Hoard, Decay, Staked, Lightning for Orion

♦ - HOARD - something that is precious to them 

Orion can be a very sentimental person. Things that are given to him as gifts from friends or loved ones are especially precious to him. In KHR’s AU, his flame ring is a present from his mom and something that he holds extremely dear even if he won’t admit it. In powers AUs, it could be anything Luzia has given him that doesn’t decay (LOL). In Pokemon it’s Mr. Fish, the Pokemon he has received from Nikolai, and the items he has gotten from his mom in the last mission. All these things are very important due to being given. 

✿ - DECAY - an old memory, from childhood perhaps

When he was around five years old, his family and the Indigos went to a theme park one afternoon. He rode a carousel, went on the ferris wheel, and sat in some tea cups. Those childhood memories are foggy now, and mostly he remembers images of pictures taken rather than the event itself. However, it’s a time of fun and laughter and as hard as it is to believe with how his family is and can be, it’s nice.  

♥ - STAKED - a jarring event, something that changed their life/outlook

In the KHR verse, he was around eight or nine years old when he channeled his flames for the first time. Oriana, his mom, was working on some box animal or something and left a ring out, and he pulled it off the table and tried it on. The ring reacted to his inner flames and exploded with flame that terrified him despite having seen it before plenty of times being used by other people. The incident is still pretty focused in his mind. 

ϟ - LIGHTNING - something they thought they’d left in the past, returned

Klaus was a former boyfriend. Their relationship was less about emotional connection and more about an abuse of power and social dynamic that was already in place. Despite this, Orion still had feelings for him which has always left a sick taste in his mouth. As much as he hates certain aspects of that relationship, there are certain things he found nice about the entire thing. It was kind of a mess and for the best that they broke when they did. Him stepping in at any point in Orion’s life would be a jarring event.
