Ooooo, I've got a list!!!

1. The Child Star

- 110% Gabi, she's got a role in some walking dead/last of us movie as well and her established fandom defends her like there's no tomorrow on social media when the episode with Sasha comes out.

- Falco gets pretty popular from his role, but ducks out of the industry to start a small business like Rupert Grint from HP. His on screen crush was real for a while and he gets teased in every interview for the rest of his life.

2. The Already Famous

- Erwin Smith is the Chris Evans of this universe. He's gotten tons of roles in blockbusters and the announcement for his casting definitely brought a lot of attention to what was initially a kind of underground show. This is also a pretty different genre from his usual roles, so he has a ton of fun exploring his character and even adds new flavor to his script. He is Eruri's #1 supporter in the entire cast and retweets Levi/Eruri fanart even after he's killed off.

- Levi. Oh Levi. See, he got his career started in the Romance genre. Casting directors loved to make him the first guy/wrong choice type in their Hallmark-esque films, which made him somewhat underrated until he received this role. The directors & producers cast him for his naturally mean look, and everyone is more than a little surprised to see how popular his character got. Erwin and him have a ton, and I mean a TON, of deleted scenes and bloopers where they're goofing off, making outdated movie references in serious scenes, and fake making out when they're in the background of other shots.

3. Who Does Other Genres?

- We've already established that Levi did romance and rom-coms, but let's expand on the rest of the cast.

- Mikasa. Mikasa did your stereotypical action movies before her casting. Think big monster/shark/dino flicks. She started out playing the token daughter-figure, then she became the go to casting choice for a strong female lead in the same types of films. Her only other genre experience before the show was a once-off sapphic film where she and Hitch of all people were the main couple (think Happiest Season) and that role allowed her to get into touch with her current characters softer side. Her recommendation also got Hitch onto the show, who brought a cult following from her Indie films.

- Hitch. She's not got a ton of notable films on her resume, but she's a very popular choice for Indie films and almost always gets invited to speak at film festivals. Her and Annie are married in real life somewhere between seasons 3 and 4 and she shows her wife off big time of the red carpet every chance she gets.

- Boris. Bet you didn't think you'd see him on this list. He and Levi have actually done more than one romance film together as rival characters. His Twitter stans are unhinged and get very upset when his character is revealed to not have much screentime. Once he's past the peak of his fame he becomes a director himself and continues to work closely with Hitch.

4. The Super-Fan

- Eren. There's no way it's not Eren. The original manga/comic was his childhood favorite and he is always wearing merch to interviews and fan meet-ups. He's super involved with the fan base and gets very emotional when the show nears its end. Every other member of the cast is an icon to him and it takes him a long time to get the star-struck look out of his eyes when he interacts with them. His social media accounts are full of him being a nerdy fan and all the photos are selfies and awkward-handshakes with his co-workers. Grisha becomes both an on and off-screen father figure to him and they always hug/high-five after completing a scene together.

- Armin. While he's not a huge fan, he did his homework before the auditions began. He is the Peta Mellark of AOT. No one else could do the character the way he did and he's the most manga-accurate. His wealth often goes to make-a-wish-like foundations and other charity events. He also keeps his private life extremely close to his chest, and doesn't post often on what few social media accounts he has. When he does, its almost always with Eren/Mikasa/Jean/Erwin.

5. The Newbies

- Connie. He's done one big show before, something with race cars or zombies, but he's still brand new to the silver screen. After AOT, he gets steady employment but he's best known for buddy-cop style films next to his most iconic role.

- Sasha. She's pretty, witty, and charming. No one's mad when she's cast in a new role, and everyone jumps at the chance to interview her on red carpet walks. Her on-screen friendships hold up in real life, and she does lifestyle-centric content on the side as she marries and has a family a few years after the end of AOT. The fans go rabid when they realize she married her on-screen love interest, Niccolo, who stepped out of the public eye not long after the show's end. Like his character counterpart, he is an excellent cook and helps film Sasha's content.

5. The Other Headcanons

- Hange was actually an educational children's show figure before getting cast. Imagine if Bill Nye showed up in Game of Thrones, then multiply the fan reaction by 10. People are screaming when Hange is first shown in their début episode, as the entire cast and crew kept the public figure's casting a secret until the episode's airing. They continue to do their usual work on top of their work on the show, and are a big advocate for how the show should handle mental illness and the rumors of lgbtq+ ships becoming canon.

- Bertholdt. The original Gabi for the fans. He's actually a model outside of his acting career and is almost always mentioned when the cast plays fuck/marry/kill in interviews. Eren was ridiculously nervous around both Bertholdt and Reiner when the show first started filming, but now two of his favorite shots to film involved his particularly tall co-star.

- Reiner. Like Hange, his casting was a total whiplash for the audience. As Reiner was formerly an NFL player. His jump into acting is very similar to Chris Pratt/Chris Hemsworth and, yes, he does end up voicing Mario in this universe. Gabi is like an actual sister to him, and he often talks about how well she gets along with his irl younger siblings in interviews. They go on to do another film together, something with vikings or more fantasy where they're once again playing blood-related characters. The thirst traps for this man are insane, but he's always humble when the interviewer or his co-stars bring them up. Eren has an extreme bromance with Reiner, to the point that their co-stars and the film crew don't even question their half-a-joke flirting on set.

- Jean is another Hemsworth type, and he's starred in too many horse-girl movies to count since AOT helped him break into the industry. Like Eren, he was a fan of the source material as a kid and skipped class to do the audition. Something he admits in an interview got him grounded for four months before his parents saw his first paycheck. Originally, he auditioned for the main character but recieved his current role instead.

I can't think of any more rn, but I'll add on to this if I do!

What's everyone's thoughts on what previous roles the AOT cast would've had in the actor AU? Who was a child star? Who's been in a ton of movies and was already quite famous? Who's breaking out of their usual genre? Was someone previously a horror actor? Romance? Action? An absolute nerd for the manga who just HAD to have a part? Who's brand new to the scene?

~ Usopp needs a minute to himself. You haven’t done anything wrong; he just needs to collect himself. He doesn’t mind if you stay in bed or start cleaning up, but after a few miniutes of silence, Usopp will start pawing for your attention. ~ He’s pretty clingy after the fact. Usopp feels great but needs to debrief with you, even for the most vanilla sex. It just doesn’t feel right not to check in on you. Besides, Usopp just likes to talk. Who is better to talk to than his beloved? ~ “Gods, I feel so good. Like all the stress just melted away. Must be your magic fingers.”

~ Zoro’s aftercare is not great. It’s something he’s working on. His instinct is to collapse and take a hard nap, but Zoro also knows he’s not the only participant. ~ His aftercare is mostly fetching you things. Zoro’s not sure what to say besides gruffly asking if you’re okay. It’s easier for him to check you for bruises and get you water before tapping out than having a long conversation about feelings. ~ “You look satisfied. Didn’t pull too hard, did I?”

Gabi took a deep breath as she opened the door. The adoption agency was supposed to drop off her child today and she was waiting for them to knock on her door.

Of course, it wasn’t the agency who had knocked on her door, but it was Julie.

“Gabiiiiiii!!! I was wondering, would you like to play with the rest of us today? You’ve been avoiding us so-“

“Sorry, Jul, but I can’t right now. I’m waiting on someone,” Gabi said, looking past Julie.

“OOOH! Is it Sally?! Are you going on a date?!”

Gabi slowly turned red. “N-no… you see, I was approved for adoption…”

“Oooooh! Well, I’ll leave you alone then! FRANK, FRANK, FRANK, GABI’S GETTING A KIDDDDDDDD!!!!!” Julie screamed as she ran off.

A few hours later, the agency finally came.

“Hello, Mr. Winters-“

“Ms. Winters, please…” Gabi said quietly.

“Ms. Winters. This is Anthony White. Please treat him like you would treat someone you would love. He hasn’t been in many good homes. We will check in next month. Goodbye.”

Anthony stood in the doorway, wearing a striped shirt and ripped shorts. He had blue hair, bright skin, and he was missing one of his teeth. He looked nervous. “Are you my new mom?”

“Yes, I am. Let’s get you some new clothes, ‘kay?” Gabi said, taking his hand and leading him inside.

She quickly fashioned a new shirt and some periwinkle overalls with green accents. She also made him some cloud-print socks.

Anthony stared at his new clothes with a shocked expression. “These are mine?”

“Of cour-“ Gabi heard her doorbell ring. “F-“ she remembered there was a child present. “-rench fries!”

She opened the door to find the entire neighborhood at her doorstep. She stood there agape.

Howdy had some toys from his bodega in his arms. “Here, Gabs! Free of charge!”

“Here’s some cookies for the little fella!!!” Poppy said, holding a tray full of chocolate chip cookies.

Frank, looking a bit nicer than usual, handed her some parenting books. “You’ll need these… or that kid will never be independent.”

Julie threw her some arts and crafts supplies. “Now, I hope you’ll play a lottttt of games together!!!” she said happily.

“Here, have the little tyke read over these lines! I do hope he has his single mother’s talent in acting!” Sally exclaimed, handing over a script. Gabi blushed when she emphasized the words “single mother.”

Eddie handed her a package. “It’s a Welcome Package! Hope the boy likes it!!”

Wally put down some paints and paintbrushes. “He needs these, I think. They’re the most!”

Barnaby handed over some balls. “I’m going to teach the little buddy to juggle as soon as I get the chance!!”

“And these are scented candles!” Izabel said. “Everyone else took the good gifts…”

Gabi stared at everyone, tearing up. She couldn’t believe her neighbors would do something like this for her. She stood there, tears running down her cheeks, as she hugged everyone.

“Mom? Who are these people?” Anthony said, coming down the stairs.

“Well, Anthony… these… are your new friends…”

summary: It’s finally time for Gabi’s quinceañera, something Miguel had finally allowed her to have.

MASTERLIST

Pastel pink dress with flowers in her hair, Gabi was having the best night of her young life.

Picture after picture, her pearly white smile was as bright as daylight. Her friends surrounded her, her uncles and aunts from both parents celebrated her quinceañera. It was the night she had been looking forward to, the night she had been begging you and her father for.

“Gabi,” He shook his head, his grip on the steering wheel was tight. “I told you we’ll think about it.”

“Papa, every girl I know gets a quince-“

“Gabi, lo digo en serio-“ Your hand settled on Miguel’s thigh gently, he took in a breath, growing frustrated with traffic and with himself. He spared a glance to you, your eyes on the road, but that still didn’t stop you from looking to him. “Mi vida, help me here.”

Your fingertips tapped his thigh, you turned to look over your shoulder at your darling daughter, still wiping off mud from that day’s practice. You glanced to Miguel as his hand slid down to settle on top of yours, fingers curled around your palm. Your husband has always trusted your judgement.

You squeezed his thigh before you responded, “Baby, Papa’s already doing so much for us. You need to give him time to get it worked out, it’s not a yes or no until he says so.”

The fourteen year old’s expression dropped, her body slumped into her seat. You frowned. “Why does he get to pick all of the sudden? You always set the rules, Mama-“

“Cuida tu tono con tu madre, Gabi.” His tone was calm, you could feel the bite of his words and watch how Gabi looked out the window in response. You deflated a little, you didn’t want to tell your perfect daughter that what little money you and Miguel had was running out. “Siempre escuchamos a mamá.” You squeezed Miguel’s thigh again, your eyes moved to gaze at the side profile you had memorized years ago.

“Mama, por favor,” You looked back to Gabi, your heart strings were tugged hard when you looked at her saddened expression.

A sigh escaped you before you turned forwards, the traffic now flowing much better. “Papa and I will talk about it.”

You watched your baby and her friends, all of them chatting away and laughing like hyenas. She was gorgeous, she looked truly happy; she spared a glance towards you, her smile so contagious that it made yours even wider. She was the spitting image of her father, just without the fangs. She waved a little, you waved back.

“We don’t have the money for it.” You whispered, arms tucked in between you and Miguel’s chest, fingertips gently tapping on his warm skin just below his collarbone. Your eyes could only watch your red fingernails as they drummed an unfamiliar melody into your husband’s skin.

He was watching you, it wasn’t hard for you to tell. His hand settled on your hip, the arm around your back gently stroked your shoulder blades with light fingertips.

“I’ll pick up more hours at Alchemax.”

“The mortgage is too much, Mig. I can get my job back-“

“No. Your back is still injured from the accident.” The car accident you had three months ago, where you were slammed into and your car thrown off the bridge by the momentum, only to be saved by Spider-Man. It was terrifying, he took you right down to the hospital without a word before he left you on a gurney; your husband appeared only moments later as the medical team took you inside, his breathing panicked as he took your hand, he was terrified. That look was one you could never get out of your head, even as you stared at his rising chest. “It will only be for a couple of months. It’s important for Gabi.”

“It’s important for Gabi.” You echoed, your nail caught on the small silver chain around his neck, the small locket glimmered in the low light.

Miguel is a generous man, and a man who truly adored his daughter.

Your daughter pranced over to your table, her smile much larger than you had even seen her make. You held out your hands, she instantly took them. “Mi niña, is it okay? Are you having fun?”

“It’s perfect, Mama.” Her arms were around your neck in an instant, a kiss from her on your head made your smile rival hers. She moved away, her pretty curls bouncing as her friends welcomed her back with huge smiles and infectious laughter.

You looked over to Miguel’s empty seat, heart sinking into your stomach. Being Spider-Man has made him lose so much important time with his family, but you understood why he put on the suit. You understood why when he told you that rainy night, you finally understood that you weren’t just a lucky survivor of small villain incident, he was always watching over you - even when he couldn’t be here for Gabi’s quinceañera.

You took a drink of your wine, hoping to put a damper on your growing sadness. You watched her Uncle Gabriel help take the beautiful white chair out to the middle of the dance floor, soft rose colored balloons tied to it and beautiful pink flowers wrapped around the back. Gabi was so excited, her gaze went back to you as she mouthed, “Love you.”

You blew her a kiss as the dance floor cleared, allowing her to sit down in the chair with her beautiful dress - her beautiful face bright with a smile. Your grip on your wine glass loosened as her Uncle Gabriel started the Changing of the Shoes ceremony - your own eyes felt pricks of pain as you fought back tears. You were only twenty feet away, your phone now in your hand was you took the video of the ceremony. She was laughing, happy - her flats being removed and replaced with the rose gold heels she had begged Miguel to buy months prior, but he had refused. And here they were, now placed on your daughter’s feet as her transition into becoming a young woman.

Tears of joy feel from your eyes as she stood, her smile still so large and the chair taken away. The song changed, your smile faltered.

“Gabi,” Miguel called. Your hand held his, his thumb gently raked over your index finger. He had spent many long nights, saving what money he could and taking odd jobs, all in between his duty as Spider-Man. His heart was warm, he had asked many favors with promises of repayment to set up his wonderful daughter’s quinceañera - more money than he wanted to pay, if at all, but he loved his child eternally. This was her one big wish for years, he had always said no since money was an issue. Even as a highly paid geneticist, his money was being drained by hospital bills, his mortgage, and his ailment of constantly needing venom to stay alive. But, giving her this meant she was growing up, and he was finally ready to help her out of her flats and into those high heels he knew were her favorite, then waltz around a big dance floor with his little girl who would be happier than ever.

She bounded down the staircase, hair a mess from practice as she tore off her headband, she smiled, “¿Qué pasa?” She was quick to sit on the floor in front of the couch, where you and Miguel were comfortably sitting. Your smile has always been gorgeous to Miguel, but in that moment, your smile infected him like a virus. You were so excited to see Gabi grow up, so excited to give her what she wanted.

Gabi was sobbing by the time Miguel had told her about the party, she hugged him so tight before kissing his cheek, then diving into you. You wrapped your arms around her with that beautiful smile on your face, moving your daughter back and forth with excitement.

That moment was a direct contrast to what he had confessed to you in private later that night, after he had finally found the courage to tell you his deepest secret. The look of horror on your face made Miguel’s stomach drop, the tears made him nauseous.

“You’re Spider-Man?”

He nodded for the second time, hand still holding yours. You didn’t remove it, your free hand came to cover your mouth.

“I wanted you to know. The ‘odd jobs’ I’ve been doing have been me being Spider-Man, people give me money to keep it up.” He whispered, terror in his heart as you just… stared.

“What will happen if I lose you?”

Miguel could only smile, his free hand came up to your cheek, resting upon it as he whispered, “Nunca me perderás, querida.”

Pastel pink dress with flowers in her hair, Gabi stood in the middle of the dance floor, ready for her last dance of the night before her 15 Candle Ceremony. It was her father’s idea to have the dance near the end of the ceremony, he was never one to want too much attention. The girl stood in the middle of the floor, eyes watching her father’s smile come closer and closer to her.

The crystal-like tears hit her beautiful dress, her manicured hands grasped onto the dark mahogany of the frame that displayed the photo of her smiling deceased father, Miguel O’Hara.
