💗 Has my muse ever been in love?

Jingliu did not grow up putting focus into things such as feelings or 'love', so to her, love is undefined. As far as love, she has not knowingly been in love. She's had platonic feelings towards few, where if asked out she may say yes, but other than that is debatable.

Also, depending possible ships, the answer can vary slightly. So above is a blanket answer.

🍬 Is my muse a sub, dom, or switch?

In general, she would most likely be a switch, but if her partner could convince her to, she may be willing to give being a sub a try. Though that alone would take an intense amount of work, and 9/10 would probably fail due to her headstrong behavior.

🎀 Who would my muse sleep with if nobody ever had to know?

The answer to this varies. If she had to pick strictly from the Quintet, and it 100% was kept a secret, Dan Feng or Jing Yuan could potentially be options. Though moreso in a way of simply letting off steam or even just to see how things go. Again, it most likely wouldn't be out of anything related to feelings or love, so consider it a one night stand sort of situation I suppose.

Outside of the Quintet.. hm.. I can't place anyone specific, so this would either be an accident, or kept a secret for a specific reason.

Jingliu, in the case of someone actually holding interest in her, would secretly prefer to be asked. While she holds herself in high regards and is confident in herself, she would also want to know the partner in question is brave enough to be able to confront her overall. She is not an easy type to deal with, so them coming up and being bold enough to ask her out would ensure they at least get a chance. If they can't bring themself to ask her, then what else would they cower from?

Though she also claims that she would have no interest in dating (Although if the right person asks, she would give a chance.)

Feixiao’s love is touchy and loud. Her hands are ALWAYS on you, doesn’t matter where, her hands caress or hold you, they’re ALWAYS on your body.

She isn’t afraid to make a public statement that your hers, just to let everyone know your off limits. Whenever someone approaches you, she’s always there, not hiding her possessive glare and loudly proclaiming you as her LOVER.

She’s clingy, possessive, and utterly shameless of her obsession love for you.

Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

She wouldn’t dream of being messy with you… unless it’s in bed— She would HATE the thought of a bruise appearing on your body, no no no, she wouldn’t dream of that. Instead she’s VERY… VERY… VERY protective of you.

Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?

Oh she would never. Mocking you never even crossed her mind. Unless you count her DAILY and repeatedly—practically reciting her love and obsession of you like a prayer as mocking. Besides that, she’s definitely the ‘nicest’ of yandere’s.

Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

Controlling you to fit her desires. She’d control your clothing, what you eat, when you sleep, how you fight, WHAT you fight with. She knows what’s best for you, so just SHUT UP and let her make you even MORE perfect.

Very vulnerable, she doesn’t want to hide a thing from you. She’s so vulnerable with you it makes you forget that she practically kidnapped you and was (basically) controlling your life.

She’s both amused and saddened. Amused that you think you could EVER escape her, but saddened that you still WANT to escape, even after she gave you the fucking world. She’ll be sure to.. teach you a lesson you won’t forget.

Jingliu:

Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?

Her love is bipolar. Normal jingliu is gentle and loving, however, Mara-struck jingliu’s love is sadistic and intense.

Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

Normally, she isn’t at all messy with you. Mara-Jingliu couldn’t care less how messy things get. As long as you be a good little lover boy and stay beside her, she’ll keep things clean.

Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?

Yes. She would most certainly mock you. She’d mock you by reminding you how bland your life was before she came into it, she’ll mock you for begging her to release you, she’ll mock you for for wanting to go back to your ‘family’. What a dumb silly little boy, you’re already with HER. You don’t need anyone or anything else.

Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

Very similar to feixiao. Yes, she’ll absolutely do things against your will. Unlike feixiao, she wouldn’t be sneaky about it, she’ll just do it if you’re watching or clinging onto her to stop. After all; what will do you have compared to her obsession love?

Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

Not immediately. It’s inevitable that she’ll become VERY vulnerable with you. She’s also extremely vulnerable with you once she’s out of her Mara-Struck phase, throwing away all and any defenses she has and clinging onto you, spouting out apologies and tears then some more.

Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?

She’s enraged. You would DARE commit such crimes against her? You’re THAT fucking desperate to have her as an enemy? In this enraged state, she goes to slice and cut you piece by piece. Yelling in rage as how ungrateful you are, all while she tries and tries, yet all you do is take and take. Like a spoiled little brat. Once she knocks you out, she drags you off somewhere private. You need a harsh punishment for committing such acts against her.

Luocha:

Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?

Luocha is the most normal and tamed yandere. His love is similar to another’s love to their lover but more intense and calculated.

Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

Luocha isn’t messy, he makes sure everything he does with you is picture perfect and worthy of your sight and mind.

Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?

Nope. Zero. Nada. And No. there isn’t a hint of cruelty with him when it comes to you. He keeps his obsession of you very well hidden and controlled.

Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

Nope.

Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

He only keeps a quarter of his heart open with you. He still has some secrets he wants to keep away from you, only to keep you safe of course.

Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?

He’s disappointed and confused. Why are you fighting back? Was it a lack of affection on his side or was someone or something manipulating you? He’ll be sure to explore both of these theories once he safely knocks you out and cares for you.

Dr. Ratio

Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?

His love is calculated and measured, his obsession with you always hidden, only showing the necessary amounts of love to you and to other to make it clear that you were his.

Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

He’s not messy at all. The exact same as luocha.

Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?

Not intentionally. He’ll mock you as a force of habit but then he’ll just play it off as a joke, sacrificing his pride for a minute of embarrassment and a lifetime of your obedience and love.

Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

No. He knows that if he does that, it’ll spark a small unease within you that’ll eventually lead you to becoming rebellious. He won’t take such unnecessary risks.

Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

He’s embarrassingly vulnerable with you (his words) it’s illogical to hide things from his lover after all. Especially since he has nothing to hide from you.

Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?

Annoyed and disturbed. He’s annoyed that all his calculated actions fell apart and disturbed that your fighting back against him. Why’re you even doing such a stupid act? The only logical explanation was that someone was trying to take you from him. He’ll be sure to handle them once he deals with you.

He was confused when you took the first little bites of him, but he didn't stop you or anything, he just waited patiently for you to finish whatever you were doing.

when you explained to him what you were doing, he just laughed a little now that he knows that this is just your way of showing love, every time you would bite him he would have a smile on his face, and also he will return the love in the same way. like you, giving small, affectionate bites and a few small kisses to you.

oh he knows very well what you are doing, when you appear with that innocent face of someone who is going to do something bad, he knows very well....

He just sighs as he does his work and you bite him, of course he gives you full access to any area you want to bite on his body, secretly he loves all the attention he's getting from you and when you're done he pulls you in to bite you back.

but obviously, his bites are anything but small, he will bite you hard and provocatively and if you complain he won't stop and tell you that it's just to show how strong and big his love for you is. honestly it's like a lion biting a little kitten.

- Caelus

Caelus for some reason loves it when he has a little biting session with you, sometimes he also bites you randomly sometimes, but when it's you who bites him he picks you up and drags you to his room and takes off his shirt for you (without you asking) while holding you by the waist waiting for you to give him all the attention you want.

For some reason he thinks this calmly, he closes his eyes while sighing happily, sometimes he asks you to bite specific places and some kisses too, we can say that he leaves his room more than happy.

Jingliu was confused about you way of showing affection, but after she gets used to it she thinks you are like a little kitten, a cute little kitten, her kitten. Sometimes she laughs lightly about it, but of course she doesn't always let you give her many love bites, maybe one or three are allowed, and whenever you're done she responds back with a kiss on the forehead and a pat on the head. (I guess maybe she likes your show of affection, it's something a little aggressive like biting, even if they're light and don't leave any marks, she thinks it's adorable)

I have a theory regarding the Aeons...

Possible spoilers below\\

Do you think an all out war between Aeons and other characters might break out? Like maybe it will happen near at the end of the story.

In xianzhou update, when Jingyuan was interrogating Loucha, he mentioned that Xianzhou, himself and Jingliu are enemies of Yaoshi, the Aeon of Abundance.

And Jingliu doesn't deny it. She admits it even. And then, she talks of killing THEM. This conversation shows a possible, potential confrontation with an Aeon later in the story.

Another thing is when, we talked to Kafka after the interrogation. She reveals that, the Stellaron hunters are deliberately helping TB to form an alliance with Xianzhou. So that, they would help TB when the time comes.

And RIGHT after that, she talks of TB facing Nanook in the future Elio chose. Another confrontation with a different Aeon. Here, this is the key. The stellaron hunters probably wanted Xianzhou to help TB kill Nanook.

"It will be a brutal struggle of Aeonic proportions." If that's not hinting at war, I don't know what it is.

Kafka says that the Elio/Stellaron Hunters' main goal is to kill Nanook, where only a slim portion of possible futures succeed under specific conditions. Nanook is the Aeon of Destruction, whose purpose is to destroy the universe, which Elio can see happen if he fails. And from what we can see from this conversation, I concluded that the stellaron hunters are trying to make TB into a God, or at least a Godlike being whose powers' can rival the Aeons.

As for now, TB follows many paths, Destruction, Preservation, Harmony, and in this new 3.0 update, they will get Rememberance. I wonder if they are pulling Genshin Traveler where they restore their original power with each element? In this case, TB is collecting paths like pokemons, to gain more power little by little perhaps? I know characters can follow different paths, just like March with Preservation and Hunt paths, Danheng with the Hunt and Destruction, and Tingyun with Harmony, and Nihility. But they don't have as much as TB.

Not to mention, in the latest update, Tingyun, or rather Fugue talks about making THEM pay. This also kinda feeds my theory tbh.

"Making THEM pay" I think this also hints at war. I also have another evidence to prove that. Because, before this, they were just talking about wars just now. Countless wars happened because of Aeons before, right?

Alright, thank you for reading. I just wanted to discuss a pattern I saw with each update. I don't know if this theory or this topic is a common subject in hsr fandom, but I don't see anyone discussing anything about it at least. If this is a well-known fact at this point, this is embarrassing lol. There might be information that I might've missed or several facts that I might not know too. Correct me if you can. Jing Liu!reader find themselves somewhere in the mountains in front of liyue harbor, walking towards the city many people give them weird stares and some milellith soldiers approach them asking them if they need any help walking since they are blind. But they turn them down but say thanks for their kindness. Jing Liu!reader continue walking until they come across iron tongue tian talking. Wouldn't be bad if they just sit down and listen.

They take a seat somewhere far away from the stand but close enough to listen, and a waitress puts a cup of tea in front of them. It has rich, smooth and earthy tastes with complex. It remains them back in the days of where the high cloud quintet would gather together for sparring sessions and to drink together talking about their day and etc.

Suddenly a gentleman, with long brown hair in a ponytail and amber eyes sat next to them when they were reminiscing about their time with their old friends. The gentleman looked at them and ask

Zhongli : excuse me, I hope you don't mind me sitting with you the seats are all taken

Jing Liu!reader : no, I don't mind

Zhongli : you know, I have never gotten the chance to introduce myself... Zhongli

Jing Liu! Reader : Jing Liu!reader

Both of them sit in silence while listening to iron tongue talking. Retelling about their archon known as Morax or rex lapis...

Reader continue to enjoy liyue, flying a kite, trying the food and enjoying the scenery by far for the first time in a hundred years after they fall towards the darkness this was peaceful, bringing back their memory on their time on the luofu. But suddenly a monster with multiple heads burst out from the ocean ruining the moment of tranquility And soon the jade chamber passed over their head getting ready to defend liyue with all their might. Citizens started to run towards the exit Jing Liu!reader walked towards the exit and then looked behind, blindfold remove and continued on their journey towards the exit.

When all hope is lost the guizhong ballista was destroyed and it seems there was no hope suddenly a flash of cryo came in view towering the entire of liyue in height cutting the land below the ocean as well cutting the sea and freezing osial in their place. This managed to weaken osial and ningguan letting the jade chamber on the monster seal him away for now. In the mountains of liyue. Jingliu!reader was standing on top and was holding a blade emitting light and then walked away before they got pulled to this mess of this world.

Jingliu!reader : think of this as my way of saying thank you to your nation for being welcoming

And walk away from the scene before the tianquan finds out about it, but little did they know a group of fatui soldiers saw and reported this to the harbingers.

A few weeks later, the aftermath of the attacks hasn't been erased and the ocean still has some frozen remains from as well the attack manages to cut the earth, the tianquan has been investigating this conflict but by far no evidence has been found about who caused it. Yelan was sent to investigate about it.

-also capable of staying awake for 3-5 days straight. Prefers not to, tho.

-really eager to experience new things (easily capable of discerning what he does or not like)

-sometimes stuck in a dream in which he'll argue with dan feng. Won't easily wake from that dream.

Blade

-found dan heng in that sort of dream once. Tried to wake him without success. Kept waiting by his side until dh woke up.

-got murdered on the spot.

-surprisingly good at reading the room.

-life skills from yingxing stuck around. At this point, they're more like instincts or urges than actual knowledge he can recall.

-probably still married. Considering the paperwork the xianzhou require.

-occasionally lovesick for some reason.

hello! First of all, thank you for creating the Yanqing's Happy Family AU! I'm kind of obsessed with it, ngl, it's like, they're soooo cute!!!

Anyway, do you have any HC of when Yanqing doing his first mission as a Cloud Knight? In my head I always thought of the dads as the kind of parent that would secretly follow (*cough*stalk*cough*) their kid on their very first errand to the market, and the thought of that happening here is hilarious lmao🥰🥰

Then again, I just love all HC of the dads being protective of Yanqing in general, like maybe from an assassination attempt? It'll make a good angst :D

They are very protective of Yanqing and I do have an assassination attempt on that is in the works. Still at the brainstorming phase thought so it'll be a while before it is written.

I wasn't sure which kind of mission you wanted so I provided 2 different ones. I love them being protective but anxious dads. Feel free to send more asks!!!

Supervised Mission

Up until he was 13, Yanqing's missions were always supervised by Jing Yuan or Jingliu. While the Xianzhou Alliance at heart was always at war, they did not have it in them to send Yanqing out on his own regardless of his skill. For those who stay behind, they are a bundle of nerves that grow more frantic each day. The battlefield is unpredictable and their little bird is so young and little. They could not bear it if his wings were clipped too early.

Even during supervised missions, there were always constant calls and follow-ups. Jing Yuan was always strict about not missing personal relationships with work, especially since it could lead to talks of Yanqing only achieving his position through nepotism. However, he would give constant updates and was only on the lookout for Yanqing's well-being. While he would sit back so his son could learn, any opponent that targeted his son would be quickly killed by Lightning Lord.

Jingliu, on the other hand, does not coddle Yanqing on missions. Coddling would only harm him and it is best he learn about the battlefield in a controlled environment. it was also why she refused to let the others join any mission Yanqing was on with the exception of Jing Yuan. Jingliu blocks the others before a mission due to their constant questions. One would think Dan Feng is the worst, but it's actually Yingxing. Dan Feng texts constantly at the beginning but will stop after a couple of hours. Yingxing sends a text every hour on the dot. "You guys are annoying. He's fine, if he wasn't I would text you."- JIngliu

First Solo Mission

A full-fledged assault by the Denizens of Abundance on a planetary system was met with the combined might of all six ships. Due to the scale of the battle and the need for all available personnel to be on the frontline, Yanqing's first solo mission on the battlefield was as reinforcements against the Windguard mecha beasts. At the same time, other members of his family were sent to different battles as well, leaving them unable to reach him.

Dan Feng, who was stationed on a water-filled planet due to his powers, was absolutely ferocious in battle. He cut through enemies without mercy. To him, the more they died, the less they were threats to his child. He also was extremely angry at being so far away and had no qualms about using his power to the fullest extent to end the battle quickly. The sooner he returned, the sooner he could see his child and tend to injuries. He could not find it in him to look at updates for Yanqing's battalion but he assumed if no messenger came, then his son was okay. "I need all of you to quickly die so I can go home and see my family."- Dan Feng after drowning a third of the enemy forces

Yingxing, despite being the most composed when it came to Yanqing, was filled with worry. He double, tripled checked his son's weapons before he left. He provided as much information as he could on the working on mechabeasts in the hopes the situation would be resolved before Yanqing arrived on the battlefield. Due to the days of waiting and overseeing the production of weapons, he was incredibly short with everyone though many understood why. Yingxing refused to check on anyone's status, partially because he was sure they were fine but also because any distressing news could impact his work and delay supplies and weapons to the frontlines. "You can tell that idiot of a supplies officer if he keeps delaying supplies to the front lines I will kill him!" - Yingxing to one of his students

Baiheng had joined other foxian pilots in a vicious battle against the wingweavers. She was the closest to Yanqing in terms of location and would constantly man the communication lines for updates on his situation. It went to the point where she would fall asleep with her radio tuned into the communication line and each morning she would check the casualty list. "Casualty list. Search. Yanqing. Unit name. Comet Orbit Fleet. Nothing! oh, thank Lan!"- Baiheng

Jingliu is easily the calmest in the situation. Older and more experienced than anyone else, she is very aware of the path of the Hunt and what it demands. Also, as Yanqing's teacher, she knows he will be fine. If he is old enough to copy her attacks, he will have no problem against the enemy. However, after every battle, she also checks the casualty list. "Baiheng, fine. Dan Feng, fine. Yingxing, fine. Jing Yuan, fine. Yanqing, fine. Good, they're all fine."- Jingliu

Jing Yuan was incredibly anxious. He did not fight as his time was spent strategizing not only for his fleet but the entire alliance. He did not have time to watch over matters concerning Yanqing much to his chagrin but he had ordered Qingzu to notify him of any updates no matter how small. Jing Yuan, who was the first to greet him once they were away from the other Cloud Knights, pulled him into a hug and checked over the wounds he got. Yingxing was next, having rushed over from the Artisanship Commission. He also pulled his child into a hug before demanding to see all his weapons, hoping to assess the damages and repair them before he was sent out again. Dan Feng had come rushing from treating a nasty cut on Baiheng's leg and demanded to see Yanqing's wounds. He later spent the next hour redressing everything and criticizing the handiwork of an amateur medic, stating that Yanqing could have suffered from sepsis due to the wounds not being cleaned properly.

Baiheng and Jingliu had come over later after ensuring that each other was okay. Baiheng had ordered food and was hell-bent on feeding Yanqing, saying that he had gotten so skinny in the week he was away. Jingliu, having read the report, was more than proud of her student especially his actions him severing the Wingguard's head.

After that mission, it would be another 6 months before Yanqing was sent out again. Dan Feng refuses to let Yanqing out of his sight and Yingxing and Jing Yuan agree, saying he is too young to be doing back-to-back missions like that. It totally has nothing to do with the fact that the week he was away was the most stressful week of their lives and how Yingxing was losing so much hair from the stress.

Ok. I'm going to give you guys a list of all the kinds of noses I think a few hrs characters would and should have.

Starting off with Sampo Koski. I think he'd look absolutely gorgeous with a hooked nose. I don't know. Maybe it's just because I love hooked noses a lot but I think it'd fit his face perfectly.

Next I think Black Swan would look really pretty with a big nose. I think sort of like a curved shape with like a bump at the bridge would fit her face really nicely.

Third I think Argenti would look wonderful with a sort of flat but big nose. I don't know. That's just the vibe I'm getting from him.

Fourth, Gallagher should have a crooked nose. One that points downward at the tip. I don't know. It would fit his face really well and it would give him a nice side profile.

Fifth, one that I think can all agree on, Dr Ratio should have a hooked nose that's slightly down turned at the tip. No further explanation will be given. You already understand.

Sixth, i think jingliu should have a slight nose bump and also a slightly crooked nose.

Seventh, Natasha should definitely also have a nose bump, and hers should be upturned.

Eighth, Boothill would look great with an incorrectly healed broken nose, since I think he's definitely broken his nose plenty of times. He would also have a hooked nose also, one that's slightly upturned.

Ok. That's everyone I can think of off the top of my head. I just think nose variety would be nice with a few characters. But maybe that's just because I'm a big nose fan. Not like big as in physically big. Big like in. Whatever you know what I mean. I'm probably going to draw a few examples to show you what I mean and so you can also understand my vision.

i like to think in the jingliu-luocha friendship, jingliu is the real silly menace on a leash. but on the other end of said leash there is no one holding it.

she gives off an air of cold elegance and mystery, but luocha knows this woman. her fury, strength, and conviction to her goals are genuine, but so is her playfulness. mara can strike at any time, so why not have some fun?

someone will die. of fun! but both phrases came out of the same person's mouth.

though perhaps her idea of fun is a bit...niche. a touch on the violent side. it would put luocha a tad on "edge", IF he was a normal person by any stretch.

if only yanqing didn't have the exact same idea of fun. at least they both agree that her sense of humor is on the derivative side (i mean i love it) (edit: “convoluted” instead of "derivative" idk what my original intent was) and wholly unexpected initially.

they theorized her inappropriate timing and bizarre dark humor may have stemmed from her current circumstances, but jing yuan is quick to correct them that she's always been like this - it's just been a bit amplified.

High cloud quintet relationship headcanons

Baiheng

Dan feng: a good friend, a bit closed off but they got along despite her constant teasing him.

Jingliu: baiheng quiet enjoyed her company, thay were drinking budys and would often go drinking with out the others.

Jing yuan: part of her still thought of him as a kid, (i don't have a lot to say about there relationship from her perspektiv) they got along well enough.

Yingxing: she was quiet fond yingxing ever sense there first meeting, she was incredibly supportive of his work and dreams.

Dan feng

Baiheng: dan fang got along quiet well baiheng despite her constant teasing, when she died he was devastated and blamed himself for her death.

Jingliu: he respected jingliu and looked up to her as a leader, the two would often spar and jingliu would always win even with the help of yingxing.

Jing yuan: the two would often play strategi games agenst one another, with jing yuan often being the winer, they were quiet close.

Yingxing: yingxing was dan fang's closest friend and confedont, dan fang world often went his frustrations to him.

Jingliu

Baiheng: baiheng was her closest friend, they would often drink and laugh together, baiheng's death effected her greatly and jingliu's memories of her would eventually propel her into mara.

Dan feng: jingliu held great respect for him, despite constantly wining in there sparring matches she belived the if he was to use his cloud hymn magic he could probably have won half of them.

Jing yuan: jingliu loved jing yuan like a son but would never be caught dead emitting to it (she acctidenttly told baiheng about it when drunk, but nether of them remember it) the day he bacame general of the luofu was the proudest day of her life.

Yingxing: jingliu also saw him as son (jing yuan was the favorit tho) she found his head strong nature and arrogant bravado indering, she also admierd his craftsmanship and the sword he made for her was one of her most prized possession.

Jing yuan

Baiheng: jing yuan looked up baiheng when he was younger and her carefree spirit definitely rubed of on him. Out of all the members of the high cloud quintet, he was the least effected by her death but it was still devastating for him.

Dan feng: dan fang was a good friend to him, the two would often play chess and other games, jing yuan held great respect for him as well.

Jingliu: he held an immeasurable amount of respect for his master, she practically raised him and taught him everything he knows about combat, when she became mara struck in the aftermath of the sedition of imbibitor lunae it effected him more then baiheng's death had done priviously.

Yingxing: despite there constant bickering the two were actually quiet close, they were of a simulera age to one another and would grow to become like brothers, to this day the starfall reverie is one jing yuan's most treasured possessions.

Yingxing

Baiheng: baiheng was the one who inspirerad yingxing to be self confident in his work, he eventually grow to have a crush on her but he never confessed his feelings out of fear of ruening thier friendship (he made the flagon with the intentions of confessing, but never did) yingxing was the most effected by baiheng's death out of all of them.

Dan feng: dan fang was yingxing's clonest friend and the only person he would voice his selfdoubt to (including his feelings for baiheng) when dan feng came to him with his plan resurrect baiheng it didn't take much convinsing to get yingxing to help him.

Jingliu: was like a stern mother figure to him, he respected her greatly and the sword he made her was his magnom opis, he would regularly spar with her (and dan fang) but was never really a warrior (until he bacame blade of course)

Jing yuan: when they first meet yingxing thought he was loud and obnoxious they would constantly be butting heads with one another, but over time they would become close and their constant bickering would turne into playful banter.

firefly loses herself as sam. she becomes this battle hungry, bloodthirsty animal. i want to reflect some of that into her as firefly, too. aside from her finding enjoyment in violence, she sees the beauty in gore and death. it does not bother her.

Description: Hello I was reading your hcq new generation and I just started imagining what would happen if the kids were present during Jingliu's companion mission, and she ends up talking about the experiment that ended with Dan Feng's child being conceived.

Notes: Recovered in conjunction with an anonymous researcher, we thank them for their contributions. Unfortunately Jingliu isn't the most in the know about the experiment, but thankfully Jing Yuan doesn't talk much about it.

First let’s establish a timeline

This would take place after the kids have met and just before they join the Astral Express

They’re trying to visit Jing Yuan at the Seat of Divine Foresight when Jingliu shows up

They know who she is from the one picture Jing Yuan has

Yanqing also told them about his encounter with her

She asks them to join her day out, saying she wants to meet her nieces/nephews

Everyone’s really unsure, but Dan Heng knows she probably has answers that DF!child wants so he promises to keep them safe

Jingliu makes a quip about paternal instincts

When she’s saying her final goodbye to Baiheng, I imagine this is the first time the kids have really heard about her outside of history

JY!child takes a special interest because I imagine they want to be a pilot

But Jing Yuan probably doesn’t talk about the quintet because I don’t think he ever really got a chance to grieve

Especially in this AU

On the way to Scalesgorge, she talks about Dan Feng

She doesn’t have nearly as much information about the experiment as Jing Yuan

But she talks about DF!child’s mother, and her brilliance and selflessness

Then she talks about Dan Feng’s recklessness and it’s almost hard to tell if she’s insulting or complimenting him

But DF!child walks away with a better understanding of their parents

The kids don’t stick around Scalesgorge, they leave with Yanqing

But before they do B!child comes face to face with their father, and it clicks

The picture Jing Yuan has of the quintet, that man had always looked weirdly familiar

But seeing him now, the could trace the features they saw staring back in the mirror

Obviously Blade intends for Jinglu to kill him, so he doesn’t really know what to say

All he offers is a stiff nod as his eyes catch on the sword at their waist

They leave with Yanqing, each a little more in touch with themselves and what they want
