my personal headcanon is katherina inheriting roma's face AND juliette's personality. because i can just imagine roma and katherina playing in the front yard while juliette is preparing lunch and it goes like:

Roma: what do we have here?

Katherina, age 3, running past: a KNIFE!!

Roma: NO—

and juliette would laugh her ass off from the kitchen while watching roma go into full panic mode because of the plastic knife she gave katherina to prank him.

it was clear that after a certain amount of years of veneziano and romano living together, that they would both decide it would be a good change of pace to have their own homes in their own respective sides of the nation.

for -- what would be going unsaid -- a well needed break from each other. they thought that living together would be a step in the right direction, especially after their unification, but there still laid a blanket of unease over the two. like they had to continuously be walking on eggshells when in each others presence. there's no way for you to ease yourself into some sort of made up harmony that has no build up, right?

so veneziano has his own home in venice, while romano has his own home in rome.

but change doesn't come so easy, especially not after you unintentionally adapt to having your other half by your side almost every day.

sure, each italy has their own home in their respective parts of the country, but out in the middle in the beautiful city of ancona, lies a home built for two.

for when veneziano and romano need to just wind down and become feliciano and lovino. for when they need to escape from the responsibilities of the world and just enjoy the others presence. for when they needed time to just be themselves with themselves only. no nation representatives, no worrying about their country, no need to pretend to be anyone so big and important.

they're able to finally make up for lost time. to spend every waking moment together and take note about any and every small detail about the other.

feliciano learns that lovino has a habit of singing in the shower when he thinks he can't hear him.

lovino learns that feliciano mumbles a lot in his sleep when he struggles to take his afternoon siesta.

feliciano learns that lovino has a natural green thumb when it comes to planting various pretty flowers for the house.

lovino learns that feliciano prefers eating dinner out on the veranda in order to get a beautiful view of the sunset along the ocean.

feliciano and lovino both get to learn that the other isn't really that big of a hassle to live with like they previously might've thought.

and so when staying in their empty houses in venice and rome gets to be too much for them, they learn that without sparing a second to communicate, they can both head for their home in ancona. to continue to patch old wounds, and to further create new heartwarming memories together.

and then he notices you, of course, how could he not. you come to most of his games. he wants to believe you come for him.

then he finds out you're the coach's daughter.

how he's never met you before is beyond him but he really wants to. it's embarrassing really.

eventually, after a game, he runs into you leaving the coaching box.

because he's a charmer, he gets your number after a ten-minute talk he was lucky enough to get out of you.

you go on a few dates. the movies. the park. the arcade at your request. and he finds out, much to his delight or not he's not sure, that he genuinely likes you.

you're smart, way too smart for him, he thinks, funny, fucking hilarious, shy went you want to be and loud around your friends. worse than him, he thinks.

you're much more than the past girlfriends he's had.

when he finds out you've never skated before, he's amazed. being the coach's daughter.

he finds you a pair of skates straight away and takes you out on the ice.

"steve, im gonna fall on my ass."

"I won't let you. promise."

you shake like a leaf, gripping way too hard onto his hands as he guides you out onto the ice.

"alright, now stand up a bit - yeah that's it, baby. straighten your legs up."

"I can't."

"yeah, you can."

you do as he says and honestly, he's shocked you trust him this much. it hits him right in the gut.

"Im sorry, your poor hands."

"im fine, promise. had worse."

"I've seen the black eyes, steve."

"exactly."

he gets you so wound down, you don't even notice when he lets go of you.

he skates away from you, cheering.

"that's it! look at you go!"

"steve! what the fuck, come back!'

'you're doing so well, baby!"

eventually, you fall on your knees and feel like a complete fool.

he helps you up and he has it in him to feel a little bad.

"you okay? your knees okay?"

"just a little embarrassed."

"right. well, let's go get some food, yeah?"

eventually, you go to all his games just for him.

he blows you kisses before the game starts and comes up to the plexiglass after to fog it up and draw little hearts like a total cornball.

you've totally turned him into some lovely fool that puts king!steve to shame.

still, he gets into fights because he cant help himself.

he feels bad, really, awful, when he finds you on the sidelines looking a little upset.

he gets patched up by a medic and goes to find you straight away.

"your nose is bleeding."

"I'm okay."

you reach up and cup his face. "your lovely eyes, steve."

"I promise I'm okay."

"that's gonna bruise."

he lets you take him home and ice him up. he takes the scolding and the warnings because he deserves them.

"did you really need to hit him once he was down?"

"probably not."

"probably not. stop getting into fights, steve. you're gonna end up seriously hurt."

he promises to never get into another fight once he sees you crying.

he doesn't.

“Uhhh, your turn, I believe,” James’s words are slurred with fatigue, each syllable toppling over the next until he finally gives up on sounding coherent, pointing to you instead.

He had insisted on staying up with you about an hour or two ago, promising that he wouldn’t get too tired no matter what. A few hours later and you’d settled on playing a game: each person says one thing that reminds them of the other when it’s their turn. So far it’s been simple, a sunset he saw the other day, a pair of glasses that looked similar to his, and you assume it’ll continue that way.

“A deer on the drive home.” You reply.

His lips part, “And you didn’t offer it a ride? What if it’d been me?”

You giggle and he pouts, crossing his arms.

“James, you were next to me.”

He tilts his head, genuine curiosity coating his voice. “Was I? Maybe I should sleep.”

You nod at his admission. “‘s what I’ve been saying.”

He shakes his head a little too aggressively, “I take that back, my turn?”

You hum.

“‘kay so I came across this poem, and it reminded me of you, it’s quite long though.”

You can feel your heart melting at his words, warmth blossoming in your chest as you formulate a response

“Yeah? What’s it called?”

He racks his brain for a moment, “Everyday You Play? ‘m not sure who wrote it though.” His brow puckers.

i have many mason headcanons that aren't even Head, simply because i keep saying shit that eventually just gets confirmed via asks or canon content. HOWEVER. i do have one specific Actual headcanon that mason was a huge scene icon on myspace in the early 2000s. I'm saying he was on there making glittery scene kid blingee aesthetic pictures and posting them once a week all dressed up in the neons and black with the fucked up raccoon hair, but after the peak of the homoemo era ended, he deleted his account. This lead to him becoming a mysterious scene icon, whose pictures float around on the internet to this day as the very definition of the myspace golden era. same levels of iconic as these pictures.

Monroe , arrested for murder monroe managed to let the oxygen out of her boyfriends room while he slept after catching him checking out another girl. slight overreaction since he only looked but she was always the jealous type.

Bree , arrested for theft of alcohol bree never gave the guards a break after her arrest. she couldn’t believe she was going to be executed for getting drunk just a year before legal, anything she could do to make their job just that much harder and she’d do it twice.

Roma , arrested for assault roma got in a lot of fights before her arrest, she blamed every one on someone else just like she did with anything. she got away with the first few as they were prior to the oxygen crisis and the ark didn’t like to arrest underage people unless they had to, if they could break up a fight before it got to violent that just meant one less teenager up for review and possible execution.
