She's feeling flustered by her boyfriend's sudden boldness. Her cheeks heat up, turning a vibrant shade of red. While her heart pounds loudly in her chest. Her stomach feels like it's filled with fluttering butterflies.

Music from Spotify plays in the background as she sits next to him on her living room couch. Half empty boxes of take out sit on the coffee table in front of them. Normally, Lenny would make dinner, but she's exhausted from her day at school and work. So she opted for take out containers filled with noodles, vegetables, and chicken.

"Um --- Wh-What do you mean by that?" she asks him. Curious blue eyes stare at her boyfriend.

“Lips so, so good I --- f-forget my name. Swear um, I c-could give you --- everything.” The words tumble from her lips before she can stop them. Why did she say that?! Her cheeks heat up in embarrassment, turning a vibrant shade of red. She let’s out an awkward squeak, blue eyes averting from her boyfriends face to the floor. “Ah! S-Sorry! Um, I didn’t mean ---” Lenny is struggling to find the right words. “--- Um, I’m, I’m awkward.”

She sniffles, wiping at tear stained cheeks with one hand as she clings to her boyfriends' side. Her body presses against him, one arm wrapped around his waist as she cries. "Th-Thank you. Today was awful." she says.

Lenny barrows her face against his chest. As soon as she got home from her shift at the shelter, she called Saeran and asked him to come over. Her voice easily gave away that she was upset and she promised to tell him why she was upset when he got here. She didn't feel like going into the details over the phone.

And now, here they were cuddling on her couch. She shifts her position, so she can look him in the face while she speaks. "This group of teenagers came in this afternoon. Um, to the shelter to volunteer. They were p-probably 15, 16? Uh, it was for a school project. I --- " she pauses, sniffling. She can feel the stuffiness in her nose, brought on by all her crying. After this, she's going to need a few tissues.

"I was uh, assigned to help them. Show them around, t-teach them how we do things. Um, they weren't t-taking anything I said seriously. Those kids --- they treated the whole thing like it was a joke and the m-minute I started talking ---" More tears spilled out of her eyes like a monsoon. All of the feelings she held in today came spilling out. All the sadness and anger from those teenage bullies. That's right, those kids were bullies.

Wracked sobs came from her chest, and it took her a moment to calm down before she could finish her story. She needed this, somebody to vent to. "They th-thought it was funny. They laughed at me and, poked fun at my st-stutter. Even went as far as to, to mimic me a few times. B-But I put up with it because I --- I'm a pushover." she finished.

Unfortunately these kids, three boys and two girls, only goofed off and laughed at her when her coworkers weren't around. Lenny didn't want to cause any trouble, so she didn't say anything about it. But looking back, maybe she should have? Had her boss been there today, that woman wouldn't have let those kids get away with their behavior, that's for sure.

She rests comfortably against his frame, tears continuing to slide down her cheeks.

Blue eyes sparkle as she listens to her best friend, and the love of her life say those words to her. It makes her feel so happy inside to know he feels the same way. The largest smile you've ever seen spreads across her face.

Lenny takes both of his hands into hers and leans upwards, planting a soft kiss against his lips. Blue eyes flutter closed for a few moments, as she lets her emotions take over.

After a few moments she pulls back from the kiss. "And you," she says, "Are the best friend I've ever had." She squeezes his hands softly. Whenever they needed each other, the two of them were always there for one another. No matter the time of day or year. "I love you so much."

“I h-hope you like it.” Blue eyes are hopeful as Lenny placed the bowl of vegetable soup in front of Saeran. “It’s m-my gr-grandma’s recipe.” Turning away from him, she grabbed herself a bowl full of the soup and placed in onto the table across from him. Her American grandmother always made the best soups. She knew when she invited him to dinner that she had to get her grandma’s soup recipes. After a bit of contemplation, she decided to go with making the vegetable soup. She thought Saeran might like it best.

Lenny took a seat across from him, taking a spoonful of soup and shoving it into her mouth. The spoon is placed back into the bowl as she ate the food in her mouth. The soup tasted good, but it would’ve tasted better with her grandma’s fresh vegetables in it, she decided. “Wh-What do you th-think?” she asked.

Actually, I have a whole spotify playlist dedicated to songs that remind me of Lenny && Saeran! I kept hearing songs that reminded me of them, so I decided to make a playlist out of them. Sometimes I listen to it when I’m writing or making edits. :)

Her cheeks flushed, they’re filled with a bright red coloring reminiscent of a cherry. “O-Of c-course! I th-thought --- I th-thought I --- already was --- am --- am? Y-Your one and only, I m-mean?” She’s feeling a bit flustered by the question and is wondering why he’s asking.

Smiling softly at her boyfriend, she leans forward and gives him a gentle kiss on the lips. Her soft lips brushed against his for a few moments. Then she pulls back, staring into his beautiful mint colored eyes that she loves so much.

“Y-You’re --- You’re s-so sp-special to me and I - I love you --- with all m-my h-heart. ” she states. Lenny places a hand against his cheek. He’s the first guy she’s ever dated and she wanted him to be the only guy she ever dated. She just didn’t know how Saeran would react to hearing something like that, so she’s never said it to his face.

The blonde took the offered earbud from his grasp, placing it gently into one of her ears. She hummed appreciatively as the music he is listening to filled her ear. It’s nice to get a glimpse into the kinds of music Saeran enjoyed. This is the first time Lenny has ever heard this track and she really likes the beat of the song. She has a feeling this song is going to end up getting stuck in her head. 

She smiled softly at her boyfriend. “I r-really like this s-song. Let’s d-dance!” She held a hand out to her boyfriend, softly taking one of his into one of hers. Then she got up from the couch, pulling him with her. Once they were both off of the couch, she let go of his hand and started to dance along to the beat of the song. She moved her hands and feet to the beat of the song. Lenny wasn’t thinking to judge the distance between the earbuds and Saeran’s phone. She got a little too far away and the earbud fell right out of her ear and started dangling loosely. “Ops!” She giggled softly in embarrassment and stopped her dancing. “M-Maybe th-this was a b-bad idea.”

Exhausted blue eyes stared up at the man she loved. She is so grateful someone called him. Her heart would’ve been broken if she’d woken up in the hospital alone. She’s just woken up after having a severe allergic reaction. There’s an oxygen mask covering her face to help her breathe and she’s got an iv in her arm feeding her medication to help with her condition. There are still hives running across her body, but they are slowly starting to clear up.

Lenny and her cousin Akira went to a bowling alley and arcade. Unbeknownst to them, there was a section inside the building that allowed for patrons to smoke inside. When the two of them got to the establishment, they didn’t realize the poorly partitioned off smoking section was there until it was too late. They’d been in the building for five minutes when Lenny noticed the hives covering her body and she was starting to struggle with her breathing. Shortly after, Akira realized something was wrong and knew he had to get Lenny out of there. She remembers him yelling at someone to call an emergency service, because she was having an allergic reaction. And with the help of a stranger, they got her outside. The rest is a blur and Lenny assumed she must’ve passed out by that point.

“I-I’m s-sorry for sc-scaring you.” she croaked. Lenny and Akira didn’t know the place they went to would cause her to break out in hives. They were just looking to have a fun cousins day. “I ---- I d-didn’t know this w-would h-happen.” Lenny sighed deeply. She assumed Akira, or one of the doctors has filled him in on what happened. “I n-never w-would h-have gone there if I’d known .....” she paused.  Lenny felt bad for ruining Akira’s day and now Saeran’s too. “Th-They d-didn’t h-have signs or anything ..... H-How were we to know?”

Blue eyes scanned the room, not catching sight of her cousin. Surely Akira was still at the hospital somewhere? She didn’t think he would’ve left her here by herself, even if Saeran was around.

She stared bashfully down at her lap. Fingers are clasped together and hands are placed onto her lap. “W-Well .....” She paused, her cheeks turning hot. The heat traveled across her cheeks and went up to her ears, making them burn in embarrassment.

“Wh-When w-we f-first m-met I c-could tell you n-needed a friend. You s-seemed so lonely. I w-wanted to b-be that for you.” she started. Hesitant blue eyes looked up at Saeran. The hot red blush still covering her cheeks. “ Th-Then, over t-time, I st-started to f-fall in love with your p-personality. A-And the way you smile and th-those b-beautiful eyes of yours.” And her cats loved him just as much as she does, which is a bonus.

Lenny smiled softly at him. Leaning forward, she gave him a soft kiss on the lips. It lasted a few heartbeats and then she pulled away. “I l-love you, sweetheart.”
