Souji didn't forget!! Itsuki owed him a view of some of his swords!! He needed a few new blades for his cuter outfits. "Hey I'm here... sorry for the wait I had an appointment today and it went over..."

"Hey! If it isn't one of the finest beings in this hell hole city!" Needless to say, the local weaponsmith was happy to see Souji again, a sight for sore eyes to say in the least.

"Work keeping you? Ah, don't worry about it! Things happen, I get it, you here now, right? That's what counts." Itsuki lets himself laugh, brushing over any guilt over the other being late. "Come, your here to see some of the finer works, right?"

Huffy princess noises.  His face scarlet even with makeup covering him.  “It’s not as if I would expect the answer to change if I asked Ruse… but perhaps I wouldn’t seem so ignorant of the situation I merely–”  He was starting to ramble, so he took a breath and calmed down.  

Now he chuckling, such a flush reaction! “Relax princess, I jest, if anything you have a lesser chance of hearing a different answer from master then you would I, with his stead-fast loyalty.” ‘Master’, he must be referring to Ruse. “There is no need to act upset over this, it is not information you need know, so I would not make such a fuss over it.”

“Yeah. I never seem to get used to it.” She shivered, and wrapped the coat around her tighter. She was thankful that Tobias had gone out of his way to get it for her.

“I was thinking that myself. Bears had the right idea. Just eat and sleep all day, not having to worry about anything else. Wake up just in time for spring. Sounds pretty good to me.”

“Nothing to really worry for, but their food supply & anyone wandering into their dens. Ah, being an animal must be easy.” A small chuckle left him. “Though, perhaps I should not say such, I know some animals have it quite tough in the winter. Many a time have I found smaller creature only being able to take shelter under trees from the snow.”

“Oh I’m sure if you’re so well respected I’ll find something incredible!!!” He assured.  “I’m honestly interested in seeing your gunsword, though!! Sounds amazing!”

“E-eh?? You can?? What… what kind is it??”  He was excited now… curious to know what was on the other’s mind.

“It’s standard O katana, a reliable secondary if you need it, but the design on it is very cute. I think it will make your cute features perfectly~” Of course, he could make taking about weapons into a chance to flirt a bit more. “If you want to see it & Chittaha, I guess you’ll need to stop by the shop, hmm~?”

“…don’t worry I won’t cause so much trouble for you…” Sakura said softly.  “That was…. not the way one would like to breach such a subject…”  After all, he just got used to kissing Ruse….

“... Perhaps I should let you two talk this one out, hmm?” Itsuki will gladly take his leave of the situation now. He’s a tease, but not insensitive.

“... Believe my words when I say you are not the cause of the trouble here.” Sigh. “But you know you may speak to me about anything, no? Either as your protector, or simply Ruse, I am always willing to listen to your thoughts & desires.”

He only brightened up with a smirk, before directing Souji to follow him with a movement of his finger. A door was tucked neatly in the corner of the room, which Itsuki walked up to, to which he fished a ring of keys out of his pocket.

"Now, it's rude to ask a man his secrets. All I can say is I find inspiration out of anything & everything." He spoke as he filed through the keys, before picking out the one for the door, & promptly unlocking it. "Right this way, darling."

Inside, was of course just as Itsuki said, a massive arrange of beautifully stocked weapons, guns, swords, both heavy seted stuff, to even the simpler stuff, but the key draw away from anything in the front room was their designs. Guns with their barrels adored with imprints of women or words or whatever may have you, swords with their sheaths painted masterfully, hell, even a set of throwing knives were done with their blades fashioned as butterflies or hearts.

Flavorful... now that's more like it.

"Show the way..." he smiled softly. He did take mental notes as they walked past. They weren't bad... if he found some hunters struggling for quality, he may guide them here... he knew his fair share.

"Now... when we say artistic... is it safe to ask your secrets or is it too soon??"

"Like I said, I keep a fine array here." Everything was comfortably locked up in bulletproof glass, blades & guns alike. Most consisting of handguns, shortswords & longsword, with a shotguns & katanas to stand out. "I keep the more... shall we say, flavorful stuff in the back. If you need something more heavy or artistic."

"You charmer..." he giggled. "Yes, and I have my checkbook so if I like it it's coming home with me," he assured, walking over to the weaponsmith, all the while eyeing the other's wares. "The ones you have on display look plenty good as well..."

“Yeah… I always think of it that way as well… so I do take special care of it.  I do use other swords too, though so I will totally be looking at your other wares!!” he laughed. The sooner he moved from the subject of his family the better.  He had a new found family to protect.

He seemed to catch the drift in subject, but won’t stop Souji from doing so. He gets it. Loss is hard to talk about, even years later. “Hopefully you’ll find something that suits your taste, though I can already picture a sword that be prefect for you~” He teased.

“Y-yeah.. it’s the only thing I have left of him… of any of them…” He said softly.  He couldn’t find them anywhere, and if they were alive, he’d consider nothing short of a miracle.  “So I keep it with me… not just a partner but a lucky charm too, ya know?”

He nodded, he seemed to understand what Souji meant, even if he wasn’t being very clear about it. He was quite familiar with that situation, only he knew for sure that his were gone & buried. “Hey, I’m glad you have it.” Itsuki said softly, gently patting the other on the shoulder. “.. Not all of us get to kept mementos of those who were the closest to us. You got something priceless.”

“I’m sorry you have a what??”  Souji asked incredulously.  “A gun-sword?? No way!!! And yeah, a lot of hunters I meet are all guns blazing but Yasu has gotten me out of a lot of tricky situations,” he smiled.  “He’s a gift from my big brother… he gave it to me a long time ago.”

“It’s just a little something I made for myself, nothing fancy.” Itsuki made it sound so causal, even if a gunsword is the furthest thing from that. “Yasu must be special then, more then a good ‘old reliable’, don’t blame you in that case for not wanting to ditch it.”

“I appreaciate it!! I mean, I take care of Yasu well enough, but I can always use someone to take a look at my guns,” he grinned.  He was always taking care of his sword.  “Unless you also have whetstones and stuff I can buy off you because sometimes it’s hard to find!!”

“You kidding? I always got whetstones! I need to take care of the sword part of my gun-sword with something!” Itsuki chirped rather happily. “I have fresh swords & sword repairs too! I just love a good blade, I mean, I love guns too, but you’ll run out of bullets eventually! Can’t run out of steel!”
