent most of it at Zaveid's side. Being raised as the shield to the weapon Zaveid had been raised to be. Having to explain all that to Eizen had been a huge pain as well.

And after his death, Vale's death, when the facility had gone done, it had burned down in flames. Loud, crackling flames, explosions and all. All the while, Zaveid had run off alone. Though not without taking revenge on his captors. On most of them, at least. Those that had hidden too well for the others. So while he could handle fireworks, or fire individually, the combination of it brought all those thoughts back to his mind. Those images of the blood on his hand. He didn't regret his actions. Yet, he also didn't want to think about them.

Zaveid flinched when they heard a mana stone go off in the distance. All three of them looked towards Port Zekson, only to see someone having already tried out their fireworks. The means having got cheaper, after the people of Stonebury had started to trade the stone being found in Zamahl Grotto.

"Everything alright?" Eizen asked.

Zaveid nodded and chuckled. The celebrations weren't supposed to start until late the next day. And yet, it seemed the people of Port Zekson had already started their own little celebration. Maybe Zaveid could go and see how the people of Stonebury were preparing for it. Before they went to Loegres.

Zaveid already had the hunch that Aifread and Eizen planned to take him there anyway. After all, they could stay in his house for free. And while none of them doubted that Eleanor or Emperor Percival had arranged some sort of accommodations for them, that would be much more relaxing. Being able to sleep in a familiar bed.

"You think, they'd already start the celebrations early in Stonebury, if I told them Zaveid would love that?" Aifread asked.

Eizen and Zaveid turned to look at him, as he still looked at the harbour they were approaching. A grin on his face. A particularly mischievous one. Eizen sighed and shook his head, while Zaveid just rolled his eyes.

He looked at them with an expression that basically screamed, 'I mean it'. Zaveid would rather not, he'd try that out. While the people of Stonebury weren't particularly ones for religion and common traditions, he'd still like it if, they would be allowed to stick to that one.

"Please don't," Zaveid said.

"They just might," Eizen said at the same time.

Zaveid groaned at the way Aifread's grin widened. He really hoped Aifread would listen to him just this once. He didn't mean to bother the people in Stonebury because Eizen was right. They just might if Aifread mentioned Zaveid's name. Because they still would not pray to any Empyrean. Not as long as it was staying clear that Zaveid and Theodora had been the ones shielding the Plains and Stonebury for so many decades. And even, now with Theodora gone, Zaveid still did so.

And they did indeed.

Zaveid had been sceptical when Aifread had gone away alone in the Plain. Had told Eizen and Zaveid he would need to take care of something really quick. And then he had led them to Stonebury, festivities in full swing. The fire for the next day already prepared, yet they had the fireworks ready for this day. Because Aifread had to mention something about Zaveid to the mayor of Stonebury. And of course, they would make sure everything was comfortable for Zaveid whenever he came visiting the settlement turned village.

Though, Zaveid really couldn't find it in himself to complain. Not to Aifread, when he pulled him against himself, as they sat down. Not to anyone, really. Especially when Aifread was the only human he would be able to complain to. And Zaveid did enjoy the fireworks. Had always enjoyed them from a save distance in the past. He would definitely stop by shortly for the bonfire the next day as well. Just to stick around a bit, while Aifread and Eizen got piss drunk in Loegres.

Though right now, he was glad to enjoy the current celebrations in piece. Sandwiched between Aifread and Eizen, a cup of mulled wine in his hands, as he watched the joy of everyone around him.

Even if they had sparked a new tradition for years and decades to come in Stonebury like this. Zaveid couldn't find himself to mind, as he watched and even slightly contributed to the fireworks. And while Zaveid was watching the lights up in the sky, eyes wide and sparkling, Eizen and Aifread rather watched him, once again more than happy that they could spend time like this. A little bit shocked, as well, that another year had gone by, and Zaveid was still with them. Still kept choosing them, again and again.

From that day on, whenever they were close enough to Midgand, Aifread, Zaveid and Eizen would visit Stonebury without fail for the two days Year's End celebrations.

Anon who recently asked about OCs here. Hear me out: tiny robotic assistants/companions (Actual companions not. "Companions" wink wink) for the main three. Someone similar to them to keep them company who's also pocket sized! I think it'd be a neat dynamic (especially for Zavy with his constant need to have company)

Those are the OCs I'm making! They have names but not designs. Fairy's is called Cotton, Zavy's is (subject to change because I couldn't think of a theme he has besides clown) Peach, and Mirage's is Phantasma (like Phantasmagoria!)

This is incredibly cute! And it works very well, because tiny bots like that are actually canon in the Star Palace universe. When it comes to the bots that are personal companions, and the world in general, I actually take a LOT of inspiration from an old Anime/Manga called Chobits. In that anime, all of the bots are called Persocoms, and they are walking, talking computers. So none of the main characters have anything like a laptop or PC, The Persocoms themselves are the computers. There are large ones that are people-sized, and then there are smaller ones that are considered Laptops.

Like these two:

They're pocket-sized, and easily transportable.

The tiny bots in the Star Palace Universe are usually a little bit bigger than these guys. They're about a foot tall, at the smallest. Anything tinier would just be a toy that wouldn't have AI capabilities.

The bots that are 1-2 feet tall are usually a sort of a replacement for a service dog. They're little guys who follow their owners around and make sure they're doing okay. They can help with both mental and physical disabilities. The more help the person needs, the bigger the bot will be in order to meet all of their accommodations. If someone needs a full live-in nurse, the bot will usually be around 4-5 feet tall. Meanwhile, a medical bot in a hospital will often be far bigger because of how how much work they have to do there. Zavy, as an example, has to be big and strong enough to lift emergency patients from one stretcher to another. While a smaller bot could push the stretchers, they have to be able to move quickly and stop on a dime, which is easier for a bigger bot.

3-4 foot tall bots are also used in food-service jobs. (Like Taki!) They're small so that they can move around the kitchen easily, but also not take up a lot of space. They also usually have stretching limbs so that they can reach around from one place and now have to move much.

Performance robots will usually be bigger than usual (like how Fairy is 8 feet tall). This makes it easier to see them on stage. Though as a result, the humans next to them usually look quite small in comparison. This was something the production companies didn't really think through, and therefore they're working on slowly bringing them down in size to not be QUITE so big.

As for your OCs, they sounds SUPER cute. If I may make a suggestion for Zavy's, you could go with Jelly, which represents the weird little Jellyfish lamp in his room. Or you could go with a star-related name, because the rest of his room is nebula-themed. No matter what, it's your OC. I look forward to seeing what you create.

Around the fire pit:

“Oh god I’m so nervous? They didn’t say genders or anything” Zavi cries looking towards you as the boys start to take their seats.

“What do you think it will be?” Charlie asks you and you shrug, having no idea how the producers would sway it. Two boys, two girls or a boy and a girl. Whatever they did at this point would stir up some kind of drama.

“I’m not sure, but I think it will probably be one of each” you hand him a small smile.

“I think you might be right Y/N” Aaron smiles at you before getting some nods from the other girls.

“It just makes the most logical sense to me, and then that way it still is the girls choice” you smile nodding.

“Why am I so nervous!” Millie exclaims shaking your shoulders a little. She sits next to Daniel who wraps an arm around her shoulder.

After more conversing, the sound of the sliding glass doors to the Villa make all your heads turn seeing a guy and girl walk out through the curtains.

“Hey!” the girl cheerily smiles with a little wave.

“Sup” the guy next to her cheekily smiles before making their way over to the fire pit.

“Hiya! Omg it’s so exciting to have you here! Please introduce yourself!” Auriela gestures for them to take seats around the fire pit.

The guy sits in between Aaron and Zavi, whilst Chelsea sits in between you and Chris.

“I’m Max, I’m 26 and I work as a secondary school maths teacher” the guy smiles and your head snaps to him in shock, with a small giggle. You could imagine all of his students finding out he was in love island and teasing the hell out of him for it.

“Im Chelsea I’m 25 and I’m a Tattoo Artist” she offers and you all nod.

You all talk, getting to know the two newbies whilst still finding stuff out about the current contestants.

Two phones ping simultaneously from Max and Chelsea making you all nervously fidget. You knew from having watched the show that it would be the two new islanders either choosing dates or the public choosing them dates.

“Max, please get ready for two dates tonight chosen by public choice. You’ll have your main course with Millie and your dessert with Y/N” he reads out the text and you look up in shock.

Were the public trying to make your life harder than it already was in this Villa. You weren’t ready for the drama that would most likely unfold.

“Chelsea please get ready for two dates tonight chosen by public choice. You’ll have your main course with Aaron and your dessert with Charlie” Chelsea reads out.

And with that you watched as Millie left with Max and Chelsea left with Aaron for their first dates. You immediately walked over to Daniel to comfort him.

“Hey, look I know it’s not fun” you sigh patting his back and he looks down.

“Is it bad of me to admit I’m more worried about going home this early on than possibly loosing Millie?” He jokes but you know what he means, people who went out this early on never felt like that had a full shot.

“I get that, and I think you being a lot to the Villa Daniel, despite it being night one i can see a friend in you that extends to outside this villa” you smile at him.

“Yeah me too” he nods.

“Look, you deserve to stay in if Millie gets chosen AND Aaron gets chosen by Chelsea. I’ll pick you any day of the week” you smile at him nudging his side teasingly, but he has a serious look on his face.

“Thank you Y/N seriously!” He says pulling you into a hug.

Lando and Oscar:

“Woah, talk about bombshells” Lando says chewing on a sweet that Oscar had brought over to his hotel room. It had became a weekly Sunday thing for them after races to watch you on the TV. It was kind of a weird feeling seeing you in these kinds of places and in this way when they were used to you in team gear around the paddock looking at data or fixing the car.

“Who do you recon they’ll end up with?” Oscar asks.

“What the newbies?” Lando replies finally taking his eyes of the screen. Oscar just nods letting Lando know that is what he meant.

“I recon Chelsea will choose Aaron and then Max will choose Millie, and Y/N is the type to go back on her word so she’ll end up with Daniel and both get to Casa Amore together if they have too” Lando explains as if he is an expert.

“Interesting” Oscar admits, only thinking of Casa Amore, when 4 new islanders for each gender came to the villa.

Back at the Villa:

It was time for your date with Max and both you and Charlie walked out the Villa together before turning in separate directions.

You walked up to a little gazebo with foliage and fairy lights around it, it was a really nice set up and you couldn’t help but feel lucky to have a date in such a nice area.

Throwing yourself into your career meant that you didn’t really have time to experience all the countries you got to see with someone else. It was always you alone.

“This is really nice” you smile to him.

“Yeah i wish I could take credit for it but definitely can’t” he laughs and you guys end up having a really good night. You ask him about teaching only to find out his students had no idea he’d come into the tv show.

And before you know it, it’s time to go back.

You were all sat around the campfire apart from Chelsea and Max who were stood next to each other ready to choose.

“I’m choosing this guy because he was really genuine and sweet on our date and I can see myself progressing furthest with him as of right now. We connected a lot on the date and I believe he is the right choice”

“The boy i would like to couple up with is Aaron” Chelsea finishes and Aaron begrudgingly goes to stand next to her after sharing small eye contact with you.

Max goes next a smile on his face.

“So the girl I want to couple up with, made me feel like we had a connection straight away. Talking to her was so natural and I felt like this is the right choice. I’m not normally one to step on people’s toes but it’s a really different environment in here and I’ve come at a really difficult point of the show”

“So the girl I have chosen to couple up with is Millie” he smiles and Millie looks down but you can tell she is smiling and blushing. You caught eyes with Daniel who didn’t look to put of by the situation. He nods to you, communication of what you’d do at the recoupling now it had swung the way you thought it would.

You were slightly gutted that Aaron was now coupled up and it felt like you two were never actually going to have a chance together.

You heard was all over the place, was this still just PR or were you actually wanting to find someone in here … and was that someone Aaron.

“Okay, in this order from yesterdays challenge the girls will pick who they want to couple up with. Auriela, Zavi, and Y/N” the presenter says and Auriela stands up.

“So I’ve been coupled up with this guy from the start and I want to see where things go as we’ve been having loads of fun getting to know one another, we have loads in common and I can’t wait to see where this goes. The boy id like to couple up with is Chris” Auriela smiles.

Zavi stands up next, looking a little nervous.

“So I want to couple up with this boy because our chats in the Villa lately have seriously changed my opinion on him. He’s really sweet and caring and I don’t think he was given a proper first chance so the boy id like to couple up with is …” she pauses as if she’s debating what she’s going to do.

“Charlie” and gasps come around, no one having expected her to have gone with him.

Lando and Oscar:

“NO WAY! That’s crazy! I thought she was going to stay with that Jai” Oscar exclaims.

“Dude you could tell with those conversations they were having yesterday they were getting it on” Lando chuckles taking a sip of his Red Bull.

“I thought they were just getting to know each other!” Oscar explains to him, not having seen the longing eyes shared or the flirty undertones.

“And that my friend is why you got nowhere with Y/N when she was here” Lando teases, and it was supposed to be a joke but they both knew there was some truth behind that.

Back in the Villa:

“Okay it’s time for our final girl, to choose who she will end up with. Very strange circumstance for you Y/N” the presenter says as you stand up at the front.

“Yeah it’s been an interesting one that’s for sure. And I think I haven’t fully been able to make connections yet which is a shame and I want to be stable going into the next recoupling after this and I think discussions were held before about what I was going to do depending on the outcome of Max and Chelsea’s choices, this is a game and I have to be strategic so the boy id like to couple up with is Daniel” you smile and he comes up to you, to finally stand next to you and kisses your temple.

“Thank you” he whispers and you just smile and nod.

“I always keep my promises” you smile tugging on his arm in a friendly way.

You all start to say goodbye to Jai, sad that one of the original islanders was gone before heading off to your new sleeping arrangements.

“Night islanders” Charlie shouts as he cuddles Zavi from the back grinning like a school boy before he pulls her down and under the covers.

A chorus of replies cross the room before the lights dim for the night.

You and Daniel quietly talk to each other about the day, trying not to disturb your fellow islanders before sleep finds the both of you.

Lando and Oscar:

“I’m guess what she does within McLaren will come out soon… PR have a close eye on this, for obvious reasons” Oscar observes making Lando laugh.

“Yeah I’m pretty sure they’d have a field day if she started having sex on camera while being under the McLaren name. PR nightmare” Lando chuckles but it makes Oscar freeze.

He forgot how raunchy the dating show could be, and he couldn’t help but he jealous of anyone on the show who got even the tiniest bit closer to that than he ever did.

“The headlines would ruin her” Oscar agrees with a shudder whilst they continue to watch on as the credits roll for this weekends episode.

A/N: A lot of people are suggesting Oscar go into the Villa and he will, but … only when the time is right :)

Everyone meet hornet, inspired by several characters including Valentine day theme, zavy and whole lot of motivation to at least help hornet look and be original as possible, i went with a valentines day theme given hornet is also inspired by my boyfriend who i will call alabaster for the sake of his privacy.:3 (random info: alabasters are also nicknamed "white rose".:3), hornets name was from a character in hollow knight that goes by the same name.:3, hornets braid came from-, literally out of randomness, i took moonbunnys advice/info on one of her videos that she drawing mirage they were listening to music, so i made hornets theme around valentines day, and whenever possible i plan on writing a story about him, indigo and illusion someday probably, given he and them are star palace oc's.:3 (keep in note, these three are not in canon line within the star palace actual season.)

Info: broken glitch.

Like zavy, hornet does indeed have a glitch, but it makes his protectiveness spike, extremely so, so much so that its how hornet got the huge crack in one of his eyes, the nickname for said glitch was "broken" given it somehow has mind of its own when it takes over, this case was inspired by the love poison from mlp, when glitching to broken, the eyes will look similar to that case too.

hornets sexuality: pansexual.

like my love, hornet is indeed pansexual, but leans towards females or femboys due to preference.:3

used to work at before star palace: an asylum.

like zavy, hornet does have some medical knowledge, though me and my hon like the idea of asylums, especially if things get relatable in several different ways, with some knowledge from friends, and sense hornet is supposed to be inspired by my boyfriend Alabaster the most at the very least mentally, a mental asylum in the most modern day seemed officent.:3, unfortunately the glitch got him into trouble with a patient and a few doctors even, shutting him off for years until the medical field was shut down and he was sent to star palace.

favorite things (if he could have them): video games, animals, tv shows.

Specifically, hollow knight, cult of the lamb, RPG's, mlp, mlp horror, pokemon, SEVERAL TYPES of anime, raccoons.(idk why, my boyfriend just likes raccoons and i can indeed see the appeal.:b)

purpose: relatablity.

Whatever i did not list will be up to my boyfriend, including hornets past&treatment when working in the asylum and thus during in star palace too, given i want hornet to be relatable.

fluffy hair: inspired from zavy.(minus the back hair witch is shorter and the braid.)

glitch/broken: zavy's own glitch, indigo's own glitch and also the inspiration of mentally breaking+heart break.(witch is what me and alabaster has unfortunately experienced.qwq)

clothes: inspiration be zavy by a little bit, the rest was a mime+ballet theme.

personality disorders.(that we all are aware of.): bipolar disorder, d.i.d, depression and anxiety.

Im practically no stranger to this by now, illusion is an example of d.i.d too.(given they have different identitys that are named by different words in french.), and plus my boyfriend and other friends have indeed d.i.d disorders.(hense how broken has a mind of their own.), whatever broken and hornet does is self experience for not just d.i.d but the other stuff i have listed too, such as depression and bipolar disorder.:3

other stuff: again that's up to alabaster.:b

Color palette: i used valentines day themed color pallets and combined them.:3

teeth: this inspiration came from someone out of star palace actually, this inspiration is by the name of starlight from wtdw witch is by rainbot.:3

Oh god. I don't hardly remember how Sburb works. But if I had to pick, probably Zavi. Just because he's surprisingly resourceful and works well under pressure and has really good, like, social deduction skills. He will read you like a book
