Cine: Berdreymi / Beautiful Beings (2022)

La violencia recorre el metraje de forma constante, desde el principio y de una forma contundente: con el feroz ataque de un grupo de abusivos al pobre de Balli (Áskell Einar Pálmason), que termina en el hospital. El muchacho tiene una vida dura: vive en una casa en estado deplorable junto a su madre (Ísgerður Elfa Gunnarsdóttir), su hermana mayor (Kristín Ísold Jóhannesdóttir) y la constante amenaza de un padrastro violento que en cualquier momento puede regresar (Ólafur Darri Ólafsson).

Contra todo pronóstico, una vez casi recuperado, el tímido Balli se encuentra con un grupo de chicos que parecen amenazantes, pero con los que termina afianzando una cercanía que preocuparía a cualquier padre responsable: Addi (Birgir Dagur Bjarkason), suerte de líder del cuarteto, hijo de una madre que cree fervientemente en lo paranormal (Anita Briem, a quien ya habrás visto junto a Brendan Fraser en "Viaje al centro de la Tierra" en 2008); el turbulento Konni (Viktor Benóný Benediktsson), apodado "El Animal" por su tendencia impulsiva y excesivamente violenta (es un milagro que todavía no haya matado a nadie) y Siggi (Snorri Rafn Frímannsson), que sólo está para acompañarlos.

Los días juntos transitan entre tonterías peligrosas, cigarrillos robados, alguna droga, muchas peleas y aún más tonterías peligrosas. En cuanto al componente gay (por algo está en este blog), apunten entre Addi y Konni.

Guðmundur Arnar Guðmundsson escribe y dirige con gran pericia esta candidata islandesa (quedó afuera) al Premio de la Academia de Hollywood como Mejor Película Internacional. Claro que lo más destacable del filme son las actuaciones (en especial al de los jóvenes), la fotografía y, no menos importante, la filmación de las escenas de violencia, que son expuestas con visceral impacto.

Second installment in the series, we begin to see the danger in following Grindelwald, Dumbledore and Scamander attempt to thwart him before it’s too late. (MyGod what will the next THREE movies contain?!) Ah I fell asleep during the midnight associate showing at work - doesn’t seem like I missed much, Grindelwald’s ramping up his war on muggles and now he’s got Credence’s Obscurial on his side.....While being visually stunning I found it kind of a blah movie. Do we Need these like 3 filler movies? It felt kind of like we were running in place - even if we’re moving towards the final showdown between Dumbledore and Grindelwald. I think I was initially excited for these movies as yay more wizarding world, like with The Cursed Child; but now they just seem like cash grabs. Wish we could’ve gotten more info on the creatures we did see, like the kelpie, that chinese cat thing (a Chinese Zouwu, thank you IMDb), the Maledictus (how/why does Nagini get involved with Voldemort if she’s now with Credence and Grindelwald? I don’t want to wait through three more movies to find out! gahh) Holy skull hookah, Grindelwald! Also I was slightly distracted for like the whole movie by how much #JudeLaw looks like an older Justin Timberlake. I may have to reserve judgement for this one until I (oh god) watch all Five of these movies. Fantastic Beast 2 vừa chính thức đi vào quá trình khởi quay vào đầu tháng 7 vừa qua, bộ phim đã sẵn sàng cho sự trở lại và hứa hẹn tạo ra cơn bão càn quét các rạp chiếu phim trên toàn cầu vào tháng 11 năm 2018. Một lần nữa, kịch bản của bộ phim lại được giao cho nhà văn – mẹ đẻ của thể giới phép thuật của Harry Potter – nữ văn sỹ J.K.Rowling, chắc chắn Fantastic Beast 2 sẽ tiếp nối thành công của phần một được ra mắt hồi mùa đông năm ngoái và cho khán giả một cái nhìn toàn diện hơn về thế giới của các phù thủy. Vai trò của Newt Scamander

Newt Scamander sẽ không còn là nhân vật trung tâm nữa

  Chắc chắn nhân vật chính của phần phim đầu tiên – anh chàng Newt Scamander sẽ quay trở lại trong bộ phim thứ 2 này, tuy nhiên lần này có lẽ bộ phim sẽ không tập trung vào các cuộc phiêu lưu của nhân vật này nữa. Theo nhà sản xuất Fantastic Beast 2 sẽ chuyển hướng phát triển và chủ yếu là về quá trình trỗi dậy của Grindel Wald (có lẽ chỉ trong phần này) mà không phải những câu chuyện trong cuộc hành trình thu thập thông tin của các sinh vật trong thế giới ma thuật của Newt. Nam tài tử Eddie Redmayne vẫn sẽ đồng hành cùng bộ phim với vai diễn anh chàng đáng yêu  và có chút kỳ lạ Newt Scamander. Trong đoạn cuối của Fantastic Beast 1, Newt đã rời khỏi New York và tìm được tình yêu mới – cô nàng phù thủy Tina (do Katherine Waterson thủ vai). Phần hai sẽ lấy mốc thời gian là khi Newt quay trở lại Anh Quốc và cuốn sách của anh chàng phù thủy này đã được xuất bản rộng rãi, rất có thể Newt vẫn sẽ tìm kiếm và nghiên cứu các sinh vật huyền bí vẫn chưa được biết tới trong tự nhiên, tuy nhiên Newt vẫn sẽ cần có một kì nghỉ, bởi vì người bạn thân của anh đang cần sự giúp đỡ…… Và ai có thể từ chối lời kêu gọi của Dumbledore?

Các nhân vật sẽ quay trở lại

Tina sẽ quay trở lại trong phần 2 và tiếp tục mối tình lãng mạn với Newt

  Các vai diễn được khán giả yêu thích trong phần 1 như Tina, Queenie và Jacob cũng được thông báo là sẽ quay trở lại trong phần phim mới. Một trong những yếu tố khiến Fantastic Beast thu hút được đông đảo khán giả chính là mối tình ngọt ngào và lãng mạn giữa anh chàng No Maj (Người thường) Jacob và cô phù thủy đáng yêu Queenie. Cho dù ở cuối phim Jacob đã bị ảnh hưởng bởi thần chú xóa trí nhớ, Queenie vẫn tiếp tục đến thăm tiệm bánh của Jacob để được gặp người yêu của mình. Khán giả vẫn chưa biết J.K.Rowling sẽ làm như thế nào để đưa Jacob một lần nữa quay lại với thế giới phép thuật và lấy lại ký ức khi Newt cần sự giúp đỡ từ người bạn và người tình cũ. Có thể nói Jacob là nhân vật phi pháp thuật được đông đảo các fan của Harry Potter cũng như Fantastic Beast yêu thích, vì vậy sự trở lại của Dan Fogler và Alison được người hâm mộ vô cùng chờ đón.   Có thể bối cảnh rạp xiếc sẽ chỉ là một phần nhỏ trong tổng thể của bộ phim, tuy nhiên với tài năng của J.K.Rowling, chắc chắn nữ nhà văn sẽ mang đến một rạp xiếc ma thuật huyền ảo và cực kỳ ấn tượng đến với khán giả, nhất là sự nó sẽ có vai trò quan trọng cho toàn bộ nội dung của phim. Danh sách các diễn viên mới được lựa chọn tham gia vào phần 2 đã được công bố, diễn viên gốc Hàn Quốc Claudia Kim (cô được khán giả biết đến với vai diễn trong Avengers: Age of Ultron) sẽ trong vai một cô gái trẻ lần đầu tiên được tiếp xúc và bị thu hút bởi một gánh xiếc ma thuật. Vậy sẽ có sinh vật kỳ bí nào xuất hiện tại rạp xiếc? Và điều gì khiến nhân vật của Claudia Kim bị ám ảnh tới mức bị hấp dẫn vô điều kiện với gánh xiếc? Liệu đó có phải do ma thuật của một người nào đó. Các suy đoán của người hâm mộ liên tục được đặt ra và bàn luận. Chưa ai biết sẽ có gì tại rạp xiếc ma thuật, liệu nó có phải nơi các nhân vật trong phim giúp đỡ và che dấu Dumbledore  và Newt, khán giả sẽ được biết vai trò của nó khi bộ phim công chiếu.

Before chasing sea monsters, check your place on the food chain. Five years after rescuing most of a sub crew from an encounter he claimed involved a Megalodon, Jonas Taylor must help a research station when they meet the monster, and give it a way to the warmer surface waters. READ THE BOOK FIRST! (even though the sequels go the way of the Jaws sequels😆) I first read the book in like 5th grade (before I even read Jurassic Park or anything) and never thought I’d see this one get made into a movie. Though it was entertaining, I think it might have been better if it was just another stand alone shark or SyFy channel movie, or even if #JasonStatham had just learned another accent and didn’t sound like himself, like his usual action, spy, undercover agent man...who can also now pilot a sub. (I also thought he was sort of miscast, I think I always pictured like a Bill Paxton-y, NOT Jason Statham type as Taylor). Taylor’s interactions with #ShuyaSophiaCai (as #SophiaCai)’s Meiyang were as cute as she was. They did do a nice job referencing the original Jaws in the Sanya Bay scenes: the dog (Pippin/Pippet), the Asian Alex Kintner, the lady yelling ‘Shark!’ #RainnWilson as the bad guy was both lame and sort of predictable, but he got what he deserved, because of course in movies like this, when you think you’ve stopped/killed the monster you’re trying to stop/kill, you haven’t, or there’s a bigger version you didn’t know about.
