I was a bit out of ideas while making this cuz of bad cramps but it'll be fine lol my first laptop should arrive today which makes me really happy<3 guys I love Tommy February6 songs too much I'll never let them go.. Guys I totally didn't think of ratatouille when saying your eyes widened with each word because of that one short chef trust Might make a pt2 to this cuz this is such a cool idea but I kinda rushed this cuz of some things I needed to get ready for</3

Shadow was known as a loner who never engages with people unless he knows them well enough and can trust them with everything. He is an emotionally unavailable person with little to no knowledge on how to successfully comfort someone which makes it hard for his peers to engage with him or make small talk since he always gives dry and short responses that are hard to respond to

Since he's so distant to people it felt near impossible to be friends with him, only a few people successfully cracking through his facade and becoming close friends with him

But you wanted something more than friendship, something more, intimate something more romantic, and something more close now of course that was a hard task to achieve

You were certain that if he did reject your advances he couldn't act nice (hundred percent he'd look at you disgusted and degrade you before leaving) which is why it would be hard to face him directly face to face

What you didn't know was that the hedgehog was in fact quote infatuated with you! Stealing quick glances while you're around, getting quiet when you walk in the door, keeping his hands seen whole you're talking to him

It was quite obvious for most, especially Amy and Sonic, instead of teasing him like he expected (even if sonic did tease him a bit) they were telling him to make a letter and how cute that could be

They referred him to some shops that could have cute things and stickers for the letter, even giving him some pointers how to express his feelings in writing (me next please I need a tip or two) after a while of working on the letter, he decided to stop, thinking it would be stupid

Someone as great as you could never like somebody as brooding as him! Why'd he ever try? He decided to go outside and throw it in that dumpster instead if the one inside so no one finds a trade of the letter

What he didn't realize was that he threw it in the wrong trash. The trash was full and if anything else was in there he'd be certain it would fall out. Doubling down he throws it anyway and leaves, going to go sulk in a corner probably

In this hot day he decided it would he best to sulk inside.. As for you, you decide to go take a walk outside since the weather was so nice, while walking around you spot the letter

Like a good pedestrian you pick up the letter and try to throw it in the trash before realizing it was addressed to you! What could possibly be in it? Curiousity gets the best of you, you decide to open the letter and read it... Your eyes widen slowly with each word as you realize it's a love letter from shadow

"I wish everyday could be like this" you say to yourself in surprise. He really did like you?! This felt like a dream come true as more emotions started spiraling in your mind

Shadow was very reserved and that's a known fact, but when it comes to his loved ones he isn't afraid to go all out for them, on some occasions you wonder if you are enough

No matter how reserved and quiet Shadow may seem his actions will always tell you that he loves you even if he still takes some time to get fully comfortable when you two are in a relationship

Shadow does feel bad that he seems so reserved while in a serious relationship with you, he feels he should make up his lack for words/communication with gifts and other surprises

For February he thought he could give you something that you'd really like, you've been talking about something expensive you have been saving up for

So he went to the store and went all out, buying you many type of chocolates, giant bears, and the thing you've been saving up for

It was always nice to treat a partner with gifts. So why couldn't he buy you expensive things? It's not like he's broke, he's pretty well off with many stuff he's done and got compensated for

What he didn't except, was that you were more shocked than anything

"How much did this cost?!" You ask, in shock of that many gifts, it's like he was a deadbeat dad who came by once a year to give his daughter a mountain of gifts

"Does that really matter?" He responds with another question, throwing you off guard. It didn't matter to him if he bought you too much, as long as you're well treated

You scoff, not in anger, but in love. You felt so lucky to have shadow as your partner. No matter how indifferent you act to his gifts, he still treats you to awesome memories and gifts

Shadow is emotionally unavailable and unstable from past trauma of losing a loved one

It was no surprise he'd do anything not to go through that again

At first your friendship with shadow the hedgehog seemed strained, he'd be cold and distant like he was with everyone else, it felt like he was purposely trying to exclude and isolate you from everyone else using the excuse that "he was uncomfortable with you"

But what you didn't notice on those cold walks home, walking back from yet another failed get together, was that he is watching every move, making sure you get home safely

Slowly yet surely flowers and letter started appearing on your door, the first one was on the first of February, the letter stated that you'd be his valentines

It didn't seem like a request, but a demand

A cold and brutal demand that left you in fear for what's to come

Like any other normal person, you when to the police, friends and family to get some help, but the police said they couldn't do anything since they're anonymous and hasn't made any big threats

Friends said you should be happy that you have a secret admirer, some family even gushing about a potential partner

That left you to fend for yourself, if course you were mad about not getting mad and he knew

Until you got small calls

You could hear strained and inconsistent breathing from the other line, they slowly started letting out small greetings

"Did you like the gift I left you?" The caller suddenly blurts out, his voice sounded rough and a few octaves lower, like he just had a coughing session

You hang up the phone, if he did leave something, you could get it to the police as evidence

When you open the door, you see a small heart box of chocolate, your fingers reach for it, gripping the top

As you open it you find flesh and other intestines

Your blood ran cold, who was this? Who did this belong to? Where did they get it? Why did they get it? Millions of questions ran through your brain before dropping the box, you close the door and run to call the police, sadly before you could reach the phone you had someone putting a cloth napkin over your mouth and nose

A gun was held to your forehead, you recognize that hand... Was it really him?

"Don't you dare, they won't believe you" Shadow said, pushing the gun against your temples, the cold metal digging into your skin as the growing fear in your eyes became for evident

Apparently evident enough for him to see...

"Do you think I like punishing you?! Because I don't! It's not my fault you tried to call the cops! If you wouldn't have been so nice and flirty to the others expect for me, this wouldn't have happened" he raised his voice with every word that sneered out of his mouth, suddenly he lets you go, instead opting to grab you in a chokehold

"It'll be fine.. You won't leave, right? If you run, I'll break your legs" of course you would run! Your hands gripped his arm that had you trapped, you bent your knees a but to lower your center of gravity before throwing him over you

A loud thud assaulted your ears, that was sign enough to start running, but before you could he grabbed your ankle, his hands digging into your skin before he pulled you down with him

There was no escaping him, he wouldn't let you go

Ever since February started Sonic and Amy have been BEGGING for a double date to happen, they thought it would be cute and a nice bonding time for you all

Ever since then Shadow has gotten an earful from 3 people to go on a double date

He soon caved too when you joined in the begging to go

After a few days of dread, the day finally came and.. Oh no! The ultimate life form; shadow the hedgehog has to go to a restaurant and socialize!

Shadow watches as you shuffle on your shoes, his mind wandering to the possibility of staying home

He knew it wasn't possible to argue so he just sucks it up

after getting home Shadow pours him and zou a drink, he isn't a heavy drinker by any means but he does let himself indulge in somethinhg nice to drink every once in a while <3

He's cockiness and how much he sass mouths people is on a different level which can make people indifferent about him, but when it really matters he can be one of the greatest people ever, to his friends and loved ones he'd always be kind and ready to help

That Isn't any different with his partner

I'd see sonic in a relationship someone who's always reassuring you even if the situation doesn't call for it

He's just that kind of person who wants their partner to be completely comfortable in the relationship even if his words of affirmation can be a bit too much sometimes

So why did you try? Everytime he sees u the fans in his body immediately try to cool his heating body so it wouldn't overheat

The faulty in his code made his "thoughts" wander away from his tasks and that thought was of you how was he able to get so distracted by a mere mortal like you

He didn't know how he could control these disruptions or why they were there but if he knew one thing he knew it was because of you

He knew that everytime he saw u going easy on him or still having respect for him that his body would start heating rapidly

it would be reasonable to confront the disruption right?

His mechanical body was seen walking through the streets, on his way to your apartment

He didn't know if he could feel or even WAS feeling something but even then he didn't want to just waste the opportunity to see you

The more he reads the more he understands you feel the exact same way as he does

Right on cue, you walk through the entrance door, towel on your wet hair and fresh new pyjamas

Sonic wasn't the type for any kinds of stretchy exercise, he'd much rather do some cardio or something that would involve him using his gift of running. He was made for running fast not a pilates swan dive!

So when you asked if he wanted to do some pilates together, at the time, he was still cocky and thinking he was able to do it. Oh how wrong the speedster was

He was currently struggling to do a bridge March, his thin arms weren't strong enough to hold himself up for that long but his legs were just fine

You on the other hand knew to keep your breathing regulated and take breaks when needed, unlike sonic who was cocky, saying he was able to power through it (why does that remind me of those lactose intolerant ppl who day they power through but can't)

Even when he was struggling, Sonic still took some time to admire you; you were driven by your passion, goal oriented, beautiful and always knew how to cheer someone up by comforting them with your words

Sonic's admiration for you had no limits

But one thing that sent him spiraling in particular was how you currently looked

Sonic isn't much of a romantic person, but when he is, it's always fun and entertaining

His ideas flow like a river and his enthusiasm is unmatched

So it wasn't a surprise that when the month of love came up, he was all over you with chocolate, physical affection, and much more

On this particular evening he decided to stay home with you and bake some heart macaroons while dancing to music

He asked a few friends for help and got some recipes online to know what to buy and how to bake them

It was a fool proof plan

The two of you were cleaning the mess from flour and anything that might have got messy while dancing to music during the baking session

Sonic even started breakdancing (please tell me someone has seen him breakdance because oh em gee why is he lowkey good at it) the macaroons were in the oven and you two finally had a moment together, away from harm and stress

As you continued to mop, you didn't notice sonic looking at you, he was admiring you, the way you were dancing, singing and just enjoying life

"I can never get enough of of looking at you like this" he suddenly blurts out, you look back at him, smiling

"Ok, Mr. Charming, don't forget the macaroons" you retort, before turning back to the mess on the counter

It wasn't a rare occurrence for sonic to compliment you, quite the contrary! He was always on and with you whenever he could or when he wasn't on some adventure

He looks back at you

"I know your smiling!" He says, beaming, he knew you loved when he was affectionate and so did he. Sonic always felt guilty when he had to cancel plans because of something going on, but he knew this was enough to make it up to you

He loved every second of it, maybe it would be nice to do this more often

Nightly patrol, a common thing when working for Eggman. Even though you've done this so many times this one felt special, really special

You had a guest, or... Is it even ok to call a robot a guest? Either way, you had Metal sonic with you for this night patrol. He sadly wasn't able to speak so it made this patrol all the more silent, something that's usually to your liking if it weren't for you subtle admiration and fascination for the inorganic metal robot

Metal sonic was such a nut case, it's insane. Metal sonic was devoted until eons, caring to his fellow robots (and his lil bros orbot and cubot) , he feels no fear, his "free will" will never truly be free, that's what intrigued you the most. He had so many chances to be free (idw comics) yet he always went back to Eggman in hopes of getting praise for ruining himself to serve and protect, something that lack; loyalty and commitment

So when you were picked to go around the city to check for any intruders with metal sonic, you were ecstatic. You are most likely a researcher or another secret spy for Eggman, but the fascination for metal sonic was customary for many

The walk was nice, the cool air of the night felt refreshing after the warm air of the ship. Even though no one was talking the memories felt like some to remember, enjoying each other's company was enough you, maybe even both if you're lucky. That could never happen right?

Metal sonic may be a robot but he wasn't naive, he notices your apparent infatuation with him. Quick glances, fleeting touches, and getting quieter when he enters a room. He noticed it all. So when he had to meet you in the pale moonlight (I'M THE SWEETEST GIRL IN TOWN DO WHY ARE YOU SO MEAN? I LOVE MEET ME IN THE PALE MOONLIGHT SM) his mind would wander to all the moments he's spent thinking of you, thinking of reciprocating your feelings. He didn't know emotions yet it felt so right to love you

This silent walk may not be romantically fulfilling but it did make him feel warm inside, the fans in his body noticed this too, making them fan his body until he eventually cool down

The leaves rustled as the wind smoothly passed through the city

It was already 12 AM, you and amy went to the store for some chips. Valentine's was always spent with the girls, amy was usually the one who was crying about unrequited love, but even though she talked about sonic non stop she was still a great friend and never made you felt unappreciated.

Your shoes clicked against the hard concrete on the floor, you 2 didn't say a word to each other, instead opting to enjoy the silence of the walk, it wasn't awkward, it was just silence

The streets were illuminated by the yellow lights of the street lamps, some lamps had a more golden and rusty look from their old age

"What flavor did you get?" Amy says, breaking the silence.

"Sour cream and onion" a yawn escapes your lips, the cool air and late time was getting to you. You planned to watch a show with amy before heading to bed but it felt more reasonable to go to bed as soon as your feet hit the ground of your apartment

"I hate the start of the year, it's always so cold.." You say, your legs felt like they were ice pops at this point. You thought it would be better not to wear more layers because it would be a quick trip, a decision you deeply regret

As you two continue to walk, you look at the many clocks that the city had to offer; some stating the time, others stating the temperature while some only said the date

Amy suddenly takes your hand and drags you to the right, you look back at her as confused as ever, in the background you notice the apartment door

It seems your walk is over, but you still have some time with your best friend, even if she's lovesick she'll always be the best in your book.
