i, like probably everyone else, assumed that was him signing 3-0-0 with his hands.

but no. he's signing F-0-0.

consider the ASL signs for F vs 3:

I find it very interesting that Color has preference for the Patience soul, because he can’t control his emotions and Patience keeps him calm.

I wonder if the Patience soul often helps him when going through meltdowns or panic attacks, when the internal experience with the other Souls gets confusing and overwhelming, or when something particularly distressing happens—such as whenever Nightmare forcibly changes Killer’s soul and things involving Nightmare directly. Maybe even when dealing with flashbacks or when something triggers Color.

Perhaps it can even be a little overbearing or particularly downright dangerous to rely on Patience so much. Such as in situations where fear or anger would serve Color greatly, yet Patience uses its influence to force him to be calm.

It could definitely be beneficial, but I can also see many situations where being calm when he knows he shouldn’t be would be distressing or maybe even inspire a feeling of helplessness. He should be angry, but why would he. There’s nothing to be angry about. He should be scared, but he can’t seem to be.

Imagine if the passive influence of the souls can get so heavy and bad, that trying to shake color out of it is neigh impossible and you just have to wait for him to pull himself out of it.
