We as a society should talk more about the AU where Orin and DUrge's places are reversed. She fucks up her assassination of DUrge and gets the tadpole in cruel retaliation and it's the crowning failure in a lifetime of humiliation and ALSO it is the key to finally escaping the cycle. My kicked dog baby daughter Orin. A lifetime of being denied love and acknowledgement and for the first time she gets to know people who could appreciate her, who could support her, love her. I think there are companions who could get with her macabre painting idk. I want to see her get to do her art :) I want to see her interactions with Lae'zel and Shadowheart who are also grappling with these entrapping ideologies they were raised in, I want to see her interactions with Wyll who has also been rejected by his father and can't tear himself away, I want to see her interactions with Astarion who is at a crossroads between becoming the monster that tormented him or getting out. And. Also. She's just such a perfect underdog. Think about the power to the DUrge endings but with Orin. Going back to the cult and finally having everything she ever wanted, finally getting to be special and prove herself worthy and LIVE. It's a pyrrhic victory but it's one she's clawed for herself so desperately. Faltering and losing herself completely, completing the downward spiral of decay of her life. Or finally!!! Getting!!! To escape!!! To see the evil of that lifetime of abuse for what it is!!! To know what she was made for and reject it by living anyway, by turning her back on all destinies that have ever been laid at her feet!!! Thoughts On Ken Sato

Short description, Ultraman: Rising is a Netflix movie which was released in 14th June. Ultraman is a popular character of a series which aired on TV in 1996 named "Ultraman", more like Superman but in Japan.

(I grew up watching it, so I was excited when I get to know there was a new movie of Ultraman.)

Kenji Sato was an interesting character who went from an arrogant, friendless guy to a father of the giant baby monster, a mate who gets along with his team mates, and reconciling with his father.

All of it happen after he took in Emi. You know if Ken didn't took Emi with him the KDF would have taken the infant and used her to find Kaiju island and destroy it.

Ken taking in Emi didn't just develop him as an character but also making bonds with her, his father and people around him.

He really became emotional attach to Emi on the course of time, and you can see in the scene where Emi got hurt when Ken tried to catch her.

I do wish that we had more scene of Ken for a more deep understanding of him, and him alone, and Emi coming into his life brighten is life. I think it would have been interesting.

I do wish they do a sequel where we take a dive into Ken Sato.

Watched Ultraman Rising! It's a beautifully animated movie, that's a great story about family. I enjoyed Ken's Growth through out it and Mina was fun. Emi is adorable and fun too. Ken's Dad is endearing too. It a wonderful story about family and heart and connecting. 😊😊

Granted I felt that the baseball parts were just there to fill a void, I wish we saw more about a balance between both, because we don't connect with his teammates or coach, it feels like winning the championship was hollow because we didn't connect to the team.

That's something in Ultraman that I love is that the Main character connects with his team. It would have been nicer to see that. I love the raising Emi part that was a lot of fun. Also, I felt we needed more communication with his father too. Also, love Ultraman Refs throughout

I totally want more, I want to see the Land of Light animated in this style. I totally need it.

Goosebumps litter your skin as you shiver in the closet. It’s cramped and freezing in here, but you don’t have the means to warm yourself up. Emil has your hands bound behind you, your mouth muzzled, the lights out. You wish you could at least curl your legs up close to your chest to stay warm, but he’s got them chained to the wall.

So here you are, shivering, restrained, and waiting for your captor to release you from your torment. Truly, he’s done much worse to you before, but these conditions are still less than ideal.

After what feels like an hour— though you’re not sure exactly how much time has passed— the door creaks open. Light pours in and bleeds onto the carpet, but is soon swallowed up again by Emil’s shadow. You tense from his presence, staring up at him with pleading eyes. Can I come out now?

Your captor kneels down, his eyes scanning your shaking form. You can’t keep eye contact once he finds his way back to your face.

“Hi, lover,” he finally greets you, voice low and soft. “Are you feeling better?”

You aren’t, but you nod anyway, just wanting this to end.

“You are? Does that mean you’re ready to be good?”

Heat flushes your face and you shut your eyes. This is incredibly dehumanizing.

“Heyyyyy,” coos Emil, reaching out a gentle hand to turn your face towards him. His thumb runs circles into your temple, coaxing you to open your eyes. “Don’t pout. Answer my question.”

You resist the urge to tear your face away from his palm. Part of you wishes you could bite his hand, but that’s what landed you in the closet in the first place, and you have no room to be a bad dog right now.

So you nod again. Yes, I’m ready to pretend I don’t want to fucking kill you.

Emil’s face etches out a grin. “Good to hear.”

He reaches to your legs to unlock the chains, then gently pushes you towards the wall so he can untie your hands. Next he turns you back around, the muzzle comes unbuckled, and his hands massage your jaw where the material dug divots into your skin.

His voice remains soft, as do his eyes. “Now what do we say?”

“. . . Thanks.”

His fingers dig into your skin, almost making you yelp. “You don’t sound very sincere.”

“Thank you, Emil..”

Your captor leans forward to kiss your forehead, then grabs your hands to help you up.

“You’re welcome, love.”
