What is your favorite game? :)

I love gacha games, I played several of them, but I definitely love Twisted Wonderland, like, I love old Disney animations, especially for the music, so this game mixes everything I like, I just love it (even though I've taken a break lately).

By the way, Malleus (this character) is my favorite.

1. Thicker Than Water - My very first adventure into the world of fanfic. It’s a reader x Astarion story that focuses on Tav and Astarion after they’ve defeated the Netherbrain. Surprise, surprise, they become parents and. You would think that would be the most difficult of their troubles but there’s far worse out there than having a child. I love this fic more than anything

2. Hellbound and Heaven-sent - The sequel to Thicker Than Water. It focuses on Juniper, the daughter of Astarion and Tav. She’s a troubled person, but seeks redemption of her various wrongdoings with the help of her friends, her frenemy, and Cal Dekarios, the adopted son of Gale who has grown up with Juniper and been by her side since the beginning.

3. Roasted - A modern AU Bloodweave fic. Astarion is a barista striving to make it in the modeling world. Gale is a bestselling author attempting to write a hit sequel. They meet one dreary day in a bookstore and from then on, love and drama ensue. This fic has me in a chokehold like no other. I love these boys.

4. Swamps and Soirées - My newest WIP. Constance is an archfey warlock. Raised in swamplands under the hands of hags and her patron, Baba Yaga, she’s hidden from the outside world. That is until Gale Dekarios asks her to attend a ceremony with him to celebrate the Absolute’s defeat. It’s a twist on a Cinderella story and our swamp girlie deserves some love too.

5. The Mess Series - It’s smutty, it’s raunchy, it’s Tav x Bloodweave and they’re having a lot of fun with each other. This started out as one and become a three parter. Astarion, Gale, and Tav each have their own part and it was a blast to write.

I love the "fuck it I'll make myself a god, goddamnit! (me-damnit?)" thing. That's great and cracked me up. The being a moving rotting creature thing is freaky! Will she eventually only be a skeleton and ambition?

My ramble: We slow-build details about the Anthropophagi in Sunset, not really getting into the meat of it (pun intended) until Volume 2, so I'm going to put a bare-bones ramble under the cut.

There are only two types of supernatural beings in Sunset: knacked people who are people born (or genetically engineered) with superhuman powers like telepathy etc, and the Anthropophagi.

When building the Phagi for Sunset, my co-writer and I essentially tried to put stressful elements of vampires, zombies, and werewolves all into one creature.

Phagi used to be regular people who were infected by a Phage and have become something else.

Top Pros: *You gain strength, durability, and healing *You become functionally immortal unless killed

Top Cons: *You can no longer be called alive *You will consume only human flesh and blood

That said, they are hard to pick out from the crowd. They're paler in general, but they don't have fangs or claws or rotting pieces.

In the story as a whole, there are a fair number of Phagi in Sunset, including the head of the organization Entropy Games Inc, an antagonistic group made up of knacked people, Phagi, and humans. (Our Big Bad)

SolCorp (the largest organization of knacked people) describes Phagi in their handbook as similar to having been infected with rabies and prefers to ignore their gory existence as much as possible. (Our Main Group)

The third faction in Sunset is The Children of God (The Church for short), a multi-denominational, loose confederation of knacked people of all faiths with a mission to wipe the Phagi off the face of the earth. (My Co-Writer's Fave)

I was determined to use the drawing tablet to finally draw something, so i doodled this last night:-

hahaha.. I can't help but think that their fight is a liiiittle bit similar to that one concept in Naruto where Naruto and Sasuke attempt to understand eachother's feelings through their fists, hence Gojo was able to recognize Sukuna's loneliness and inability to understand love, and tried his best to convey his own emotions to Sukuna through the fight.

But on a more comedic note, Gojo has a thing for people who are able to kill him, and Sukuna's out here irritated, annoyed, and quite frankly, a little confused with the recent trend of people's obsession with trynna teach him about love. (Maybe he has made a mistake incarnating into this timeline????)

FFS the man is currently trapped within Yuta's ""True Mutual Love ❤"" Domain atm, its February and i think the next chapter's physical copy is releasing on Valentine's Day, whats with all of this symbolism!!!?!!

Thinking about ur 'Christians are fucked' posts for PJO and this is actually brought up in the sister series Magnus Chase. One of the characters is Muslim and just goes "yeah I can make this work" AND SHE DOES

To be fair, I don't think every Christian is theologically fucked if they find out their parent's a Greek god; the Christian Unitarian Universalists I know, for instance, have a level of theological chill I can only envy. You could walk up to them and invite them to a Flying Spaghetti Monster luncheon and they'd thank you for giving them the chance to explore new horizons lmao! Likewise, there are non-strict Christians who do their own things, lapsed Christians who are exploring their own way of moving forward, Christopagans who untie knots I can't even see head nor ass of, etc etc.

Specifically, the most fucked people would be hardcore monotheists: Catholics, probably, and highly conservative Christians whose theology only allows for a singly, omnipotent God. Because, like...fuck. There's a Greek god. That guy made you. That's not a saint, it's not Jesus...these aren't miracles. It's literally just a divine expression of power, in a world where you thought there was only the one, singular God. What the Fuck™

Yeah, everyone has their own views on the nature of divinity and its ability to affect the natural world, but if your thinking is limited to "there is only One holy Guy for literally everyone and everyone," you're going to struggle between a hard place of "completely inflexible thinking" and a rock-hard "absolute proof of another religion being right, or at least somewhat present in the world" lol.
