Gumshoe: Golden retriever -- I also considered bear (see below) but he's Edgeworth's dog so I ultimately had to go with ouppy

Edgeworth: Grey tabby cat -- not a lot of justification lol it just felt right. She didn't make it into this one but in my heart Franziska is a little black cat.

Maya: Chipmunk -- she was hard to decide on! I'm still not 100% sure the chipmunk thing comes across without a tail but if she looks more like a hamster that also works!

Phoenix: Hedgehog -- nothing else was ever seriously an option for him lol

Apollo: Rabbit -- again, an obvious choice!

Trucy: Rabbit -- obviously it matches Apollo, but I also enjoy the magician-rabbit thing!

Athena: Songbird -- again, he didn't make it, but I think she matches with hawk!Blackquill! I wasn't totally sure about making her a nonmammal though, so I also tried out fox

Mouse Phoenix was never really in the running, but I liked the thought of him matching Ryunosuke so I tried it out for fun lol. I liked the golden sunflower ears a lot. I'm still very fond of bear Gumshoe, and fox Athena is a bit too busy for my taste. but she's very cute too. None of them are supposed to have tails, but I cheated and gave her one anyway

it's official!!! after planning things out for a good few months now, im now able to publicly announce that ive moved from california up to british columbia, to live with my wonderful fiancé @sleevesareforlosers 💜

apologies for not mentioning anything sooner! while the process has been a long time coming, the actual move ended up being pretty sudden & we've spent the past week or so getting things hashed out government-wise. but now with my permit in hand i'm very excited to start this new chapter of my life living & working in canada. 🌈

obviously this has some pretty big implications for my online store & such! i still don't have my physical merch in hand yet so there's still a few months for me to sort all that out. thanks so much for being patient, everyone!

Time Spent: 3.5 hours

This was really fun!!! Done as a kinda collab with @cowcowwow where we decided on a prompt + characters to include beforehand, and then split up to make our own drawings!!! All the fun of a character/ship week, with the freedom of making it up with your friend :3

The prompt was "food", and characters were Liko and Iono!! Though floragato and Pagogo both made it into our drawings with em FBDHJF

Okay facts . thoughts . hm. thinkin here . the digital sketch was made as a combination of two other ideas! The iono ice cream, and one where they were trying to stack the HIGHEST ice cream cone they possibly could.

Though, as you can see, that second one then evolved into already having that giant ice cream as a little background gag.

GLOOGYY!!!!!! GRAHHHHHH!!!!!!!! You see the image is somewhat unclean here, of course, but would you like to know just HOW unclean it was when I first declared it finished?

THIS unclean!!! Though im QUITE proud of how that doesn't actually make it less readable or anything . My messy lineart does the trick 💯💯 heheeee

“there’s hogsheads of sperm ahead” Is actually a line said by starbuck (despite being the repressed little protestant loser he is /affectionate), in a completely normal context (re: the sperm whale oil they’re hunting). but in This context he’s a little 🧍 standing man emoji. 😌squirm little quakerman squirm
