WIP Friday~! I’m hoping for some Adventures in Babysitting 2...?
*clears throat*
Sooooooooooooooooooo
Have a snippet of AiBS2 whenever I get around to it...
Ron hung from the banister, with all the strength he could muster. He made the mistake of glancing down and let the nervous chuckle escape his mouth at the image one might see on the security camera. A man dangling over the fossilized structure of Tyrannosaurus Rex with its mouth open as if waiting for him to fall. The sound of yelling in the distance as the beam holding the second story walkway began to give.
Of all the times to not have a grappling hook!
“Are you kidding me,” Ron tried his best to swing his leg up but was obstructed.
His eyes shot open as he realized what was obstructing him. The ever silent and peaceful baby strapped to his chest seemed to wake at his own realization. Ron mentally calculated his far as gaining him a few mild injuries given he avoided his head, but the panic running through him at forgetting he was carrying an infant sunk in hard.
“A little help would be nice!” yelled Ron as he could see people still running across the structure, which was straining.
He looked down, desperately trying to see where to fall if he had too, but to no avail. He recalculated his own injuries at realizing the metal wires woven in the structure to support it and as the platform began to strain... if he managed to fall perfectly, no doubt the platform would crush them.
“You know. I am really starting to loath Joss,” hissed Ron as he felt his muscles strain as he tried again to pull himself up.
He was making leeway when the platform finally gave, and in a last ditch effort he pushed off, attempting to get as much distance between if falling on him as possible. As luck would have it, with a jolt of pain to his back, he was frozen in the air as the structure fell. He glanced back behind him to see he had missed the wires completely, only for his belt to have hooked onto the tooth of the wired dinosaur.
“Kim's Anniversary gift, strikes again!” cheered Ron. It turned into a scream as he slid to his side.
Ron let out a deep sigh of frustration as he now hung upside down, his feet now locked around his belt that still held him in the air. The memory montage playing in his head from all the years he'd been in similar situations while in high school and a few in college.
“How... How do I always manage to loose my pants,” he whined. There was a gurgling giggle in front of him and he looked at the cooing content infant, “It's not funny, Drake--”
“Ron! You're okay!” he looked down to see the figures of Athena and Val racing over the destruction below, “Pfft, nice underwear.”
“Thank you Val,” Ron rolled his eyes, “Mind getting someone to help me-- Athena put down that camera!”
Ron yelled as Athena held up his own phone.
“Too late, I already sent it,” snickered Athena, “... does All mean the whole phone or just a group?”
“I blame Joss for this,” muttered Ron under his breath.

Chapter 10 of A Rockwaller Christmas Carol
Chapter 10 - The Second of the Three Spirits - Part III
FFnet link: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/14005722/10/A-Rockwaller-Christmas-Carol
(AN: Special thanks to @gothicthundra for letting me to use her Drakgo kids (and pet velociraptor) and also for some chaotic ideas as well!)
The next place that Bonnie fixed her teal eyes on was a more upper-middle class house that cost around $800,000. It had five bathrooms, six baths, a wet bar, a swimming pool, and a guesthouse on the premises.
Bonnie and the Spirit Brick were standing on the driveway.
"Spirit, whose house is this?" Bonnie asked.
"I think your answer is on that mailbox, Bonnie!" the Spirit Brick replied, pointing to the snow-covered mailbox.
Bonnie dusted off the cover of the mailbox, and the name of it was revealed to her.
The Possible-Stoppables
She recoiled in fear.
"Spirit...should we move to another house?" Bonnie asked, "I don't think we should legally be on here!"
"Bonnie, do you want to be redeemed or not?" the Spirit Brick boomed his voice.
"Yes...but Kim has a restraining order against me!" Bonnie exclaimed, "I could get arrested again and I don't wanna spend time at Club Fed!"
"Bonnie, which part of we-can-see-them-but-they-can't-see-us don't you get?" the Spirit Brick asked.
"I guess the order doesn't affect ghosts, so lead away, Spirit!" Bonnie insisted, knowing of a loophole in the legal system.
Bonnie and the Spirit Brick came up to the light in the window of their den.
They saw the Possible-Stoppable kids along with the Lipsky kids as well. Justin was now eight years old, followed by Alexa, whom was five. The next to come from downstairs were the Lipsky children. Both Valerie and Athena were 11 years old while Drake was eight. And in the middle of the den was Spike, the Lipsky's pet velociraptor, being decorated with tinsel and ornaments.
"Hey, Athena, can you help me out throwing some more tinsel?" Val asked Athena.
"Sure can, sis!" Athena replied, tossing some tinsel around Spike.
"And can you put that ornament on his tail?" Val also suggested, pointing to Spike's tail.
"I don't see why not!" Athena said with a smile, putting a blue-and-green ornament on Spike's tail. Alexa also put on a couple more lights around Spike as well as well as some tree shreddings on his body. Rufus then appeared as an angel on the top of Spike's head.
In the meantime, Justin and Drake were both playing Chutes and Ladders in which any time the opponent moved down, they would receive a mild shock.
"Drake, can't you play a normal game without applying a little electricity to it?" Sheila chided.
"Aww...Mom! I wanna play with Justin!" Drake complained.
Spike, after Alexa put the lights on him, began to walk around the living room, whipping his tail along the den, even knocking over the tree.
Bonnie looked at this with mild amusement, even chuckling a little.
"Those kids are crazy like that sometimes!" she laughed. "When do Possible and Stoppable come on down?"
"Just watch..." the Spirit Brick insisted.
Kim and Ron came downstairs and Drew came from the kitchen. The Possible-Stoppable parents were still in warmups and t-shirts. Kim's hairs were in curlers.
"Drew, can you take Spike outside so that he can do his business?" Kim asked.
"I can certainly try the front without the neighbors trying to give me funny looks." Drew said as he grabbed Spike's leash. He led Spike, decorations and all, to the front door. Spike had to duck under to avoid hitting the door frame.
Ron lifted up the Christmas tree and asked, "So when do you think your 'rents will be here, KPS?"
"They should be here sometime at 6pm! So we need to get ready in an hour!" Kim exclaimed. "I'll get my black faux leather overalls ready!"
"And um...uhhh...I'll try to put something together!" Ron replied.
They then went upstairs to the master bedroom.
"Just don't wear the Christmas suit that you wore last year, Ron." Kim countered, "You nearly showed off your yule log and chestnuts when you went down the stairs."
"That was a mistake that the delivery man made in mistaking my size...and I forgot my underpants." Ron chuckled a little.
"I'll have to get my jewelry!" Kim said, "Oh...and I am going to do something a little different this year for Christmas, Ron."
"What do ya mean, KPS?" Ron asked with a smile on his face. "We do some of the traditional stuff we've carried on from your fam from the eggnog to the Possible-Stoppable Christmas Skit to singing carols. Me and Rufus even wrapped up your presents and stuffed your stocking on the fireplace."
"Yes, that is well and good but I was thinking of something a little less...materialistic." Kim replied as she sat on the master bed. "For this Christmas, 2020, I want to...forgive Bonnie..."
These two words took Ron and Rufus by surprise.
"You...you mean...?" Ron questioned.
"Yes, Ron. More than any gift I can get!" Kim replied, "The greatest gift I want for Christmas this year is to bury the hatchet with Bonnie."
"Wow...umm..." Ron stammered, struggling to find the words to respond to his wife's statement.
"How did you come up with this decision?"
"The reason is that it has been inside of me since the time me and Bonnie were stuck to Dementor with that Bondo-Ball of his..." Kim said, recalling of the incident in junior year.
"Yeah, I remember me and Barkin being stuck like that for that for four days." Ron muttered, "I still cannot get the grass stains out of my mouth from him playing rugby."
But Kim continued, "The point is that I have held that memory in for so long that it had to come out sooner or later."
"Even after all the horrible things she had done over the years in trying to humiliate the both of us, you want to forgive her?" Ron questioned.
Kim took a deep breath and nodded her head.
"The reason why she has been like this over the years was that she did not have a good family life." she explained, "Especially from her two unsupportive sisters that destroyed her fam in the end, Connie and Lonnie. I really did wish I would've welcomed her into my home instead of rejecting and laughing at her at Senior Prom when her $7,000 dress got covered in dark red sticky slime and black ink when that prank backfired on her. It was all due to pressure from her sisters, plus the divorce was very messy and ugly as well on her..."
"Frankly..." Kim continued, "...I did like that good side to her. I just want for her to return the same feelings to the both of us as well for this Christmas."
"KPS, the odds of that happening are approximately 3,720 to 1!" Ron exclaimed.
"Ron..." Kim muttered, raising her eyebrow.
Ron quickly recovered from a one-way-trip to the couch and said, "But as your husband, significant other, and best friend all rolled into one, I support your decision in trying to reach out to Bon-Bon."
"Thank you for that quick recovery, Ron!" Kim smirked. "And can you please use Bonnie's name from now on? That joke has outworn its welcome!"
"And truth be told, Kim...I'm feeling the same way as well." Ron added, coming to the same realization of his wife from deep down in his heart. "I believe that deep down, I too am ready to forgive Bonnie for all the mean things she has said and done to me. Since, you know, it's the Christmas season and all. We're both willing to break bread with her if we can give her a chance."
"That's what I would like to hear from your mouth!" Kim replied, combing her hand through Ron's hair. "I'll call the judge right now to remove the restraining order for Bonnie."
Bonnie witnessed all of this with the Spirit Brick. She had tears in her eyes upon hearing what Kim said.
"Spirit...I wish if I had been nicer to Kim and not faking it in middle school with all that BS about cheerleaders..." she whimpered, wiping away her eyes with the sleeves of her pajamas. "I just want my old mean Queen B self to die..."
"See, Bonnie, Kim and Ron are willing to open the doors to their house to you." the Spirit Brick replied.'
"Yeah...I just wanna be a better human being and not treat people like shit..." Bonnie sighed, sniffling away as she saw her own reflection on a sheet of ice, "...just like what I did with Tara..."
"And you are discovering something...on the inside!" the Spirit Brick added, pointing to Bonnie's heart.
"If you don't mind, Spirit, can you take me to another house?" Bonnie asked for a request.
"Of course, Bonnie! Grab my robe again!" the Spirit Brick said, accepting the request.
Bonnie grabbed the Spirit Brick's robe again and they were transported.

Emails Through Family Part 1.
NOTES: Another prompt by the lovely @disneyevilprincessblog  There will be another part, part 2!  If ya got more Drakgo or Villainstafam prompts send them my way, more than happy to write them!
Hope you guys enjoy it!
Athena only met one of her grandparents, which was Drakken’s mom. Nana Lipsky was dotting on Athena and later on Eric, her two precious grandchildren she would say pinching their cheeks. But Shego’s parents, let alone family was a mystery that Athena was scared to ask about.
The information that Athena picked up on Shego’s past was as followed: She was half Mexican on her mom’s side and half caucasian on her dad’s side. She spoke pretty fluent Spanish, could understand it fairly well considering the villainess watched Mexican Telenovelas once or twice while drinking beer on the couch while Drakken worked on another machine for world domination. That was all that Athena knew about the woman’s past, that was until an email helped her out.
When Athena gets bored, she likes to sometimes snoop around either Drakken’s or Shego’s email accounts. Today, it was Shego’s account, scrolling through old emails until a ping announced that one new email came through. Curious, Athena clicked on it.
Subject: Don’t delete!
Sasha, it’s Wesley. Yeah, I know I shouldn’t be contacting you since you never send a reply. I wish you would, at least let me come over and see you. Well, let’s see what new things are happening since you left home.
Mami is fighting with Mrs. Rojas again. And yes, Mrs. Rojas is still alive and still the reincarnation of La Llorona. Papi is currently doing a new gardening project for the backyard, I’ll be helping him out and try to rope in Miles to help as well. They still keep your room the same, changed it a bit but otherwise still the same obnoxious color, grey with the black and white curtains. Still, don’t know why you decided on that color....
Mami and Papi are still holding out hope that you’ll talk to them. They miss you. Miles is deflecting answering any questions about you, I think it’s better for him to not think about you, at least that’s my vibe from him. Henry... You know Henry, making a name for himself as GO City’s new crime fighter and CEO. Don’t know how his big ass head can fit through any doorframes ha ha ha. As for your little and favorite (don’t roll your eyes, you know it’s true!) I’m currently pursuing a career as a writer, hammering out my novel. Can’t tell you what it is, gotta keep it a secret hermana.
I wish you’d at least send a hello. Talk to you again soon.
Tu hermanito,
Wes Go
Athena was very glad that Eric was taking a nap because if he found her reading Shego’ s emails, the little boy would no doubt be snitching on her already. Mama’s boy, She thought.
Hermana? Hermano? She searched it up on google translate and put pieces together.
This was Shego’s brother! Younger brother, no less!
Her name was Sasha? Sasha! If only Athena could call her that in person but she knew that the woman would try to melt her metallic face off. She wanted to know more, so did something that might be considered stupid and bold.
Athena answered the email.
Hi! This is Athena. I’m your niece, Sasha’s daughter. It’s a lot to take in, I know but if you want to talk more and without me getting in trouble my email is [email protected], I’ll be more than happy to answer everything! Oh and don’t reply back to her once you are done reading this, just use mine!
-Athena Lipsky
She clicked send and waited for him to reply.
He replied a few minutes later, a notification showing up on her phone. She was glad she deleted the email that Wes sent on Shego’s computer before she got back.
Eagerly, Athena opened it up.
Subject: Niece???
Wow... so my sis is your mom! Didn’t even know she gave birth to a kid!? So did your mom Elop with your dad? How old are you? I’m still surprised! Why don’t we meet? I’d like to meet my niece! Maybe I can take you to see your grandparents! Do you even know who your grandparents are? Has your mom even told you about who she is and her family? Probably not, knowing my sister. Let me know when you’d like to meet face-to-face, I’m fine talking through emails kid.
Your Tio,
Wes Go :)
This was crazy but she wanted to know more. So, Athena continued to chat with her Tio Wes, as she called him. Shego and Drakken merely thought Athena was chatting with her friends, not knowing the full truth.
She finally met her Tio, when they decided to meet face-to-face at the lair. He wanted to meet her while also wanting to finally face Shego. Athena agreed, she was nervous at first but Wes told her, “I’ll take the fall kid, don’t worry.”
The day it came, Athena let Wes into the lair, greeting him with a hug.
The man was around a couple feet taller than Shego, maybe the exact height as Drakken but Athena wasn’t sure. He had some facial similarities like Shego, the same bone structure for their faces, eye colors, and straight hair. Only Wes’ hair was a brown color unlike Shego’s who had dark coloring for her hair, almost black.
“Hey!” He hugged her before Athena let him inside. He wore a red leather jacket, black t-shirt with Nirvana on the front, blue jeans and converse. His hair was cut short, his wavy hair prominent. Athena thought that it made him look a bit badass.
“Who is it?”  Shego’s voice announced her presence, sounding annoyed at whoever Athena let in. Turning the corner she stopped, looking at the two figures who were walking towards her. Eric, who was behind Shego carried by Drakken stopped to look at the people.
“What are you doing here?” She said in a low voice that probably no one could hear. Except for the other super-powered person in the room. Wes smiled sadly as if he knew this would be the initial reaction to this surprise. “What? Can’t an uncle get to know his niece and nephew?” He said in an innocent voice, one that he knew his sister hated.
Shego’s eyes narrowed as she looked at Athena. She was going to explain everything to her... right after Shego explained this to Drakken and Eric.
Wes sat at the table, with a glass of water while the small family was holed up in the kitchen. Shego was hunched over the sink, trying to wrap her mind over the fact that her baby brother was in her home.
“Why did you let him in here?” She asked Athena without turning around. Silence enveloped him as she waited for an answer. “I just wanted to know about your life.” was the answer Athena mumbled.
“So he’s your brother,” Drakken asked as he balanced Eric on his hip. “My younger brother. I have two older brothers, Henry and my twin Miles.”
She heard Drakken mutter, “There’s a male version of you?” Before dramatically shuddering drawing a giggle from the kids. Shego rolled her eyes.
“Anything else that I should know about you?” Drakken said. Athena piped up, a smile on her face. “Her name is Sasha.”
Her hands flared with green flames as she pivoted on her heel to face the three people. Drakken had a small smirk on his face. “Sasha? Pretty name.” He said, knowing full well he’ll call her that later. Shego grounded her molars before walking past them to face Wes. She told them to stay put, even as Athena tried to protest, she silenced her with a look before going to where her brother was.
She joined him at the table, sitting down in front of him.
“So,” Wes said. “You have kids. I’m guessing they aren’t baptized?” Shego snorted.”So, I’m guessing you got old.” Her little brother grinned as if telling her,  guilty as charged.
“No, they aren’t and probably never will.” She said making Wes look at her with mock-horror. “Whatever happened to the goody-two-shoes of the family? The altar girl, Sasha Roberta Go?” He said in a sing-songy voice.
“Oh please, as if I was the only kid in the family that did the altar job, Wesley. I remember you complaining to Mami about not wanting to show up to that wedding once.” She shot back at her brother before realizing that Wes gave them her full name, out loud for the two people in the kitchen who were wide awake to hear. She hoped Eric was asleep.
Fuck.
“Your middle name is Roberta? Sasha Roberta Go?” Drakken practically cackled loudly from the kitchen along with Athena suppressing a giggle. “And I thought my middle name sounded old, ah!”
“It still does compare to mine, Drew Stephen Lipsky.” She snarkily shouted to the older man.
Silence took over both siblings, as Shego realized how grown-up her baby brother looked. How old was he now? She thought and felt a pang of guilt at not keeping up with his birthday, let alone life. Wes smiled at her, the boyish look on his face that she recognized.
“You don’t answer my emails. Took a kid, your kid by the way and finally get to see you after what? How many years has it been since we’ve seen each other?” Shego could tell there were hints of sadness and frustration that was bubbling underneath. She didn’t blame him. “Do you know how hurt Mama and Papa were after you left? We thought you were kidnapped or...” He paused, not wanting to tell her, “or died” was the underlining, unspoken word.
“Wes,” She began. “I just-I couldn’t be a part of this anymore. Be a team, Henry looming over each of us and wanting to be committed to this life while the other one is passing by? I was done and so I rebelled!”
“So, you decided to turn to a life of crime instead?” He said incredulously. It dawned on Shego that maybe her family may know about what she has been doing ever since she left and for the first time, Shego was truly terrified at what her parent’s reactions may be. “They don’t know. Mami and Papi, they don’t know that you are a criminal. Had to stop them from coming with me to meet their grandkids-”
“Wait a minute.” She hissed at her brother. “They know?!”
“Of course they know! Jesus, Sasha you thought I wasn’t going to tell our parents that their only daughter is alive and has a family? Do you know how much Mami cried when she found out?” He shouted. His body glowing a light hue red, indicating that he was about split into ‘two Wesleys’. He usually did this, when his emotions were high, as all the Go siblings did when that occurred sparking off their powers from the rigid control they maintained. His eyes, the same shade of brown that she had were welling up with tears and truth be told Shego felt a lump in her throat as she pushed it down. “Miles and Henry, I haven’t talked to them with them busy with their lives. Please, Sasha.”
“I don’t know if I can.” It was the unspoken truth that she buried down in her soul ever since she left her family behind. She wiped away the tears that started falling down her cheeks. Wesley hesitantly grabbed her hand. “They hate me, I don’t blame them if they do Wes.”
He shook his head. “No Sasha. It’s not like that, don’t do this to yourself again, don’t isolate yourself.”
Shego let out a shaky breath looking up at Wes. “I can’t go home.”
“Es lo que todos estan diciendo o nomas tu hermana?” He replied in Spanish. Wes got up, the chair loudly scrapping the floor signaling that he was leaving, his eyes angry yet pained as he looked at his older sister. “It’s time for me to go.”
Shego didn’t say anything as Athena and Drakken came out of the kitchen. She didn’t look at them just stared at her brother.
“Your leaving?” Athena sounded disappointed, her face crestfallen. Wes gave her a smile, telling her that he would be around town if she’d like to hang out, which the teen eagerly agreed too. “Maybe all three of us could go hang out?” She looked so hopeful but Wes shook her head, crushing her dreams.
“I don’t think so, Athena. Your mom and I... It’s a bit difficult for us to be in the same room right now.” He said.
Shego spoke up and instantly plunged the knife deeper with her words, “It might be for the best. Adios Wes.”
Since the time she left her siblings that day, Shego hadn’t felt this bad. And for a split moment she could almost hear little Wesley Go crying out her name when she walked out the door.
It rang in her ears like a bell, mocking her. She deserved it anyway.
Shego was laying on the bed when Drakken came in. She made it very clear after her brother left that she wanted to be left alone and that nobody under any circumstance come inside.
Whatever happened between the Go siblings, the talk that they both had, Drakken noted, left Shego rattled.
He quietly made his way over to her noticing another figure sitting on the floor near the bed. Athena sat, looking a bit defeated. He couldn’t blame the poor girl, trying to reunite Shego’s family and learning some backstory to the villainess only for it to backfire. The girl looked up from her moping and gave the scientist a half-hearted smile.
He looked at Shego’s form, everything screaming melancholy. Her dark hair, usually loose was in a messy top bun. She was wearing black leggings and his black AC/DC t-shirt which looked more like a nighttime gown on her. She didn’t acknowledge them, just laid on the bed in silence with her eyes screwed shut.
On her side of the bed, played music from her phone. Some old eighties Spanish song. He had no idea what they were saying, noticing how Shego’s fingers tapped to the tempo on the bed.
“It’s my fault isn’t it?” Athena said, picking at her jeans. Drakken patted her knee in sympathy. “I just thought that they could reunite and I could get to know her a bit better. Guess that was a dumb idea.”
The song continued into the chorus, it sounded like an 80s ballad. He knew it was the eighties because he was familiar with those types of songs from the decade but not Spanish ones like Shego.
Maybe it was one she heard before? He certainly had never heard of the song before.
No soy un reflejo y no es malo lo que siento Mira soy cuestión de tiempo Mírame, sienteme soy de carne y hueso No soy un reflejo hoy, es hoy mi propio vuelo Mira soy cuestión, de tiempo
“No, I say it's brave. Not foolish, I think you even got farther than I did when I tried digging for stuff about her past,” He said to the robot. “So yes, it was brave.”
They stayed in silence until Drakken broke it. “Do you know what song this is? Who sang it?”
Athena shook her head. “No.”
“It’s Timbiriche,” Shego’s voice startled them. She moved around the bed and was now sitting up, her legs dangling over the bed next to Drakken. She was sitting up, strands of dark hair covered her face and when she spoke her voice sounded scratchy as if Shego had stopped herself from crying. But that wouldn’t be correct when noticing her face, her eyes were a bit puffy and reddish. Neither Athena nor Drakken commented on that in fear that she would scream at them or worse.
“What’s a Timbiriche?” Athena asked. Shego sniffed. “It was a band from the early eighties in Mexico, my mom played their songs a lot when I was growing up.”
She went quiet once again as the song continued playing.
Shego seemed to be lost in her thoughts, tapping her fingers to the rhythm of the song that was playing on her thigh.
“I’m sorry,” Athena said to the older woman. “ It’s okay Athena. Maybe it was for the best, me and my siblings-we haven’t contacted each other for obvious reasons.”
“Which are?” Drakken asked.
“Trying not to kill each other, but that’s only the older siblings. But I guess I can add Wes to that list of fractured relationships now.” SHe chuckled.
Athena spoke up, turning to face Shego. “It doesn’t have to be. Maybe you guys can sit down again, talk things through. You seem to care about him and you seemed to miss everyone.” Shego narrowed her eyes. “how did you-?”
Athena grinned rather cheekily. “Robot remember?”
Shego sighed rubbing her face before responding to the offer. “Maybe. But you’ll be coming with me, considering you started this mess in the first place. Can’t believe I’m doing this.”
She really couldn’t but, inside somewhere Sasha Go was still that stubborn goody-two-shoes girl that did love her family no matter how much pain they were and no matter how much she tried to push them away. They would somehow come back to her.
It was an endless cycle with the siblings, one that would come back to Shego no matter how much she fought it. Maybe it was God trying to tell her something? Whoever it was, Shego knew what she had to do.
She just hoped she hadn’t ruined to the point where it would be unfixable.

Wisdom - Drakgo Fic
Shego needs her wisdom teeth removed and Drakken takes care of her.
Very minor lime content.
TAG LIST (based on who interacted with my tag list post. If you were added by mistake or not added at all, please let me know!)

Shego was used to pain. Growing up with brothers usually meant roughhousing. After the comet hit, her pain tolerance only increased. She fought an entire battle with Kim Possible with a broken clavicle and shoulder before she noticed, or rather, Drakken noticed how her arm didn’t look right. She has fallen from great heights, been electrocuted, punched, kicked and stabbed more times than she could count. Yet, she stands.
Luckily, again thanks to the comet, she heals quickly, requiring very minor medical intervention. Usually, she’s back at it in a day or so. All her shoulder and clavicle needed was to be set properly and it was healed by the end of the week.
So, when the back of her gums began to hurt, she ignored it.
For many people, Shego can be mysterious and aloof. After many years of knowing her, Drakken began to see the minor tells she gave away. If she’s upset, she can be found curled up reading the same book, The Awakening by Kate Chopin. He’s probably seen her read it five times, she must have it memorized. When she’s angry and not wanting to express it, the radio in her car would be turned to deafening levels. When she was thinking about her father, she listened to Fleetwood Mac. Shego is a meat and potatoes kind of girl, so when Drakken saw his wife avoiding certain foods, including her very favorite and very dark chocolate bars, he knew something was up.
“Steph, when was the last time you saw a dentist?” Drakken asked as Shego struggled with a bowl of cereal and fruit.
“Last year.” She countered proudly, knowing she had him. You weren’t much of a superhero/villain sidekick/whatever the heck her job description was now if you didn’t take care of yourself.
“Great, then you’re due for a checkup!” Drakken beamed.
“Wait, what? Oh, damnit!” She yelled, banging her fist on the table, the dinnerware clattering. She didn’t have him.
“Make yourself an appointment,” Drakken said kissing her temple.
Shego put it off for a more days before the pain in her gums became just shy of unbearable. Begrudgingly, she scheduled an appointment with her dentist/orthodontist that she had been seeing for years.
~*~
Drakken was in his lab typing up a proposal for GJ to let him build a Hadron Collider, (did he think he would get one? Probably not, but a man can dream) when his phone rang.
“Yello!” He answered, leaning back in his chair.
“Do you have a couple of days you can take off?” It was Shego and she sounded defeated.
Drakken looked over his shoulder at his latest project. He resurrected a Spinosaurus he named Paul and they did not get along. Paul was curled up on a dog bed meant for a Great Dane and happily chewing on what was a shark thirty minutes ago.
“I’ve got some free days. What’s wrong?” Concern laced his voice.
“It’s my wisdom teeth. All four need to be removed. Tomorrow morning. They’re impacted or something. I need someone to take care of me.” Shego struggled with that last bit. She never enjoyed asking for help.
“Of course, you don’t even have to ask.”
“Thanks,” Shego said before she hung up. Drakken wasn’t surprised. It wasn’t often he got the full, ‘love you, bye’ call, especially when she was upset.
That night, as Shego sat at the dining room table, she read her instructions aloud as Drakken prepared dinner.
“‘For the sedation, you need to be fasting.” She read, “Nothing past midnight before your surgery. You are prescribed half of a fast-acting anti-anxiety pill to keep your nerves down prior to surgery.” She held the nearly empty bottle in her hand, “Take it before you leave home with as little water as possible. Plan to be on bed rest for a few days. No driving until you know how the painkillers effect you. No hard, sticky or crunchy foods, no straws’, blah blah blah. This sounds horrible.” Shego ranted, wanting to burn the papers.
Drakken chuckled, “No one said it would be fun,” he said as he served her.
“I know that you idiot.” She scowled.
“Eat up. You have to fast.” Drakken grinned, pushing her plate a bit closer.
The next morning, Shego came down the stairs in comfy clothes, no makeup and her black hair pulled back. She brushed, rinsed and flossed her teeth as best she could, per her dentist’s instructions. She wasn’t looking forward to the no brushing rule for the next few days to prevent dislodging the blood clots at the surgical sites.
Drakken felt butterflies in his stomach when he saw that she was wearing one of his sweaters. It engulfed her svelte frame, but oh, it did things to him.
He got her a glass of water with barely any in it for her pre-surgery medicine.
“Bottoms up,” Shego said as she placed the pill on her tongue and swallowed it without the water.
Damn, he thought, she’s still so cool. Cooler than he could ever be.
“Let’s go!” Drakken said cheerfully, hoping to ease any nerves she may have. Shego only smirked as she grabbed her purse headed out the door.
Drakken got into the driver’s seat. “Seatbelt.” He chided Shego.
Shego rolled her eyes and put her seatbelt on. She knew he wouldn’t drive off if she didn’t.
The effects of the medication hit her quickly. She fought to stay awake on the way to her appointment.
Drakken noticed but didn’t think much of it until they arrived.
“Drew…” Shego called as he got out of the Jeep.
He came around to the passenger side and found her hanging onto the door, her legs useless. “I can’t walk.”
Drakken threw her arm over his shoulder and wrapped his arm around her waist, helping her into the office.
“I must be a lightweight,” Shego said, her voice soft with drowsiness.
“You’ve never done anything?” Drakken asked skeptically, “Even I have smoked pot.”
“No!” Shego slurred, “I was a teen superhero and my dad would have killed me!”
After struggling to open the door to the clinic and keeping Shego secure, Drakken sat her in a chair in the waiting room and checked her in. Shego promptly curled up in the chair and went to sleep.
Drakken sat down next to her, drumming his hands on his knees.
A dental assistant in mint colored scrubs called her name a short time afterward, “Stephanie Lipsky.”
“Right here!” Drakken called, helping Shego up and towards the assistant.
“She’s a bit out of it,” Drakken said, as they were ushered out of the waiting room.
“It’s completely normal. I’m Angela, I’ll be assisting Dr. Morgan today.” She was sure to speak to Drakken and Shego both, even if the latter was somewhere between asleep and awake. “Follow me and we’ll get her comfortable.”
Drakken dutifully followed her into the exam room and helped Shego into the chair, never letting go of her hand. Angela placed a finger monitor on one of Shego’s fingers. As her vitals came up on the monitor, Drakken noticed they were as strong and healthy as ever.
“Good morning!” A tall and cheerful bald man said as he entered the room, “I’m Dr. Bryan Wells, I’m the anesthetist charged with keeping Stephanie comfortable and asleep with the procedure.” He shook Drakken’s hand.
“Did you have any questions or did Stephanie?” Dr. Wells asked.
“No, thank you,” Drakken replied.
“I’ll walk you back to the waiting room,” Angela said to Drakken as Dr. Wells began prepping for IV. Drakken kissed Shego’s cheek before he was ushered out.
Drakken returned to his seat and waited. He scrolled mindlessly through Villainstagram but his mind kept drifting back to Shego, hoping she was doing okay. He squirmed in his chair, trying to get comfortable, the other patients and family members staring at him.
What if she woke up before the doctor was done?
What if she stopped breathing?
Her veins never responded well to IVs, how many times did they have to poke and prod her? Drakken idly scratched his neck. The scar-like veins he now had, came from a failed experiment to make veins more visible, temporarily of course. You weren’t a good scientist if you weren’t willing to be the first volunteer.
He would jump every time he heard drills and other instruments being used, comparing it all to medieval torture.
‘Pull yourself together you idiot. What are you going to do when she has your kid?’ Drakken thought. He froze.
They have discussed having kids, but it was a future prospect. Honestly, he was surprised it hadn’t happened sooner. Sure, they had Athena at one point, but a flesh and blood child was totally different. If Drakken couldn’t handle the thought of his wife going through a routine dental surgery, how would he react to seeing Shego in pain from labor? He’d faint; out cold on the floor with the labor and delivery team stepping over his lame body, and probably one of his brothers-in-law turning him to a meme, that’s how.
Knowing that he had to calm down, Drakken settled himself as much as he could and waited.
He got a text from one of his lab assistants saying that Paul was a female and had destroyed the server room.
‘The name stays. Rebuild the servers.’ He replied. Normally such destruction would send him into a manic frenzy, but he had more important matters to tend to.
“Mr. Lipsky.” Angela called sometime later, startling Drakken, “Your wife is out of surgery, you can come back.”
Drakken jumped out of his seat.
She led the scientist to the recovery room. Shego was reclined back a comfy recliner with a blanket, asleep. Drakken was surprised that she looked okay. He had imagined the worst in the waiting room. She was a bit swollen and her mouth was packed, but no black eyes, no oozing blood. He sat down next to her and gently moved a stray hair from her eyes.
“We’ll keep an eye on her for about thirty minutes or so just to make sure she’s doing okay.”
Drakken nodded, more focused on Shego.
The doctor came in. “Mr. Lipsky, a pleasure to meet you, sir.” Dr. Morgan said, shaking Drakken’s hand “It was a textbook operation. Since she is older than most removal patients, we needed to perform a bone graft also.”
“Bone graft?!” Drakken echoed.
The doctor smiled, “It’s not nearly as scary as it sounds. We simply took donor material and grafted it into her jaw to give her second molars the stability that the wisdom teeth once provided. She responded well to the anesthesia, all her vitals are strong and remained as such throughout the procedure. She had no dry sockets. The teeth had yet to fully erupt, which is a good thing. It would have messed up all the dental work she had done in the past. I did have to cut her gums to remove the teeth, but after she heals, she won’t have any more problems.”
He gave Drakken her aftercare instructions which the scientist carefully read over until Shego was discharged.
“Stephanie, sweetie, it’s time to wake up,” Angela cooed.
If Shego would have been fully conscious, she would not have let anyone call her sweetie, but she stirred, slightly.
Angela gently took the blanket off her to which Shego opened her eyes. She looked around the room for a moment. “Is it over?” She asked, her voice muffled by gauze.
“All over!” Angela confirmed.
Shego stretched in the chair.
“What are you looking at?” She said to Drakken, who was relieved that she was okay. She went to take the gauze out of her mouth.
“No, no, no!” Angela said, but Drakken grabbed Shego’s hand before she could.
“You need to keep those until this afternoon at least,” Angela instructed.
“I’ll keep an eye on her,” Drakken assured. Shego gave him the stink eye.
“She’s all ready to go. I’ll get her a wheelchair and her medication.”
She was prescribed strong painkillers, an antibiotic, and anti-inflammatory. Drakken was suspicious as to why the bottles were only half full but remember that Shego had been seeing Dr. Morgan for years and he likely knew that she healed at an accelerated rate.
“Off like a herd of turtles,” Drakken said, more to himself as he wheeled Shego back to their car.
“I can’t suck anything for a few days. Sorry” Shego lamented.
It took Drakken a second to understand what she meant. Oh. That.
“I’m sure we’ll both get through it fine.” He blushed.
He gently placed Shego, who had already fallen back asleep, in the passenger’s seat and buckled her seatbelt. He resisted the urge to keep the wheelchair for joyrides and returned it.
As they made their way home, Shego’s head dropped and she began to drool bloody saliva.
“Steph…” Drakken prompted, trying to wake her up.
Nothing.
“Stephanie.” He tried again, louder, trying to focus on the road and his wife.
She was snoring.
His eyes darting from the road to Shego, he gently tipped her head to the side to avoid a mess. Even drooling, Shego looked intimidating.
When he made it home, Drakken picked her up bridal style and carried her to bed. He dabbed her mouth of any blood with a damp paper towel.
All he had to do now was wait until she woke up.
Hours later Shego woke up tucked into bed, her head elevated to a comfortable level. A heating pack was secured to her jaw, and a cool, damp cloth on her forehead, a glass of water and everything she could want or need on were at arm’s reach on her bedside table.
Okay, he was a keeper.
Even Commodore Puddles came to check on her, sleep at the foot of the bed. Shego wouldn’t be surprised if he was just attracted to the scent of blood.
Drakken was asleep in an armchair by the window, his legs and bare feet kicked up on the bed.
Shego kicked his feet a little harder than she meant to.
Drakken was instantly awake, ready to help his bride however she needed. “How are you feeling?” He asked as he yawned and rubbed his eyes.
Shego spat out fairly clean gauze which made her wonder if Drakken had changed it while she was asleep.
“Sleepy. Kinda weird.”
“Any pain?”
“Sore.”
“You should probably take something. Are you hungry? Everything needs to be on a full stomach.”
Shego shrugged. “Whatever is fine.”
He came back up with two bowls of mashed potatoes with cheddar and sour cream on a breakfast tray and two glasses of juice. Shego was a fiend for Diet Coke, but carbonated beverages were off the menu for a few days.
Drakken sat down on his side of the bed, fluffed his pillows as Shego scrolled through Netflix. They watched a silly movie that they had both long since memorized and ate their dinner. Drakken wasn’t about to scarf down a burger until Shego was able to.
After they were finished, Drakken took the plates back downstairs as Shego gently rinsed her mouth.
Still sleepy from the sedation, Shego curled up against her husband as they returned to bed. She didn’t make it more than five minutes. Carefully, he turned the TV off and laid down beside her. He fell asleep, ready to care for her for the next few days.
Was this weird? I think it was weird. If anything seems that way, it’s likely because I’m basing a lot of it on my own wisdom teeth experience. It wasn’t a good one in retrospect. He wound up on national news for his terrible practices. He didn’t run his clinic like he should have to say the least. Now I feel weird that I brought that up. Oh well.

I think we’ve all figured out that Drakken is not a real doctor in any sense of the word. I think he did complete a bachelor’s degree but dropped out of a Ph.D. program at M.I.S.T since it is so specialized like post-graduate work. He probably knows everything he needs to, just doesn’t have the accreditations. I think Drakken is the kind of guy who if he wants to learn how to do something, he does and doesn’t stick to one area. He probably has a STEM bachelor’s degree. As for his projects in the lab, in my mind, GJ lets him do whatever he wants, as long as they can use whatever it is. That’s kinda the catch to his and Shego’s new life; they have to work for GJ. I’d say his interest in fields of science varies which is why GJ allows him anything he wants since he is a genius, but robotics is probably his favorite.
GJ had given Drakken his own lab with all the equipment he could ever dream of (though they were always low on parafilm). His lab had its own building just outside of the city, but still under constant surveillance from GJ and many of his foes like Senor Senior Sr. and Duff Killigan. Drakken and Shego were still shaky on where their allegiance between good and evil laid. Drakken took the chance to work for GJ because of the near unlimited scientific opportunities. Did he want to study alien protozoa from Mars and the next day build a robot? He totally could.  Shego was just there for Drakken. Eventually, they settled on malicious compliance. They did things their own way. Drakken loved putting Dr. Director’s office supplies in agar. Of course, Jell-O would work so much better, but that was all he usually had on hand.
And he had dozens of lab techs, assistants and attendants to do the grunt work, divided up for each scientific field Drakken dabbled in. He really did not like writing things down or pipetting.
Shego was just starting her morning security rounds with checking all the cameras and entrances for suspicious activity. A couple of raccoons were very interested the garbage last night, a young lab tech was hotboxing in his car at three in the morning and Baker from engineering forgot his key card again, but no Montalban-esque old men or kilted golfers. Cousin Eddie did search the garbage around two in the morning and left with an old monitor but Shego was not concerned.
She stood up to check the entrances and exits for tampering and took a few steps. Suddenly she stopped in her tracks. Her vision greyed, and the room spun.
“Shego?” A lab attendant named Kristen who worked in genetics, a pipette in hand asked, concerned.
Shego’s eyes rolled back and she began to crumple to the tile floor.
Kristen launched herself out of her seat, catching Shego before she could hit her head. Other lab workers raced to the scene.
“Should we get Dr. Lipsky?”
“Did she hit her head?”
“Should we call 911?”
Shego’s eyes slowly opened and saw several distressed faces of Drakken’s lab lackeys.
“I’m fine. Jesus, have you never seen someone faint before?” She snapped, sitting up, pulling herself away from Kristen with a glare. She didn’t even let Drakken get that close to her at times.
“Shego, maybe you should get checked out.”
“I’m fine. I’ve just been sick lately. It’s just dehydration or something.” She replied, standing up on shaky legs. “Now get back to work! You’re not paid to stand around!” She exclaimed.
The group broke off, splintering into their workstations, muttering to themselves.
“I bet she’s pregnant. She’s puked nearly every day since last week.” An attendant whispered to a tech as they walked off.
Normally, Shego would have had their hide for such gossip, but the idea shook Shego to her core because it could true. She was sick, her period was late, she was constantly tired.
“Fuck.” She said to herself.
She was not ready for this. It was happening too fast! She never wanted kids until she met Drakken, but her mother’s instinct wasn’t particularly strong regardless. Having Athena around gave her taste of motherhood and she wasn’t happy. It bothered her more than she cared to admit that Athena had been ‘adopted’ by the Possibles.
Shego didn’t feel comfortable in her skin anymore like she was wearing the wrong size shirt. She felt like she had the word PREGNANT written in giant red letters on her forehead and I FUCKED MY BOSS taped on her back. Yeah, she had a beautiful diamond ring on her finger, but he was still her boss. For a freaking doofus, he was good in bed.
What was she going to wear? They certainly don’t make super suits in maternity sizes. She hated to admit it, but she was protective of Drew. Partially because she loved him, partially because it was her job. She didn’t trust anyone else to do her job as well as she could. It wasn’t just that she wanted to protect him from outside forces, no, it was from himself too. Last time she left him to his own devices, he nearly blew himself up and was borderline diabetic from eating crap on the go. Could either of them be at least be okay parents?
Shego couldn’t stand the uncertainty, she had to know for sure. She wasn’t doing this alone either. No, she was bringing that blue idiot who did this to her along for the ride.
She burst through the doors of Drakken’s office like a force of nature, startling him.
“Ever hear of knocking!?” Drakken exclaimed, holding his chest in fright. “I could have had a heart attack! What do you want? I’m waiting for The Dyad Institute to call me back!”
“I think I’m pregnant,” Shego said, her voice somewhere between panic and rage.
Drakken accidentally snapped a pen in half, blue ink rupturing all over his bare hand and desk. “Are you serious?”
Shego shrugged, not sure how to answer. She was serious that she thought she was pregnant.
Drakken stood and bounded towards his wife. He laughed as he spun her around.
“This is incredible!” He exclaimed, happily, cupping her cheek, smearing a bit of ink on pale skin.
“Really? Because I’m petrified!” Shego barked.
The doctor’s eyes narrowed, “Why are you even surprised? It’s not like we’re a celibate couple! We consciously decided to stop trying to not get pregnant.”
“Coming from the guy who doesn’t have another being growing inside of you!” She yelled, punching him in the stomach.
Drakken oofed and hunched over in pain.
“And I didn’t think it happen so quickly!” Shego added.
“Well, go take a test.” Drakken replied, slowly straightening up, his voice still strained, “I can handle things around here until you get back.”
“No!” Shego hollered, “I don’t want people to know!” A big pregnant belly did not work with her image.
“Then I can do a blood test.”
“A blood test!? You!?” Shego hollered, “You’re not a medical doctor,” She spat. “I don’t even think you’re a doctor in general!”
“It’s the most discreet way, Steph…, just you and me.”
“Fine. Where do you want me?”
“Stay here. I’ll get everything.”
Drakken hurried around the lab grabbing the necessary instruments, trying to look inconspicuous for Shego’s sake.
“Anybody know where all the paper clips went?” He asked as he hid a sterile packed butterfly syringe in the pocket of his lab coat.
The scientists shook their heads slowly. The ones who did not see Shego’s episode wondered why their head of lab was looking for office supplies in medical storage. The rest had an idea of what was happening and Drakken’s more than usual unusual behavior only made it more noticeable. Meanwhile, Shego shut the blinds on all interior and exterior facing windows of Drakken’s office.
“Took you long enough!” Shego scowled. In reality, he had only been away for at most three minutes.
“Go sit down,” Drakken instructed pointing to two leather chairs in front of his desk.
Shego sat and he took the empty one next to her, laying out his sterile field.
Her bodysuit was nearly skin tight and did not allow her to roll up her sleeves. Instead, she had to unzip it enough to pull her arms out. The leather material pooled uselessly around her waist as she sat there with the black tank top she wore underneath exposed.
Drakken busied about getting the equipment he needed. He tied a rubber tourniquet just above the crook of her arm and prepared the sterile butterfly syringe.
“How do you know how to draw blood?” Shego asked as he cleaned her arm with an alcohol wipe.
“I figured it out when I was working on the Vascular Visibility Project.” He replied, more focused on her veins as he rubbed her arm, trying to coax one into view. He found a plump vein and was able to draw enough blood for testing.
“How long will it take?” Shego asked as she held a cotton ball to arm.
“Not long,” Drakken replied as he set up the necessary equipment on his desk to read the results, cables going back and forth from the equipment to his computer.
Her hormone levels appeared on the screen. There it was, elevated human chorionic gonadotropin levels. She was pregnant. Drakken had to compose himself for a moment as tears of joy stung his eyes. He never thought he’d be a father and once he met Shego, he wanted to be. He wanted someone to pass his knowledge down to. God, he missed Athena.
“Well?” Shego said, craning her neck to see the monitor.
“We better start picking out names.” The doctor grinned.
“No, no. Oh no, no, no. Run it again, you must have screwed up somewhere.”
Drakken ran to his wife’s side “Stephanie, you need to calm down.” He urged, holding her hands in his own.
Shego started to shake, tears falling from her eyes. “Drew, I’m radioactive, from the comet. Who knows if this kid will be okay?”
Drakken’s thick brow furrowed in confusion, “What? No, you’re not. Who told you that? I’ve tested your DNA…. There weren’t any mutations or deletions.”
“You tested me?!” Shego screeched, feeling violated and ripped her hands away from his.
“Yeah…. I wasn’t going to hire you if you were radioactive. You’d be a liability to me.” He replied as a matter-of-factly. “Why are you so afraid?”
“I’m not a good person, Drew! I’m mean, I’m selfish…”
“But we had Athena…” Drakken interjected before she could put herself down too much.
“Athena was a robot! With preprogrammed memories that we just turned on one day and if my mind serves me, we were pretty crappy to her!” Shego was now sobbing.
“But you’re also brave and loyal. If anyone waited until they were perfect to have kids, humanity would have gone extinct eons ago.” Drakken took some tissue from a desk drawer. He gently moved Shego’s hair out of the way and dabbed her tears, “We’ll take this one day, one step at a time together, just like everything else we’ve done together. And if anyone says anything, I just use them as a science experiment,” Drakken said, a maniacal glint in his eyes which Shego loved.
“Promise?” Shego asked, feeling only an iota better about the situation.
“Promise. We’ll get through this together and our family will thrive!  We’ve conquered so much worse together.” Undeniable love shined in his eyes.
Shego managed a small smile. Maybe it wouldn’t be too bad; not great but not terrible either.
