"aww, char, thank youu! i appreciate it— how are you doing?" a smile spread across your entire face as you situated your co-streamer (fufu, your stuffed bunny plushie) on your lap, ruffling his hair. your eyes raced across the screen, trying to read every single chatter's words. you were actually known on twitch for having one of the more respectful, kind and loving chatters. mostly because your demographic was mostly girls, the lgbtq community + charlie slimecicle.

slimecicle: good !!1!! do you want to hop on the smp??

oh yeah, the smp!! recently chuckle sandwich had decided to create an smp together to fill in videos for when the three of them couldn't all fly out to meet up. they invited you, because you were connected to all three of them. you and ted were mutual friends, and you're the one who inspired his "watching all the barbie movies" video, since you were an avid barbie fan, and you and schlatt had done a stream together a few months ago playing hello kitty island adventure. (also with charlie!)

and then the chuckle smp was born, aka the csmp. many other creators made cameos on the smp, including you! your first day on the smp was as expected— you started making a cute little starter house! schlatt yelled at you though for "raising the property value" of the neighborhood, because all he had made was a dirt shack so far, and he'd been on the smp for like a week!

as you booted up your minecraft (chock-full of shaders), you spawned in your cute little cottage. you hopped on a discord call with charlie as you two joked around and started traveling to find more cherry wood so you could create a little barn for your pink sheep.

"onward! we must commence our journey to find more cherry wood." charlie puts on a mock-serious voice, his minecraft character punching the air as you two started running off in a random direction.

an adorable confused expression crossing your face, your brows knit together and your nose scrunches. "wait, can't we use like, coordinates or something? to find the forest."

charlie lets out a strangled laugh, shaking his head. "that's not how that works, cutie. that's if you already know where it is, but we don't."

"oh!"

he snickers, affectionately rolling his eyes. you two stumble upon a village, and you just fall in love with a cute little calico that's patrolling the rivers near the village. "aww, it's so cute! it's mine now." you cooed, crouching and slowly stalking towards it. you were a little rusty at minecraft and forgot that you're supposed to hold fish to tame a cat, so you accidentally hit it. "NO!" you cried. "i want to tame it!"

charlie, upon hearing this, immediately dives his minecraft character into the lake and finds you fish at a record-breaking pace, running back up to you and handing you three cod. "here. now you can click it, to tame it. you need fish." he assures you gently, smiling to himself.

you do as he said and tame it with one fish! you gasp. "it's meant to be." clapping, you burst into amused giggles. "i'm gonna name him..." you punched a cactus, putting into a furnace and mixing it with white dye. turning the cat's collar green, you proclaim, "charlie."

so (cat) charlie became a permanent fixture on the chuckle smp. he was part of numerous bits and mostly liked to sleep on your pink bed in your cute little cottage. you even made (human) charlie a little room in your house to sleep when he was over. and he was over so much, chat genuinely forgot he had made his own base when he first started the smp. eventually the shipping got so bad that you two decided to get married.

in minecraft, that is! and charlie totally didn't freak out and put on an actual suit, putting on cologne— even though it was over stream— and fixing his hair. he even polished up his glasses for this! ted was charlie's best man while your maid of honor was (cat) charlie, and everyone unanimously decided that schlatt should be the flower girl. and so he was!

you walked down the aisle on a llama (who was canonically your dad), and charlie broke out into a huge, embarrassing grin upon seeing your minecraft character. he was head-over-fucking heels, and it was a little embarrassing. it was a minecraft skin after all, but he knew that you were the face behind it, and that was the best part. sometimes he woke up with a grin on his face from the fact that you even gave him a second look, let alone were his friend!

"do you, charlie slimecicle—" tucker, the officiator, said in a mock deep voice. "take this lovely person here to be your partner forever?"

"i do." his voice wobbled.

a grin spread across your face, and charlie's eyes were locked onto your face cam. you'd also gotten dressed up for the occasion in a cute little white outfit. "and do you take charlie slimecicle to be your partner forever?"

"i do."

tucker grinned, gesturing to charlie's minecraft character. "you may now kiss the groom," he drawled.

your two minecraft characters crouched and smooshed into each other's faces in a weird, kiss-like action. the "rings" you exchanged were a pink hair tie for charlie that he quickly slid onto his wrist and a green matching one for yourself. it was picture-perfect, and you supposed, good practice for when if you actually got married.

after the beautiful minecraft wedding, you made a teensy tiny little offhand comment that made charlie's heart pound and his head fucking spin. you two were joking around and you quipped, "charlie, i told my mom i was getting married, and now she said she has to meet you. make sure you're up to par, ya know."

"m—meet her?" he stammered, eyes wide. "uh, i mean— okay." charlie's voice cracked at the end as if he was twelve and not twenty-six.

well, the editors went crazy with the whole thing. the wedding, the 'meeting-your-mom' part and especially the matching hair ties the two of you never ever took off. you two had taken the whole by storm for getting married on a minecraft server!

perny who is loved by the girls, the gays, + the theys. she streams about twice a week + her main platforms are pinterest, tiktok + twitch! she has a youtube, but she uses it for lifestyle content + "day in the life" videos + her tiktok is mostly the same thing, plus the occasional trend!

perny who mostly streams stardew valley, animal crossing, unpacking, minecraft + the sims. she's actually mostly known for her hello kitty island adventure playthrough (since she's the most popular streamer to stream the game), but sometimes she boots up powerwashing simulator (it relaxes them) + legend of zelda breath of the wild. also every other month she has a super mario 64 playthrough for the nostalgia where she answers questions from chat. well-known for her baking streams, her barbie marathon w/ ted nivison, + playing hello kitty adventure with charlie slimecicle + jschlatt! (how you convinced schlatt to play, no one will never know)

perny who lives in zurich, switzerland. she hates the cold + the time difference away from all her friends is unbearable!! but that's just how it is for them, lots of discord calls at 4am for them + watching american streamer's "morning streams" when it is nowhere near morning for them!

perny who has her little quirks, some of which have been compiled + made into youtube compilations. she won't eat on stream, if she does eat she'll deliberately do it away from the camera. always sits with at least one her legs hugged to her chest. takes internet drama SUPER seriously (which are never actually about reader, but more that she hangs out with schlatt who is 'controversial' + things like that). wears matching friendship bracelets with her favorite streamer friends. has pink-post it notes all over her setup. when nervous, she reapplies her lipgloss. her name's pernilla, but she goes by perny online.

charlie had been streaming for what felt like days. you two had decided to do one of your classic "joint streams", where you two would stream together and swap off who was playing. for the first few hours you played hello kitty island adventure, chatting to charlie's chat while he sat next to you and stared at you dopily like an obedient puppy. then you two swapped to super mario party and charlie got waaay too competitive for a casual game between boyfriend and girlfriend.

"yes! let's fucking go!" he cheered, a victorious grin on his face. you two booted up a round of all-star swingers (which was just baseball) and he absolutely obliterated your character. he even got up and stretched before the round started like the tryhard he was. his character, king boo, cheered as your character, princess peach, cried. the parallel to real life was pretty funny— in game you were devastated, while in real life you just sat there. charlie, feeling bad that he didn't at least give you some mercy (and because chat was grilling him for being a tryhard), he gave you a kiss on the lips. "sorry. i'm a sore winner," he grinned sheepishly.

after around seven rounds of mario party, it was now charlie's turn to take over stream. he started playing "a game about digging a hole" which, no duh, was about digging holes. he started playing animatedly, not even noticing your drooping eyes and the little yawns that escaped your lips.

eventually, he glanced over to his side to see chat blowing up.

as per chat's request demand, charlie turned to his side to see you curled up in the gaming chair, resting your head on the armrest and asleep in the fetal position. an amused smile tugged at his lips, a fond expression replacing his competitive one. "aww," he cooed, echoing chat's sentiments.

he turned down his game volume completely and swiveled his chair towards you. "chat," he whispered, voice low. "let's be quiet, okay? don't wanna wake her up."

resting his forearms on his thighs, he scooted a little closer and turned to chat as if they were there. "psst," he leaned closer to the camera. "should i turn on some calming music while she sleeps?"

chat exploded with yes's and omg couple goals! of course, no chat was without its trolls ("play four big guys!"), but overall they were quiet and the TTS decreased significantly, and when someone did, it was mostly nice things, and charlie had turned the audio down to a very quiet volume.

he draped a fuzzy blanket over your frame, gently putting a hand under your head and sliding a pillow under your head smoothly. he also squeezed fufu, your bunny stuffed animal and "co-streamer", into your arms.

the chat exploded with ideas of calming music, but charlie was determined to find great music on his own. so he typed into youtube "music to fall asleep to", like a grandma using the internet for the first time. he clicked on the first result, classical music. however, he played it for a second and the grating music was more likely to wake you up than lull you into deeper sleep. begrudgingly, he took chat's advice. one chatter said:

"shit." he muttered under his breath. "yeah, that's a good idea." charlie pulled up your spotify, pernylovesuu. the profile picture was you with fufu tucked under your chin, smiling as the sun framed your face perfectly. charlie's face flushed. "she looks cute in that photo," he murmurs, glancing from the screen towards your sleeping frame. "i mean, she always does." he chuckles fondly, shaking his head gently. "it's just a good photo."

clicking onto your playlists, he found sleepytime. perfect! he turned on the first song of the playlist, say yes to heaven.

"guys, this is my version of heaven." a goofy grin crosses his face as he leans over, ruffling your hair gently. charlie glances from the camera to you and whispers, "okay, chat, i'm gonna move her over to the bed." as careful as a mouse, he slips his hands under you and cradles you to his chest.

moving across the room and cringing when the floorboards creak, he places you down on the bed and tugs the blanket up to your chin, adjusting fufu so the bunny was propped up next to you.

"there, baby. cozy in bed." he smiled proudly, pressing a kiss to your forehead before going back to his stream.

of course, this was charlie, so he ended up shrieking and waking you up with a start. to apologize, the next you streamed a glimmering tiffany & co necklace adorned your neck. slimecicloset identified the necklace to be around $1,250.

guilt is expensive.

it was a nice little thing schlatt did. shouting out youtubers he liked for shits and giggles, challenging jack manifold to do the same and subsequently charlie getting challenged by jack.

of course charlie was going to mention some of his favorite youtubers! some who specialized in d&d, music production, content creators who made him think and ones he had been fans of since he could practically speak.

but there was a wildcard in there, a small youtuber named frostedsugarcookiehearts. her content wasn't exactly what people expected charlie slimecicle would watch.

frostedsugarcookiehearts was a cute little youtuber who did baking videos that leaned more towards asmr, giving comforting advice to viewers while making classic recipes. her most popular video was failing :(, a chocolate chip cookie baking tutorial that comforted the viewer and discussed failure.

and charlie? obsessed. he knew that he had to shout out the cute little baker youtuber in his video. she had comforted him throughout the highs and lows of his life (parasocially, of course) and he was practically in love with her.

"the next channel i'm shouting out is frostedsugarcookiehearts. they're a small youtube channel who bakes recipes while talking to you about life. imagine..." he pauses, looking up. "a girly version of theweeklyslap, but she's baking instead of playing COD."

a few clips of your videos flickered over the screen, and a little portion of your most recent video played. your voice was quiet and soft, the kind that put you to sleep like a lullaby. "the editing too and the production just gives it this really unique, cozy feeling that i don't really get on a lot of other channels." he chuckled, smiling at the screen.

charlie's hands vaguely wave in the air as he pauses, trying to put his thoughts into words. "it's like- it's like i'm in a dream, or at least like, everyone else in the world is... asleep. and you're just like, in this girl's workshop. she's kinda walking you through all of this stuff, but it's like her domain. it's like being in a mad wizard's lair, but a really fun, friendly mad wizard."

he let out a little chuckle, shaking his head as his voiceover echoed through clips of your videos where you're baking chocolate chip cookies and cakes while helping out your audience. "but now, i kinda just like to check in from time to time. see how she's doing- fuck, i'm parasocial. i'm parasocial. but i really like being in her kitchen and seeing her work and i really like the style! it feels, it feels really cool, it feels really cozy and feels so genuine. go check her out. just ... seems like a good person."

he looks up at the screen, smile wide as he adjusts his glasses.
