What is Traveler Basil?

A silly, laid back OMORI AU where instead of being.. ahem “sent away”, Basil finds himself being tossed around HEADSPACE and taken under the wing of multiple bosses!

What to expect from this blog?

This is mainly just a way to dump all of my doodles and things I’ve made for this AU, since I’m not taking it too too seriously and need a place to put all of the info neatly and organized!! But I think it’d also be fun to do a sort of ask blog thing.. to both have some fun playing around with certain scenarios, and to help myself flesh out the AU, too!

Draconic trills filled the air as a certain light pink hatchling ran around in a grassy meadow, their claws digging into the dirt as they pranced about, chasing after butterflies.

A large armored woman stood nearby, her arms crossed as she watched over the young dragon, small chuckles falling from her lips whenever the hatchling faceplanted into a patch of flowers.

"Come on, Snapdragon!" The woman called out to the hatchling, who lifted their head, tilting it in confusion. "We oughta head back to the palace soon, we don't want poor Pitaya losing their head!"

The mention of Pitaya had the young dragon bounding back over to the armored woman, their form shift and changing as they laughed loudly.

"Pwayaaa! Pwaapwaa!!" Snapdragon laughed as they hopped up into Hollyberry's arms, reaching their little beaned hands up to her face as their paws sprawled out over her arms.

Hollyberry laughed in return, a warm grin on her face. "Yes! We don't want to worry papa!" She nodded as she held the hatchling's lower body, their torso still able to move freely.

The hatchling babbled with delight as the armored woman turned around to return to their home, yet she paused for a moment, turning her head to look behind her.

Snapdragon tilted their head, reaching a hand up to gently bap Hollyberry's nose. "Mwamma?" They chirped, worry visible in their eyes.

The woman perked up, looking back at the young dragon as a soft smile formed to her lips.

"Ah, worry not Snappy! I just thought I heard something. Come on! Let's get a move on!"

On the continent of beast-yeast, a certain chameleon has found himself on the other side of a particular silver willow, watching as the cracks in it's bark grow.
