i would be one of the main marketing directors for the blue lock channel and so i had to be around the players often to create content and advertise this reality tv show, that means i met a bunch of them

me and kaiser had the pettiest beef ever when we first met. tbh i probably thought he was a cool dude at first but when he opened his mouth i wanted to smack his bitchass over the head lmao

ego told me to pick up the teams from the airport and escort them to the buses, he tried to hit on me bc i was like their age but i was not in the mood bc ego woke me up at motherfucking 5am to escort them so i just told kaiser to fuck off. thankfully we weren't in the same bus or else i probably wouldve like been assasinated by ness or sum shit

our beef would've been most likely me doing really shady side commentaries on him. like how a scene comes up and someone comments on it.

i was doing my marketing director/manager duties and handing out water and kaiser once squeezed it purposely into my face. i threw it at him and a few of the players had to hold me back from killing him

It's time to wrap up my Siargao trip posts. I realise these entries are lengthy and may seem somewhat uninteresting, but I really like to record mostly what happened that day before the tiny details fade away. The brain is a fickle thing, y’know. That's why I like to jot down everything here on my blog, thus the URL — thememoriesarchive. Anyway, I'm looking forward to revisiting this blog in the coming years to read these adventures; I just hope Tumblr sticks around.

Day 7 - May 3, Wednesday

It was time to buy pasalubongs! At 8 am, we grabbed breakfast at one of the carinderias near the local market, then we went to buy dried seafood and local vinegar. Unfortunately, the vinegar was not allowed inside the aircraft, so it was such a waste. We also went back to White Beard Coffee to grab our coffees—this place was always packed! Anyway, we booked a massage appointment at Siargao Island Villas resort. It was soooo so good. Asis mostly enjoyed it; I even heard him snoring! Lol

As soon as we finished, we headed to CEV: Ceviche & Kinilaw Shack, which was what I had really been looking forward to that day. If ever I return to Siargao again, this place would be at the top of my list. And that’s about it – we explored around, making the most of our remaining time and our scooter rental.

That day was also a celebration of our 8th-year anniversary. Although initially planned for the actual date, yesterday (May 2), we decided to celebrate it on the second-to-last day of our stay on the island instead.

Day 8 - May 4, Thursday (The last day)

On our last day, we went back to the Lokal hub to grab breakfast and, again, to White Beard Coffee to get some fuel for the day. We returned to our place to pack our bags, making sure we didn’t leave anything behind. Around quarter to 1 pm, we were already at the airport, waiting for our flight. Maaaaan, I was really hoping to see President Nadine around Siargao, and I was losing hope. But lo and behold, she was on the same flight to Manila, and even Andi Eigenmann’s daughter, Ellie, was in the same flight and the same row as us. It was unexpected. I wanted to have a photo with Nadz, but nope, I didn’t want to bother her and invade her privacy. So, yuuup, we arrived home around 6 pm, totally exhausted from our trip back. It was so not nice to be back in the urban jungle.

To wrap up this Siargao trip, we really did have a great time. To be honest, though, we didn’t want to think about our expenses during our 8-day stay because everything there was overly expensive, and we thought it was not reasonable. If you were to ask us if we would like to return, of course, we would answer yes! Because the island is just beautiful, and we really haven’t explored it all—Taktak Falls, Alegria Beach, Corregidor Island, Bucas Grande. But if we consider the expenses, we would say no, not in the next 5 -10 years. It was enough for us that we had the opportunity to visit the island. So yea, I’m finally done with the Siargao trip posts. It was such an adventure. I can’t wait to visit more of the Philippines. Until next time!

I know I'm going to play a pink-haired (they/them) nonbinary dwarven Shadow Dragon rogue. I'm intending to romance Emmrich my first time around, but I could be swayed by Harding - I've been waiting for a dwarven romance since Origins.

Everything else about this character is up in the air depending on what surname and lore we're given by our character selection.

I have a planned deadname, name, nickname and code name from the Shadow Dragons (preceding Rook) if none of them clash too badly with whatever surname we're assigned. The latter three of these are Nadzen, Nadz and Sradag, which is scots gaelic and pronounced like Seratak, and means Spark or Stinging Nettle.

Nadz is 35-37 ish and 10 years into their trans journey. At the moment, I'd like to associate their backstory with the casteless house Glavonak, whether by blood or by marriage.

As a reminder, brothers Voldrik (moderate) and Dworkin (excessive) Glavonak made lyrium bombs and organized the Amaranthine mines in in Awakening; and their cousin Temmerin Glavonak was involved in the Find Nathaniel quest in da2.

The three possible concepts I have for Nadz so far are:

1.Nadzen and their sister Myswaen are from Tevinter and heard gossip of Dworkin's bombs and intel of the movement of qunari ships (whether the qunari were actually going to threaten Dworkin at this time or were only chasing Isabela is unclear. However, Temmerin does tell Hawke in Act 3 that the qunari caused Dworkin to need to go into hiding). And so without the inconvenience of warships or the grandeur of an arishok to slow them down, the sisters were able to just get to Ferelden first and were how Dworkin went into hiding.

Myswaen stayed, and eventually married Voldrik, while Nadzen returned to Tevinter to supply dwarven bombs and other tech to the Shadow Dragons.

2. Nadzen's grandmother was a Glavonak, and even separated by seas (Nadzen's branch of the family in Tevinter vs the branch that was in Ferelden), they're still family; for all that means competition and favoritism in trade and invention. Dworkin's creations inspire Nadz's own, and Nadz was always peddling something of their own while they manufactured Dworkin's works for their customers (who were the Shadow Dragons for longer than they realized under a pseudonym); and when the Shadow Dragons realized this, they offered Nadzen more direct work.

3. Nadzen is Temmerin's half-sister, sharing a father — so Nadzen isn't a Glavonak by dwarven custom by not sharing their father's gender and neither by surfacer custom by virtue of being a bastard / a child of an affair; but they recognize each other as siblings more than other dwarves might, and their relationship is less complicated as they get older. Nadzen goes to Tevinter on Temmerin's order / advice to keep the qunari on their toes and away from the current source of the family's notoriety: Dworkin. They both study Dworkin's designs. Having spent the past 13 years in Tevinter, Nadzen has found themself caught up in the Shadow Dragons' ambitions.

What I know about mine so far: Tammy is a former Tamassran who has had a crisis of faith and left the Qun after the death of her platonic life partner. She’s joined the Lords of Fortune to try and embrace what life might be like outside of the path she had unquestionably followed and loved, and has been adventuring for a few years. She often gets mistaken for Taash, which she likes more than Taash does.

Love is....

     Literatures of all kinds have been written since time immemorial, in an attempt to capture the real and complete essence of love. These generally claim that love is good. But how come that sometimes it is presented as the cause of sin?

     Among these literatures, only the Bible can give a complete definition of love. However, love’s biblical definition has been corrupted in the common usage of our language and society. Oftentimes, it is confused with feelings and sexual attraction, which love is not.

     Love is essential to Christianity. Jesus Christ himself emphasized this when he summed up the ten commandments into two Greatest Commandments: 1) love God above all things; and 2) love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:36-40). To love God is to love our neighbors. And to love our neighbors is to service them. Thus, Christian love is concerned on others than self.

     There was once a boy who likes colorful things. One day, he saw his big sister’ssticker collection. He was attracted to it so he took some, thinking that it would be just okay with his ate.

     But he was wrong. Upon arriving home from school, his ate saw what he did with her stickers. She then became really mad at him.

     The little boy was sorry for what he did. Because he loves his ate, he didn’t want her to be mad at him. So he planned to replace her stickers. For days he was not eating in school. He wanted to save money from buying merienda so he could buy her beautiful stickers.

     When he finally bought her stickers, he took it to her at once, saying, “ate, bati na tayo.”  

     No one knew the sacrifices that he went through to buy her stickers. But he no longer care about himself. All he wanted is for her sister to feel okay.

     The focus in loving is not ourselves but others. By its nature, Christian love is a sacrificial love, ready for self‑denial. Just like Jesus’ love for us. Jesus loves us so much that he died on the cross to save us from our sins. And just like him, we must also love our others through servicing them (John 15:3).

     A priest once shared in a mass, “the real symbol of love is not the heart, but the cross. Because the heart stops beating, but the Man on the cross never stops loving.” (Note: I wrote this in April 2011. Thanks, Nadz, my inspiration for this piece. I miss you.)
