Rosewood: Call him ' Dad ' and he will not take it at all sexually but instead be asking if they see him as a father figure. Just doesn't feel anything bout it and shrug his shoulders.

updating some of my google docs cuz I hadn't added Vivyin to them yet and continuing to be in the trenches (assigning classpects to all my trolls even though this information is not on any of my public profiles)

i think kurt was always aware that his life was. rough. to say the least, but he never felt that he could really complain, never felt entitled to it, because he also considered himself incredibly fortunate, with a more than less loving foster mother, friends & mentors in the circus, finding joy in playing his role within said circus for as long as they were independent, xavier being in the right place at the right time to pull him from near-death & giving him new purpose & new family ... add on a big bow of finding comfort in the catholic church holding all of that together, & for all the horrors he faced, he fell back on that faith when things were their worst, & when that faith failed to bring him the usual comfort: distractions it was, because if he keeps moving & compartmentalizes his focus then the big picture can't get to him. for a time.

& then margali turns him into a literal monster & orchis abuses the combination curse & brainwashing technology to make him a propaganda weapon & then krakoa goes to shit ... & the big picture is inescapable, no less because a fragment of legion embeds itself into kurt & reminds him of the big picture constantly, talking his psyche off about it at every opportunity. & it's only really then that it hits kurt that like. shit. it is a miracle he's still trying so damn hard to be a good person, that he even gives a shit about this world that will never be as kind to him as he's always been to it. he finally finds it in him that he can complain, very aggressively, even, that he deserves to complain about what he's had to put up with & what the world demands of him just because he doesn't hate it back. only to immediately be told good for you for realizing you're a person, now get back to helping the cause you were quite literally destined to be born into.

Hi, I am alive. Just been a tiring week and didn't have the spoons to be on Tumblr. At least I got to spend my birthday with family, and treated myself to a brand new gaming chair at last. It's One Piece Nami themed lol (but I'm a fake fan because I barely know the character/series and got it mostly for the colours). It fits my room and current setup so well! I got up today with a headache & a pain in my throat. Only to discover that there is no water in the tap and probably there will be none till late afternoon...and they knew it since yesterday as that what their website states...like you could text your customers or something...

On the bright side, there was enough in my kettle to make myself a coffee and still some is left. I need to work today, but luckily home office is an option. And perhaps they'd be done with the maintenance earlier...?
