Wintery Prompts

What most view as ‘entertainment’ has and likely always will be a complicated topic in her mind, as while she does understand it, she also does not. She had nearly all of her time until recently being forced into a position of simply watching. While it was entertaining occasionally if the interaction she was watching was dramatic enough for no real reason, being trapped and unable to influence even the slightest thing was so endless frustrating to the point that at times it felt like torture.

Yet others do this for fun?? Because they want to??? What is even the point? They should be going outside and interacting with the world! Not obsessing over conflicts they haven’t even the slightest ability to influence!

She frowns as she notices yet another person absorbing themselves in such things, immediately making her way over with the intention on lecturing her on how she’s wasting her time.

But… this is actually kind of a nice environment. The fire seems cozy enough. Maybe she can observe this for a minute. For research purposes only, obviously. To better understand the fascination. Just for a minute.

Until minutes turn into about an hour, and yet she still remains silently watching from behind the girl. She still has every intention of making herself known, of course, she just… needs to see how this conflict is resolved. Though if she had been involved, this would’ve been resolved before it even begun. This is nearly as frustrating as reality had been.

“OH, COME ON!” Another miscommunication causes her to yell out, flying up to the device she doesn’t quite understand to better yell at the people contained within. “How could one possibly be this foolish?! The solution is right there, if you imbeciles would just—!” 

She groans in frustration, before snapping out of her rage as she remembers she isn’t alone, slowly turning to face the wolf-eared girl. “O-Oh. Um.” Well this is embarrassing. She came in here to tell her not to become exactly what she just did! Panicking, she just says the first thing that comes to her mind. “……touch grass.”

Unofficial Gay Fates 2.1.0 Is here! This update adds in 64 new supports, as well as implemented the new Custom Endings I showed off before! This release features 105 custom endings.

Big thanks to sketchi, who not only commissioned the code patch for the endings from Tildehat, but also wrote quite a few of the ones in this update! Also shoutouts to Tru and Tsunny, who wrote most of the other endings implemented, as well as their usual help coding supports.

Curious about Panne: Proud Taguel and Fae: Divine Dragon, they are my first fully merged units and I was wondered what I should do specifically with Fae’s B skill slot. I’m considering replacing Renewal 3 with Dragon’s Wrath 4.

panne is a bit difficult to use as a galeforcer...

arcane nihility provides panne with the -1 special cd that she doesn't have in her prf weapon. in addition, with the 5 skill inheritance slots you can inherit both arcane nihility and beast sense 4 at the same time (if you choose to run it over wings of mercy 4)

the atk/spd clash and wings of mercy 4 that you have in her a and b slot are already incredible skills for her and have amazing synergy together.

i think that def/res smoke is a better option in her c slot than alarm spd/def due to the pathfinder support it provides allowing extra mobility for your allies and which is crucial for galeforce player phase teams. other support that def/res smoke provides is the def/res -7 debuff on enemies and atk+6 to unit and allies within 2 spaces. (ideally you have another galeforcer with fury or a push skill acting as a wings of mercy beacon).

def/res smoke is available on quite a few units including khadein linde and spring bernadetta who are currently rerunning on the 7th anniversary special heroes banner

quickened pulse sacred seal helps her activate galeforce. would recommend running her with a unit like duo askr or supporting her with velouria and running her.

as for fae ...

new sun-stone+ is the inheritable weapon from new years f!kana (in the grail pool). it grants +4 to all stats in combat but more important it reduces damage from foes first hit by 15% of her atk! this is unpierceable flat damage reduction that should reduce damage taken by 10. it can also be refined to increase her spd and denies special charges to foes.

new sun-stone+ unfortunately does not have the -1 special cd effect so that is why i would recommend engaging with marth emblem for the -1 special cd. she can also run glimmer or moonbow for a lower cd special.

the new atk/spd scowl skill is great for her however it's currently only available on the new mythic lumera unit. other options for her a slot include atk/spd finish which has true damage when special triggers as well as healing or atk/spd ideal (requires an outsourced visible buff for full effect)

atk/spd ideal 4 can be acquired from the monica combat manual in divine codes 4

fae's best b slot skill is going to be counter roar 4 from brave corrin. it has damage reduction, damage reflection (increases damage by 30% of foe's damage before damage reduction) and self heal after combat. unlike dragon wall or dragons wrath it doesn't require her to win a res check and is always active. brave corrin is in the standard pool so hopefully you can get her if you don't have an extra copy.

time's pulse 4 is a good c slot skill as it allows her to activate her special more often for extra damage in combat : )

distant counter dragon sacred seal is always a good option for dragon units.

Say what you will about Fates but the fact it gave us Siegbert/Velouria and Leo/Sakura and Nyx at all is more than enough for me to justify it's existance- OH AND LASLOW/AZURA WHO THE FUCK CAN FORGET PERHAPS THE GREATEST FIRE EMBLEM PAIRING OF ALL TIME.

i havent BEATEN rev yet i am getting close tho (ch20 rn) and i'm finishing off the last paralogue i actually want (cuz god i am no longer grinding relationships thanks)

my pairings so far are:

corrin/felicia (for obvious bias reasons. felicia is my og fe wife.)

camilla/keaton (this one is just to turn velouria into a beast) (what the fuck is this support chain honestly. camilla look at my bones. keaton i dont want to look at your bones. camilla what if i get lost in the woods. ok fine i'll look at your bones)

azura/laslow (was recommended this one and yeah it is cute! sol on shigure is also nice) (i really like this support chain it's great)

odin/nyx (picked this one cuz i thought it would be funny and i was RIGHT. odin is SEETHING that her backstory is so cool.) (i initially did this only to get ophelia because i wanted to get kana dark knight via supports but then it turned out THEY DONT HAVE SUPPORTS so now i just have ophelia. it's fine)

oboro/takumi (i think the insane soft spot takumi has for his retainers is adorable and also i just use both of them regularly it works) (the takumi polyship is real god help me) (I'm so sorry i benched hinata)

and that's it i think! again i am not grinding these fuckers i'm tired of doing that. this is my final team now fuck everything

so i mainly pick bcuz i like the pairing or its funny and man the supports really sold me on laslow/azura in particular. "You shall be my inspiration!" "And you shall be my muse!" adorable. sickening. also funny that they both have insane backstory lore that they wont/cant tell anyone about. they both casually make mention of something utterly ridiculous ONCE and their kids fucking freak over the lore drop but then they move on and never talk abt it again

Zephia does not hold herself back from bursting into laughter, the magenta tassels hanging from her horns swaying in the breeze as she titled her head back. This girl was truly strange.

"It's not a piece of headwear, dear," She gestures towards the horns that decorate her head. She presumes they were not there when she was born, and simply grew in as she aged, but she did not have enough memories of her early childhood to say for certain. Nor did she remember if this trait had been unique in her village or not, "They are simply a part of my body. Not so easily removed as a piece of clothing or the... like." She swats at one of the tassels, like some of the playful cats at the monastery liked to if she knelt beside them as she passed, still chuckling softly to herself.

"Why... whatever made you think it was some sort of trend? Do you see anyone else around with anything of this manner? Or is it something more... mysterious?" She frowns, still unsure why the idea of this girl felt familiar. It felt as though she should be doing something with her (of the variety of her... other employers), but she was completely unsure as to what.

"Perhaps you do not... understand humanity?" The little girl did seem terribly divine in one or another. Zephia swore silently to herself that she would get some sort of answer as to what sort of divinity by the end of this little chat. She would be entirely unsatisfied if she did not.
