Helene had been away from their shared apartment now for just over two weeks, missing the home she once had, but not the man she had lived with. The nightmares woke her most of the time and she couldn’t imagine right now that it was going to get any easier. Her heart hammered in her chest everytime she thought he may find her and cause further harm, until she reminded herself that her best friend would not allow it.

Joey also knew where she was staying at the moment, mostly because he would have moved her in with himself immediately had he not been touring the states when it happened. As soon as he returned, she would be moving all her belongings into an apartment they would then inhabit together. Helene didn’t too much like the idea of getting under Colly and Charlie’s feet day in and day out for too long, so moving would be best.

Hearing a few chords from Sonnet by The Verve jolted her out of her frightful state of mind almost right away as she made a grab for her phone and choked a hello to whoever was waiting on the other end. The instant calm that washed over her when she heard the sound of Joey’s voice was unlike anything else - her heart slowed once more to a natural rhythm and she could feel her mouth turn upward into a little smile.

" How are you doing, älskling? " he rushes, wanting to know as soon as possible that his lady is being well looked after and no harm has come to her since the ordeal. It was really difficult to do anything for him now if it wasn’t worrying and stressing the whole time he was away from her. " Jag älskar dig så mycket, " he manages to squeeze at the end, waiting patiently now.

The softest little chuckle escapes her as she makes sure to tell him that she is absolutely fine, all safe and sound and couldn’t be luckier than to have her best friend to look out for her, as it had always been since they were just girls. Helene and Colleen had been through thick and thin together and never parted as they were growing up. Whenever one of them was in need, the other would always be right there to take on the role.

“ I love you, too, Joakim.. thank you for calling just to check on me. You really don’t need to, though, it bothers me that you’re only focusing on me while you’re touring. You must be tired as hell trying to feel every single emotion at the same time, “ she expresses her concern, feeling a little silly because she’d been the one facing one of the worst moments of her life just a few weeks ago, but she still didn’t want him to worry.

“ Hel, you know it’s not possible for me to do anything beside that knowing what happened.. what that rövhål did. I’m happy to hear you’re safe there with Colleen and Charlie, though. I’d have been on the first flight home when I found out otherwise, you know that don’t you? The tour means very little compared to you, käresta. I couldn’t bear anything happening to you, “ it sounded almost like his voice cracked when he said that.

A solitary tear rolls down both their cheeks and neither one of them knew the other was experiencing the very same emotion in that moment. The love that filled the wire between the both of them was overwhelming, that they could actually feel, but it was hard to imagine the mutual tears as it didn’t filter through their voices as they spoke to one another. Helene was trying to be braver than she felt and Joey was holding together for her, but there was a combined knowledge of utter devotion.

Hur svårt det är att vinna en Grand Tour, varje seger är unik, även om du bara vinner en, har du en framgångsrik karriär, Tour de France är en oöverträffad tour för ryttare som älskar den. En hyllning till min favoritcykelsport.

Denna månad har jag kanske framför allt sett om filmer. Men hunnit med ett par nyheter också. Både nya Charlies Angels och They Shall Not Grow Old var filmer jag avsåg posta omdömen om – men jag blev inte nöjd med de omdömen jag fick ur mig.

Anaconda (1997).  👍 🔁

Bitvis fånig men ändå underhållande b-films action. den här fick mig sugen att se om Lake Placid-originalet också.

Askeladden - i Soria Moria Slott (2019).  👍

Bra uppföljare på ett bra sagoäventyr. Bra expansion på Bergakungen och ett alltigenom trevligt äventyr. Varför filmen fick en låtsas översättning som “Jakten på Guldslottet” är för mig en gåta.

Het klart en film som går i bräschen för nordisk fantasy-film. Bra story och bra special effekter. Lika bra vid omtitten.

Asterix: Den Magiska Drycken / Astérix: Le secret de la Potion Magique (2018). 🔁

Liksom gudarnas hemvist är det här en bra adaptering av 2D-versionen av Asterix till 3D-cgi. Storyn är helt ny, men blandar friskt detaljer från albumen. Tåls att ses flera gånger.

Charlies Änglar / Charlie’s Angels (2019).  👍

2019 års Charlies Änglar släpper Kalle Anka-vibben från 2000års-rebooten men utan att släppa idén om actionkomedi. Riktigt bra och sevärd, men dialogen är bitvis lite för väloljad och karaktärerna är lite för interna för att nå ända fram. Älskar Jaclyn Smiths cameo.

Faculty, the (1998).  👍 🔁

Klassisk science fiction-komedi.Bra story och bra special effekter och duktig cast gör det här till en favoritfilm.

Före detta fruars klubb / First Wives Club, the (1996).  👍 🔁

Tre komedienner och en film. Kommer aldrig förlåta filmbolaget för att de snålade med pengarna så vi inte fick en tvåa. Om Hawn, Midler och Keaton bestämmer sig för att jobba ihop igen – I’m there liksom.

Jakten Efter Guldskatten / Candleshoe (1977).  👍 🔁

Disneyäventyr med en ung Jodie Foster i huvudrollen. Kulig och underhållande för alla åldrar. Den här typen av filmer görs inte längre.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (1999).  👍 🔁

Respektlös återberättande av bibelns klassiska berättelse om Josef som såldes som slav av sina bröder och gjorde kometkarriär i Egypten. Måste ses minst en gång i livet, och första blir med matluckan på vid gavel.

Jättehajen - Vindsurfarnas Skräck / L'ultimo Squalo (1981).  🔁

Italienskt plagiat på Hajen. Plankar friskt men glömmer det där lilla extra som kanske egentligen gör filmen sevärd. Jag gick tillbaka i mina omdömen och konstaterade att Cruel Jaws var den Hajen-kopia jag fann sanslöst underhållande.

Mrs. Brown’s Boys D'Movie (2014).  👍

Vem är inte förtjust i Mrs. Brown? Här i sin första (Andra om vi räknar Agnes Browne, 1999) långfilm. Alltid kul att se när ett koncept håller för en expanderad mytologi. Det sägs att D’Movie 2 ligger i planeringen, låt oss hoppas!

Har man sett tv-serien blir det här lite av en greastest hits. Kul docm att se serien hur en teater-synvinkel.

Brittiska skolor har redan plockat in den i undervisningen, och den lär ta plats bland de klassiska dokumentärerna. Peter Jackson gör ett storartat jobb med att ge liv och färg åt ett krig som kom i skuggan av sin uppföljare.

Super Fëmmes is a new Swedish girl band representing a powerful and edgy, yet traditional and glamorous pop music that blurs the lines between a variety of influences. The group is a constellation of the 90’s pop icons – Emilia, Miio, DeDe Lopez and Therese “Drömhus” Grankvist – who joined forces in this super group during 2021 with the purpose to create music and perform together. Recently, Super Fëmmes released their first song, a cover of the Rozalla hit Everybody’s free (from 1991). The song is produced by the renowned team Hertzberg & Funke who had recent successes with hits like Save tonight. The song was released April 29 and has in this short period of time reached great traction, both in Sweden and internationally (markets like US, UK and Germany). As a second single, Super Fëmmes will soon be releasing the newly written song Guilty Pleasure on June 17, 2022. Guilty Pleasure is written by Collin Idzikowski, Tor Eimon, Julia Gartha, Jakke Erixson plus the Super Fëmmes member Denise DeDe Lopez. Det har alltid varit min tid på dygnet. ..... 📷Lillebror fyllde år i måndags. Dock är han svårare att få tag på än lodjuren på Skansen. Har dock vant mig vid detta lag. Typ. Är det normalt att alltid svara på meddelanden efter 3 dagar? Jag är dålig på att höra av mig till vänner och familj, men svara gör jag alltid direkt när jag ser ett meddelande iaf. Visst sover jag så kan jag inte svara direkt men annars. Bjuder iaf på några foton på mig och brorsan från när vi var små. Oavsett är min bror den person jag älskar mest i hela världen. Trots att vi är väldigt olika på alla sätt och vis. Vi har typ aldrig haft något gemensamt och levt våra liv nästan helt separata från varandra trots att det bara skiljer 2 år mellan oss. Ändå är våra band galet starka. Speciellt efter mamma och pappas bortgång och efter allt annat skit som hänt oss. Vi finns alltid där för varandra när det gäller.❤️ ..... ⛷Jag älskar sport och speciellt vinteridrott. Tour de ski är en av årets absoluta höjdpunkter. Tyvärr har årets tour varit en grym besvikelse... Många av de svenska åkarna har verkligen haft årets sämsta form. Jag trodde verkligen att damerna skulle krossa allt nu när norrmännen inte ställde upp. Så trist att se hur de blir slagna av åkare de vanligtvis vinner över med mer än 1 minut. Fast dom har framtiden för sig. De flesta är ju riktigt unga. Vinterstudion är iaf räddningen denna coronaisolering. Till helgen är det fullt ös med sport. Och nu är skidskyttarna tillbaka också!😊🙏 ..... 🤷‍♂️USA... vilket skämt det landet har blivit. Hur kan folk bara bli dummare, trots att det aldrig varit lättare att få tag i korrekt fakta och information? Men det är viktigt att inse att den ”fria världen” knappt existerat i människan historia. Demokrati och jämlikhet är verkligen några få förunnat. Annars har världen oftast styrts av makthungriga män. En liten elit som kontrollerar allt nästan. Och det gör man genom att sprida rädsla, dela folket, rasism, konservatism, religioner, pengar, vapen och krig osv. Vår frihet är skör. Glöm inte det!
