you know tbh... i never really "got" clara sdflkjf even after reading people's explanation's of her arcs... i don't know. i haven't rewatched her episodes in years (since they aired, i think) but even then whenever i read those metas or see scenes... im like "really cool but the vibes are Off" dslkfjd

and i think part of the reason is... actually in the styling and casting of jenna...?? because whenever i see clara, the things that come to mind are not the descriptors that fans use. ie: control freak, maniac, insane, on the Edge, feral. im like... yo, none of that comes across on a purely visual/aesthetic level dlkfjdslkfj

when i see clara and her outfits is like... ok so this is a character who is a) pretty but not vain, b) put together, c) fashionista but also practical, d) maybe an academic?? that's the most on point one, e) kinda very het vibes tbh, f) a normie overall.

While Slade has been working through this minor epiphany, Jason has worked Slade’s shirt up past his nipples and is nibbling on his pecs and vaguely rutting against his thigh. It feels like a more than decent sized cock, at least as far as he can tell through two layers of clothes.

Red Hood is utterly mesmerizing to watch in a fight — and he’s all Red Hood, in this fight, plowing through the goons like a siege weapon taking down a wall, all speed and grace and power. Slade maybe gets a slightly unnecessary cut because he’s watching Hood more than his own opponent, hitting the gap in the armor on the outside of his thigh. It hurts like a bitch, but he can’t even regret it; Red Hood punching out the teeth of a Bane-sized thug is a sight he won’t forget any time soon.

my own weird orientation is that i exhibit all signs of being functionally asexual except for the whole relationship to sex thing. like yes i am not sure what attraction is (unless it's being generated towards me by another person) and yes the notion of going out and seeking sex fills me with blind horror. and yes why anyone would use a dating app is beyond reason to me. but. i'll also respond positively when a dude makes overtures to me but i also reckon it's out of a sense of gender performance* and desire to experience physical pleasure moreso than yes this person is hot per say. my relationship to women is more complicated and occasionally i prod at it and get such confused signals i've been leaving it alone for like a decade at this point

i think the drop dead funniest thing about this whole thing is that when i was being evaluated for bipolar ii, my poor psychiatrist, who was putting up w fully too much nervous rambling, was like 'do you seek out risky sexual encounters when you're in an elevated mood?' and i nearly dropped my laptop during the zoom call b/c of the horror that image evoked in me and had to nearly scream out 'Asexual!' because the notion i would EVER was so horrific. and she looked at the evaluation form and was like 'well, that changes some of my diagnostic criteria'. bless. i love her

Recently I have watched all of these things w DT- Good Omens, Doctor Who, Broadchurch, Deadwater Fell, Des, Gracepoint, Secret Smile, Bad Samaritan, Staged, Fright Night, Casanova and I feel like there might be one or two other things I'm missing? I also watched Jessica Jones when it first came out and loved it. I'm thinking about rewatching it bc there's a Kilgrave req sitting in my inbox and I wanna write it but need to reacquaint myself w him haha

I have a couple more things on my list to consume at some point soon, so, yknow- the obsession continues. How about yourself?
