and even if we are delusional, why is that such a bad thing?? can i, a psychotic creature, not be comfortable with my own delusions?? why must i feel ashamed of them?? people who say stuff like that are not only invalidating non-psychotic physical alterhumans, but excluding and ostracizing psychotic ones even more!! why must we be excluded from one of the very few communities that should accept us??

talking to other psychotic ppl is genuinely a breath of fresh air,,

i talked to someone for a bit about my creature hallucinations, and they told me they experience similar ones,, they said they leave out little treats for them, and i talked abt how sometimes i let them pick things out when im shopping,, it was so nice to be treated with respect even while talking abt smth that would get me judged anywhere else

why is it that i cant say anything about myself to people without immediately regretting everything and being paranoid that theyre judging me

talking is so hard wtf how do i know if im making sense??? my head is all jumbled with the words so when they come out its all ???? like what do they mean?? how do i get them to mean what i mean???

1. i use the label otherkin, and i fall under multiple categories within that label (mostly fictionkin, creaturekin, and songkin). im also technically an endel but prefer to label those experiences as otherkin instead

2. i have many kintypes, but my most important ones are: eddie munson - stranger things, sal fisher - sally face, catkin, and white ghost cicada-kin,, i am also a false god and a prophet, but those arent kintypes

3. i do experience shifts, and i am permashifted to sal and eddie, but other than them my most common shifts are mello - death note, calne ca, and ako udagawa - bandori

4. everything i do is impacted by my alterhumanity,, there really isnt a part of my life thats not impacted by it

5. all of my current friends were met through the alterhuman/otherkin community, and its where i socialize most

6. being able to freely talk about my kintypes and beliefs

7. somewhat, but i dont really regard my physical form as being “human” so its not necessarily the worst thing

8. utilize your community, they will help you find a place of belonging and answer any questions you may have

9. i currently have a pair of calico cat ears, but id really like to have a tail as well

10. i believe in reincarnation and past lives, as well as soul links through the multiverse theory,, i am also physically nonhuman in some regards,, im sure some of my alterhumanity comes from trauma and/or mental illness as well

its so fucking frustrating not being able to form full unique sentences whenever talking to people- instead i get stuck with the same five responses shuffled around and the looming fear of the people i care about getting sick of the repetitiveness

this omg!! my body is not and never has been human because i am not biologically human!! i respect those who identify as holothere/physically nonhuman for abstract or philosophical reasons, but Please understand that some of us are quite literally Not Physically Human,, while some may not accept this reality as their own, i would just like to not be outcast in a community that claims to support those like myself :3

I have no complaint against folks who use terms like holothere, physical nonhuman, etc. to mean that they view their body as nonhuman because it brings them euphoria to do so or it connects to their physical disability or they're nonhuman and it's their body so it's a nonhuman body. That's who the words are for. But I also want to be clear to all our followers as well as any potential ones that when I say I'm physically nonhuman I don't mean it as a philosophical approach, I mean I know that our body is anatomically inhuman, and the words are also for us and people like us. When I call myself physically an animal I mean "I could point to where on my body I have tangibly noticed feathers." I mean "I've hidden my face from others before out of worry they'd see that my mouth is a wolverine mouth right now." If there's room in the alterhuman community for the physical weirdos and freaks there's gotta be room for the genuine certifiable crazies and not just the slightly more palatable explicable version that exists in the same reality as everyone else.

And yeah I just wanted to be clear because it does sometimes seem like the default assumption is that "physical nonhuman" is an abstract concept for one's own subjective perception of their body until you admit you're a specific schizospec disorder and pledge that you're seeking psychiatric treatment, so when I say my body has grown feathers before, it's like, a metaphor

sometimes i wish people would treat me like a feral cat instead of a broken human... i saw a video of a girl who took in a cat off the streets and was slowly building its trust and i just... i wish someone had that kind of patience for me,,

why cant i be loved from afar without being touched? why cant i be met with understanding and kindness when i lash out due to fear? im just tired and lonely and scared, i just want to be cared for and cared about…
