Sylvia was born to two young women, one of which was a rather popular artist while the other was a popular jazz singer. For the majority of her life she grew up in a loving home until the day she tirned 6 and went to the park and never saw her parents ever again. A man led her away and ultimately ended up abducting her. This led to being touch starved and always helping others out. She doesn't want the same thing to happen to anyone else as it did with her. Oh, yes, she did eventually end up being found when she was 17 (about a year ago) and was safely returned to her moms who were overjoyed that their little girl was finally home after 11 years of being missing.

He met a group of people who ended up offering him a jib as a hitman, when Gabriel tried to refuse they threatened his life, resulting in Gabriel accepting the job.

Galaeth wasn't exactly born, they were more or less made from moondust by The Entity (yes, he's making a come-back, you're welcome), The Entity being the creator of sorts cared for them just like how a father was supposed to. However, due to Galaeth being a Xeo, they are destined to become a Guardian rather than staying as a regular Moonlit (A regular being made from Stardust). Galaeth however wishes not to become a Guardian, so they gained a habi of constantly Rebelling and doing the complete opposite of what The Entity told them to do. This doesn't frustrate The Entity, he actually gets a chuckle out of it as it reminds him of when he was a young Xeo.

So, I've got a question for the snake den. There are so many versions of eclipse (and some of sun and moon of course), that they cant all be called Eclipse, right? So I think that each of them should each have their own seperate names

In-universe, the nagas have their own language, and to Y/N, their names in their native tongue sound so terribly similar that it's difficult for them to differentiate the nagas but for the sake of the question, and maybe bordering a little into OC territory, these are the names I would give them so not everyone is named Eclipse.

Most of your days are spent GREENING OUT off a huge BLINKER or talking to strangers on online forums about your ABSURDLY HIGH TOLERANCE LEVEL. You source your poisons of choice internationally, because that’s where THE BEST SHIT is from of course, and because you can’t exactly shop local when you live in THE MIDDLE OF GODDAMN NOWHERE. Besides being in a state of CONSTANT INTOXICATION, you have a few other hobbies that tend to occupy your time. You’ve accrued exactly 420,000 subscribers for posting several 10 HOURS OF SICK PHONK BEATS FOR STUDYING AND CRASHING YOUR CAR TO themed videos. This is Grahm. He says that's his name. He says he's native to Penacony. He says he walks the Path of Harmony. He Hosts an anonymous radio show that talks about Cryptids, Unexplained Rumors, conspiracies, and otherwise strange happenings around the hotel and park that has a dedicated cult following. Cya is a child prodigy. Hers is a family of swans that have dedicated themselves to the arts. Having chosen to focus on dance and music, she quickly rose to become a master performer. Those who first meet Cya will say that she has a haughty and self-assured attitude that borders on arrogance. In reality, it is all just an act, as she suffers from anxiety and imposter syndrome. The pressure to uphold the family legacy and meet everyone’s expectations is immense, and she does her best to hide her insecurities. Suffice to say, this has not proven successful, and with no one to confide in, she can fall into days long states of depression.

Konstantine is an amateur detective on a one-man quest to bring down the local mob boss. He gets dragged into his family's schemes, has his powers stolen, and finds himself forced to rely on the mob boss for survival.

Katie's OC 1

Sepo Kaiacynthus is an aroace siren man in his late twenties/early thirties with a tall stature, gaunt face, dark eyes, and long hair he usually keeps braided. He is mute and has been ever since the Silver Sovereign, divine empress of the sirens, cut out his tongue as punishment for murdering her daughter, which he did by way of setting the royal palace on fire as retribution for his brother's unjust execution. Occasionally, he walks with a cane due to dizziness from a lingering brain injury he gets at the end of the first book. He is a remarkably cunning, paranoid man, with a brutally pragmatic streak. He also tends to be very grumpy, though he does have good manners and a sense of propriety instilled from being raised in a temple. He enjoys complaining about every little thing, though he'll deny it if you ask. He tends to get very worked up over issues, which, combined with his hair-trigger temper, can result in some stunning acts of violence. This violence is never directed at his friends though. Sepo loves just as deeply as he hates, and if someone manages to worm their way into his heart, he'll protect them to his last breath. Other than that, as a siren, he has Opinions on music, and also enjoys learning about surface magic too. His own vocal magic was rendered unusable when his tongue was cut out, and his relationship with the god that grants that magic is also quite touchy. He's not a big fan of religion in general.

Katie's OC 2

Mashal Darezsho is a towering robot man with bronze plating, a human looking face, and baggy clothes. He is incredibly strong and fights with a sword. As a person, he's kind and honorable, even knightly, and enjoys nothing more than helping people in need. He loves listening to folk talk and takes pleasure in the simple beauty of the world, translating this to sketch art. He is quite orderly. His main issue is that he has a strong sense of right and wrong, but he also extends his morality to others, making choices for them whether they asked for it or not. In addition, he tends to be rather naive due to his inclination towards seeing the best in people. Sometimes, this works out and he helps people to become a better version of themselves. Other times, not so much. However, beneath all this is a hidden violent streak. Mashal doesn't remember his past. He doesn't remember how he came to be broken on the side of the road. All he knows is that there is someone out there he must kill, and that anything magic-adjacent causes something deep within him to freeze with horror and rage. He tries not to give in to this dark current, to remain honorable and helpful, but every so often, he slips up.

My OC

Katherine looks like a fifteen year old girl, acts like a cryptid and is probably closer to the latter than the former. She's quiet, secretive, and rather creepy, at least to the casual observer. To someone who knows her (that is, her best friend/apprentice Dane and her elder brother L), she is a pathological snarker, has the worst authority issues known to any immortal entity, and likes chocolate gelato more than life. She'd gleefully pick a fight with anything from vampire teachers to the goddess of dreams for no bigger reason than because she could. That said, she does have a good heart.

Star's [idk what to call you sorry] OC

He’s [Michael] sixteen years old but sometimes acts too old for his age. He’s a superhero by night so he tries to be as responsible as he can but is also chronically sleep deprived. He is very wary of anyone he doesn't know and will sometimes spend days trying to figure out their intentions. If he thinks that they are a threat he will do one of two things. Either try to talk to them if he thinks they can be swayed, or attack and try to take them down. If he thinks they;re intentions are good, then he’ll try to be friends with them. He’s overall a really good guy but is often very gullible at times. He will also talk your ear off if you let him. He just wants to help people. 

Gwen is a twelve-year-old girl with invisibility powers. She's extremely kind, compassionate, and empathetic, though has a bit of fire inside her. She's soft-spoken, loves reading, and appreciates nature, due to going on hikes with her family and takes morning runs to wake herself up. She has an intuitive sense to how others are feeling, to the point where she's often cited as the one member of her friend group who understands others and their emotions, despite there being a telepathic empath in the group. Gwen loves her friends deeply, even though she doesn't have anyone she'd consider a "best friend." She plays percussion in both her band class and an after school band and adores music. Gwen is very passionate about others, to the point where she can get stuck in others' problems. She gets increasingly more pessimistic about the future throughout the series, but that doesn't stop her from doing her absolute best work to change that. She's relatively impatient unless she can feel herself making a difference. Despite being shy, she lights up when comfortable around others, and can show a ferocious passion if necessary. She loves learning more, especially about other people.

Gwen and Cya

I think Gwen would be thrown-off but intrigued by a sentient swan. She'd be interested in Cya's life and culture and may get a little too excited learning more. I think she'd be able to see through Cya's act with relative ease, and she'd be honored if Cya chose to confide in her. Gwen would be an incredible confidant if chosen, and she could even try to motivate Cya more.

Gwen and Konstantine

Don't know much about his personality here, so I'm not sure how they'd interact. However, Part 3-4 Gwen would probably want to help take down a mob boss, so I'd like a team up to see more with them.

Gwen and Sepo

Gwen would love to know more about Sepo and his culture, even if they have to work around a communication barrier. Gwen would have a lot of empathy and understanding for Sepo, and would express as much. Gwen would appreciate his manners despite his grumpy demeanor, and would be okay with listening to complaining. One thing they do have in common is love and hate both going deep, especially if we take Gwen from Part Three onward. But something they have in common from the start is Opinions About Music. Don't know how much Sepo would like Gwen's band's music, but it would be interesting to see a debate or agreement about music regardless. Gwen may be a little hurt if Sepo tears apart her music, but I don't think she'd hold a grudge over it. She would also love to know more about Sepo's magic in general.

Gwen and Mashal

These two would instantly connect on their compassion and love for people, and I think Gwen would find learning how to use a sword fun, even if she won't take it up as a hobby (though the image of Gwen with a sword is awesome). They'd definitely bond over love of talk and beauty of the world. They both see the best in people but have violent streaks. Gwen would empathize with Mashal's past and be kind and understanding about it. She may try to get him to talk, hoping he'd remember, but that most likely won't work, and she'd catch on quickly. She'd be curious about his past, and would probably help in the best way she'd can. I think they'd be a fun pairing. No idea how Mashal is with kids though, so that will be fun.

Gwen and Katherine

I think Katherine will be intriguing to Gwen. I think she'd like to know more about her. Maybe she won't know her immediately, but Gwen is more than a casual observer. Gwen also isn't obsessed with authority, so she'd be more curious as to why Katherine defies it. Gwen doesn't usually start fights, but again, she'd want to know why. I think she would notice Katherine's good heart, and Gwen can match someone's snark if she wants to. It would be fun if their relationship started with Katherine wanting to pick a fight.

Gwen and Michael

While Gwen will find Michael intriguing and even figure him to be a good true hero from the start, it would be hilarious to see him ultra suspicious of a middle schooler, even if he is sixteen. But once he found out she was cool, I'd love for them to be friends. She'd be fine getting her ear talked off (the people she hangs out with the most are the chattiest bunch known to man), and she's a good listener. I feel like Michael will appreciate this

hey! I'm asking about your art. I've seen bits and pieces of stuff but your work and OCs still kind of elude me, are you willing to share a bit more?

OK so- for the better part of a decade I've been working on this writing/potential webcomic project that I call Gobverse, which is this contemporary fantasy setting where most of the fantasy races are instead based to varying degrees off of cryptids, aliens or other folklore creatures (Hopkinsville Goblins, Mothmen, etc). Over time its evolved into this weird eclectic project of its own.

Its set in what would be Central Appalachia in the tiny city of Pine Hill, where the tri-county area's Adventurer's Guild is stationed- which is where the main cast work for a living. The Main Cast being as follows

The braintrust that is Valley Regional Guild Party 4 are these guys-

Mason is a Goblin who is the party's dedicated Mage and Healer

Rin is a Slime who operates as party Tank- plays drums for a Ska band on the weekends

Cammy is a Kobold is an Artificer with a degree in Alchemical Engineering

And Utah is a Mothman who is a skilled Marksman with a background in Park Service

As a group they're generalist mid level adventurers, decently experienced- usually taking jobs for things like Dungeon Survey or Fae Negotiations

Day 3. Silence

So today's silly of the day is The Rake!!

I had planned from the start that for this prompt I wanted some theme of an "interrupted silence". As in you try to escape as stealthy as you can but you end up making noise and getting caught anyway.

The hard part of this was choosing the character. Boy did I have a hard time with it. But at the end I chose The Rake, and lucky for you I have stuff to say about him.

So for my AU I want to go for a more "traditional" take with him using cryptids and local leyends like Moth Man or The Sasquatch. With people that claimed they've seen him, groups trying to hunt him down and a whole Subreddit dedicated to his sightings.

The Rake is known as this humanoid monster that roams the Appalachian Mountains and is the cause of many disappearances of people and animals alike. His origins are unknown even for beings like Slenderman. People theorize that he's a man that has gone for so long without civilization that became a savage creature, he's a demon or an evil spirit, he was a human experiment.

So this is the third piece of Creeptober, like I said I had a hard time deciding the protagonist of today and so I also had a hard time with the rest of the process. When I thought I was finished with the colors I noticed that the background felt too empty and didn't know what to do about it, so I ended up just doing some random shapes so it looked like The Rake is hiding behind some bushes or something(? Idk

Nothing that would really explain his existence, like all the other supernatural leyends that infest the famous mountains. Which are also a Rabbit Hole I'd like to dive deeper in my AU, but maybe another day

The people in Selcouth Valley are a pleasant sort, the kind of small town where everyone does actually know everyone. It's got its quirks of course, like the fact that the entire town lives in the same neighborhood of near identical cheerful well maintained houses and on Tuesdays the power always shuts off for a few hours and there's never a good signal.

But it makes up for that with its sense of community, the neighborhood barbecues, the cozy atmosphere, the near zero crime rate. So of course (your character), looking for a fresh start moves in. And of course, she feels like she has finally found a home.

And well ... her next door neighbor mows his lawn shirtless and might be the closest thing to a Grecian God she has ever seen. (My character) on top of being attractive is polite, charismatic, and funny. The community seems to look up to him as some sort of leader.

And he seems to have an interest in her! It might be too good to be true.

It is.

What's that expression -- the hills are watching? Or is it the hills are alive?

The tone for this RP is very much Uncanny Valley, Welcome to Nightvale, cryptids, and cults. This can be as light hearted or a gritty as you would like. I'm also a fan of involving a child character into this plot possibly on either side for yours or my character.

The relationship between our characters can be one of genuine love or conman manipulation. I have no triggers and so I'm open to working with whatever you have in mind.

Some of the general tones or topics I personally enjoy are psychological manipulation, romanticized cannibalism, and cryptid worship, but these are optional. I really want this to have an unnerving edge to it.

I'm still fairly new to RP on tumblr, but have over a decade of experience in general! Feel free to check out my CAARD for my rules, about me, and a writing sample.

from what i can see, all the DD corpses have been gutted. removing the core is probably the best way to neutralize a DD permanently, considering Eldritch J hasn't shown up again (i swear if i jinxed it with this i will react in a normal, very hinged manner)

Star Rail OC posting. Grahm is gnawing away at my brain like a termite so I made his Ult splash because I had to or I would die. His Ult splash is Penacony backrooms themed because his radio station is in the backrooms somewhere.

He's a pathstrider of propagation pretending to be on the Path of Harmony, because I'm obsessed with what characters who follow the non playable paths would look like. This one is his Harmony design. I'll maybe do his Propagation form one day.

He runs an anonymous radio show that talks about cryptids and unexplained mysteries and conspiracy theories people talk about around penacony. If asks he claims his radio show exists to give people with common interests or similar spooky experiences a place to feel seen (Harmony). In truth the more people who think and talk about a thing the said the more it will have a physical affect on the world (Propagation) and he thinks that's funny.

In harmony mode he's a dedicated debuff cleanser who attaches his own stats to other characters attacks and wants to rapidly Regen Energy mechanics wise.

I've made full mechanics and abilities for this guy. I losing my mind. Let me off the space train's wild ride.
