You found yourself often visiting Daryl in his tent later in the night when you couldn't sleep. He tried to act like it annoyed him, like your presence was a nuisance to him, but it wasn't. You spoke about whatever came to your mind for the next however-many minutes with him. Mostly just you babbling on, but it didn't bother him. You could run off at your mouth all you wanted, gave him all the excuse to stare you down and look a little too closely at places he knew he shouldn't.

Eventually, you got on the topic of things you missed about life before. Things you wished you got to experience, things you were slowly starting to forget about.

"I didn't even get to properly lose my virginity before this shit took over," you complained, now laying on Daryl's bed like it was your own. "It really bites, man." 

His eyes widened a bit, arms falling to his legs from their crossed position. 

"Wait, what'd y'say?" 

"Huh? Oh, I didn't get to have sex with anyone before the outbreak," you repeated, not caring to turn to face him while you spoke. "Sometimes, I wonder if I'll die before I get any."

So, when I was in highschool, I took a creative writing class and that really did help me a lot. One of the things my teacher taught me was that my writing style felt very personal, she said I wrote like I was talking to a friend instead of telling a story, but she didn't say it was a bad thing. She taught me to build on that by using more adjectives and bigger vocabulary to keep attention.

One thing I always recommend is to know what you're going to write. Start with the idea and then think about how you want it to end, the middle can be anything as long as those two connect, but just writing without a plan will make you fall into a bit of hole because you don't know where you're going.

I also recommend a thesaurus. I ALWAYS keep a thesaurus open when I'm writing. I'll write a first draft and then I'll go through it again and change some words around to make it flow better. Another little thing I do is trying not to use the same word over and over again in a paragraph, because I find that it makes it difficult to read and the redundance is annoying.

EX: "She ate her food quietly, not even the sound of her quiet chewing made a noise. When she looked up, he was picking at his food. He too, was uncomfortable,"

Not bad! But!! The over usage of certain words stalls it.

A better way would be:

"She ate her food in silence, not even the sound of her quiet chewing made a nose. When she looked up, he was picking at his plate. He too, was uncomfortable,"

Little things like that, change everything!

And once again, don't forget proper punctuation and don't be scared to write a bit of dialogue! I read A LOT of fanfiction, I'm pretty sure I have a list of my favorites somewhere and I repost a lot. It's always a great idea to read something and ask yourself, "Why do I like this? What makes it good?"

And in doing so, your writing will make you're writing significantly better. Sort of like an art study. I see no issue with this as long as you're not outright stealing. All of the greats were inspired by someone else.

Apple as young stayed in a orphanage with his sister and older brother it was not quite easy due their parents being burned alive. But thankfully a family ended to adopt them three.

He had not a easy life due always crying at the nights and having nightmares about his parents being death, and due to that his adoptive father needed to take him to therapy

The therapy was quite good at the end it made him feel better. Though he still missed a lot his parents

He started to learn guitar at age 5!! He always was interesed due his brother always playing with it :D

In school wise.. well not easy too, he was being bullied by a girl named "coco" which thankfully someone (avocado.. oc by @asteix0 :3) defended him at the end

Him and avocado are the best friends since school they have those "bros" friendships.. though there was one time that he liked avocado LMFAO but stopped and started to like grape instead (giggles)

At age 15 he started to take anxiety pills and started to drink alcohol for "cope" his past. Since it was too hard for him to move on, so avocado adviced him to go therapy again or either he will die of overdose.

Unfortunately he did tried to self harm once in his life, but he couldn't because he was too scared. It could say even cried to his 3 friends (i will talk about it now) a lot which yes, he had some emotional support. And afortunately he didn't do that

He have a band, a group formed with sweet potato, red pepper and avocado (both is owned by cereal!!) Then in a future there will be a new member ;))

He never had been angry. He is that typical good and cool uncle you would ever had in your life!! But also can be your father.

Talking about being father, his fatherly personality is what he is mainly. He will take care of you and comfort you no matter what happens and of course never leaves you or even abandon you<33

He 100% prefers long hair. Doesnt matter if is very long though.. he will always like it long.

So I saw you were looking for a Hazbin headcanon, well fo I have a doozy for you that I'm posting on anon as a form of witness protection from the angst I'm boutta deliver on thee:

not sure how you feel about character death, even temporary death, but I usually write my particular Lucifer as *cursed* with immortality as his punishment. His soul and Eden's forbidden tree were joined and sacrificed to make Hell, so he literally can't leave it or truly die - even when Hell is entirely devoid of all sinners and Hellborn until the heatdeath of the universe,, he will still be Alive and unable to do a thing about it, Hell will truly be Forever-

This is made all the worse in that if you take the reason why him and Lilith were able to have Charlie at all was just as a way to rub salt in the wound by giving them a miracle baby with the underlying knowledge she's going to *die* one day, doubly so if you subscribe to the headcanon of Lucifer being the one to carry her...

And him finding out about the fact that he can't die because of his oldest once friend *Adam* being the one to accidentally kill him with an angelic weapon, because Lucifer refused to fight back, still believing peace can be made, trying to protect the denizens of Hell... Only to find that none stood with him when the exorcists came, not even to offer support from the sidelines if they couldn't fight, just him there, dying alone and thinking this gonna be his last...only to come back, for heaven to find out angelic weapons won't get rid of him, and Adam now discovering that there's literally no real consequences to going a little too far in fighting

which leads into regicide actually being an option, and Lucifer tending to reappear after a few days ala mirroring Christ's resurrection, regardless of the method used to kill him, *including angelic weapons* or being destroyed past the point most can't pull themselves together, all injuries and scarring after death disappear completely but only after dying and being, uh, revived....

Then, when the push comes to shove, only fighting back because *Charlie's* life is on the line, beating Adam *nearly* to the point of death but still intending to spare him.... Only for him to be killed by a sinner with a knife, too weak to fight off because of *him making Adam that way*, and now Adam is never coming back... It hitting Lucifer later and him considering himself a *friend killer* despite what had been done to him in the past....

He misses his old friend and the only other person who MIGHT understand or give comfort fucking ABANDONED HIM after alienating him and his daughter before peacing out during a worsening mental health crisis that she may or may not have encouraged to worsen so she could retain complete control over Hell in his stead considering how all of Hell adored her and she united them while Lucifer fell into an extremely borderline neurotic fixation on making ducks for Charlie because of one (1) happy memory, perhaps the LAST ONE he had with her before Charlie was just?? Taken from him partway?? Charlie NEVER CALLING HIM BY HER OWN CHOICE but always call her mom who never answers?

Charlie likely only taking about a dream that he USED TO SHARE but now CANT because of how many people likely died from it, including him?? How what Charlie is doing is painting a MASSIVE target on her back that Heaven would faster kill to maintain the status quo (as they had shown before... because after LITERALLY FLOODING THE EARTH TO KILL 99.999% OF HUMANITY they got a liiittle uncomfy over the population?? Guilty conscience much to make them fearmonger over a revolt imo), aaaand he's a bad dad for that?

Like, idk about you, but not blindly supporting or enabling your kid into doing something patently dangerous because of literal paranoid terrorists that kill without hesitation or compunction, that needed a fucking TREATY to NOT KILL SOULS GOD LITERALLY MADE TO BE BORN IN HELL WITH NO AGENCY ON BEING BORN, just drives me wild, home girl didn't think about how these redeemed souls are gonna be treated, always held apart and tested and suspected of "being on the verge" of "doing something bad" because "if they did it once they'll do it again, unlike us TRULY PURE SOULS" and "how can we ever trust to be safe now that they WALK AMONG US",,, like,, I don't know, Hell could have been made a paradise too, that also could have been home and conditions structurally made better to where it was just straight up to be made more beneficial to follow the social contract like the rest of Hell, honestly would have been more sustainable

I am beginning to theorize that the lines between imagination, dreams, reality and un/subconscious are constantly in flux. Blurring the lines to the point where one is not clearly identifiable from one another. I say this because my dreams have only gotten more vivid and random. And there's so many aspects that I am like 'I haven't thought about that ever/in years' so it appearing unprovoked just DOES NOT MAKE FUCKING SENSE. It doesn't help that either I'm lazy or sickly adaptable because in dreams...I almost always go with the flow, even if it makes absolutely no logic what so ever. I'll TRY to tell you my dream. (and all the psychological bs is guesswork at best).

It was summer. My parents decided to take all of us to a park for camping WAY down south. Outside of a trip around the us when I was in my teens, I have never been this far south (nor did I recognize it). It was past my friend mike's house, so I asked if he could join. They didn't care. Then this is where it got weird....

First of all (I have this happen in almost ALL dreams where it's with people I know) I never 'saw' my family (or friend). I 'felt' them. Like energy/vibes. I didn't see them, but I could FEEL they were around (doing their own thing) and that's enough for me. Oddly, the other randoms in my dream I DID see, and I had no idea who they were.

Second of all, I extremely rarely dream of animals. Of any kind. It's usually trees and water and shit. But this time my parents mean old cat, who IRL is at death's door, was brought. And he hated every moment, BUT, he wanted to be there. Kinda like real life. lol Again, I didn't see him, but the energy of him was there. I have had dreams where I DO see them, they do NOT look like I thought, but their energy was similar to someone I did know, so I knew I could trust them.

Most of the dream I was lazing about, relaxing. Even sleeping (I have been sleeping in dreams and...it's weird. To feel like you are asleep, wake up, still be tired AND still be dreaming.) At one point I was lazing about, middle of a park in a field (I want to say in a wheel barrel)....and....(this made me uncomfy cuz I never have dream product placements) 2 food delivery people (walking. No bikes or car) delivered fucking PERSONAL (the tiny ones) papa johns pizza (I am not a fan) to 2 random people. One was a WAY too happy to be eating fucking papa johns young black man (race, let alone sex or gender, is almost NEVER in my dreams. It's mostly energy). And also an old white (homeless?) lady who looked messy....and would not stop starring at me till I acknowledged she got her food. Like she was starring me down out of the corner of my eye, in a weird creepy way, and wouldn't MOVE till I looked at her. Like I had to stare back to which she smiled and wondered off.

That stressed me out (papa johns and the creepy lady. I Know at least in part when I'm dreaming, and I hate seeing things that I don't even want to see in real life) so I went to find my friend we picked up. Here's the weird part: i remember us picking him up, but then never seeing him again. I was freaking out again: I was being a bad friend. I ditched him. So I go to look for him to ask him when he needs to get home.

Then it got really fucking weird.....

it wasn't my friend.

It was the last woman I kissed and had sex with (who I do not talk to or think about. Our interactions happened over 10 years ago....).

And I get maybe why she was there: she was the last female I was that vulnerable with (she was more like the guy than I was; aka that is why it didn't work out. Actually, I am usually the more emotional one in all of my relationships).

The reason this was weird was 2 points.

1-she acted like we were in love, had been dating for years, and acted....like the girlfriend I always deserved, not the one I got cuz I was a side piece.

2-IT FELT REAL. Like I do not deny I have numbed myself to the fact I may die alone, single. And yeah, that sucks. I don't want that, but I ain't going to ruin the rest of my life feeling lonely and sad for myself, spending every aching moment to 'fill that void'. I find that pathetic. But I'll tell you...in my dreams, I feel things I forgot I could feel. Love. Connection. Trust. Unity. Soul mates. Those are things you can never fake or buy or imagine; you either have them or your don't.

But that whole thing freaked me out, and made me kinda sad cuz I knew that feeling would be gone when I awakened, however, I did want to remember this, even tho it was a dream, so I forced myself awake...

Let me start off with hugs, he loves hugs!! He almost ALWAYS asks if it’s okay first since he would rather die than make you uncomfy, but sometimes he cannot help himself. Say he got something more than a cabbage out of a chest? Jumping for joy he’s about to tackle you from excitement. While he may act awkward about it at first, once he gets comfortable he MELTS into hugs. They are very safe and secure hugs, like it is the last hug he will ever get in his life. He is also very warm so if you are chilly then problem solved with a bennett hug. He always smells like grass and outdoors in general but in a tolerable way. A comfortable way, because it’s him

Cuddling with him knocks him out so fast. He feels that he can let his guard down around you, he feels very safe. Being able to hold you like that makes him so very happy, and as mentioned above he is very warm!! Best feeling cuddles ever.

His kisses are very gentle and sweet. He would loveee kissing your cheeks and forehead. He rarely ever surprises you with him, as like I said he doesn’t want to make you uncomfy, but would love if you surprised him with them! His face goes brrr red. Easiest way to give him butterflies.

When you go on an adventure with him, your safety is always his top priority. If you find yourselves in a dangerous area, he always holds your hand through it as long as he is able to. While he likes when you accompany him, his bad luck stresses him out since he doesn’t want it to cause trouble for you on accident.

Many days, Bennett greets you in the mornings. He’d pretty much be the first thing you saw outside your home every single day. He always offers up some kind of breakfast if you hadn’t eaten yet, (although cooking isn’t his strong suit, you can at least appreciate the effort and it’s not too bad if you help out LOL), and goes with you on your daily routine as long as you permit it. (be honest, why would u not)

He always walks you home when it gets late too!! He wants to make sure you get home safe, and be able to leave you with good feelings before you go to sleep/relax for the day. :] He also silently hopes it is a night where you invite him to stay, as falling asleep with you is his favorite safe place.

He gets very warm and fuzzy whenever you reassure him. He could be having a day where he feels at his worst but your kind words always pick him back up. A lot of people don’t have a ton of faith in him, but as long as you do that’s all he needs <3 He always wants to be someone you can trust and depend on! (like his teapot line. get it teehee)

Unpacking the Angel Event (Through My Own Perspective)

Okay so uh… this was a very uncomfortable seat the Devs have offered us today and like all things that give me moral uncomfiness, I HAVE to analyze it. Blame the ethics classes. A full disclaimer, this is not spoiler-free and is pretty much entirely just me unpacking my own feelings here. What may bother or not bother me could really affect you and there is nothing wrong with that. You are entitled to your own perspective. This is just me trying to walk through all the stuff in this event that just… rubbed me the wrong way. So let's get to it.

The Costumes

So. Let's start at the beginning. Diavolo apparently had the bright idea to put everybody in magical costumes of their angel forms (or something like it in Satan's case). This is… problematic.

The reason the brothers lost their angel forms was because they fell after the Celestial War… who's greatest causality (in their eyes) was their sister, Lilith. So one could imagine that their memories as angels aren't particularly happy ones… By this point in the "continuity" (this is Post-Attic, more on that later), they would have known that Lilith didn't actually die which may soften something like this a little. I dunno, I'm not one of them and trauma is uniquely personal to the individual, but the bigger issue is that Diavolo thought this was a good idea to start with to which I say! - I'm not at all surprised by that. Hear me out.

Diavolo is heavily implied to have had a huge ass crush on Angel Lucifer. He's also uh… probably a little sheltered (as sheltered as the royalty of Hell can be) and probably not used to think of his subjects' feelings on the things he does before he just does them. This is fairly evident in other events where he'll order the brothers to do XYZ task even if they want no part in it. It doesn't surprise me at all that Diavolo would want to see them (Lucifer) as angels again and not take into account how that could affect them. I don't think that'd be malice on his part, just shortsightedness, and he likely would have apologized if any of the brothers expressed an emotional problem with it to him directly.

Do they have problems? Yes. But since the event kind of wipes them of their true selves, that's better discussed elsewhere. Moving on.

The Bangles 

Holy fuck, how do we even approach this? So Simeon, in conjunction with Michael (probably, at this point I have to wonder if he's telling the truth about this) gives the brothers jewelry, presumably to wear to the party, that would… I'm not even sure. Curb their impulses? Force them to be mannered? The important thing is he did not tell them about that little detail before they put the bangles on…

This is… also problematic. First, we can try to establish Simeon's intentions versus what actually happened: 

The bangles were (likely) intended to be removable. It was the mixing of the magic that locked them in place so we can assume he didn't mean this to be a permanent change.

The magic on the bangles was probably amplified by the angel costumes. What this means is though we can assume that Simeon never intended them to become quite so… different, we'll never know just how much influence he was actually trying to put on them. It could have been anything from suppressing their sins to full blown force you to say please/thank you. We'll just never get to know now… 

I won't be the first person to liken this to mind control (nor the last) because… that's kind of how it turned out. Even worse still, it would have been completely involuntary on the brothers' part. Simeon DID NOT tell them what the bangles were going to do. Now, he claims later that he would have eventually, but we don't get to know when that would have been. I presume at some time after the party, because like. These are our boys. They're not going to consent to wearing something like that, they're just not.

This poses all kinds of questions and problems ranging from issues of consent to anatomy and even the worth of good deeds done out of obligation vs. free will and… I mean quite literally when I say Jesus Christ, Simeon, what the hell?!

I could write a completely different post debating whether or not what Simeon did actually had any moral merit but I won't because it'd be very dry and boring. I think the most interesting thing to take away here is that Simeon thought it was okay to do like, at all, and with approval from Michael (maybe) no less… That reflects something on angel society that I doubt will get explored but I need to ponder farther…

This section is all kinds of sticky so we need to move on.

The Development(?)

First off, to new players, don't worry this probably isn't canon (at least to the main story continuity). The Brothers should be back to normal in the new chapters and this won't have a long term effect on anything (aside from maybe a tie in to the next event ala Beach event-> Games). That's how Obey Me has always treated their events it seems and I sure hope they stick to it now. But, these are still the same characters going through a unique situation and that can offer some insight so… Let's discuss.

I mentioned earlier that the brothers had problems with this… Unfortunately, I think we only get to see Lucifer and Satan's thoughts in any detail because everyone else is too far gone by the time we reach them… Lucifer can pretty much be summed up as troubled and unhappy because (you know) not a lot of great memories as an angel. I presume that his wounded pride after the fall may also contribute. 

Satan is… more complex. I’m honestly more bothered by his change than anyone else’s because even he expresses how weird this is for him... (We get confirmation that he never in fact had an angel form, btw). Poor baby is going through a full on identity crisis and there’s a certain part of his mind that he’s not even allowed to use right now... Anger. The Avatar of Wrath, born from Wrath, can’t get angry and… Something about that just bothers me at a deeper level, not even I can express properly…

Everyone else is too far gone once we reach them. Their personalities are completely different and they can’t even acknowledge that’s the case. They think that they’ve turned a new leaf but we know that’s not the reality, that leaf was very much turned for them and it doesn’t make anything feel any better…

This may be my own opinion, but part of me thinks that this portion (and only this portion right here) was actually what the Devs were going for. They wanted us to be uncomfortable by all of this for like, story reasons. It’s a narrative trick. Think of the phrase “You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone.” I think they were trying to use the absence of the brothers’ usual flaws and traits as a weird way of celebrating them. Kind of like saying, “We could have given you guys these perfect brothers, but they’re not perfect and we know that’s why you like them. Look at these perfect guys, doesn’t it feel wrong?” The answer is, yes. It does feel wrong. And under other circumstances, it would be affirming like they’d be intending, “I don’t want this emotionally-open non-otaku, give me Levi dammit!” But when you add this intended discomfort with the already sketchy way we got here it just makes it all the worse… 

And absolutely NONE of this is helped by...

The… End?

I think the thing I hate about this event the most (actually legitimately hate) is how it ends. In that it doesn’t. It kind of just… abruptly stops right after Lucifer starts coming to himself again. Though I suspect that’s because they’re putting incentive into getting the event cards, this in NO WAY does the narrative any favors.

Most people are not going to get those cards. Even with Lonely Devil as an option, it’s a huge time/resource commitment to get there. Because of that, the majority of people are not going to get to see the aftermath of what happened. We don’t get to see how the brothers feel about what happened. We don’t get to see if they do, in fact, come to and if they have any takeaways from the experience or if they’re utterly disgusted by it. The player character doesn’t even get the option to comfort them after something that was probably terribly traumatic. It. Just. Ends.

What that means is all of that discomfort that we had just lingers… There’s no resolution or pay off. It just… stays… This is the worst possible thing they could have done. If you want your audience to feel uncomfortable, that’s one thing, but unless you’re telling like, a psychological thriller you gotta settle them back down again! Deep moral conflict is not a turn on!!!

Personally, I don’t hate that this thing exists. I don’t. The part of me that majored in Philosophy loves analyzing media like this so I can’t say that I didn’t get anything out of it. I don’t think all media should play it safe, it’s okay to leave the audience with no good answers or a feeling of unease, but you really got to be self-aware of it. The biggest flaw of this event, in my opinion, is that it rarely comes across as self-aware of its own horror. You get a very brief glimpse of it from Solomon when he comments on how creepy things are, but Simeon’s happy. Diavolo’s happy. And though he’s a little uneasy, Luke’s pretty content, too. Add that to the abrupt ending and we never get to know if ANY of them realize how awful of a thing this was to do to the brothers... It makes it all come off as an endorsement of mind controlling your friends into better people and (to me) that feels really, really wrong.

So in conclusion… I dunno. If the next event isn’t something along the lines of “Angelic Demons Part 2: Fixing What We Fucked Up!” then I think they really botched this one guys… I hope somebody was taking notes.

Tw: cursing and vore

This was never supposed to happen. Fuck, this was never supposed to happen. Wilbur didn’t even want to be revived, and he sure as hell didn’t want to be tiny. He had vague knowledge from what Tommy had told him in hell that his ghost counterpart, “Ghostbur” or whatever, was tiny for some reason. Whatever, ok, fine by him, what did he care, he was dead. He never thought for a second that Ghostbur’s size would transfer to him when he was revived.

So here he was, walking along the prime path just trying to take everything in. Not only did he have to deal with everything being big enough to crush him, but he hadn’t been here in so long he didn’t enough know what half of the stuff he walked by was. Until, finally, after walking for so long that the sun had long since set, Wilbur’s eyes fell to something familiar. Tommy’s pathetic little dirt shack, which he’d never been so happy to see.

It took him a while, but he finally made it into the “house.” He greatly underestimated how difficult opening doors would be when tiny. So he wasn’t all to pleased to find his brother asleep. Of course, it was the middle of the night, so he had every right to be asleep, but Wilbur had it. He had been through so much shit, he couldn’t take it anymore.

The now tiny angrily scaled the bed listening to the teen snore until he came up to Tommy’s face. He climbed over his cheek and onto his nose where he attempted to balance and kick Tommy’s forehead in an attempt to wake him.

“Tommy, you prick, wake up, I’m alive and small and it’s your ghost friends faULT-“

Wilbur was cut off as he slipped and fell off of Tommy’s nose and into his open mouth, bypassing the rogue and slamming into the back of his throat. He barely had time to breathe before he heard Tommy wake up and cough, the walls around around him shifting as the teen sat up and swallowed in an attempt to get rid of the block in his throat. Wilbur fought against the muscles all he could, but he couldn’t stop being pulled down, so he resorted to yelling frantic curses at Tommy in a desperate plea to get help before it all went to far. Unfortunately for him, he was fully pulled into the esophagus with one last swallow. ‘Fuck, shit, dammit, I just got brought back to life, o don’t want to die again…’

Wilbur felt his ankles enter a larger space, until all of his body fell into the large area and he landed to the ground with a dull thud. He quickly tried to stand up and get his bearings, but he fell back to the pliable surface over and over.

He felt a slight prodding from the wall in front of him, so cautiously he pushed back. Maybe Tommy knew he was in here. Maybe he could survive!

There was a tired groan above him before a voice rang out with a lazy “what the hell…” from Tommy, and Wilbur felt a surge of hope as he rambled quickly at Tommy.

“Tommy help I fell in your mouth when you where asleep and-“

“Fell in? Why didn’t you just ask?” Tommy interrupted.

The question confused Wilbur a lot. Ask? For what? To be in Tommy’s stomach? Why would ever ask for that? What was he talking about?

“Tommy, I’m sorry, man, you lost me there. Why would I want to be in here? I need you to get me the hell out!”

“You’re in there constantly! Just, whatever, if you didn’t mean to go in there I’ll let you out in the morning, ok?”

Wilbur sighed. Tommy was obviously to groggy to deal with right now, so he complied. He’d be fine. Probably. And honestly, he was to tired to care at that point. At least it was warm and actually kinda comfortable in the teen’s belly, if not a little wet.

“Fine. But you better. Night, Tommy.” Wilbur said, closing his eyes and getting into a comfortable position.

“Goodnight, Ghostbur.”

Wilbur’s eyes shot open. Oh, shit. That’s what he meant. He doesn’t know that Ghostbur’s gone yet. ‘He doesn’t know I’m back yet…

Oh well, that’s a morning problem.’
