Kookie - JJ maybank x reader
Request by @charlieandindy : JJ 5&15 from fluffy prompt list
5: “Can we stay like this forever?”
15: “I just wanted to let you know that I think you’re beautiful.”
a\n: I changed up the wording of the prompts a little to fit better into the idea I had but oh well.
trigger warnings: underage drinking, cursing
Word count: 2957
1:00 PM
I was sitting on the beach with my so-called friends. I don't think that JJ and John B are my biggest fans, but they didn't have a choice. I was Sarah's friend, and from time to time she would bring me along and John forced JJ to come with. you may be asking, why would you hand out together if you don't like each other? Well, that's because Sarah told her dad she's hanging out with me at the beach, and they thought it be better to get someone to keep me company. They could've gotten Kie to do it, since me and her get along decently, but she wasn't included in the very short list of people that know about the star-crossed lover.
That's where JJ came in. JJ and I got along like oil and water. We teased each other constantly, ever since we became aware of each other's existence – he would call me a cocky Kook thinking he's the next big comedian for that less-then-mediocre pun, and I would call him a dumb Pogue. I mean, I guess he's good-looking, bud why the fuck would Sarah try to set me up with a pretty much convicted criminal? John and Sarah went down to the water, but Instead of interacting with JJ, I drew lines on the sand with a random stick.
"so, what's with your face?" I ask JJ, getting annoyed with the silence. "huh?" he says, snapping back to reality, "oh, that. Nothing, just... fell" he made up an excuse. I could tell it's an excuse. "really? Well, you fall quite a lot. Do they no teach you how to walk in pogue school?" I ask. "ha-ha, very funny, do they teach you comedy is Kook school?" JJ spat back. "no need to get so pressed, Maybank" I reply, smirking at the fact I got on his nerves. "no one calls me Maybank, and I would like that to stay this way" he sighs and placing his hands on the towel to lean back. Suddenly his muscles are very visible, but I look away before he catches me staring. "ya wanna feel 'em?" he asks, but it's clear from his voice he just wants me to know he caught me. Shit. "no, ew, your gross" I reply. He laughs. "oh, is it below you to touch a dirty pogue?" he asks. "no, it's below me to touch you" I reply. "ohhh that hurt, (y\n)" he says, holding his chest like he's in pain. "whatever, Maybank" I sigh. "so, are you coming to the summer fest tonight?" he asks. "yeah, why, would you?" I ask. he nods, "neh, I'm gonna hang out with JB, probably. Drink a little. If you'll be nice I'll stop by and give you the honor of dancing with me". "I don't think they let criminals in" I look at him. His hand is covering his eyes from the sun and he squints, looking at me. "see, now, that was not very nice, Kookie".
That was another nickname he gave me, cookie with a K. "cause, you know, you're a Kook". At first, I tried to put aside our history, but the teasing drove me nuts, and I can't let him win. This game goes way back.
I was reading at my porch. "hey, Kookie" a familiar voice said. "hey" I rolled my eyes at the 13-year-old blond boy. He was hired by my family to mow the grass when he was 11 and they got him ever since. "what are you reading?" he asked. "Matilda" I reply, "it's about a girl who's so smart, and the braincells she doesn’t use do magic". "sounds... logistic" he said back. "do you even know what does the word 'logistic' mean, pogue?" I laugh at him. "yeah, it's when something is logical, so it can also happen in real life" he says. I laugh, "I think you meant realistic" I say and place a bookmark inside the book before I close it and put it aside. "logistic is from the world logistics, which is planning complicated things so that they would work well, realistic is when something can also happen in real life and makes sense that it would be true" I explained to him. he looked at me, confused. "even for a pogue, you are stupid" I said, and grab my book. "well, even for a Kook, you're mean" he replied and went back to do his job.
6:00 PM
"hey Kie" I smile at her. We were friends back when she hung out with Sarah, but then all the things between them went down, and she stayed back. "hi" she smiles politely. Her parents were always happy to see us talking, and mine were thrilled that I have friends other then Sarah, so we had this un-spoken agreement to talk in Kook events. We talked for a little while until she caught a glimpse of her friend, I believe his name is Pope. He's the one who drowned Top's boat. Speaking of the devil, I felt a tap on my shoulder. "(y\n)" he smiled at me, pulling me into a hug. "hi Top, how are you? I ask. "actually, not that great. How about you?" he asks. "I'm great. Why aren't you?" I ask, pretending to care. I may be a Kook, but even I can not stand him and Rafe and how they are constantly beating up JJ and the other Pogues. Maybe that's what happened to his face? He would hate to admit a Kook beat him up that bad and he "lost" the fight. Typical proud man. "it's just.. Sarah. Something feels off, you know?" he says.
10:00 am
"shit, (y\n), knock on the door!" Sarah sighed. Her hands hugged someone who was not Topper, and he was holding her waist. "sorry, if I was aware of the fact you're cheating on your boyfriend I would knock" I say, closing the door behind me and sitting sown on the bed. "now, come on, we have to finish the summer project we're supposed to do together" I say, taking out the books from my beg. "we're kind of in the middle of something…" the guy says. I recognize him as one of the Pogues. Was he the one that aimed a gun to Topper's head? No, he was the one Topper almost drowned.
"actually, John B, I invited her, it's important" Sarah sighs. "oh, and please don't tell Topper. It happened so fast, and I want to break up with Topper, I just.. need the right time, and-" "Sarah, it's cool, I'll keep you're secret. That's what friends are for" I say, "you're lucky I don't like Topper".
"oh, really? Cause she's normal with me" I say. "well, so you know if I've done something? Or like... what, is she seeing someone else?" Topper insists. "Sarah wouldn't cheat, Top" I say, "kinda sad that you believe she will". "cut the crap, (y\n), I know it won't be the first time" he says, a bit upset. "look, I don't know anything, okay?" I reply, and with that I walk away. Lying to Topper made me feel a little shittier then I thought, so I went to find Sarah. I barley got anywhere when everyone started cheering. Ward and Rose walked out of the house. "she looks like lady liberty" I thought to myself, "Barbie addition". Sarah walked out right behind them, and Topper grabbed her hand before I got to her.
They walked over to the porch. I followed them. "hey, where were you yesterday?" Topper asked. "I was out of town" Sarah replies. "out of town?" he repeated her, asking for confirmation. She nods. "where did you go?" he keeps interrogating. "Chapel Heel" She says. "Chapel Heel" he repeats her answer, trying to rock her confidence, "what? with you're family—"no" she cuts him off. "no?" he asks. "a friend". She notices me, and her eyes scream "come save me". "a friend. A friend? What friend?" he asks. "it was me, I believe, we have this history project we're doing together and we needed the state archives" I barged in. "yeah" Sarah agrees, "and actually, we found some really interesting information about the history of Tannyhill, like, the founder was this slave guy, that appeared out of nowhere" she adds. "yeah, Denmark Tanny. He had a son, and according to the records, dude was hot" I say, but Topper seems to have enough. "okay" he says, "I believe you; you don't have to bore me to death". "well, we actually need to talk some more about this, that's the reason I approached you guys in the first place. I'm sorry to steal your girlfriend again" I say and drag Sarah into the house. "well just don't- don't kiss her!" he says. We shoot him a smile to pretend it's funny and close the door behind us.
"thank you, (y\n), I own you big time" Sarah says. "yes, you are. Lying to Topper is not as fun as I expected" I say. "look, I'll break up with him soon. My dad just wanted the night Drama-free" she replies, taking a glass of wine. "well, I sure feel like an actor" I tell her and take a glass myself. She laughs, "yeah, you deserve an Oscar for your performance".
9:00
I was dancing with Sarah when JJ approached us. He was behind Sarah, so i noticed him first. "JJ?" I ask. "yup" he replies, and Sarah turns around. "what?" she says, confused to see him. "I got, uh, a note from Vlad" he says, dancing next to her. "I thought you said you'd stop by to dance with me" I say, slightly offended. "(y\n)!" he smiles at me. "Vlad?" Sarah asks. "yup, just read the note" JJ says to her, and then offers me his hand. "fine" I sigh, and take it. He place one hand on my back, above my waist to dips me. "oh, you got moves" I laugh as he pulls me back up. We move around, dancing. "you're not too bad yourself" he says, based on the seconds we got to dance together. Rafe comes closer to us. "I'm wonderin' if you could get me a mai tai, my friend" he says, resting his arms on JJ's shoulder in a threatening matter. "yeah, Pogue, why don't you make it two?" Kelce adds, stepping closer to JJ. "actually, we're in the middle" I say. "yeah, so how about you guys just go wait by the bar?" JJ says, placing his hands around my waist so that we can go back to dancing. "no, we're going to wait for you to be free" Rafe said. "sure, yeah, meanwhile, help yourselves for some hors d'oeuvrs". "guys, JJ's gonna serve us some hors d'oeuvrs" Rafe says to his friends. "well, (y\n), I wish we could stay like this forever, but, uh, I'll be right back" he says, slowly walking away from the dance floor, "here are the hors d'oeuvrs-" I hear him. "we're actually gonna follow you in here, just to make sure…" Rafe says, and then I hear running.
This kid can't stay put of trouble. A few minutes passed, but he didn't come back. Too bad, it was nice. "I wish we could stay like this forever" his words kept repeating in my head. Did he really mean that? I mean, we're always teasing each other, maybe it was in a flirty manner rather than hateful? For him, I mean, cause I don't like him. I don't think I like him. do I like him? shit.
10:00 PM
I stood outside. "look—look man, I can walk myself" I hear a voice that I recognize as JJ's, "I got legs, can you see that brother?" he kept going, and I suspect he's a bit tipsy. "I really appreciate what you did there, let me just walk myself out" JJ won't shut up. "Mr. Dunleavy, I see you got your drink. Good, that's really nice for you, I'm actually gonna down that" he said, and took the drink from Mr. Dunleavy. Man, JJ got some balls to act like that. I can barley make out the words of the other people involved, but JJ's heard loud and clear. "it's okay everybody! Do not panic!" he calls, "leave it to the men and women in uniforms! Let's hear it for them!" he starts clapping. I'm about to join, but since no one else does I give up. I think he's saying something, but I can't hear him. I come closer to the scene and end up next to Kiara. "Rose! You look like lady liberty" he says. "let go of him!" Kiara yells, "you can't just boot him!".
"excuse me ma'am?" the guard pushing JJ out said. "I invited him" she says, but her parents seem to not like it, but she ignores them. "I'm a member of this club" she says. I'm truly jealous of their little group, so loyal to each other, through thick and thin. JJ pushes the guard off him. "sorry about that" he says. I'm moving closer to him, but I'm not sure what I'm going to say. "(y\n)! he smiles at me, “it's good you're here, I just wanted to let you know that I think you’re beautiful" he says, and I don't know if it's the drink he stole or his genuine words. "hi, mandatory power hour at Rixon's, Kie. Pope, you as well, all right? Rixon's cove, let's roll!" as he talks, I'm still coming closer. "hey, Sarah's coming, you should join, I think you'll make Kie accept her presence" JJ whispers at me. "uh, okay" I say. "cool" he smiles at me, taking my hand. "all right Kie, come on!" JJ calls, "workers of the world unite! Throw off your chains!" and Kie seems confused. "won't you're friends have a problem with that?" I ask, but I get no answer. "woo-hoo!" calls John B. I have no idea when he arrived. "colonal!" JJ says, saluting to John. "captain!" John returns a salute. "mission accomplished, sir!" JJ says. "hey, I figured we should take (y\n), she's slightly more likable then your girlfriend and Kie would be more comfortable" He adds, and John approves. "uh, not at the Mandatory meeting" he says and smile at me, "but get Sarah and come with her". Well, here's my answer.
"come on Kie!" JJ calls at her. She and Pope finally arrive at us, and JJ spins Kie around and- is that jealousy I feel? JJ notices, I guess, because he says "no need to be jealous, Kookie" with his charming smile. How did I never notice before?
I go to get Sarah. "hey, Sarah, guess who's invited to your little meeting?" I whisper. "JJ wanted you there? So sweet of him, you two would make a great couple" she whispers back, and I hit her shoulder. "let's just go" I sigh. "wait, we need to get maps from my dad's office" she says, and I nod. We go inside. "you guard, I grab, got it?" she says. I nod and she enters the office. I lean at the door frame to look out. I see Ward coming.
"Ward!" I smile at him. "what are you doing here?" he asks. "oh, I was looking for-" he rushes by me, pushing me against the door frame. What the fuck? "-Sarah" I mumble. "yup, and she found me. I just wanted a copy of one of the old plat maps" I hear her makes up quickly, "(y\n), wait for me downstairs, okay?" she says, so I leave.
12:00 AM
Sarah and I arrive at the woods. "I'm supposed to meet John at the Hawk's nest, you go find JJ" she says, and so I go. On my way, I find John, and he point at the van. "JJ's waiting for you outside". I nod and follow the light that's coming from the van.
"hey" JJ smiles at me. He's leaning against the van, but he's leaving it and comes toward me. "listen, I wanted you to be here, cause we're onto something big, but the other guys aren't so sure. JB got to drag Sarah into this for intel, but other then being pretty you don't have anything to offer" he explains. "okay" I sigh, slightly blushing at the compliment, "whatever". "hey, I know that it's kind of weird, I just need to ask you something" he breaks the silence that almost started to get awkward. "sure, what is it?" I ask.
"when you tease me, and call me a stupid pogue, is it because you hate me?" he asks. "I don't know" I reply, "you started it, I just went along. Always figured you hate me. Why are you asking?". He takes my hand, and just when I think I can't be more surprised, he says, "I was trying to be flirty". I burst out laughing. "is this some kind of a prank, JJ? Did Sarah asked you to do this? Look, yeah, I told her this one that you're the hottest Pogue, but i-".
Now it's his turn to laugh and slightly blush. "I didn't know that, and no, not a prank, being genuine here. Booze makes me honest and brave for things that are a different kind of dangerous then my normal activities" he says, hand still holding mine. "look, I know we're not on the best terms, bot you can't deny the chemistry, right?" he says, coming closer and placing my hand around his neck. Without thinking I move my second hand and do the same. His hands move to my waist, and in one leap of faith, his lips crush on mine.

Quote
"What the hell are you staring at?" She snarls, her voice a lightning bolt upon his tan skin. He blinks, unimpressed with her sharp tone, "You." "I'm not that interesting," she growls, the alcohol ripping away her patience, "So, stop." He cocks his head. Calm. Sober. "You're super drunk. Did you know that?" She glares at him, ignoring the wobble of her legs and the blur of the world. "I'm completely sober, actually." He releases a soft laugh. She can't help but think that it sounds like soft bells. When he shakes his head, his brown hair flops around. She feels a strange desire to touch it. She smothers the urge. "Right," he agrees sarcastically, "Completely sober." ---------------------------------- "Nare," Georgia gasps, ignoring her best friend's smouldering gaze as she makes her way through the crowd, "Did you hear what happened to Casey Ridge at Jake's party?" "Do I care?" She fights to create a path through the sea of disgusting students. They seem to crush her down with their bodies and school bags. The defiance only sparks her temper. It trembles beneath the surface, ready to explode. She holds it in. "Oh, gosh!" Georgia exclaims dramatically, "She got so wasted, you should have seen it, Nare!" "Oh," she replies, her voice blank with disinterest, "That's nice." "If you had actually come to the party then you would have known about it-" "I swear to god, if one more person smacks into me I am going to personally beat them down!" She releases a few blades of her temper, threatening the surrounding kids in the crashing ocean. They stare warily at her and keep their distance. Good. She begins walking again. "Anyway," Georgia begins again, "She got totally wasted and jumped into Jake''s pool-" A shoulder smacks into her. It momentarily knocks the breath from her body, and everything halts. Her temper explodes. "Oh, no," Georgia whispers sadly as she watches her best friend's eyes burn. "Can you fucking watch it?!" The boy turns swiftly. He catches her fist against his jaw. "NARE!" Georgia exclaims. She doesn't listen. Her entire body is a mess of burning flames, and she wants a release. Before she can throw another punch, Georgia's hands, as hard as steel, drag her away. She glares back at the head of messy brown hair. "FUCKING WATCH WHERE YOU'RE WALKING NEXT TIME, DICK!" ----------------------------------------- "Nice bruise," she smiles sweetly at the boy as he passes her in the hall. The bruise, like purple ink, dances up his jaw. It manages to look nice against his tan skin. Beautiful bastard. "Nare," Hayden warns quietly, his grip wrapping around her upper arm to keep her on course. The new boy blinks in recognition as he passes her. He does not say a word, and she releases a smug huff and smiles as he silently disappears into the school hall behind her. She wins. "Nice aim," his voice, steady and strong and rough, rings out across the chorus of students like swinging bells. Her smile drops. ----------------------------------------------- "So, I heard you beat up the new kid," Diego announces as he drops into the seat across from her. His dark curls are extra curly, and his grin wider than usual. "First of all, I did not beat him up," she announces, "Second of all, are you high?" He winks as he sips his drink. She sighs. "You shouldn't-" "Beat up new kids?" He asks slyly, "I know. I'll try to refrain." He winces away from her glare. "Hey, Diego," Sarah greets as she drops down beside him, "You smell like weed." "I wonder why," she grumbles. Sarah's eyes flicker to her, "You can't talk, Nare. You beat up-" "No," she interrupts, her voice a thousand slices. "I did not. One punch." Sarah shrugs in innocence before digging into her salad. "Oh," Xavier's voice rings out across the cafeteria as he strolls towards their table, his honey hair a mess, "Look who it is! The school bully!" He reaches the table, "Nare, I have to say, I'm impressed. Beating up the new kid? Sexy as hell-" "Oh, for god's sake! I didn't beat him up!" "Who?" Henry asks, appearing at Xavier's side, "The new kid? That's a lie, Nare. You fucked him up-" "I DID NOT BEAT HIM UP!" The entire cafeteria silences. The stares roll over her like a disgusting wave of goosebumps. Oh, great. She drops into her seat, anger burning within her. The silence lasts for years. At last, a voice breaks it. "I feel pretty beat up." Her head whips up, and she finds him; the beautiful boy with the delicate bruise. His gaze burns. "Oh, fuck off." His smile is slow. Sunshine. ------------------------------- "I'm-" "Irrelevant?" She closes her locker, spinning to face him. He's taller than her; towers over her short frame. Her neck hurts from looking up already. His tan skin shines as brightly as his dark eyes. Hispanic. He releases a deep laugh. A nice sound. "And you are....?" She smiles, sickly sweet, "Uninterested." --------------------------------------------- "Nare!" Georgia catches up, her dark curls bouncing around her beautiful brown face as she smiles at her best friend. "Where have you been all day?" She doesn't look away from her car, on the other side of the car park. She makes a beeline towards it. Nothing can stop her feet. "At school." Georgia frowns distastefully at her sarcastic tone but shakes it off, her face brightening again. "Have you heard the latest goss?" "You're the only one that tells me the gossip. If you haven't told me, then I don't know it." "Well, it's going around that you and Kiane are the new couple of the grade!" "Who the fuck is Kiane?" Georgia sighs, "You know; tall, hispanic... big bruise on his jaw?" "Oh," she sighs sadly, finally reaching her car, "His name is Kiane. What an awfully dreadful name. I pity him." --------------------------------------------------- "Oh, go fuck yourself, Kurt," she snaps, a thousand flames boiling beneath her skin. Kurt's disgusting dark eyes spark, "Maybe you could do it for me, Nare," he slurs. Disgust rolls over her skin. "Or maybe you can back the hell off before i kick you in the nuts." He smiles slowly, lazily. Hatred for him burns within her. "You're sexy as hell when you're mad, Nare." "You're sick, Kurt. This is why you're single." Something flickers in his face, and for one moment she sees past his mask. She spots something old and rotten. "And you can't relate, right, Nare? How long did it take for Kiane to get into your pants? Thirty seconds? I bet that bruise isn't from punching him. It's a hikky, isn't it, Nare?" She glares. Her anger coils within her, a sharp whip. "Shut the hell up. You and I both know that I'm not with Kiane-" "Well," he spreads his arms, smiling sweetly, "If you're not banging with Kiane, come bang with me, baby." His words smoulder her veins into ashes. She tries her best to control her temper. She seems to be failing. "I would rather die, Kurt," she replies, her voice just as sweet. His eyes flicker again, and she fights the urge to flinch away from the monster within him. "You fucking slut," he growls, "I wouldn't want you in my bed, anyway. I've heard that you've been with half of the school." Her face flushes with anger. She hates that rumour. She regrets letting it simmer. Now she has no choice but to accept her false reputation. A school slut. Great. "And I STILL won't drop my standards low enough for you, Kurt." Hatred burns within him. She catches the flames. "So you won't fuck me," he announces clearly, loud enough for the gathered crowd to hear, "But you'll fuck your little brother?" Her temper slips. Everything blurs as she runs towards him, a thousand fires burning in her veins. She wants to rip his head off. Before her hands can reach his throat, her feet leave the ground. A large body wraps arms around her waist and tugs her against a harsh body. She fights it. She kicks and yells and claws at the hands holding her, but they don't weaken. She turns her gaze onto Kurt, staring at her in fear. Red hazes her vision. "YOU FUCKING WATCH YOUR MOUTH, KURT GALLAN," she roars as she is carried away, "I KNOW YOUR GOD DAMNED MOTHER. I KNOW YOUR FAMILY HISTORY. DON'T FUCKING THINK I WON'T TELL EVERYONE I KNOW." His eyes widen with terror. He forgot that she knew. "WATCH YOUR BACK, KURT. OTHERWISE YOUR DIRTY SECRET WILL BE WRITTEN ALL OVER THE WALLS. YOU GET MY FAMILIES NAME OUT OF YOUR DISGUSTING MOUTH-" Her captor bangs open the front doors of the school, and Kurt's horrified face disappears from sight. Kiane throws her onto the ground of the car park. The breath is knocked from her, and it takes her a moment to glare up at his disapproving face. "Don't you dare touch me ever again." "You were going to get yourself expelled, Nare." "I don't care. He was talking about my brother-" "I heard him," Kiane's voice is calm, blank, as he speaks. "Doesn't mean you need to lose your mind." "I have made it so clear that I dislike you, Kiane!" She yells, still on the ground, "Why can't you leave me alone!" His gaze doesn't waver as he crouches down, his eyes level with hers. Both gazes smoulder. "Because you are a mess of negative energy." "And?" "And I'm a mess of positive energy." She scoffs, "We do NOT balance each other out, Kiane." He doesn't even blink, "Are you sure?" ------------------------------ "Kiane is sitting with us," Xavier announces as he sits down across from her, his hair it's usual mess. Kiane stands at his shoulder, looking slightly uncomfortable. "No," she announces, her voice sharp, "He is NOT." Her friends still, watching her and Xavier battle it out. Xavier raises an eyebrow. Kiane, hardly offended, watches with mild interest. "He is," Xavier announces again, "He is funny and nice-" "And he is straight, X," Sarah reminds with a wink. Xavier glares at Sarah, "Just because I'm gay does NOT mean that I'm attracted to all boys, Sarah!" "But you're attracted to Kiane," Hayden reminds with a grin, "Aren't you?" Xavier blinks in confusion,"Well, off course. Everyone's attracted to Kiane-" "Incorrect," she interrupts, still glaring at Xavier, "I am not attracted, and I do not support his presence at our table." Xavier frowns, "How else are you meant to convince the school that you're a couple?" She shrugs, sipping her popper angrily. Kiane watches her with amusement shining in his pretty eyes. "I don't know," she deflects, "Smile occasionally and give him a few hugs?" Georgia snorts, and she fights the urge to glare at her best friend. Although, to be honest, the thought of hugging Kiane makes something within her curl up and die. She ignores her decaying pride. "That's a horrible idea," Xavier announces, "If you want to win this bet with Casey Ridge then you have to make it look real, Nare! That means extreme PDA." "Huh?" "Kisses. Hugs. Hand holding. Cuddling. Laughing. Smiling. Not being a bitch for once??" She growls, "I'd rather lose the bet." "No," Sarah interrupts, "You wouldn't. It was stupid of you to get yourself into that bet, you know. You always let your temper get the better of you." "I mean," Diego announces thoughtfully, "This is totally your fault. You should have just let Casey gush about Kiane without interrupting and being mean-" "Hey, guys!" Georgia loyally defends, "You know she can't help it! Every time she hears Casey Ridge talk she just HAS to jump in and smack the girl around. The reaction is part of her DNA." Henry sighs sadly, "How unfortunate that the subject of that conversation was Kiane. Nare, you probably should have realised that it would end up as a competition to see who could get him and keep him. You really don't think sometimes." "Thanks, Henry," she snaps; a near growl. "Anyway," Xavier sighs, "You got yourself into this bet. You're winning so far-" "But that's a fake win, though-" Hayden interrupts, "They're not truly dating." Xavier glances in between them, smiling slowly. "Not yet." -------------------------- "Did you do the maths homework?" his voice is deep and rough in her ear. She glances irritably at him, "What do you think, Kiane?" He sighs. He glances forwards, and when his gaze rests upon something, a mask of calm suddenly rolls over his beautiful features. He schools his face into a mix of lazy desire and soft happiness, and he steps closer to her. She fights her flinch as he wraps a large arm around her waist and tugs her against him. "Casey is walking this way. PDA, Nare." His skin feels hot against hers. Something flushes across her body. She ignores it. Casey comes into her line of vision, and when her eyes fall upon her and Kiane embracing, she makes a decision. Why constantly make small, annoying declarations of love when she could make one, big declaration and be rid of public affection for a while? She twists in Kiane's soft grip until her chest is flushed against his. He keeps his hands on her waist, but blinks down at her in surprise. She runs a hand through his hair, and for a moment, his eyes close in satisfaction. For as long as she lives, she will never forget that image. Her lips crash into his. He remains frozen for a second before gathering his wits and kissing her back. Everything fades. Everything explodes. Deep and hot and rich. His body is warm against hers, and she feels every single one of his muscles tense and relax as he guides her towards an abandoned locker. An unknown sensation blossoms in her waist, under the skin where his hands pull her tight against him. He pushes her against the locker, careful to make the bang loud enough to attract the other student's attentions. He kisses her harder, and for some strange reason, she kisses back just as hard. She feels his heart racing against her own, and for a moment she wonders why hers beats as fast as his. His lips are soft and strangely hungry as he devours her, and she fights the urge to gasp into his mouth. He's a really good kisser. A really damn good kisser. -------------------------------------- "I'm impressed," Xavier smiles, "Everyone's talking about your make out session in the hall today. Very touchy, very deep, very hot. Keeping up a solid image. Good acting, Kiane and Nare." She looks down into her juice. For some strange reason, her cheeks feel hot. She wonders why she's so flustered. ---------------------------------- "Why did you even agree to this?" she asks suddenly, letting her pencil drop from her mouth. He doesn't look up from his textbook, "Why did i agree to have weekly library study sessions with you? Because you're the best at maths in the class and i'm close to failing." She frowns, "No," she corrects, "Why did you agree to go along with the bet?" He does meet her gaze, then. His highlighter remains poised in mid air. A strand of his dark hair flops over his forehead, into his burning eyes. They're always burning. "Because I wanted to see how long you could last being close to me." "Not long." He shrugs carefully, smiling slowly, "We'll see." ---------------------------- "How's your boyfriend," Henrietta asks. Her voice is so damned annoying. "Huh?" "Your boyfriend," Henrietta repeats, her eyes flicking over to the lockers across from hers. She follows Henrietta's gaze, and her eyes fall upon Kiane. He leans against the locker next to Hayden's, patiently reading his book while he waits for his friend to get his sports uniform out of his locker. His hair flops in front of his eyes again. "Oh," she says, dully, "He's good." ----------------------------- A hand snakes around her waist. She doesn't flinch as her body finds Kiane's in the crowd. She's used to his touch by now. "Happy 2 months, babe!" His voice is loud, clear. Too loud. Too clear. Their classmates turn and stare. Perfect. She forces a smile onto her face as she looks up into his shining face. "Aw, thanks, baby!" Kiane ignores her tone. They've had many arguments about her tone. She says the word baby as if it's an insult. Kiane has informed her many times that, is in fact not, how you say the word baby. She reaches up to kiss his cheek, and he dives in for a kiss on the lips. It's soft and sweet and a batch full of sunshine. She kisses him back, slowly. She wonders when she stopped hating his kisses. ----------------------------- "You've officially and completely won!" Sarah squeals as she speed walks to their table. Kiane glances up at Sarah in surprise, his hands hovering over the chips on his girlfriend's tray, "Huh?" "The bet!" Sarah explains, "Casey has a new boyfriend. You've won!" Kiane looks at her slowly. She tries not to read too deeply into the blank look on his face. "You won, Nare." She watches him carefully. Why doesn't she feel happy? "Oh." "You'll have to date for one more week, I think. Then and only then will it be safe to break it off without arousing suspicion. One more week guys, and then you're free!" Silence. Eventually, Kiane forces a laugh, "Whoop whoop, freedom. Three months of hardcore acting, and it's all payed off. You won, Nare." Hardcore acting. She can't get the words out of her brain. One week. Why is grief ripping through her body? ----------------------------- "Hard core acting?" she blurts. Oops. She had not meant to speak. He looks up at her, blinking in confusion. "Huh?" She looks back down to her maths equations, shaking her head, "Nothing." "No, what did you say?" "Nothing, Kiane," her voice is sharp. Her voice hasn't been that sharp in a long time. He had seemed to blur her sharp edges over the last three months. One week, and she would get them back. She wasn't sure if she wanted them. ------------------------------ "What did you say earlier?" She doesn't respond. "Nare." "What?" "What did you say to me earlier?" "It doesn't matter, Kiane," she snaps, stomping out of the library. He follows her every step of the way, "Just forget it." "No, you sounded upset. What did you say?" She spins to him, laughing in his face. Cruel misery seems to burn through her veins for some strange reason. "You don't have to pretend to care about my emotions anymore, Kiane. One week, and then you're done. Might as well stop now." He blinks in surprise before speaking slowly, "Nare, you're not mad about-" "NO," she yells, losing her temper, "I'M FINE. Go home, Kiane." She spins on her heel. As she makes her way down the deserted school hall, her head begins to hurt. So does her heart. Why does her heart hurt? ------------------------------ She opens the door, sighing. "I didn't order pizza-" Lips crash into hers. She jerks in shock, but large hands encircle her waist, and she feels everything within her calm. She would know Kiane's warmth anywhere. He guides her into the house, his lips hot and heavy on hers. He kicks the door closed behind him, and pulls away from her to lock it. She stares at him in surprise. "What are you doing?" her voice sounds shaky, confused. Strained. His chest is heaving, and when he turns to face her, his cheeks are flushed. His eyes shine with a brightness that she's never seen before. It turns everything within her into soft sunshine. Love. He runs a hand through his hair, taking off his cap. His deep brown waves shake free, into his dark eyes. His gaze meets hers. It smoulders hotter than ever. In that moment, she understands. Nare Clemington is in love with Kiane Walters. "What am I doing?" he repeats, his voice a mosaic of husky glass and barely contained emotions. "I'm telling Nare Clemington that I've been in love with her since the day we kissed in the hall." Flowers bloom within her chest. Kiane makes flowers grow. She kisses him first this time. Everything fades away until all that's left is hungry lips and sweet tongues and roaming hands and burning fires and blossoming flowers. A thousand flaming dandelions.

BTS Reaction - Their child runs on stage
Anonymous said: Reaction when during concert their little child run up on star with tears and saying something like"daddy this song is beatiful, you sing perfect" and starts crying and hugging him and all ARMYS make one sound like "owwwh cute" and kid gets shy🙈
So I’ve decided to just come up with Korean names for each of their kids. I feel like that makes it a little more personalized, rather than just putting Y/K/N. Also, my name is Sarah. I’m American and only know a small amount of Korean, so if I screw up these names somehow...I am so sorry and please politely correct me lol. Enjoy!
I kind of wonder if Taehyung picked those names for his future children because Taekwon sounds like Tae Kwon Do...Taekwon literally means “kick hand”
Taehyung:
You were having trouble controlling your three year old, Taekwon, as he toddled around backstage, huge red earphones covering his ears from the noise of the concert. You brought him with often to BTS concerts, because he enjoyed being able to watch his dad, his uncles, and look at all the bright lights. Although normally, he wasn’t this nuts. Jimin’s wife must’ve given Taekwon a Popsicle or something earlier that day, because your kid was bouncing off the walls.
Whenever they preformed Spring Day, it would get everyone onstage emotional. Taekwon knew his dad’s voice - and would always ask you to pick him up and point out Taehyung singing his part in Spring Day. This time was no different, because your baby tugged on your pant leg and threw his arms up.
“Where daddy?” Taekwon asks in his baby voice, his hands gesturing out and his shoulders shrugging. You smile and point at the figure across the stage. Taekwon looks, struggles in your arms before you put him down and turn to grab a water bottle from the cooler on the floor.
As you’re digging in the ice for a cold bottle, you hear a huge chorus of “aww”’s coming from the stage, and the boys laughing. Securing yourself a water bottle and turning around, you glance up and notice that your son is not where you left him - and has run out onto the stage into his dad’s arms. You watched with a hand covering your mouth as Taehyung crouches to catch his son and hoists him up on his hip.
“Your singing is nice!” You hear your son say loudly into Taehyung’s microphone, and laughter rumbles throughout the arena.
“Thanks, buddy. Can you sing a song for us?” Taehyung asks, expecting his son to blurt out the words to Spring Day, but Taekwon begins to sing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star instead, which makes the entire arena resound with sounds of adoration.
Suga:
Twins. You and Suga never expected them in the first place, and it’s been a wild four years with them. Their birthday was soon, and you still remember the day they were born - Min Yoon-Shik first then Min Gi-Dae second.
The twins became more like their dad everyday, and you’d find the sisters singing along to all of BTS’ songs, and would try their hardest to rap alongside their dad in each song. They’d even try to learn the choreography - and while Suga wasn’t all that bad, the girls seemed to have gotten your side of the family: because there wasn’t a dancing bone in your body.
It was BTS’ last concert before they ended their latest tour, and you had decided to take the girls to this one to watch their dad preform. To say the least, the twins were extremely excited and kept their eyes focused on Suga the entire time. They even began copying his lyrics as he rapped them.
At the end of the concert, the boys sang Spring Day and had rose petals raining down on them, and the twins thought it was hilarious. Yoongi looked over to the side of the stage and an instant smile grew on his face at the sight of his baby girls, and he ushered the twins to come out on stage. Yoon-Shik and Gi-Dae looked at each other, then back at you for permission, then ran off onto the bright stage towards their dad.
"Can you teach us the dances for the songs?” Gi-Dae asked as Yoongi hoisted both her and her sister up in each arm. The entire arena sighed in awe, the other boys laughing at how cute Yoongi’s twins were.
“Ask Uncle Hobi for that,” Suga laughed jokingly, then kissed his daughters cheeks before setting them down. “Run along, I’ll see you in a few minutes loves.” He said aloud, before gently giving them little pats on their backs before turning around and thanking ARMY.
Jimin:
Jihyun was just like his father.
It wasn’t even funny - you swear you had no part in making your son because Jihyun was a spitting image of Jimin. It’s as if someone put Jimin in the copier and spit out Jihyun - all the same features and personality, just a different name, and much younger.
Jimin would often times take Jihyun to the studio because the five-year old loved watching the dance practices. Towards the end, Jimin would grab his son and teach him the moves - and his son would execute them almost perfectly. He was gifted, just like Jimin, and everyone saw it.
“Jihyun, stay here.” You said to your son, who was standing in the middle of the exit to the stage, watching his dad and uncles jump around as they began I Need U. Jihyun didn’t acknowledge your words, but tried his hardest to keep up with the minimal choreography he knew. It was adorable watching him spin around and trip over his feet - but he was better than any other five year old dancer you’ve seen (okay, maybe you were a little biased).
You didn’t realize it until you looked over on the TV screen to see your son just off to the left of the stage, visible to ARMY but behind the boys. Jihyun didn’t notice that he had veered too far onto the stage, and was too busy twirling around and singing along to I Need U to hear the ARMYs cooing.
You watched Jimin spin around when the song was done and lock his eyes on his son, immediately bursting into laughter and walking briskly over to Jihyun.
“Jihyun, you’re giving everyone a show!” Jimin laughed, scooping up his son and bringing him to the front. The five year old looked miraculously at his father but began to enjoy being on stage with his uncles, who all came over and ruffled his hair.
“I’m gonna be like you one day,” Jihyun said with a bright smile while looking up at his dad. Jimin threw his head back in laughter and appreciation while the ARMYs in the crowd continued to awe.
“I’m sure you will be, bud.”
J-Hope:
Just like that - Hokyong was out of your sight and ran right into her dad’s arms. The two year old was the most excitable, energetic kid you had ever come to know, but you’d never trade that for the world.
When Hokyong saw her dad, she would never hesitate to run over and hug him. It was just Hokyong’s thing - she’d laugh and toddle towards Hoseok with a big, toothy grin on her face. Your husband would just laugh right with her and cuddle his daughter in his arms.
“Look who has joined us today!” J-Hope said brightly into the microphone, glancing at his baby girl as she peered around with her hand stuck in her mouth. “Can you wave, Hokyong?” Her dad said, gently prying the hand out of the baby girl’s mouth.
Hokyong looked out into the crowd then shyly buried her face into her daddy’s shoulder, earning a huge, booming sound of adoration from the fans. The boys just laughed, Jimin coming over and patting your daughter’s back before looking back at you and shooting a thumbs up. You stood at the curtain watching, getting emotional at how perfect your little family was.
“Alright, baby. We have to finish the show, say bye-bye!” J-Hope said, putting the toddler down and grabbing her hand. Hokyong waved to the crowd before J-Hope walked her back to the side of the stage, kissing your lips before handing the baby back to you.
“My perfect girls,” he said, winking, before hoping back to his spot on stage and beginning BS&T.
Jungkook:
Your’s and Jungkook’s daughter had just turned a year old. She’d just began walking as well, and you decided to bring her to the last concert of the tour to celebrate her birthday with all the boys afterwards.
Jungmee was extremely intelligent, but very quiet and reserved. The baby girl had been a daddy’s girl from the beginning - always reaching for Jungkook when she was upset or wanted to be held. It was no surprise that Jungkook was the best dad in the world: he admitted he was nervous at first but seeing him with your baby girl was heart melting.
You sat with your daughter in your lap`as she stared out onto the stage, and from time to time, Jungkook would glance over and wave at you and Jungmee - winking and making silly faces. Finally, towards the end of the concert, you could tell your baby was getting tired. She was crabby, crying and struggling to get out of your arms, but whining when you but her down.
When you put her down on the floor for what must’ve been the 100th time, you hoped she would somehow fall asleep despite the music echoing around the arena. Jungmee was sobbing now, screaming incoherent words as she had a tantrum right then and there. You sighed and over the course of 15 minutes, you picked her up and rocked her, tried to console her with a bottle and then resorted to just swaying back and forth with her in your arms as she screamed.
Jungkook must’ve noticed, and had watched you struggle to keep Jungmee calm. With a smile playing on his lips, he jogs over and stands in front of you, placing his hands under the arms of your daughter before taking Jungmee into his arms. She stops screaming, of course, but still hiccups as leftover tears roll down her cheeks.
“W-what are you doing?” You stammered.
“I want everyone to sing her happy birthday. It was going to be at the end of the concert, but it looks as if you could use a break..” He said, giving you a little smile as he walked back off onto the stage, looking adorable as he held Jungmee in one arm.
“It’s Jeon Jungmee’s birthday...I think we should sing happy birthday, don’t you think?” Jungkook says, bouncing the now happy, tearless baby girl. The entire arena erupted, singing happy birthday to your little girl. By the time Jungkook came over and handed her back to you with a kiss on the cheek, Jungmee smiled as she drifted off as you held her against your shoulder.
Namjoon:
Namsang was the sweetest baby girl on the earth - except when she threw The Tantrum. Your baby girl wasn’t spoiled - not by you at least, since Namjoon always decided to bring the three year old little presents and toys home - but when Namsang pulled The Tantrum, all hell broke loose.
So the little girl decided to pull The Tantrum at the worst time possible - just as Namjoon kissed both of you and ran out on stage with the boys. Namsang reached out after him as he hopped away, her lip curling into a pout as she began to cry. As the boys were jumping around and dancing to their opening song on stage, you turned your back and tried to bounce your daughter into calming down.
Namsang began to kick and try to pull away, and after 10 minutes of fighting her, you set her down. You sat down in the chair beside the stage and rubbed your hand over your face, already all of your energy spent. This is what was bad about bringing a three year old to a three hour long concert - you never knew what would set off another screaming-fest.
When you opened your eyes again, you didn’t even realize your daughter was gone from your sight. You were just relieved that the screaming stopped - and then noticed that something was missing. Frantically, you searched around, behind curtains, under tables and in the surrounding rooms, until you heard Namjoon talking on stage.
“Namsang! Come here,” Namjoon said, and you turned your attention to the CCTV streaming the concert. The camera was pointed at Namjoon with his arms wide open, crouching down to catch his daughter in his arms. Namsang ran into her dad’s arms, earning louds screams from the fans.
“Aw, baby girl, what are you upset about?” Namjoon asks, wiping the tears from your daughter’s face with a small chuckle, picking her up and holding her close.
“I didn’t w-want you to leave, daddy.” Namsang said, sniffling. The other boys covered their mouths to hide their laughter while Namjoon just turned his head and said, “Aw, I’m sorry. But you’re here now, right? You don’t have to worry, baby.”
Jin:
There wasn’t a time in your house that nobody was singing. Someone always had a song stuck in their head, and your four year old, Jinhee, was no exception.
Seokjin was constantly teaching her the lyrics to various BTS songs, and she always begged to attend every concert her dad performed at. She loved singing along to I Need U, and Spring Day. Jinhee tried to dance to Not Today, but when she’d trip over her feet, Seokjin would tell her to keep trying her hardest.
Another thing Jinhee did was get emotional. At four years old, you would think she didn’t understand anything her dad and uncles were singing about, but oh man, she did. The little girl would ask what was wrong and why the people they were singing about were leaving in Spring Day.
You had left Jinhee standing at the entrance to the stage while you left to grab a snack from the waiting room. She was usually very obedient, and would listen to you when you told her to stay there. Although, when you walked back Jinhee was not where you had left her. You dropped the fruit snack you had snagged for her and immediately looked out on stage - and saw her running behind all the boys and heading straight for her dad.
“Daddy!” She hiccuped, and there were tears that ran down her cheeks. Seokjin turned around, eyes going wide at the sight of his daughter rushing towards him. He crouched down and held Jinhee in his arms, and you saw him wiping away her tears as he began to talk to her.
“Hey, what are you doing out here? Are you okay?” He asked, concern laced in his voice.
“I-I, the song is sad,” Jinhee cried, burying her face in her dad’s shoulder. Jin closed his eyes and laughed, picking her up and facing the crowd. The entire stadium was a mixture of laughing and cooing, and Jin waved before heading back to the side of the stage to put Jinhee down by you.
“Don’t cry, okay? I love you, stay with mommy.” Seokjin said, kissing his daughter’s forehead before looking at you with a small smile.
this killed me and I am so sorry it’s so late
