I don't want to delete it, since I have more than enough sentimental memories of my times here as previously stated, and I'd never want to disrespect and take away the memories of all the people I've met who put their own time and dedication into this blog - or the people who've enjoyed it!

Just a heads up but I'm gonna be archiving this blog and moving to a new one. The url and rules and whatnot are all the same, I'm just gonna be migrating.

Between being s.hadowb.anned and me having had this blog for the last five years, I do wanna move to a new blog and get that set up.

I'll be slowly following folks over on the new blog while I get everything set up there. Hopefully it'll be by the end of the week that I get everything set up.

PSA: HIATUS

From September 5th to September 17th, I'll be out of town without access to my computer and therefore, will be on hiatus across both this blog and gotham-crusader.

During that time, this blog will run entirely on queue, reblogging musings posts; aesthetics posts; and headcanons.

While I won't be writing during this time, I be lurking and sending the occasional meme/ask. In addition, I will still be reachable through DMs.

Remember when Zdarsky was announced to do Batman and we had hope?

Good times.

Mild venting under the cut.

Like, I get what he's trying to do in Gotham War. I can see the ingredients for the dish he's making.

But the dish fuckin' sucks and it's been all the main Batman book has been serving for the last 7 years.

It's sad that the only time in that timeframe the main Batman book has been good was for a 7 issue fill-in run, where 2 of those issues were part of an event that was just okay.

Ah well, it could be worse. Detective has been the bee's knees, Batman & Robin have been watering my crops, and the rest of Dawn of DC has been consistently solid for everything that isn't a main universe Bat-Book.

And for however bad Batman is, at least I'm not reading Amazing Spider-Man.
