48. do they have social media? do they like it or hate it? obsess over it?

Lenny does have social media. She has Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Lenny’s Facebook is set to private - meaning people can only view certain aspects of her profile. If she doesn’t have you as a friend, then you can only see her profile picture / header, her intro, and featured photos. Her profile picture is a selfie that she took while at the animal shelter one day, while her header is a picture of her cats. The main reason Lenny got a Facebook account was so she can keep in contact with a lot of her American relatives. Most of her friends on the account are family. Her bio said :: A veterinary student with a love for cats. Lenny does not use Facebook Messenger, as it gives her anxiety due to the fact that anyone can message her with that, so she does not have the app installed into her phone.

Her Instagram is less private and she will let people view the photos she posts. However, she is self conscious about who she lets follow her there. If someone seems sketchy, she will block them and she doesn’t accept private messages from strangers. Her Instagram is mostly filled with photos of her cats as well as some photos from the animal shelter. She often promotes the shelter on her Instagram and uses the site to help find animals homes. Her profile picture is a selfie that she took with her cats. Also her description says the same thing that her Facebook one says :: A veterinary student with a love for cats. However, underneath that there is also this line of lyrics :: Now I’m falling it’s a long way down from here.

Her Twitter is not private either, but she doesn’t post photos there. Usually she just writes out text posts or little updates on her life. Like with Instagram, she is strict on who she let’s follow her. Her profile picture is a selfie that she took with Faith. Her header is a photo of midnight.

Lenny doesn’t hate social media, but sometimes it does give her anxiety. It’s not something that she’s on all the time because of that. She tends to get on Facebook the most and that is just so she can keep her family updated on her life. She’s not one to obsess over social media. She would rather update people in person about how her life is going, but she can’t always do that, since she lives far away from a lot of her family.

Lenny Facts: Lenny’s stutter is hereditary. The stutter originated when she was a child. She started having trouble with her speech when she was between the ages of two and three. Her parents didn’t notice right away though, because they were often busy with both work and school. They ended up catching on to the problem too late and didn’t have the money to put her through speech therapy, so they tried to deal with the problem on their own. Though, her parents tried their hardest, their efforts were done in vain, because to this day Lenny still has a stutter. 

As a child Lenny often got frustrated when it came to speaking and not being able to get out exactly what she wanted to say when she wanted to say it. When she was really young she would sometimes through tantrums over it. Young Lenny would often break things and stomp her feet on the ground out of anger. Sometimes, instead, she’d just get so upset that she’d just break down and cry about it. While other times, she’d just go lock herself in a room somewhere so she could be alone. As she got older, she learned to better control her emotions, but she still gets frustrated from time to time. It just comes with the territory.

Lenny’s stutter originated from her father’s side of the family. Her father started stuttering when he was about the same age Lenny was when she started. However, his parents choose to do nothing about it. They figured he would be fine just the way he was and didn’t want to try to change him. To this day, her father, Lance still has his stutter.

Like Lenny and Lance, there are other people on the Grayson side of the family who stutter or who used to stutter. Some of her relatives were able to catch on to the problem fast enough to be able to help the people overcome the issue. However, not everyone were as lucky and still struggle with it to this day.

Flirting is something Lenny doesn’t often think about and it’s something she’s terrible at. Lenny is very awkward and innocent in nature, so if you do catch her flirting it’s not going to be very good. She’s the type who would think of cute and sweet things to say, when it comes to flirts. Nine times out of ten, if she’s going to attempt flirting it will just be her saying a compliment to the person she likes. That’s the best she can do.

Usually, if someone tries to flirt with Lenny, the flirts will go right over her head. She’s so innocent and sweet, she just thinks they’re trying to be nice or giving her a compliment. However, there has been times when she’s realized she’s being flirted with. Once she realizes it’s flirting, Lenny will start to feel uncomfortable and extremely awkward. There will be a lot of blushing on her end and she won’t know how to react.
