Among the paupers, Peter Parker is a prince. Somehow, with barely even two dimes to rub together, he manages to assemble the resources he needs to make a gift that is genuine, sincere, and heartfelt. It may not be worth much in the way of money, but it'll always come from his heart.
In the case of Tabby, he established that tradition with a birthday card he'd handmade for her all the way back in 6th grade. They hadn't even been attending the same school (and they never would) but a chance encounter between the two outcasts at a sports event had led to a fast friendship, handwritten notes, texting when they could finally both afford it... but gift-giving had truly begun with that card.
He could have asked Aunt May or Uncle Ben for a couple dollars to get her a Hallmark, something professionally resplendent -- and they would gladly have given him the money, at that -- but instead he had spent not just one evening, but two (one for design, one for execution) in the pursuit of making her something perfect, something unique... something that deserved the Peter Parker stamp. Because that's how rare and special friendship is to him, and has never once sought to take it for granted.
It has been a tradition he's stuck with ever since those days where life was relatively simple and all he had to worry about was his A.P. class load. Everyone important in his life would receive something lovingly handcrafted -- Gwen, Harry, Tabby, Beth, Ned -- and often he'd have to endure either their apologies about not having anything so unique for him in exchange, or a token protest of how he hadn't needed to go to such effort.
But he did, and he does. Because he's Peter Parker. And that's just the kind of guy he is.

Emma was near the top of the list . That was never in question in his mind . Leaning back into his chair, he drew in a long, deep breath , before moving his hands over his jeans .
" Well ... Mary Jane and I have been ... experimenting . With trying new things, and well ... " There was heat already pooling in his face, he could feel it. Talking about these kind of private things was rarely easy . " I want to be able to give her the absolute best that I can with this ... idea ... she's got . Peter blushed at the display, and cleared his throat in attempt to regain his composure. "Someone's in a good mood. That and I definitely enjoy the view." He said with a smile. "I wouldn't mind seeing more, actually. If that's what you're hinting at."
Either way, the display cheered him up a bit. Most of his day was spent patrolling as Spider-Man and doing some research. Thankfully the weekend had been pleasantly uneventful besides stopping what would be considered more typical crimes.

Backstory: Peter parker’s backstory is nearly identical to every other spiderman’s story. He got bit by a genetically modified spider that gave him superpowers, lost his uncle ben after he got killed by a mugger, and learned that great power came with a great amount of responsibility.
It wasn't until his junior year of highschool that things really started to ramp up for Peter. For the first time he now on top of dealing with the burglars has to deal with a bunch of superpowered villains that absolutely despise him for multiple different reasons. He’s been struggling trying to adapt to all the new changes in his life, and currently he’s also grappling with his own guilt after realizing his own impulsivity and recklessness possibly created a couple of the same villains he still fights to this day. Despite everything he deals with as Spider-man, Peter still tries to live as normal as a life as he can outside of his heroic duties. He still goes to school, he still has a side-job where he takes photos for the daily bugle occasionally for money, and he’s doing his best to try and have a social life again now that he’s able find balance again.
Extra Info: Peter is sort of Symbiote-phobic due to his traumatic experiences dealing with his universe’s symbiote, both when it was trying to control him and when it had bonded with Eddie Brock. The ladder having traumatized him so bad that now he looks over his shoulder near constantly whenever he goes out by himself.
Peter excels when it comes to science and math but he often struggles with subjects like English or Art due to him not being totally invested in those classes.
He made the spider-signal belt he wears when he was around 15, having gone through a couple prototypes of the signal before he finally settled on the model he wears now.
Peter is often a bit clumsy when he’s not paying attention to the world around him and his spacial awareness is also affected by how tunnel-visioned he gets while doing certain tasks.
Peter recently has not been really paying attention to when he gets injured (like when he gets bruised after a fight or when he gets a small cut somewhere) and he only starts to realize how badly he got hurt either when he touches the injury by mistake, or when the adrenaline wears off after the battle and he finally relaxes. This is not the case for when Peter injures himself to a larger degree however, regardless though he’ll just try to brush it off as “just a little scratch.” To avoid worrying anybody around him.
Peter’s sleep schedule is all out of whack due to everything he has to take care of in the day. So he doesn’t usually go to bed until like around from Midnight to 3am.

- The motel room is dimly lit, the neon sign outside casting an eerie blue glow against the cracked wallpaper. You shouldn’t be here. Not with him. Not like this. But you are. Bullseye leans against the doorframe, arms crossed, head tilted as he watches you with that sharp, calculating gaze of his. “You got a death wish, sweetheart?” he asks, but there’s something almost amused in the way he says it, like he already knows the answer. Like he already knows that you aren’t leaving.
- “If I did, I’d be dead already,” you answer, and that makes him grin, all teeth and danger. He takes a slow step toward you, his boots barely making a sound against the floor. “Yeah,” he murmurs, tilting his head. “Guess you’re tougher than you look.” His fingers brush against yours, a ghost of a touch, but even that is enough to send something electric skittering down your spine. He’s testing you, waiting for you to flinch, to pull away. You don’t.
- And that’s all the permission he needs. His lips crash against yours, all heat and hunger and something far more dangerous. Bullseye doesn’t kiss like a man who loves—he kisses like a man who consumes. His teeth scrape against your lower lip, his hands gripping your waist like he’s daring you to run, like he wants to see just how far you’ll let him go. He tastes like sin, like something forbidden, like trouble wrapped in leather and bad intentions.
- When he finally pulls away, his breath is uneven, his pupils blown wide. With all the practice that he'd gotten through throwing some of either the BEST or the WORST quips at his opponents over the years, it had to have been good for SOMETHING . Other than completely making sure those opponents wanted to KILL him even more . As far as he was CONCERNED , now was a PERFECT opportunity to use them , even with the SHAKE of the head he'd seen from Mary Jane.

Tony is the cutthroat CEO of Stark Industries and he does not fuck around when it comes to his company. Hires only the best and everyone knows he runs a tight ship. People have resigned from the job in tears, and during meetings, everyone is on edge because they’re not sure if one (or two) of them is going to end up packing their desk at short notice.
Tony’s very private around his life, so no one really knows if he’s married, or if he’s dating. He’s at work most of times, or flying off for business trips, and plus, people assume that no one would date a hardass like Tony Stark.
He’s also got a very strict “no-phone” rule that even he himself adheres to. But everyone is absolutely floored when Tony goes “oh fuck” under his breath during one of their monthly reviews and answers the call immediately. It could be the immense stress of the job, but everyone in that rooms sees the look of one-second panic that had flashed across Tony’s face.
“No, baby. Of course I didn’t forget. Yes, I know I promised I’d be home by 5. Yes, I did make the reservations like you told me to. Nope, of course not, honey. You’re absolutely right and I promise you I’ll let you yell at me later. I love you.”
Safe to say, everyone thinks they might have hallucinated that exchange betweeen Tony and his…partner?
“Alright guys, I’m calling it a day. Don’t fucking disturb me over the weekends. I’ve got lots of grovelling to do.”
Sometime later, everyone in the company finds out that Tony’s been married to the Peter Parker and it feels entirely impossible that someone like Tony Stark is completely powerless against his younger husband.

Peter squinted and tilted his head at the other man. "Really? Did I just get dunked on by another me?" He shook his head. "Wow, kinda bottom of the barrel, here. Or maybe some kinda existential… I mean, I love being me, but I don't always like me, so there's that? So I guess I get where you're coming from?"
But already the other man was turning around and walking away. Peter rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "Yeah, okay, I guess if I was you, I'd only feel like I could trust myself, too. Stranger in a strange land and all that."
Seeing the seriousness with which his counterpart faced him, though, Peter felt himself straighten a bit, and his expression set into something… cold.
"Uncle Ben was dead on the sidewalk by the time I got to him. All for a lousy bodega's cash drawer. I didn't even see the guy's face, just the tattoo on his arm. Never found him. And I didn't become Spider-Man because of the responsibility line… I just needed a disguise. The guys I was shaking down to find the shooter, they'd've hurt May or… or Gwen."
He stuffed his hands in his pockets and shrugged his shoulders almost all the way up to his ears, vanishing nearly the full length of his neck in the process. "Being responsible came later for me, I guess. And I get it, I'm not the kind of beast-mode, multiverse-hacking Peter Parker you're looking for, but… I haven't walked away yet."
He took a cautious step forward. "Look, just... okay, you told me all that and I really don't even know how to start carrying any of it. So gimme a chance to start wherever the beginning is. And for me, it's just to ask... what can I do to help you?"
"Geez, for a Peter Parker, you can certainly be a little prick." Peter huffed in disbelief, running a hand through his hair as he took a step back. The skate park was empty outside of the two of them. There was no risk here but what he felt completely exposed.
"Your Kingpin isn't into science-y stuff but mine was. His wife and son were killed in a car accident and he was trying to find alternate versions of them to bring back to our universe. He wanted his damn family back and he was willing to tear apart the fabric of reality to find them. When I first sneaked into the building, I heard some of the scientists talking about the different universes - the multiverse. They called mine either earth-118 or earth 1610."
It was becoming clear his pleas were falling on deaf ears. He was going to have to do things himself and hope for the best.
"You know what, never mind. Obviously, I fell into the universe with a dud of Peter Parker of all places!" Walking away, Peter paused after a few steps before turning back, the look on his face having to fallen to one more solemn. The thought physically hurt him but he had to ask, it was a last ditch effort to get this Peter to listen to him.
"Is your Uncle Ben still alive? Cause mine died in my arms after he was shot trying to stop a robber. He said with great power comes great responsibility...it's why I became Spider-Man."

Wincing underneath his mask as his body made it CLEAR the pain he was in, Peter at least TRIED to take some satisfaction from the sight of the UNCONSCIOUS villain laying amidst a room that looked more like a WARZONE than the BANK it had once been .

Someone To Watch Over Me (RP)

If anyone else bore witness to the way Peter rapped his knuckles against Tabby’s door, they would almost certainly think him mad, or at the very least attempting to playfully annoy the apartment’s lone occupant. But it was one among a series of cadences that they’d established to let each other know just who was on the other side. Who else in Tabby’s life was going to summon her to the beat of Papercut?
Even from out here, he heard her feet shuffling across her carpet and a quick stumble onto bare floor, and a series of rattling coughs that sounded like she was struggling to draw and hold deep breaths. Beneath the expectorating he could hear the shuddering of her heartbeat, though it was quickly overtaken by a faint whimper of discomfort and discontent.
From the other side, there were mumbles of protest, telling him now wasn’t a good time, she’d already texted him the symptoms, being here would only expose him to the gunk – all the things she’d already covered, all the things he knew she would say. Which sounded suspiciously like the sorts of things Aunt May would say, and it drew a quirky smile on his face. Tabby had picked up entirely too much from that woman, though it was certainly because May had been all too happy to teach her, and it spoke to how much she was adored by the Parker household. Even back to the days of Uncle Ben, Tabby had been a fixture in Peter’s life… and she was a stubborn reminder of times that were simpler and more carefree.
So how could he choose to not be here now?
“I mean, if that’s how you’re feeling about it, I guess I’ll take this soup Aunt May made back home with me,” he called through the door. “And all this pain relief and decongestant, what do you want me to do with that? Oh, and the chocolate, and the rental movies…”
He couldn’t be sure exactly which of his points inspired Tabby to pull her door open, but when the portal cracked and he saw the darkened bags underneath her bloodshot eyes, a measure of his playful snark dropped away.
“Wow. I thought I was the one having rough nights.”
Peter generally didn’t care for heavy amounts of eye contact, particularly not with those he cared about. Something in his heart told him it was a little too easy for his own eyes to betray him whenever he offered up an excuse for his flakiness. It was as good a reason for him to wear the mask as any other. Without that, he did have other methods… glancing about himself, finding spots of interest on the face or clothing of who he talks to, even pulling up his phone or checking his watch if it really came to it.
Yes, it was rude manners. But there was a reputation of obliviousness to maintain.
He held up the large paper bag, dangling it like a peace offering. “But like I said, I come bearing gifts, and if you don’t let me in, I’m just gonna have to play Linkin Park on your door until you do. Whole discography if I have to. You know, from the top to the bottom.”
He gave her a small smile, hoping at least that the continued appeals through a band she dearly loved would be enough for her to stand aside. When she unleashed another raspy cough into the back of her fist, he aimed for something less whimsical and more practical. “Hey, listen, it’s 4 pm and I’ll bet you’ve barely even had breakfast, other than flat Sprite and saltines. Before you go diving into the soup, let me throw something together that gets a little protein into you, too. I know you keep your fridge better stocked than mine but you’re in no shape to make food.”
