JOY!!!! It should be a daily part of our lives! But we have to choose it! With everything going on around us, the erasure of the identities of anyone who isn't a cishet white male, I chose joy last night and it was easy to do! Bey finally getting Album of the year, Kenny getting every grammy that he was nominated for (ONE TWO THREE FOUR 5 PLUS 5!!) AND the super bowl halftime show will continue this joy-filled start to Black history month. Black joy is magical, it is human, it is divine, it is culture, it is medicine, it is all things.

And friend, that is NEVER weird. Let's keep spreading kindness, let's keep validating and SEEING each other in moments that may seem small, but I can tell you, as someone who doesn't even watch award shows (I was following the live tweets), the laughter and the smiles, the reactions and the joy was the first I'd experienced this year.

Omg, 2k huh? I almost can't believe it's real. At the start of the month I had 40 ish followers, some of my drawings got 8 to 10 notes and that was that. Then one day I was stuck trying to write something for Path to Dreamland and my friend told me to try and write something simple to see if I get any ideas. That's how I came up with the first catgirl scientist comic (which is actually the bonus for the first one I published). So thank you, to my friend, to these idiots that I've drawing almost everyday and thanks to every single one of you <3

husband!gojo who can't stand being away from you for so long. he's on his day off and he makes sure to spend every single second close to you just so he can admire you and whisper praises in your ear.

husband!gojo who takes you out on dessert dates. whether it be ice-cream, cake, milkshakes, whatever mood the both of you seems to be in. he stares at you with loving eyes while you enjoy the dessert you got and wipes any smudge on your lips or cheek.

husband!gojo who doesn't let you pay for anything. he was not gonna let you send the money that you worked so hard for to buy something that you can get with his money. he shares his personal info with you but does not wanna hear about yours. and he always insists you use his card otherwise, you'll be arguing infront of the cashier for more than ten minutes until you finally give in.

husband!gojo who's known to be someone who never shuts the fuck up and interrupts people when they're talking but not when it comes to you. he could just listen to you talk for hours on end because he just lives your voice and is genuinely interested with what you're saying. he also hates it when someone else interrupts you and so speaks up for you.

husband!gojo who loves posting pictures of you on the daily. be it pictures he took of you or selfies you sent with captions like "isn't my wife just so beautiful", and it could be a picture of you drooling in your sleep. but when he reads the comments and finds some creepy guys saying inappropriate things, he's gonna let them know just who they're dealing with.

husband!gojo who comes up with the dumbest nicknames to give because he thought they were cute when he's literally calling you "his cute little drooler" and "his sweet scumdilly yumyum cupcake" but he often times calls you "baby" or "princess" if he's not in a very silly mood.

husband!gojo who showers you with gifts when he returns from long work trips because he believes that you deserve the best. but when you tell him, that the greatest gift he has ever given you was coming back to you without fail, he has tears in his eyes as his heart swells and pulls you into a big hug and says, " i'll always come back to you love... always"

Extras compilation for anime only viewers

I decided to make a compilation of all extra comics and material that is safe to read and here is the first part of that. “By safe to read” I mean stuff that don’t have spoiler or is not too closely connected to stuff that will be shown in Season 2. That means most of it are more fun stuff featuring the characters, backstory for some minor character and small expansions on the backstories that already featured in season 1. Most of it was published after chapter 52 (season 1’s stopping point), but I made sure to check none of it is spoiler despite that.

Part 2; Part 3; Monster tidbits 1 and 2.

This first part features the main gang.

There it is, all non spoiler extra material about the main characters I could find. Well, the ones with some narrative content, Kui makes too many random illustration for me to shuffle through, at least for now. Hopefully I didn’t miss anything. I hope it is interesting or useful for someone. Next it should be the other characters, hopefully it will be a bit easier.

It's always weird to me when people claim Dick stole from his brothers when he came first. You can't steal from a character that doesn't exist yet.

Dick throughout his introduction to the end of NTT was the originator of all those skills because no duh he's the first. And if you wanna say he stole them then he honestly just stole them back from his siblings stealing from him.

It makes me laugh a lot that whenever references are made to certain qualities of Dick that his other brothers also have, there is no shortage of people who say that "they are giving him qualities of *insert random sibling* to praise Dick".

Dude, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but actually, a lot of those abilities were first Dick's and then they were given to other batkids, shit, even his friends and partners were passed on to his siblings-

In one fic does it say that Dick writes or something related to his stories about Batman and Robin? "That was Jason, not Dick."

Someone makes a HC of Dick drawing? "That's not Dick, the artist is Damian."

Eh... Dick was literally a writer and (if I'm not wrong) even a comic book illustrator in a canonical way, using his adventures with Batman as a reference-

Same when they say that only Jason was the star student... No, Dick was ALWAYS a star student, outstanding and quite dedicated too. The only thing they were not alike in was that Dick was not a total lover of literature, but that does not mean that he did not read, he did, he even read things that were advanced for his age, and he also makes references to readings, showing that, in fact, he also read... He's just more about movement than staying still and reading.

"In YJ they gave Tim's skills to Dick".

The suit maybe, but the abilities? First they were Dick's, then they were given to Tim.

Dick was always an excellent detective, only more intuitive than methodical, but he was always the best behind Batman, at times even on par.

And he's always been a very competent hacker, too. Yes, not on Barbara's level, but he was always pretty good with technology.

"Him not getting crushed by Cass is so ooc".

No? Dick was always an excellent fighter. Again, he uses a very different style than other members of his family, but he was always excellent in fights.

I will never tire of discussing these things. I understand that many things nowadays are not shown much anymore, since the writers focus more on his leadership ability than detective skills, and it is also obvious that not everyone will want to read all the comics, there are too many- I haven't even read them all and I don't plan to, it's a hobby, not my life- lol

But yes, I'm still going to always say this, that his "brothers' abilities" are actually Dick's, and that does NOT mean that his siblings don't have them too, they just aren't the only ones.

Hello! This is the reason why I haven't been able to post Dol fan art for a while! I was very late because I was working at the same time. Of course, my drawing speed was very slow too…!

Those of you who have subscribed to my Twitter account have already seen this! I wanted to convey the content better, so I asked someone who is good at English to translate it. As soon as I received the results, I quickly edited the dialogue! Thank you to the kind @ CmJejen!

The theme was Sydney and Ivy's (Ivy is my PC!) first meeting, but somehow I ended up drawing a scene where the two check each other's feelings. Based on the in-game script, I adapted some parts to fit my PC's narrative and personality. I also included my friends' PCs this time. They are quite noticeable in the serious scenes, which is amusing. I like it!

I prepared hard with as much love as I have for Dol. I learned a lot from this work. I hope you enjoy it:///3

10 Years, Every Day! - 240405

As of today, it has been exactly 10 years since I started creating and sharing a 3D animated GIF artwork every single day!

I originally began learning 3D and making GIFs after being inspired by many of the digital artists I had started to find on Tumblr back in 2013. When I decided to start making a GIF every day in April 2014, with very little prior art experience, I never could have imagined that I would still be here doing it 10 years later.

I'm incredibly grateful for everyone who has stuck around and supported my work in any way over the last decade. Likewise, I also have to thank everyone I've had the chance to work or collaborate with over the duration of this project! This has been a huge learning experience, and I am very proud of how far things have come.

To the best of my knowledge, I am the first artist to complete 10 years of daily GIFs, but I have to give major props to the other artists that I know of who paved the way and passed this milestone before me in their respective mediums: @songadaymann / @catswilleatyou / @beeple / @graebor / @rawandrendered

With that being said, after a lot of contemplation, I have decided that today will mark the completion of my daily GIF project. I have no plans to stop creating and sharing my art, but after 10 years of pushing to have an animation done every single day, it's time for a change of pace.

There are still so many things I want to learn, and now feels like the right time to give myself the room to explore and give it a try.

Being a HEMA fencer, I’ve wanted a story semi-based on actual swordsmanship and actual fencing techniques.. but fantasy.

It’s a story like… Spiderverse meets Steven Universe meets Owl House meets She-Ra.

It’s called

The Knight’s Handbook

It’s modern Earth but there are supernatural people who protect it like guardian angels called Knights: Humans who’ve died via sacrificing themselves for someone else, and have been revived (not by choice). They protect humans from things as small as tripping over to protecting them from demons, dragons and other dangerous entities.

A Knight can pull their weapon from a magical, glowing scar called their Mortal Wound, the injury they acquired and a sign of the end of their mortality, like how SU Gems can pull their weapons from their gems. A Knight’s weapon can be anything including guns and crossbows, but these shoot magic/energy bullets or arrows.

Knights have their own realm to go to just for each other, (Gallantia) but can live on Earth hiding as normal humans if they wish (so long as they hide the magic scar!)

They function a bit like bees in that there is a Queen, chosen instantly when someone dies by sacrifice according to ‘qualifications of their soul’ (So not completely random like other Knights). Of course, this only happens when the former Queen is killed. Never have there been two Queen Knights at once, so written history goes. Like bees, that would create a huge issue!

Here is the main character and the main antagonist. For the first time apparently ever, there are Two Queen Knights. A mistake of nature, perhaps?

Sidra Saiffudeen

Our main enby is Sidra, she/they. A normal teen turned Queen Knight chosen right after her death, impaled through the chest (where you can see her Mortal Wound symbol) by saving her father. Her design is based on a bee! Not all Knights’ designs are, but I thought I’d lean into Queen Bee stuff.

She’s the ‘Acknowledged’ Queen. Most Knights, ones in support of the past Queen who just died (it’s a mournful period), back Sidra, but think she’s a bit immature. Sidra adores her new people though and vows to be a good Queen. Knight Queens don’t just sit back like Earth Royalty, they’re the most powerful and therefore in battle a lot. The past Queens tended to be adults (The Captain of the Royal Guard was in love with the past Queen (sapphics >:) ) and so having Sidra around is painful but they do their best to teach her.

Then there’s Juliana Fontana, always called Jules. She… is also a Queen Knight. You can tell this because a Queen’s mortal wound symbol is always the same as the Knight Symbol, a sword. Some Knights went traitor to back Jules rather than Sidra. Jules is a very very tired and sneaky girl, but more academically intelligent than Sidra. She’d be a very different Queen, and that’s why the Knights that took her side did so! She hasn’t figured out how to access her weapon or knight form.

The twist? They haven’t seen each other for a long long time… but Sidra and Jules know each other.

Lastly, The Title’s “The Knight’s Handbook”… what are Knight Handbooks?

Well, for Knights, along with a weapon you can pull from your Mortal Wound, you also have your Handbook! Every Knight has a Handbook with their symbol on it. Like I said, Queen Knights don’t get their own unique personalised symbol, rather they get the default symbol representing all Knights as a species (unfortunate!).

Every Handbook is personalised except for the first couple pages and chapters. The first few pages *always* contain The Rules of Knighthood. One of which is that there Cannot Be Two Queens. But… have these Handbooks with their strict rules on who your friends and enemies are and what you can or cannot do always been a part of the Knights? Or did someone *write* these books for their own purposes? Control?

Handbooks also contain info on how to fight/fence, how to defeat certain entities, anatomy, etc (I’ll figure out more). But, Handbooks also serve as phones! You write something in your handbook for someone else and your writings will appear in *their* handbook! Not sure, but I imagine handbooks can also be used as little sketch hologram projectors (you sketch a map for example or a plan and project it into the air using your book.)

Sidra and Jules may have this giant plot going on around them because they happen to be Queens, but that doesn’t mean they’re not teenagers who want to have fun. A lot of Knights are kids and teenagers and still have their senses of fun, much to the dismay of the serious adult Knights. But they’re all immortal so they’ve got plenty of time to grow up before they hit an age to stop. Being a Knight is tough and scary cause you *could* die at any time in a fight, so adult Knights tend to protect the teens from going out before they’ve trained properly. Queens are not afforded such a luxury and besides, a lot of teen Knights are totally reckless regardless of what the adults say!

So yeah!

That’s an intro to The Knight’s Handbook. I’d love for people to join in like they did with GunnTech and make their own Knights for this, if you feel inspired. It’s kinda like a DTIYS but instead of Draw This In Your Style, it’s… Draw Your Sona for this concept? Working title… /j If you wanna do something, I suppose tag it with “The Knight’s Handbook” with the apostrophe and whatnot, but I do not expect anything, you guys already do so so much 🧡.

Any art or ocs of The Knight’s Handbook will definitely be featured on my next YT vid and I’ll be reblogging (Plus I would love to draw you guys’ ocs, and basically consider them canon since there’s an infinite number of Knights in TKH!)
