When Sawyer had made his statement, requested that she don't leave, he'd never thought that she might actually decline. That Candice actually wanted to leave. It took him by surprise when she stated that she'd never be first in his heart. For a moment he stood there, confused as to what she could mean. "What are you talking about? Of course you're first. You think that I would cheat on you? Do you really think that I would go out there and find someone else?" It wasn't until the questions had left his mouth that he considered that perhaps she hadn't meant another person, but that perhaps she felt she was competing with something else.

With a sigh, Sawyer took a step back and ran his hand over his face. "So, what you're telling me is that you don't want to be with me? Is that what you're saying? That I'm the only one out of the two of us that wants to be in this relationship? I'm just trying to make sure I have all the facts straight." His voice didn't hold any anger, or sharpness. Instead, he remained calm, waiting for her to answer and clarify where they stood before he allowed himself to feel any sort of pain. It wasn't over until she officially said it was.

Replaying Brilliant Diamond so here's the issues I've found so far

-ILCA. Just ILCA. please gamefreak give us an octopath traveler style gen 5 remake

-The Chibis ruin anything vaguely serious. This coulda been our chance to see a more animated Cyrus

-Cyrus Isn't a thing that's there throughout the story as much...

-...Because they're "Diamond and Pearl remakes and not Platinum remakes" (ignoring that FRLG didn't have a notable third version to remake, the others were based off of CRYSTAL AND EMERALD respectively, with some changes made (some better than others (HEY GUYS LETS MAKE THE BATTLE FRONTIER A TINY MODEL AND THEN COPYPASTE THE X AND Y BATTLE MAISON)))

-IF THEY'RE DIAMOND AND PEARL REMAKES WHERE'S THE FUCKING GAME CORNER? WHERE'S THE EXPLOSION TM?

-the cart has no postgame or updated soundtrack. also the soundtrack it does use isn't the actual DS soundtrack. this is most likely to pay for cheaper, lower storage cartridges.

-the pokemon in the grand underground is a swell addition. the removal of secret bases is downright heartbreaking

-if we WERE going to use chibis then why not the gen 6 style chibis that were used in the last remake set, which mind you were based on the third version, and included extra content not in the original games and all came on the fucking cartridge and won't be locked out the moment the switch online goes off like the last generation's has.

C'mon, after HGSS and ORAS, and even FRLG, which added a whole huge area to explore, I was excited to revisit sinnoh with all the new fixins and this is what we got?

-no way to skip the tutorials

-2 fire type lines in the main story and one of them is a starter. if you didn't pick the monkey, you got ponyta or nothing.

-why did they make the elite four and champion that big of a leap from the rest of the game in terms of difficulty?

-Every gym is the DP and not the platinum version. This means that Gardenia, Maylene and Fantina's gyms suck again, and combined with the ability to use the ability to walk in every direction to cheese Candice's gym puzzle, this is a real Misogyny Win

-If you don't fail mathematics on purpose, you cannot see a single drifloon until friday in real time.

-Gym order is back to the DP versions, so fantina is now gym 5 again.

-pokemon walk with you, but they have collisions.

-gym leader and E4 teams are back to their DP pokemon so volkner has an octillery and flint is a lying bastard who calls himself a fire type specialist. oh, and they still have evayshun moves on the fucking sets. might as well have given all their pokemon moody while we're at it

Concern and worry were just piling up and this was really the first thing he’d been able to do to help. He called a cab on his way to meet him there, in case the girl needed to go somewhere, but he was not letting her in the car. He was taking Cain and leaving. Candice could rot for all he cared, which was saying a lot for someone like Teddy. He wouldn’t watch Cain hurt Winnie again, nor the two year old that was currently with her. The root of all of these problems seemed to stem with the Daniels. He pulled over when he spotted them and got out of the car to check his cousin over. “Damn Cain,” He breathed out. “Come on, let’s get you checked over.” He gestured to the car, but looked at Candice. “I got you a cab if you need one. Snow fell around them, crowning the beauty lightly, until they seemed to weave into her fair locks. She was a temptation. The bells peeled in the distance. It was the eve of her people’s holiday. A holiday that his people would get to experience for the first time in their history. It seemed odd to him to celebrate the birth of an infant but the Christians were a strange people.

Phew! I beat Pokémon Brilliant Diamond today!

It’s been great! The only thing is, I kind of wish Flint used his Platinum team! It would be one thing if the E4 all had diverse teams. But Flint has a grand total of two Fire-types! And to a lesser extent, Candice’s team. A Medicham on the Ice gym leader’s team? At least it’s not as questionable as Flint’s “fire” team.

Cynthia was tougher than I remembered! It was a pretty good challenge! Not “scream and swear” difficulties like Ghetsis, but not quite an easy sweep either. It was nice, having to think about how to implement items! Strategically making use of items can be satisfying in its own way. Spamming Full Restores because your opponent does isn’t really fun, but using X Items to boost specific stats, especially when your choices are limited (as mine were), is interesting!

Also! Fun fact! If you chose the male protagonist and have Turtwig as your starter, Dawn’s post-game team ends up resembling her team from the anime! The only exception is her team all being fully evolved.

but yeah I heard that Cynthia was made tougher! I guess the thought would be to balance out against fairy types, since they didn’t exist in gen 4? she’s #iconic, so I don’t really blame them lmao

yeah I was hoping for more Platinum content too tbh. I never got to play that version, but Giratina is my favorite legendary.

      Sebastian gave a look around the mingling patrons of his parents' dinner party. All guests were engaged with someone else or refilling their drinks and plates. He'd just escaped a rather long and tedious conversation with an older acquaintance of his mother's. Hunter had gone toward the back library at least ten or fifteen minutes ago. Sebastian couldn't remember through the sheer annoyance which clouded his every move and thought just now. He sucked in a breath and downed the last of his champagne.

  Honestly, he didn't know what he was doing with the Clarington boy. Their parents had been society friends for some time. Being wealthy and powerful meant they were often at the same events and had grown up around most of the same pool of friends. Minus the outliers. Hunter was a by the books kind of guy. Gruff. No one would ever suspect he was anything less than walking a tight line on the straight and narrow. Sebastian knew the truth though. It's why his heart pattered off beat for a second as he made his way to the second level of the grandiose personal library they had here.

      His parents never spent any time actually reading in the library of their vacation home but it was important their friends thought they did. A convenient location for clandestine rendezvous. Sebastian laid eyes on Hunter and a familiar smirk feathered the corners of his lips. “There you are,” he said, as though Hunter was the late one, hoping to annoy him. “I was afraid you might've gotten so bored you'd start to read. Would've been a shame.” He looked over his shoulder, aware of Hunter's paranoia. “No one saw me leave,” he assured. “How'd you shake Bianca anyway?” Patricia. Candice. Bianca. Both their parents were forever trying to set them up and plan for their futures. Oh, how little they knew.

002 Dcau Dick Grayson?

How I feel about this character: He’s amazing?? My baby?? The best adaptation of Dick Grayson ever??? So underappreciated??????

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Cindy (House & Garden), Candice (Bane) and Miranda Kane (Animal Act).

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Bruce in BTAS. Tim in TNBA.

My unpopular opinion about this character: Well, for starters, he’s not a disservice to comic Dick. Secondly, everyone seems to think he’s an overdramatic jerk in TNBA, which is complete bullshit. Bruce and Barbara screwed him over bad, he had a right to be upset. And thirdly, the mullet is goddamn amazing.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Wow, this sounds really vague, but I just wish he would’ve been happy.

My OTP: I don’t really have one.

My crossover ship: Ok, ok, hear me out . . . DCAU Dick x NTT Kory (I’m trash™). It is technically different universes so it’s allowed. Also, I just really need someone caring and patient like Kory to take care of Dick after all the shit Bruce and Barbara put him through.

A headcanon fact: I thought long and hard about this (which is why I took four days to reply to this), but at the end of the day I’m really not a headcanon person. I just value canon way too much. Most of the time, the closest I get to a headcanon is “fixing” ooc canon. I mean, of course I would have liked to see DCAU Teen Titans or Dick trying to balance being a superhero alongside dating Bridget Clancy and serving with the BPD, but that’s not a headcanon, that’s comics. I’m really sorry, but I don’t have an answer for this question.

Andy was born to Arthur Gray. His mother was an old friend and business partner of the family who died when he was born. He grew up to be his father’s image and the family heir, growing up close to his grandmother. Andy and his brother Candice stayed at their grandparent’s house night, days or even weeks when their father had to work. While his brother got taught how to be a real gentleman and earl by their grandmother, His grandmother taught him how to be a real gentleman and earl while he sister had fun with their grandfather. At the age of 6, their grandfather died and Andy became a support for his sister because he felt like she needed him to get over the death as she was feeling guilty. His grandmother taught him everything he knows. At the age of 18, he watched how his sister’s boyfriend died because of the beating three classmates gave him. Andy helped his sister plan the revenge. His sister poisoned them and he hid the bodies, burning them and the boy’s car so anyone would ever find them again. At the age of 19, Andy finally was able to show Candice the world of being a master. He did that to try and finish her walk to the dark side. He taught her everything he could teach her about the family. Andy also learnt that his grandfather had actually being a pet for his grandmother before they got married. Now at the age of 25, he has shares in the family business and visits his family clug to start learning about it. He has talked with Candice. They had decided that she would take the business and he would get the control of the club and the legal side of the business.
