when drew was casted in the movie adaptation of one of your novels, he looked you up, first on google and then on instagram.

when he saw your page, he messaged you asking for your insight into the character he was going to be playing; in reality, he just wanted an excuse to talk to you. the two of you messaged each other for a bit, but mostly just stuff related to the character he was going to be playing.

when they started filming, you'd occasionally visit on set and have casual conversations with drew and the rest of the cast but nothing that significant; you thought that drew was attractive and vice versa but you were in a relationship so just kept it friendly.

a while after the filming for the movie adaptation had wrapped, your friends dragged you to a party, to 'get back out there' after your breakup. when your body bumped into a man's solid chest, the last person you expected for it to belong to was drew.

after that mishap (that ended with drew's drink spilled all over his shirt) you two spent pretty much the entire night huddled in a corner, talking about books, movies, and generally getting to know one another.

that night you ended up going home with him; but the morning after you got really freaked out because hooking up with people randomly wasn't really your thing; you made a hasty exit out of his place, but later that day he ended up calling you, and after nearly thirty seconds of considering just declining, you finally answered.

you ended up talking it out with him, and because you seemed to get along, you agreed to 'hang out' with him when both of you had time, and what was supposed to be 'just coffee' turned into you two in his bed.

afterward, you talked, and decided on a friends-with-benefits kind of situation, due to your recent break up and the fact that drew's work had him traveling constantly.

months went by, and you didn't even notice how casually hooking up and hanging out whenever he was in town to you two constantly texting one another, facetiming when he was away, and basically spending any time possible together.

all of your (and his) friends noticed it, and though they tried to tell you two to 'just be together', you both were stubborn, and insisted that there were no feelings there, just friendship and casually hooking up.

i have re-opened a tumblr account to document my current personal life project: becoming warmer and kinder to myself. after reflecting on my current mental and emotional state, i decided it would be best for me, my loved ones, and for everyone around me to take this seemingly small yet truly vital step.

with my long exposure to internet and other daily stressors, i have gradually declined into a toxic state of mind, leading to constant feelings of unhappiness and anger. unfortunately, these feelings have inevitably affected my relationship with myself and with those around me.

with my remaining self-awareness, i have decided to help myself by changing the way i view the world and how i process my thoughts and emotions, starting with being kinder to myself. this decision does not mean detaching myself from difficult thoughts or from the harsh realities of our society; instead, i will stay grounded, hyperaware, and engaged while also consciously managing my energy and approach to these issues, all while protecting my inner peace.
