Unpopular opinion

The love Buck has found with the 118/Eddie does not negate the love he got from Maddie. It seems to me that there is a divide between the forms of love he has received and that if you talk about one then you don't care about the other. You can still appreciate the love Maddie gave him and continues to give him while seeing him find new forms of it with those he has in his found family.
