Atticus always seemed to have a way of being simultaneously extremely overwhelming and extremely comforting to his anxious heart, like being tucked under the world's heaviest blanket made of the world's softest material.
He never realized just so badly he needed to hear that from someone, and yet it's something he's always wanted. He clings even harder, gripping the other Kai like a life preserver, so tightly his hands and arms are tembling with the effort. The floodgates open and all those tears he was trying to hold back forcefully stream down his cheeks.
"That's all I want!" He wails. "That's all I want, more than anything in the world!" He gasps deeply for air. "Y-You're one of the best things that's ever happened to me, a-and I'm glad we met! And I'm sorry I can't go through a single step of this lasagna process without crying! I-I just...!"
He doesn't even have a good excuse, and he can't help but feel a little disappointed in himself for doing this all over again, but he at least knows Atticus will still love him all the same.
-This wasn’t exactly the response Atticus expected to hear back from Bragi after telling him those infamous 3 words but.. it was just as perfect. Even though Bragi didn’t actually say “ I love you too “, he knew he did. In his heart, he could see Bragi loved him just as much or even more than how much Atticus loved him back. Even if Bragi never said it, he would still be content with himself. He doesn’t need to hear him say it as sweet as it would be.. by spending time like this with Bragi, he can see how much that boy really cares for him.. how much he admires him and enjoys his company-
-Atticus hugs Bragi back, rubbing the top of his head gently with his fingers caressing through his hair. Smiling down at him in a sincere gaze-
“ We’ll have many more opportunities to have just as much fun as we’re having right now, Bragi.. I assure you. In-fact.. I promise we will. No matter what happens, I’ll be by your side and we can enjoy each others company forever.. just like you said. And no matter who comes in my life.. I’ll never love nobody like I love you, Bragi “
-he leans down and gently kisses the top of his head before going back to rubbing his hand on-top of it-
#fruityjunction#((it's not enough to hug Atticus he needs to clip through him lol))#((he can't do that but he CAN cry so much all the time forever))

Pls do something with peacekeeper!Coriolanus I have yet to see anyone do that trope + I feel like he’s more mean and protective in that era
mastermind |peacekeeper!coriolanus snow x capitol!reader|
prompt: based off above prompt, but wanted to tweak it a teeny tiny bit so this is how coriolanus meets capitol!reader. the plot of the original film is altered a little to fit this.
contains: tw- violence, guns, shooting. dark, protective, manipulative coriolanus. not super heavy, but there are some kinda darkish themes so read at your own discretion.
“Snow,” Commander Hoff’s gruff voice rang through the doorway, hitting Coriolanous head on, his heart lurching with fear. They found out about Lucy Gray, that she’d escaped after Mayfair and Billy’s death. Or maybe worse, maybe she hadn’t headed north, maybe she’d told them.
His mind raced as he took a step forward, helmet in hand respectfully, hoping Hoff wouldn’t see the way his hands trembled. “Commander, Sir.” Snow held his head high. If this was to be the end, he wouldn’t go out crying. Not like Sejanus- no, Corio would have pride.
Hoff set the papers down on his desk with a huff, head jerking back for Coriolanus to come towards him. “Snow, I need you to escort Miss Duke to the Mayor’s office.” He nodded towards the corner. “I guess with the recent tragedy of his daughter, Mayor Mayfield’s mind has been elsewhere. He didn’t get his quarterly tesserae count turned in. The Capitol sent Miss Duke to get them, so make sure she gets there.”
Coriolanus’ eyes wandered to you, standing in the corner properly, hands clasped elegantly in front of you. A shining beacon in the dark skies of the coal country, a glimmering ray of good after all the bad Corio had. He could tell you were from The Capitol, though you tried to dress more humbly for the visit to the district, he supposed.
You gave him a smile, and for a moment, Corio’s heart leapt with excitement. That familiar rush of heat returning, coursing through his chest. “Private Snow will take you there, Miss Duke. He’s one of our best. On his way to officer training in Two. You’re in good hands.” Commander Hoff nodded.
You thanked him quietly, kitten heels clicking across the hardwood floors. Coriolanus followed you, trying to keep his stoic expression, though his eyes wandered to the swell of your ass, hugged perfectly in your dress.
“Snow,” Commander Hoff called before he left. “A word?”
The icy chill of fear flooded back into Corio’s system, gripping the knob. You didn’t seem to notice, nodding politely, shutting the door behind you.
“Sir?” Coriolanus swallowed the lump in his throat, approaching the desk slowly.
Hoff leaned back in his chair. “You know who that is, right?”
Coriolanus blinked. His mind had been so occupied with his impending doom, his fate had seemed to turn and tread on the worst sides of things, he was so sure it would continue. “Miss Duke?”
Hoff blinked at him, laughing softly. “Yeah, Duke, Snow.” He pressed. Coriolanus felt dumb, small like he did when he talked to Highbottom. “Snow, does the name Atticus Duke mean anything to you?”
Coriolanus' eyes widened lightly, turning towards the door in surprise. “Atticus Duke? The-”
“-The man who owns half of Panem?” Hoff snorted lightly. “Yeah, that’s his youngest out there. Only girl, alright?”
Coriolanus felt his curiosity peek. He’d been wallowing in the loss of Lucy Gray, he didn’t even put it together. Thinking you were just another Capitol girl. Not the Duke Heiress.
“Yes, sir. I-I see that now.” Corio nodded dumbly.
“Good. So you know that her father paid for the destruction of the rebellion? That he funded the Capitol? And that if these people see her, those fucking Rebels are likely to want to hurt her?” Hoff pressed, his eyes narrowed in seriousness. “And that if something happens to her, our entire platoon will be hanging from that tree- or worse?”
It shouldn’t have made Coriolanus as excited as he was. The thought of having that much power. He could easily have that level of control, have people quaking with fear- even the powerful ones, trembling at his feet the way Atticus Duke did. Oh, how he envied it. How he craved it.
“Yes, sir.” Coriolanus nodded.
“Snow, listen to me.” Hoff sat up straight, leaning over the desk. “If any of them get close to her, no mercy- do you understand?”
Coriolanus nodded again, spine straightening with authority. “I have others trailing and leading the both of you- crowd control, but I wanted her to feel safe. Feel welcome. So I stuck her with you. Figured a familiar face from the Capitol would put her at some ease. Keep her from telling her father something that would have him questioning my rank and order around here.”
“I understand, Commander.” Coriolanus said firmly. “I’ll keep her safe.”
“Wow,” You muttered, looking around the cobbled street. The Peacekeepers ahead of you barking orders, scaring off any pedestrians wandering about. “Is it always like this?”
Corio blinked, his gun cradled in his hand, finger on the trigger- ready. “Always like what?”
“This,” You waved around you. “It’s very…”
“Depressing?” Corio muttered, a grumble, eyes scanning the perimeter in front of him over the gray skies and smog filled air.
“Yeah.” You smiled softly. “I pictured it… prettier?”
“It’s the coal district, Miss Duke.” Coriolanus said, the barrel of his gun pointed for backup at a scurrying coal miner.
“So that’s what makes it so sad?” You challenged, brow raised.
Corio didn’t answer. He knew what you were implying, and he wouldn’t humor it. Instead, his eyes scanned the street. “May I ask why you’re here?” You asked, tilting your head to the side.
“What?” Corio snapped, harsher than he meant to.
“Why you’re here?” You repeated. “I, uh, I don’t want to sound rude. I just- I saw you on the games. You were the mentor who won. I just, I figured you would be at University with the others.”
“I made an enemy. A powerful one.” Corio quipped shortly, jaw set. He couldn’t let his mind race and spiral, not now. He needed to stay focused.
“Oh,” You muttered, looking down at the wet, broken road. “I’m sorry.”
Corio’s heart skipped, maybe with joy, maybe with fear. “May I ask you why you’re here?” Coriolanus asked, eyes cutting down towards you.
“I have to get the count for the tesserae.” You motioned towards the Mayor’s office before you. “I have to take them back to The Capitol.”
“Yes, but,” Corio paused, scanning the area. “You’re- Surely, you don’t need to do that, Miss Duke.” He muttered, voice dropping to a low octave.
You blushed, sheepishly looking towards your shoes, ruined from the muck in the road. “So, Commander Hoff briefed you on me?” You grinned.
Coriolanus didn’t answer. “I already knew.” He lied easily, eyes cutting to you. “We’ve met before. In passing. I was Sejanus’ friend.”
“Oh,” Your face fell. “Right. I-I am so sorry for your loss. It was-”
“-Yes.” Corio nodded, the bile rising in his throat. “We-We met at the Academy’s Ball two springs ago.”
You turned, looking at him fully for the first time. He tried not to blush, icy eyes meeting your own for a moment. “That’s right.” You grinned. “You-You had longer hair. Tigris’ cousin?”
“Yes.” Coriolanus nodded.
“She was apprenticing for my aunt.” You smiled softly.
Corio looked at you, his rigid posture slacking just for a moment, relaxing in your presence. “Why aren’t you doing something like that?” He asked, brows furrowing for a moment. “Or in University, yourself. Surely that would be… more appropriate than this.”
You bit back a smile, chin ducking down. “Maybe.” You shrugged. “I like this job, though. I get to see the Districts.”
“Why would you ever want to do that?” Corio snarled lightly. “I can’t wait to get out of them. Get away from these people.” He muttered bitterly.
You blinked at him, eyes narrowing lightly, stopping before the steps of the Mayor’s building. “You seemed quite fond of that song bird you helped win.” You countered. “And she was among these people.”
Coriolanus was stunned, mouth opening stupidly, before swallowing his jumbled words. Instead, he offered you his arm politely for you to steady yourself on while you climbed the steps to the Mayor’s office.
Coriolanus waited outside the office at attention while you collected the tesseraes for the quarter from a distraught, and clearly drunken, Mayor Mayfield. His slurred speech, pores sweating out whiskey soaked odor.
You took the envelope, thanking him before quickly slipping out. Coriolanus stood beside you, falling back into step with you, the other Peacekeepers joining around the two of you.
“You’re returning to The Capitol today?” Corio asked, though his eyes stayed straight ahead.
“They asked me to stay the night.” You answered simply. “Something about a train leaving in the morning?” You looked at him carefully. You knew he was to join you with the others. You’d given the orders from Dr. Gaul to Commander Hoff that morning.
Coriolanus frowned, turning to you curiously. “Tomorrow? Why would they make you-”
The ravenous bark of Peacekeepers in front of you made you jump, a deranged looking man, covered in soot from the mines, charging at you with a vengeful pace. You froze, clutching the envelope in front of you like a shield, glued to the concrete in pure fear.
“Gimme that envelope, you stupid bitch!” The man roared, mere feet away from you. “Get my daughter’s name outta there! Take it out!”
You flinched, bracing for the impact of him hitting you, his body hurling towards yours. It never came. Instead, a shot behind you had a gasp tearing from your lungs. The bullet so close to your own head, you heard it whizzing past you like the June Bugs that flew in the fields in the countryside of the district.
The man grunted, a bloody gurgle, a crimson patch seeping through his stomach. The other Peacekeepers seized him, shouting and grabbing at him, hauling him away roughly. Your hand trembled, pressing to your lips. Coriolanus stood behind you, gun lowering, finger still on the trigger.
His face was hard, stoic, eyes narrowed dangerously- furiously. “Come on.” Coriolanus muttered, a hand gently on your back, guiding you forwards. The crowds were peering, poking around at the sound of gunshots, the groans and screams of the man. “We need to get you to the Commander’s Quarters.”
“Snow, hey, look we-we didn’t see him-” One Peacekeeper jogged frantically, hands trembling in fear. “He just- He came out of nowhere. I’m so sorry, Miss.”
“It’s alrig-”
“-Come on.” Coriolanus hissed, cutting your apology off short. “We need to get her back quickly. Can you manage that?” He snapped at the other boy.
The other boy faltered for a moment, scrambling back into line. You were still shaking, pushed into Corio’s side far closer than what would be appropriate for two strangers. “He-He was just saying sorry.” You muttered, your own eyes scanning around you.
“He nearly got you killed.” Coriolanus snapped, his eyes hard but they never met your gaze, scanning around you protectively. “His carelessness nearly cost you your life.” Cost us all our lives, Corio thought.
You didn’t respond, only stepping with his quickened pace.
“Are you alright?” You asked Coriolanus, peeking around the corner of the train station towards him.
He was surprised to see you, though he supposed he shouldn’t have been. He assumed the ‘Princess of Panem’ would have her own private carriage on the train, not subjected to riding with him.
“I think I’m supposed to ask you that.” Corio gave a half smile, a tone much lighter than it was before.
You blushed, looking down. “I’m alright.” You sighed lightly. “I told your Commander that. I promise I don’t need an escort back to The Capitol.”
Coriolanus looked down at his bags. “I’m not- I’m returning to The Capitol as well.” He said, chest boasting at the words.
“Oh?” You lifted a brow. “No District Two?”
“No,” Corio shook his head. “I’ve been asked to return.” It was vague, and he knew it- knew it piqued your interest.
“Well, congratulations. I’m sure your family will be excited.” You smiled politely, lifting your own overnight bag when the train doors opened.
“Here,” Coriolanus stopped you, reaching for the strap of the bags. Your hands brushed in the smallest way. Overlapping as he took the bag politely, a surge of electricity jolted between both of you, rapid sparks that would crescendo in the days, weeks, years to come.
You blushed, turning your head to hide the way it flustered you. It was so embarrassingly juvenile, his eyes sparkling, lips tugging in a grin when he looked at you, pinky grazing over your knuckle just for a moment before he held the bag.
“Allow me.” Coriolanus was smug, proud, pulling the bag up. He let you on first, placing the bags away, eyes cutting towards you. You were stealing a glance at him, turning after being caught sheepishly.
You had the window seat, looking out at the smoggy station. “Is this seat taken?” Corio asked, hand resting on the arm of the seat next to you.
You shook your head, moving your hands to your lap. You were so poised, Corio knew it had been drilled into your head since you were young, just as it was to him. His mind raced with excitement, the idea of getting you to be so improper, defile you.
“Do you know your orders once you return?” You asked, looking at him carefully. The trains whistle trilling in the background.
“I’m not sure.” It was a complete lie, he only knew a fraction of what awaited him when he returned. All the more reason he needed an ally, a powerful one at that.
“Why?” Corio pressed, leaning forward to look at you. His dog tags hung loosely around his neck, draping over his underclothes of his uniform. It made your heart race.
“I was just curious.” You shrugged, swallowing gently.
“You were wanting to see me again?” Corio pressed, boldly. His heart skipped when you whipped around, staring at him with a wide eyed expression.
“W-What?” You choked out, trying to remain calm, composed, but your heart was beating so fastly you were sure it would burst.
“Were you wanting to see me again?” Coriolanus hummed, shifting in his seat to turn towards you. You were pressed against the glass, pinned by his gaze. “Because I was hoping to see you again. If you’d have me.”
“You would?” You squeaked, sure that your fluster was apparent all over your face.
“If you’d let me.” Corio purred smoothly. “I’d like to take you out sometime. Get to know you better. I’m very,” His fingers brushed over your own hand, satisfied at how you shuddered. “Interested in getting to know you.”
You swallowed. No man had ever been so direct with you. He’d saved you the night before, so effortlessly. The feeling of his bicep around you, shielding you away, strong and steady. It had you sneaking your fingers between your thighs later that night shamefully at the thought.
“I-I would like that.” You nodded, mind screaming when his hand held your, cradled with such care, you almost forgot how brutal he was yesterday.
“Tomorrow?” Coriolanus asked, head tilting to the side. He wanted to set the date before you forgot, before you had time to ask around about him or think too much about his actions before.
“That-That would be lovely.” You nodded, tongue swelling thickly in your mouth, heart hammering as he pushed closer and closer.
His hand cradled your jaw softly, thumb stroking over your cheek bone. “May I?” Corio hummed, eyes lustful.
You nodded. You weren’t quite sure why, you’d certainly never done something like this before. But then his lips were on you, hand cradling your jaw, moving to the back of your head gently. He migrated into your chair, somewhere between the Districts, hands on your back, pulling you in closer and closer. He kissed you like a man starved, possessively and passionately all at once- it made your head spin.
It dawned on Coriolanus, what Dr. Gaul was talking about. Sacrifice, while brutal, was necessary. Losing Lucy Gray, Sejanus, without that would it have ever brought you to him? He would be in the woods, starving with a girl who nearly used him to survive, or hanging from a tree next to Sejanus. Certainly not sitting side by side in the train car, stealing small smiles and gentle kisses with you. His fate had turned, re-routed and he could see it now- his future, his empire with you.

...
The morning sun filtered weakly through the dusty windows of your family’s estate, casting long shadows across the dark polished floors. Your trunk had been packed and was waiting by the door, but there was no excitement in the air - no flurry of emotion or tearful goodbyes, just the same quiet routine that had marked every parting before.
Your family wasn’t the warm, demonstrative type. Stoic, reserved, and deeply rooted in tradition. They valued dignity and loyalty over grand displays of affection. Your parents, sitting stiffly at the breakfast table, looked at you with the same measured gaze they always had.
“You’ll take care of Atticus while I’m gone?” you asked, breaking the silence as you stared down at your family’s hound. He lay dejected, head on his paws as he sensed you were to leave.
Your father nodded, folding his copy of the Daily Prophet, neatly setting it down. “Of course, the dog's not going to die just because you’re away for a few months.” His voice calm, assuring.
Your mother, as usual, said very little, merely glancing over with a raised brow. Her cold, penetrating gaze was her way of reminding you that even through you were leaving, expectations remained. No words were needed, You would carry the family’s reputation with you to Hogwarts, as you had always done.
The silence stretched awkwardly, and you felt the weight of it pressing down on you. Finally, your father rose to his feet and straightened his robes. “Be mindful of your studies. A colleague from the Ministry will be instructing at Hogwarts this year, I’ve asked her to keep a watchful eye on you.”
“Yes, Father,” you replied. Your parents had always held the Ministry and its employees in high regard, disappointing one of its enforcers meant disappointing them.
With nothing else to be said, your mother gave you a curt nod of farewell, and with that, you were on your way to King’s Cross.
...
The bustle of King’s Cross was a familiar chaos as you pushed your trolley towards Platform 9 3/4. The usual mix of excitement and nervous energy bussed in the air as students and their families hurried to make the train. First-years hugged their final goodbyes to tearful parents and students reunited with friends after a long summer apart. You moved through the crowd like a ghost - just another face in the sea of witches and wizards.
Once through the barrier, the sight of the Hogwarts Express filled you with a sense of bittersweet nostalgia. This would be your last year at the school, this was your seventh and final year, and though Hogwarts had never felt truly like a home, as it did for some students, there was still a sense of sadness and finality in knowing this would be your last time boarding the train.
Dragging your truck behind you, you maneuvered through the narrow corridor of the train, searching for an empty compartment. It seemed that every compartment was full, filled with chattering students catching up on summer news. You finally found one that was almost empty - save for a single first-year sitting timidly in the corner. You offered them a brief nod before claiming the seat furthest from the door, settling in with a book to pass the time.
It wasn’t long before the door slid open again, and to your dismay, your eyes landed on two familiar figures standing in the doorway - Fred and George Weasley. A third figure, Lee Jordan peered behind the tall shoulders of the twins to inspect the compartment.
“Oi looks like this is the last half-empty compartment,” Fred said with a grin, his eyes landing on you with a mischievous wink.
You met his gaze with an unimpressed look, immediately recognizing the twins from the unfortunate encounter in your family’s shop over the summer. Of all the compartments on this train, of course, it had to be them. Just your luck.
George’s expression darkened slightly when he saw you, the memory of your sharp words and cold demeanor still lingering. His twin didn’t seem as fazed, stepping around him and inviting himself into the compartment.
“Well, well, well look who it is. Our lovely friend from Knockturn Alley,” Fred teased as he slid into the seat across from you. The timid first-year shifted awkwardly in their seat, trying to become one with the wall of the train. “And here I thought you never left that creepy old shop.”
George remained standing for a moment, his eyes flickering between you and his brother before he reluctantly sat down beside you, attempting to put as much space in between your bodies as possible on the narrow bench. His lively demeanor was noticeably muted, and you could sense the tension between the two of your the moment he entered the cabin.
Lee squished himself in between the two of you, providing a barrier of relief to whatever animosity seemed to so clearly radiate between you and the redhead.
You return your attention to your book. “If you have to be here, could you at least keep it down? Some of us are trying to get through the train ride in peace.”
Fred let out a mock gasp, feigning offense. “Trying to study already? It’s the first day back, lighten up. We’ve got a whole year of misery ahead of us - though maybe that’s what you’re into.”
You turned the page of your book without responding, determined not to be drawn into whatever game Fred was trying to play. You could feel George’s gaze lingering on you, his silence heavier than the teasing banter from Fred. He hadn’t said a word since entering the compartment.
“Do you ever talk? Or is being a moody Slytherin just part of the charm?” Fred continued, clearly amused by your indifference, and determined to get a rise out of you.
You sighed softly, closing your book with a snap and meeting Fred’s eyes with a level stare. “What do you want Weasley?”
“Ah, so you can speak!” Fred grinned widely.
“We’ve never seen you at Hogwarts before,” George said, his voice quieter than usual, but still carrying that hint of challenge that was so present in his brother. “It’s our seventh year, you’d think we’d have run into each other at some point.”
You shrugged, “I’ve been in both of your classes before, unlike you, not everyone makes a habit of being the loudest in the room.”
Fred’s eyebrows shot up in amusement. “So you’re the brooding quiet type? We do love a mystery, huh Georgie?” He quipped, winking at his twin.
Out of the corner of your eye, you see George send his brother a look of warning. Fred only smirked back, clearly enjoying himself. You began to regret ever sitting in this compartment. Even a seat next to Malfoy and his poor-mouthed git friends would be more peaceful than this.
“I’ve heard enough about the two of you to last a lifetime,” you said, your tone cold. “You have big personalities, hard to miss even if I try.”
Fred chuckled. “We do tend to make an impression. And what’s your story, then? Hiding out in the shadows all these years?”
You could feel George’s gaze fixed on you, meeting his eyes an unreadable tension filled the room. Lee shrunk back in his seat, feeling just as awkward and confused.
Leaning back, “I just mind my own business, can’t say I’m very interested in disturbing the school with pranks.”
Fred, sensing the strange tension between you and his twin, perked up in his seat, drawing your stare back, away from his brother. “Well whatever your business is, it must be dreadfully boring if it doesn’t involve any fun. You know we could fix that for you.”
You rolled your eyes, “I think I’ll pass you up on the offer, thanks though.” Your voice deadpan as you returned your attention to your abandoned book.
The train rattled on, and though you tried to lose yourself in your book once more, you couldn’t quite shake the feeling that the Weasley twins' presence was going to make this final year at Hogwarts far more complicated than you’d expected.

🌊Young Fun💦
Previous~ Back with Open World and Thirteen, Marina and Atticus 🥰💕 This update is mosty smut btw lmao!
The sunset started to settle in the sky after a little stop by Marina’s home. Tortuga was nice and tired even after napping while they ate and the fish and seafruit Marina had caught earlier needed to be deposited in the reservoirs for fresh keeping; and her little brother would be dying to see her, if just for a few minutes, before he was put to bed. Marina walked out the front door soon after, all smiles as she met back with them and announced they were ready to fully appreciate the sunset together. It was a short walk to the shore, down the rocky sandy path straight from Marina’s to the sound of the waves. The humid air hugging them tighter the closer they got. No words spoken, only Marina smiling their way when all three came to a stop at the exact place where water licked the sand, excited for them to see the beauty they’d just described to them; as though Thirteen were about to open a gift. A little cheesy, more than a little emotive, Marina took Atticus’ hand on her right and theirs on her left. Everyone looking at each other expectant as the sun slowly started to reach the horizon, the warm yellows and pinks bleeding to violet and the light of the stars slowly blinking to life. And then the sun fully hides behind the sea, and an unnatural glow shines from the synergy of the sun and the night sky; barely the couple seconds that it takes for the sun to stop being visible altogether. Thirteen’s already gaping at the mouth, eyes wide and sparkling like the stars shine one them too; “wait, wait– here comes the best part!” Marina chippers their way, squeezing their hand as their whole attention turns back to the sea. Slowly, the water starts to earn it’s own colors; like the lights of the midnight market back in the forest, the coral and the fish slowly twinkle to life as the moon above becomes brighter. Ethereal light glowing from below the water and Thirteen feels their feet take them right in and until they get wet. Then a hand’s pulling them back and it’s Marina with that look she gets when she’s got something up her sleeve, “wanna go skinny dipping?” She asks all giddy, and Atticus’ eyes nearly jump out their sockets and his face burns up but, in his own way, he looks just as excited as she does; naturally, Thirteen says ‘yes, please’. The water’s warmer than they expect, calming the chill from the breeze and easing the ache from the day’s exercise; their clothes safe and dry on the rocky formations out the water. Marina and Atticus’ movements are as graceful as earlier, even on low water, Marina’s hair seems to never be too wet to get messy, and Atticus tail seems to follow the flow of the water so naturally it almost gets lost in it. Thirteen is almost too busy watching the lights to notice them kissing, until they get called in close. It starts as mindless playing, Marina exploring Thirteen’s body like she did the first time they met this up close; in wonder of the way the light shines in their much darker skin, unlike how it does on hers or her partner’s. Then everyone’s touching, and somehow they all gravitate towards a nearby rock to get comfortable and Thirteen ends up following Marina’s guidance in making Atticus mewl a little. Doing a little exploring for themself, on the lines and curves and light peach fuzz that seemed to cover his whole body, while Marina mouthed at his sensitive neck and scritched at his nape, her fingers drumming over his skin. Thirteen wouldn’t have done it on their own accord, not in this situation, but one look and one guiding hand atop their head has them catching on and kneeling between the cat-hybrid’s trembling knees. Shaky breaths and scaredy mewls out his lips when he realizes what’s going on, Marina’s hands and lips and words gentle and appeasing as Thirteen figures out what makes him purr.
It’s a nice length, soft yet heavy on Thirteen’s hands, and warm on the tentative tongue they settle the head on; Atticus gasping over so little. It’s encouraging. Thirteen wrapping their lips around his dick to suckle and swipe at the head while Marina traces his shaky abdomen and teases his nipples. Atticus’ thighs threaten to close on them at a particularly mean suck, so Thirteen rests on one to avoid being thoroughly crushed, and for their hand to better reach the base of his bluish cock, getting darker the more he’s teased; the harder he gets. Thirteen’s hands squeeze and pump at what’s not in their mouth, relishing in the little cries and the sudden jumps of his muscles as both of them tease and play him to their hearts’ extent. Confused when Marina leaves his side and whispers something in Thirteen’s ear; making them stop completely. Follows them with dazed eyes and a question hanging from his lip as Thirteen climbs all over him and Marina settles on his lap; nearly loses his breath when she sits on his dick. He gets the message when Marina holds on to Thirteen’s chest, balancing their weights on each other, and clamps his arms under Thirteen’s thighs and pulls them up the rest of the way to his face, drowning on their pussy while Marina tortures him with tiny thrusts and rolls of her hips; squeezing him with her warm walls and pinching at Thirteen’s nipples with her fingers. The growing waves drown out their collective cries, the pants hidden by the crashing of water against rock and splashing of their own movements, everybody’s limbs tingly and shivering with every rock of Marina’s hips jumping under Atticus’ hips rutting needy and fast, and his mouth working Thirteen’s cunt deep with a tongue raspier than they expected. Bullying their clit like they bullied his cock. Everyone blanks out one after the other, holding on for dear life to whoever’s at arms’ reach until the high of the orgasm lets them think clearly and melt into the water to chill out their overheated bodies. “I’m gonna sleep like a rock–” Marina chuckles between heavy breaths; standing on jiggly legs until Atticus helps her deeper into the water. Splashes his own face clean and smiles sheepishly, and nicely tired, at no one in particular. The chilling of the night breeze forces them out the water some time after, pulling them from quietly watching the glow beneath the waves; only breaking the peace to point at funny fish below. Everyone shivers a little on the way back, the dry clothes damping over their wet skin, less on Marina than on them – with the way her body seemed to repel water, that the growing winds were quick to cool with every hit. It was easy to forget Atticus's family came from money, and then things like this would happen where his folks would send a servant to pick him up from Marina’s when it got too late, brought him a change of comfy clothes and a towel because they were aware of Marina’s antics. Aid Atticus begrudgingly agrees to, with some shame to his posture after a shy ‘it’s ok’ is not taken for an answer. Atticus would’ve rather walked back chittering cold, is what Marina tells them as Atticus’ fancy ride leaves, just a short walk away from Marina’s home. She knows he comes from wealth, and it doesn’t matter much to her, but Atticus would rather these little displays of it would be dialed down to nothing. Not that his parents would let that happen, they’re a bit overprotective that way; took them months to be convinced Marina wouldn’t lose him in the water.
When they enter Marina’s home, her parents are getting finished with dinner and about ready to put themselves to sleep; they welcome them, and ask their whereabouts. Marina lies with such surprising ease from someone so open; although it’s not like she lies completely, or that Thirteen would’ve preferred she told the truth. She tells them they showed them the sunset and the night glows, and then lost time playing with the water, it’s why Thirteen was so damp. They take it with a little grumbling from her dad, for being out so late, but he’s appeased by Marina kissing him on the cheek goodnight. Her parents have prepared a bed for them on Marina’s room, Thirteen wasn’t even sure where they’d stay the night, to be honest, but it’s clear they wouldn’t have allowed it any other way. Atticus and Marina both have something nice here, something warm and homey, it gets Thirteen thinking about family again; wondering aimlessly until sleep overtakes them.
sigghhh uwu I love lewding up my ocs and smashing them together like barbies lmao ✨ hope you enjoyed ✨

In honor of my 20th birthday, I would like to present:
The GX cast and how they react to people singing “Happy Birthday” to them
Jaden/Judai: sits there awkwardly and only makes eye contact with whoever brought out the cake
Syrus/Sho: also sitting there awkwardly, but makes eye contact with literally everyone
Chazz/Manjoume: the level of tension between everybody is extremely high. atticus is the only one singing at any volume level. deep down, the chazz loves it.
Bastion/Daichi: spaces off until they’re done and then calculates the exact amount of air needed to blow out the candles in one go
Alexis/Asuka: resists the urge to cover her ears (atticus is the one singing)
Zane/Ryo: he can’t leave, that would be rude, but he’s visibly about to bolt from the room
Atticus/Fubuki: sings along. in perfect harmony. probably has a crown on. makes sure everyone else gets cake before they do
Blair/Rei: biggest shit-eating grin ever. center of attention and she knows it.
Crowler/Cronos: literally sobbing. has never had a proper birthday celebration
Aster/Edo: basking in the attention. will sing along if prompted, but will feign modesty until told he can do otherwise
Hasselberry/Kenzan: also sobbing. big massive group hug at the end.
Adrian/Amon: not feigning modesty in the least. sitting back and taking it all in. lets other people cut the cake and serve it to him.
Axel/O’Brien: stoic the entire time. one tear rolls down his face at the end. gets tackled in hugs which he reluctantly returns
Jim: smiling with love. makes sure Shirley hears the song too
Jesse/Johan: very “aw shucks” about the situation. blows out all the candles except for one and then invites everyone else to help him blow out the last one.
Yubel: not in the room. don’t try it. do you value your intestines being inside your body?

Atticus: Lady Juliana's Blueberry Academy friends, it is thy pleasure to see you all!
Carmine: So you invited us because you and Juliana were working on a project together, right?
Atticus: That is correct, Lady Carmine.
Kieran: What kind of project?
Atticus: I promised Lady Juliana that she'd be the one to reveal it.
Juliana, jumping out wearing a Ribombee inspired outfit: And I promised to not disappoint!

Hiiiii I was thinking about some of the drabbles from before and everyone has History and Some Issues, but I’m curious so,, what would the ROs younger selves think about who they grew up to be? Or what would the ROs tell their younger self?
anon i am obsessed with this question... in terms of meeting their younger selves:
adegoke: his child self would be confused and probably a bit scared. his teenage self would be a little disappointed. there is a lot that adegoke had to work through to get to where he is now.
arthur: i keep going back and forth on what young arthur would think of his older self, because i’m not sure that he would really know what to think. i don’t think he would be pleased. i think the closest emotion would probably be disgust, because what a sad little life.
atticus: i think young atticus would be so pumped at how he turned out and i think that would make present day atticus very sad indeed.
avery: would be angry before any other emotion, i think, because she wants more for herself and she must have done something wrong somewhere along the way to fall so short of what she is capable of. i think that she and present day avery could have a very long talk about that, but she would need to make all of the same mistakes for herself anyway.
charlie: i guess just bewildered? i think that of everyone, charlie might be the most surprised by where he ended up.
ellis: before the start of the show? i think young ellis would be pleased that they had achieved so many of the things that they weren’t sure they would be capable of doing, and perhaps a little sad that they hadn’t done some of the other things that they thought would come easily. as of episode 3? crushingly, excruciatingly heartbroken.
florrie: thrilled, delighted, absolutely jazzed! after always being told that growing up would mean giving up a lot of the things she finds fun, little florrie would be so thrilled to learn that isn’t true.
griffin: i’m not sure how much thought griffin has ever really given to the future or who he will be or where he’ll end up, so i’m not sure he’d have strong feelings either way? he’d be like oh okay and then go back to playing hahaha
imogen: really proud of herself. imogen has had to do a lot of hard things to get to where she is and i think young her would be grateful to know that she does have it in herself to do them, actually.
nyra: would be encouraged by some parts and disheartened by others, but in general i think it would be extremely emotionally charged. they’d have a big hug, there would definitely be tears.
rowan: teenage rowan would probably be like omg cringe hahaha - she had a real Not Like Other Girls phase and adult rowan kind of prides herself on being like other girls actually because girls are sick!
syd: would be fuckin psyched, i think? syd more than anyone has really exceeded their childhood expectations.
vinh: would just absolutely break down in tears of relief. they made it, they're doing it, they're okay. their life isn’t perfect, but it’s theirs and they are living it on their own terms. also they get to make art all the time, and isn’t that just the dream.
#aaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAA#this is brain worm food for days thank u anon#anon did you wake up this morning and think hm i want to ruin nells day#really just destroy them emotionally#and then maybe have some cereal#is that how your morning went

Ficlet: Enid finally gets a mom that loves her.
Wednesday doesn’t give Enid the choice in coming to the Addams manor over the summer break (not that Enid resists either). After hearing multiple phone conversations with Enid's mother and seeing her roomates (secret to the grave crush) mood she calls her parent’s and informs them of their guest. Of course her parents are delighted and both welcome Enid with warm hugs that have Enid tearing up immediately.
The next morning Enid is dancing down the hallway listening to music on her headphones and in an even cheerier mood than usual. She’s not paying attention and accidentally bumps into a small table holding an antique looking vase. She tries to catch it but it smashes into pieces in the floor. Quickly she starts trying to up the pieces with her hands and mumbling “stupid stupid stupid” to herself repeatedly. Morticia appears in the hallway having heard the sound and sees Enid on her hands and knees picking up fragments and and getting cuts on her hands in the process. She quickly rushes over to stop Enid from hurting herself further but Enid looks up and see’s Morticia coming at her quickly and immediately covers her head crying “please! No! I’m so sorry I’ll clean it up and pay for it!”
Morticia is stunned at Enid’s reaction and calmly gets down on her knees taking Enid’s bloodied hands in her own and says “Enid darling, its just a vase and an ugly one at that. There is no need to fret”. Gently cupping Enid’s cheeks and wiping tears away she adds “and I nor no one in this family would ever harm you, nor will we ever let any harm befall you again” The last part said with a darker tone than Enir had ever heard from her. Picking the young girl up she led her into the bathroom to get her hands cleaned and bandaged up.
Wednesday having seen the tail end of the exchange but deducing what the cause of Enid’s fear and tears were, quietly led Enid to accompany her on a stroll through the family graveyard. Morticia smiles knowingly at their retreating forms then walks purposely to the phone in the living room and dials a number by memory.
After a few short rings the person picks up and Morticia immediately says “Fester, I need you to go to San Francisco on a matter of great importance. Someone there needs to not be among the living anymore”. After a few details are exchanged and an equally irate Fester promises it’ll be taken care of in a few days Morticia hangs up then immediately dials another number. Once the person picks up she calmly says “Uncle Atticus, I require legal paperwork to gain custody of a young woman who needs to be with us. No not adoption, because that might complicate future nuptials with her and Wednesday. She’ll be an Addams regardless in a few years time. Ok thank you I look forward to hearing from you”. Hanging up she turns to Gomez as he walks in the room and says “Dreadful news darling. We’ve just aquired a 2nd daughter”. Gomez hoops excitedly and proceeds to kiss Morticia with his usual vigor.

i need to talk about this rn i'm sorry but i've been having baby fever and been thinking so much about erwin as a dad 😞🩷 (cw pregnancy)
firstly, he suspects you're pregnancy before you do. he's so observant and knows you so well, so when you start to look tired, or have cravings/aversions to certain foods you didn't before, he takes note. what seals it for him is when he notices your pet (let's say a dog) clinging to you. of course they like you, but now it seems they don't want you out of their sight, might even growl whenever he tries to touch you in their presence. and of course, he notices if you haven't yet had your period (he doesn't even need an app he just remembers your usual time of month) but of course he is considerate that you may want to surprise him, and he is gracious enough to be surprised and over the moon with you when you tell him because of course the confirmation is better than the suspicion. he does admit to knowing already later on, but how can you be mad that he pays attention so well??
and when you get rounder, you learn quickly the baby has a preference for his voice. if the baby is hiding from you in the belly or keeps kicking when you want to rest, they only listen to his voice, he'll say something like "Be kind to your mother," and the child will literally stop and you're just like " •_•"
also he will absolutely hire someone to help with cleaning and cooking while you recover postpartum, make sure you don't have to lift a finger for anything besides the baby and your own wellness. even after the first couple weeks and the person he hired is gone, he'll still do most of the cleaning and cooking while you recover because he understands that while you focus on cariny for the baby, he has to focus on caring for you. he will also want to be involved with learning about how to best care for the baby as much as possible (he becomes a master at burping 😌)
and the first time you guys drop the child off at daycare, he's pretty straightfaced and serious to anyone looking at him, gives a quick hug and a kiss to his little one but mainly focuses on making sure everything is accounted for in their bag and lunchkit. the staff might think he's too cold and aloof to be so unemotional about his child's first day at daycare, but what they don't know is that the second he gets in the car and out of the kiddo's sight he puts his hand over his face and starts weeping softly, holding your hand so tightly with the other because his baby is getting so big so fast and he's proud but also sad after hearing them cry as soon as you both walked out.
he just becomes the most wonderful father and husband and loves his family with everything he has ☺️🩷
ik I told u like two days ago I was letting this cook and I'd answers that night but OOF i forgot. however i've enjoyed being reminded each time I went into my ask box! I read though it each time! loved it so much! anyway i'm gonna pop som thoughts below so this doesn't get too long for the poor people who don't wanna be Erwin's baby mama's lol <3
cw pregnancy for below
I very much headcanon Erwin as an observant man, so I 100% agree with the notion that he notices you're pregnant before you do. the food tastes changing, the sickness (the dog! (in my little world there's a dog! (his name is Atticus))) - the notes it all away but the little shit says nothing. he might partially be being considerate and letting you tell him, but i also think he isn't above waiting how long it take you to figure it out after he does. it's like a little bet he has with himself lol
AND THE BABY LIKING HIS VOICE ofc my child would only listen to Erwin smh. that's kinda so funny to me though, I love that idea. maybe Erwin spoke quietly for a while and the baby was real still, you kind of panicked a little, but as soon as Erwin went "oh my god, What?!" the babe went wild as if to say "oh, daddy is here! yay! he didn't leave us alone!" bc yk. the baby is a little shit too just like it's dad.
He also totally doesn't like the idea of you lifting a finger. he says your body is busy making a whole human being, don't you dare make him dinner too, making it himself is the least he can do. I also firmly believe afterwards he's a very hands on dad. yeah perhaps he'll keep some hired help around for the days where e's not there, but when he is there? you're surprised he isn't run off his feet. the man has so much energy for being so chill and stoic. he'd be out here being dad, mum, housekeeper, cook, taxi AND CEO, and still cuddle up to you at the end of the day and wanna attempt to ENTHUSIASTICALY put ANOTHER baby in you.
thEN the picture of him breaking after dropping your kid off for their first day! my heart! he is such a softie. big fucking teddy bear. full of marshmallows and clouds. he can look cold and aloof all he likes but we know the truth. we've seen him cry while watching both The Good Dinosaur and Bluey. he can't hide from us.
#cw pregnancy#thank u for giving me your baby fever. i don't need it or want it. but it's alrought when it's with erwin.#nemo answers#bnuyy <3#erwin smith x reader

Home Grown
a/n: heheheeh
summary: back home can mean one thing...
Landing at 9 in morning in Dublin gave you enough time to get through the airport with minimal fan encounters. Because you were only staying for the day you hadn’t booked a hotel, only having a carry on shared for both of you and a personal item. Atticus, who had flown in a few days earlier and was very excited to see his best friend, offered to pick you both up and take you where you needed to go. “Bestie?!” he shouted when you walked out of the airport. You ran up to him and hugged him tumbling to the ground. Niall was filming the whole thing and laughed when you both got up still hugging each other. “Are you ready?”
“Fuck no.”

naiastan SLANE!!!!!!!!
niallleerrrrrr is Niall with you???
missquinn_maia I KNEW IT
As you arrived to Slane Castle you froze. “What the fuck am I doing?” you whispered from the back seat of Atticus’ car. You let Niall sit in the front as his legs were longer. “About to perform for one of the biggest crowds in the world.” Atticus shrugged off and you hit his shoulder. “Okay lets not got hurt right now. We’re driving.” Niall grabbed your hand before you could throw another punch at Atticus, who was ducking from you while finding the closest parking spot.
You stepped out of the car for the first time since the airport (only 30 min) and groaned, stretching before you were jumping up and down and skipping all over the parking lot. “I'm home!” you sang and Niall looked at you with so much love. He was surprised he hadn’t slipped up and told you yet.
“Are you gonna tell her?” Atticus asked not taking his eyes off you who had just laid in the middle of the road. He looked at him questioningly. “Tell her you love her.” Atticus further described turning to him. Niall turned back to you only to see you with a puzzled expression looking at your phone.
“Hey what happened.” he pushed off the car atticus on his tail. “She finally twisted the story, right after my post. That-” but Niall kissed you before you could say anything you might regret. You melted into his arms as he carefully massaged your scalp through your mane of curly hair. “Post it.” he whispered and you immediately looked at him. “YOU want me to post it.” he nodded and Atticus hummed his agreement, “If you won’t I will.” you nodded at him giving the approval to do so while you got your guitar out of the car. “Don’t let it ruin your day love.” Niall whispered. You looked up at him and sighed. “I know.” he kissed you lips effectively taking the pout off them.
The band pulled up around 10 minutes later as it took them longer in the airport with their instruments. “Hey guys! You ready for this?” they all cheered as they gave you hugs. “Thank you guys so much for letting me steal you. I really appreciate it.” they all shrugged you off with different forms of ‘of course!’. You all walked the short distance to the backstage area where they were waiting.
“Look what the cat dragged in.” he smirked as you and Niall walked up to him ahead of everyone. “You know I prefer dogs H.” he laughed and you hugged him. “Hey mate.” Niall and Harry hugged and both boys hands caught you as you pretended to faint. “My 9 year old self is screaming, actually no- thats just me.” you joked making the two boys laugh. “Funny one you got there Nialler.” Harry pointed out and Nial scoffed, “so she would like to think.” you pouted and he laughed, “you know its just banter.” he kissed you, “i know, i just wanted a kiss.” you shrugged pushing past Harry to go say hi to the rest of the band like you weren’t just freaking about meeting everyone.
During soundcheck you and the band went over some of your own songs as well as some you sang on The Voice just in case you wanted to switch it up. “You guys are amazing. I love you” you cried to the band as they nailed everything. You would be the last opener and because of that Harry and the Love band were sitting around the stage watching your half-arsed performance.
“I promise I will sound a lot better later.” you joked into the mic and they all laughed. “You might put Harry out of job tonight.” Ariza joked and you laughed before running around the stage as Harry tried to chase you. “You can’t take my job.” he dropped in the middle of the stage and you laughed running back to him. “There, there, Mr. just Harry.” you patted his fluffy hair, before he was grabbing your legs making you laugh before you hopped on his back “We all know the person these people look up to is Niall.” and as if on cue his famous laughter rang through the stage. “Speak of the leprechaun and he shall appear.” Harry giggled. “I see she’s got you wrapped around her finger.” Niall joked, shaking his head at you. “I mean it Niall. If you hurt her…'' he trailed off, and that was the only time you had ever even thought of Harry looking scary. “Scouts honour.” He took a pic of you and Harry and in the time you two were goofing around the instruments had been changed and everyone was in their respective spots.
“Can I stay and watch.” They all agreed without hesitation and it was a very fun soundcheck. You switched back and forth from mimicking piano, to guitar, to the drums. You even did the cinema horns. “Do you know how to play all these?” Pauli asked from his set up and you nodded with a big smile. “Play the drums!” he asked and you looked to Sarah who nodded with a shrug. “Alright then, H can we do ‘Daylight’?” and they looked at you. “What? Is tonights song Stockholm?” you asked innocently still wondering why they were all looking at you like that.
“That song is all drums.” You heard Elin say shocked. You shrugged, “I guess?” Harry shrugged and when he gave you all a thumbs up you started playing. You played through the whole song with everyone staring at you. You sang Sarah's lines as well, and everyone was amazed, not that you knew as your eyes were closed.
“Fucking hell, Maia.” Harry cursed into the mic as gently paced Sarah’s sticks on her stool and walked off the stand. “That was fun.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You were shitting yourself as the band went on to set themselves up. “Hey, you know what your doing. You have no reason to be nervous.” Niall whispered into your ear as he hugged you. His hugs were grounding and you wished you could perform like this. “This is 80 thousand people Niall. 80!” you wanted to throw up at the thought. “You sang on my live infront of 50.” he pointed out. “No it was one, you.” You shot back and he grimaced knowing you were technically right… you had only seen him.
“It doesn't matter, just be yourself. Harry wouldn’t have put you on if he thought you weren’t ready. Everyone believes in you. Do you believe in yourself?”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You walked on stage while messing with your in ears. The band had walked on with you again and that calmed you down. “Hello Slane!” you shouted into the mic and you heard the audience cheer. “Im Maia Quinn.” again more cheers. “Okay so some of you do know me.” you chuckled nervously, “I’ve never done anything of this magnitude before, and im shitting myself because of that.” you heard the roar of laughter and we’re glad this wasn’t a complete fail. “Before I sing some songs for you guys I want to thank the ‘Lemons’ as I stole them.” They laughed at you as you blew them a kiss, “And I want to thank Harry for giving me this opportunity.” Everyone screamed as you saw Harry in his tracksuit wave at you from side stage. He was closer as he wanted to watch your performance and have enough time to get changed. “Im gonna play some of my own songs, and some you may know. So if you know the words sing ‘em with me.”
You sang two of your ballads, and when you sang your more up beat one they sang it with you and smiled as they took over the chorus
I can feel it coming miles away
Feel the rhythm and how it’s calling your name
And you know it, every note that you read
I can feel it on every inch of my skin
In my blood, running , I’d like it facing the wind
And you know it, every note that you read
“Wow i wasn’t sure you guys would know that one.” you laughed, you saw someone hold a sign up and you read it, “Hi whats your name? Ezra? Nice to meet you Ezra. You want me to sing ‘Wicked Game’?” you clarified and some people screamed in agreement. You were glad you soundcheck some songs, “Give me two seconds.” you told him and you jogged to the band and they all agreed.
You then turned to Harry and held a thumbs up. He wanted to hear this live more than anyone. You held a thumbs up and they started playing and those who knew cheered.
The audience clapped along with the music and you could only imagine what they looked like behind your closed eye
What a wicked thing to say, you never felt this way
Niall wished your eyes were open so you could see how he looked at you
What a wicked thing to do, to let me dream of you
The audience cheered as you added a bit of rasp and edge
And I don't wanna fall in love (this world is only gonna break your heart)
No, I don't wanna fall in love (this world is only gonna break your heart)
With you
No, I
As you held onto your note you used all you could to power through all 10 seconds of the song for the note that blew everyone away
Nobody
Your eyes softly as you looked at the crowd before your eyes closed again as you finished the song
loves no one
Everyone cheered and you saw Harry jumping up and down as you looked at him and he whistled before clapping again. “It's been donkey’s years since I last sang that.” you laughed and took a sip of water while walking to pick up your acoustic. “Now every single one of you should know this next song, if you don’t,” you paused, “someone will be very sad.”
It was just you and your guitar for this one. You started to finger pick the strings and they cheered as they heard the familiar tune.
Waking up to kiss you and nobody’s there
The smell of your perfume still stuck in the air
It’s hard
Yesterday I thought I saw your shadow running round
It’s funny how things never change in this old town
So far from the stars
You barely sang as the crowd of 80 thousand sounded like a speaker. “The next song I'm gonna play I've seen circulating around twitter with some videos of you guys coming up with your own verses. Its crazy how its been so many years since I released this.” Those who knew what you were on about started screaming and you laughed. “This is ‘Nonsense’.”
This song catchier than chicken pox is
As you heard them shout it to you you held the mic towards them
I bet your house is where my other sock is
Woke up this morning thought I'd write a pop hit
How quickly can you take your clothes off? Pop quiz
There's 80 thousand people at this concert
You the twist the story now I've got the last word
Please don't test me your just gonna get hurt
Thank you Slane, I hope I did you justice
One more song, then Harry’ll be out on stage I promise
You laughed as they booed. “Harry’s not gonna like that.” you looked in his direction and he shook his head with a laugh. “He said i can take over!” they all cheered and you quickly brought them back down, “no sorry, only joking.” you held your hand up apologetically.
“Alright loves, this is the last song and then you guys will see who you paid for. But if you know anything about me it’s probably my cover of this song.” they all cheered as you sat down on the stage floor, bringing the guitar mic with you so you had something to sing into. “This is Still.” you took out one of your in-ears to hear the sound of the guitar better.
My mind is complicated
Find it hard to rearrange it
But I'll have to find a way somehow
Overreacting lately
Find it hard to say I'm sorry
But I'll make it up to you somehow
I just don't know why
Stars won't shine at night
You around seeing some people with tears already falling
Tell me you want it
A thousand miles away from the day that we started
But I'm standing here with you, just trying to be honest
If honesty means telling you the truth
Well, I'm still in love with you
Did I miscalculate this?
Let's just go back to basics
Forget about what's come and gone
'Cause I hate to see us like this
Breaking up on nights just like this
We should be shooting for them stars of gold
It crazy playing this song again
So tell me you want it
A thousand miles away from the day that we started
But I'm standing here with you, just trying to be honest
If honesty means telling you the truth
Then I guess we lost our focus
And it's killing me that we could go to war like this
But I'm standing here with you, just trying to be honest
If honesty means telling you the truth
Well, I'm still in love with you
Oh, we'll be alright
Oh, it'll be alright
Oh, we'll be alright
Oh, it'll be alright
“Sing it!”
So tell me you want it
A thousand miles away from the day that we started
But I'm standing here with you, just trying to be honest
If honesty means telling you the truth
I guess we lost our focus
And it's killing me that we could go to war like this
But I'm standing here with you, just trying to be honest
If honesty means telling you the truth
Well, I'm still in love with you
They all screamed as you stood up and bowed. You moved the mic stand back to its respectful place, guitar swung around to your back as you blew kisses to them while saying thank you. You waved until you were in the dark and ran off to go find Niall.
“Ni?!” you yelled around all the trailers. When you opened the door to your trailer you saw him in the middle of the room on one knee. “Niall Horan what the fuck are you doing?” you whisper-shouted. He laughed and shook his head. “Telling you, I love you.” you dropped to the floor next to him and placed the guitar down. “Then why are you on your knees?” you questioned putting his face in your hands. “Because I do have a ring for you.” he said, pulling out two blue boxes.
“Niall Horan.” you repeated in shock again. “I liked both, and knew you would too, so I bought both.” He giggled still through tears. “This one is a knot, because im tied to you, always will be.” He said placing it on your right pointer finger, “and this one- its the Tiffany T but it looked like an H so of course I bought it.” You laughed as he placed it on your left middle finger, right next to his gold and green one. “Now I have three promises to you, to love you,” he kissed his ring, “to be yours forever,” he kissed the ‘H’ ring, “and to forever be with you, through thick and thickest.” He finished off by kissing the knot ring.
When he released your hands you ran your hands over his cheeks. “God, I love you so much. I feel like a shithole because you gave me all of this and- when even did you get these?” you laughed knowing he’d been with you all day. “In New York. when you went to take a nap I left.” he laughed as you shoved his shoulder.
“I love you so much Niall Horan.”
“I love you Maia Quinn, always.”

-*It kills Atticus inside to see Bragi just emotionally destroy himself over something that wasn't even his fault to begin with. He wishes he could just embrace him within his arms and never let go. As much as he wishes others didn't have interior motives to their actions, he knows that won't happen anytime soon. Ogma, along with Anato, Agu and Iru all knew what they were doing when they took what wasn't rightfully theirs.. they all played it off like some game.. Bragi didn't deserve to be dragged into such nefarious affairs by which they'd just cast aside their problems onto someone completely innocent like him.. but.. how would he have known this was their true intentions.. who would've told him if he didn't agree to Finn that day to travel here. Even tho it's in Bragi's best interest to decline the offer of becoming the next Supreme Kai, it was still a god sent that Atticus was able to meet him and be able to warn him of the truth.
Atticus places a hand on Bragi's knee as he still looks upon him*-

There wasn't any bone in Atticus that expressed any distaste in what Bragi was saying to him, it was all valid coming from this young Kai's perspective. still after all was said he remained to keep his sympathetic look at Bragi*-

Before Season 3 comes out...
I might as well write the predictions/theories I had back in season 1. I doubt most of them will come true, but if nothing else, this will be a good reference point to look back on; see where my headspace was at, that sort of thing
-Imelda and Atticus were working in cahoots from the beginning
-Hieronymous Loxlee was responsible for the moon explosion
-The acquisition of Midst was/is for the purpose of expanding the Trust into the fold
-There is something sinister going on with Loxlee lights. The Trust is experimenting with ways to expand their control into the fold for a purpose yet unknown. (More Tearror weaponry, like the fold grenade back in s1e17?!!)
-The Trust has access/knowledge of the prophecy abilities of the fold (Supported in s2e19; Lark's mom was/is working for the Trust, and had even stronger fortune-telling powers) and are using it for some larger plot. (Possibly connected with the death of Max Loxlee)
-Before the end of the series, Imogen Loxlee will be assassinated
-Moc Weepe is related to Kozma Laszlo
-Saskia will become the new mayor of Midst (probably won't happen, but it SHOULD)
-The conversion rates of Valor were deliberately tampered with behind the scenes to prevent Phineas from breaking even (the media was sent, meaning it was supposed to happen); all in an effort for Hieronymous to get control of Phineas.
-Phineas has been crushing on Jonas Spahr for a really long time. By the end of the series, he will confess his feelings for Jonas. (I'm willing to make a blood sacrifice if it means they have a hug by the end of the series. They need it.)

Such a Softer Sin (Part 5)
Pairing: Billy Russo x Reader
Warnings: I’m not specifically tagging this one, if you’ve seen the show, nothing will shock you. Smut will happen eventually so minors DNI, thanks.
A/N: Some bonding with Billy, anyone?
—-----------
“Are you sure you don't want to come? King William, sorry, Billy, said it was okay if you came with us,” Atticus asked with a sly smirk and you shot him a dirty look, kicking him in the leg and making him almost fall over. He caught himself on the wall just in time as he laughed.
“I’m sure. It’s good to get everything set up for Leanna before she gets here and I’ll get to check the place out a little,” you huffed, still glaring at Atticus as he and Kosmos got ready to leave.
“We won’t be too long. We’ll need to get everything packed so we might be a day or so. We’ll try to be as quick as possible,” Kosmos said softly, giving you a concerned look. You’d never been on your own before, at least for a long while. But you were a grown ass woman and you’d deal with it.
“It’s fine. Just make sure everyone’s okay with the plan, try to break the news gently,” you sighed, raising a brow a little. Kosmos tried his best but he was still rough around the edges.
“I will, don’t worry,” he smiled ruefully and you smiled back before giving him a hug. Atticus stepped over then, opening his arms with a sheepish smile. You huffed but a grin tugged your lips and you wrapped your arms around him too.
“Behave yourself,” you muttered as you squeezed him before letting him go.
“I always behave,” he smirked and you snorted, shaking your head.
“I’ll believe that when pigs can fly,” you replied amused.
“Mhm, well you try not to break anything when we’re gone. There’s only so many of the King’s things you can break before they start to think you’re doing it on purpose,” Atticus grinned and you rolled your eyes.
“I’m starting to think Kos should just leave you behind when everyone else comes here,” you glowered playfully and he gasped, holding a hand over his heart.
“You’re ruthless, Y/N. You’d leave me defenseless like that? Who would keep me safe if I’m not with you?” he asked dramatically and Kosmos just shook his head as he made his way over to the door.
“As fun as whatever this is, we need to get going,” he said as he gave Atticus a look. Atticus threw you a cheeky smile before he waltzed over to the door.
“We’ll miss you,” he murmured, all traces of humor gone now as he looked over at you. You felt a pang in your chest and you swallowed thickly.
“I’ll miss you too, now go. You’ve got important business to take care of,” you said firmly, not wanting this to be a bigger deal than it was. He nodded before he opened the door and walked out, Kosmos lingering in the doorway.
“Try and not get into any trouble,” he warned with a teasing smirk and you scoffed.
“Who do you think I am? Atti?” you asked offended and he raised an amused brow that made you gape at him. With that, he was out the door and you were left alone.
You weren’t really sure what to do with yourself now. You knew Karen wanted to show you around the medical facilities and the place you’d all be staying but you had no idea where to find her. You didn’t really feel like looking for her either. The last time you went wandering, you ended up breaking the King’s vase and you didn’t want a repeat performance. Atticus was right, there were only so many times you could break his stuff. He’d been kind enough last time but at some point, he wouldn’t be so understanding. You flopped on the bed as you wondered what to do, your thoughts carrying away from you. Luckily you weren’t hungry. Azalea had stopped by earlier with a basket full of fruit and baked good for breakfast and you’d enjoyed it. You knew the full moon would be soon and you found excitement swelling inside of you. You loved letting your wolf free, loved the freedom you felt as you ran around outside. As a wolf, you could only transform under the full moon. You could force a shift in dire circumstances, if the wolf thought you were in danger and came out to protect you. It was dangerous though, there had been some cases where people had been stuck in their wolf form from forcing a shift. Lycans though, like the King, could shift at will. Their wolf was stronger, faster, bigger than all the others. More powerful. You wondered what he looked like. You’d seen from the glass window that he was a black wolf with glowing silver eyes but you wondered what it would be like in person, wondered how big he truly was. The rumor was that he didn’t shift anymore, not after last time. You’d heard the tales of when he shifted after the last war, when his Beta’s family got killed. He’d gone on a rampage and almost killed innocents. Your mind drifted to the dinner the night before, you’d kept feeling his eyes on you and it was slightly unsettling. You weren't sure if he didn’t trust you or something but he’d been nothing but nice to you. You'd even been shocked when he agreed with you over the Council and you’d admit to feeling smug at how uncomfortable they were to the point they left. Your thoughts were interrupted by a soft knock at your door and you sat up, looking at it warily. Heaving a sigh, you stood up and opened the door, revealing Karen who was smiling brightly at you.
“Good morning. I thought we could take that tour,” she grinned.
“Sounds good to me,” you replied, trying to muster up a smile for her. You felt incredibly awkward and out of place here and she seemed to be a ray of sunshine. It was a lot to deal with.
You followed her down the hall and then down the steps to outside in silence and it was making your skin crawl.
“So, you’re a witch,” you blurted, unable to help it. It was something you picked up at dinner the night before but you hadn’t dared to say anything, especially in front of the King. You hadn't even meant to bring it up now but your mouth had decided to go off without warning. Karen’s head whipped to you as an amused laugh slipped past her lips and you closed your eyes with a groan.
“I’m sorry, that came out wrong. I just meant that… King William’s Beta, Frank… he said you’re his mate. A wolf and witch pairing is a little…” you trailed off, not really knowing how to word it but she did it for you.
“Impossible? I know, but somehow it happened. I’m glad it did though, I can’t imagine my life without him,” she said with a wistful smile and you found your own lips tugging up a little as the pair of you walked past some buildings to the left of the castle.
“What about you? Do you have a mate?” she asked as she gave you a curious glance. You chuckled and shook your head.
“No… I don’t even know if I have one anymore. Chances are he was part of my old pack. And now they’re all…” you frowned as flashes burst through your mind in quick succession. Blood, screaming, you covered in mud hiding in the bushes as Atticus covered your mouth to stifle your sobs. Suddenly, you felt a calming sensation wash over you, almost like someone wrapped a soothing warm blanket around you. The haze over your eyes cleared and you blinked rapidly, eyes darting to your wrist where you saw Karen’s hand. When you looked at her startled, she took her hand back quickly, an apologetic look on her face.
“Sorry… It was just a simple calming spell, nothing more I promise. You looked a little… lost,” she said carefully, her eyes shining with concern. You looked away quickly as you cleared your throat, embarrassment burning inside of you. You didn’t like looking so vulnerable, especially in front of people you didn’t know.
“It’s fine. It’s a pretty cool trick honestly, I bet King William gets you to use it on him all the time. It must be stressful being King,” you mused softly, a wry smile on your face as you tried to deflect from your embarrassing behavior. Karen snorted, rolling her eyes playfully.
“Like he’d ever let me use magic on him,” she grinned fondly and you could tell by her tone she must be close to him. You’d gone past most of the buildings now, only one left to go and it looked pretty big.
“So, how are you finding it here?” she asked softly after a small moment of silence.
“It’s… nice,” you answered uncertainly and she smiled to herself.
“You don’t like it, do you?” she asked with a knowing smirk and you snorted, shrugging a little.
“I do, it’s just… a lot. It’s bigger than I’m used to and a lot more people than I’m used to,” you said honestly. You hadn't been here long enough to see if those feelings of uncomfortableness would ease up, to see if you settled in here.
“That’s understandable. I’m sure some time will help you,” she mused as you both came to a stop outside of a building.
“What do you think of the King?” she asked. Your eyes narrowed a little, a rueful smirk tugging at your lips as you tried to suss her out.
“I feel like that's a trick question. You're clearly friends with him and you're his Beta’s mate,” you murmured amused and she chuckled, tucking some of her hair behind her ear.
“I just mean, is he what you thought he’d be? I know you’ve had a little time with him on your own and most people are always surprised by how normal he is,” she shrugged. You nibbled your lower lip a little as you nodded. It seemed valid enough.
“He wasn’t what I thought, but I know more than most that there’s more to people than the stories people tell about them,” you said simply. It had been hard to wrap your head around, still was if you were honest, as he really hadn’t been what you thought he’d be. But you knew the same could be said about you so you tried not to really dwell on it. It was a pleasant surprise to find out he wasn't a stuffed up old guy who loved ordering people around. Karen nodded, looking pleased with your answer before she led you inside of the building.
You were shocked by how large it was. It was the size of a full blown human hospital and inside was clean and smelled of bleach. There were numerous doctors and nurses around as Karen led you through some corridors and up some stairs. Before long, you’d been taken to the maternity wing. She’d told you all of the sections of the facility as you passed them, how the doctors here knew what they were doing. For the most part, while they had a large amount of staff here, they mostly treated minor injuries from training or from whatever special jobs the Elite Warriors would go on. Of course, there would be an emergency or two here and there but it didn't happen too often. She led you through the birthing suites, all different kinds as she listed off things your brain didn't quite understand because you knew nothing about babies. But then just through the maternity ward, she led you to the NICU and she stopped outside of a large window. When you peeped inside, there was a small baby inside an incubator.
“He’s so tiny,” you murmured softly, blinking at the fragile little wolf.
“I know. He’s called Jason, his parents are warriors here. We don't get an abundance of babies here but with all the staff and warriors, a lot of them mates… it happens. He was born a little early but he’s a fighter. He’s doing really well,” she hummed, eyes glued to the baby. You nodded, hope filling your chest as you knew what this meant for you and your pack.
“Leanna will be in good hands here, Y/N. You don’t need to worry,” Karen said firmly and you looked at her. You were taken off guard that she’d remembered her name but it made you respect her a little more. She clearly cared and that meant a lot to you.
“Thank you,” you murmured with a nod and she smiled brightly at you.
“Okay then, I’ll take you to your new pack house,” she grinned before she turned around and you followed her back out of the building.
“All the housing is on the other side of the grounds,” she explained as you both started off. As you crossed over to the other side, you turned over to near the fences at the noise and saw the Warriors training. The training area was large and full of short grass instead of the dirt floor that covered most of the inside of the castle grounds. There were a bunch of tiered benches, some Warriors and some seemingly other wolves. You weren't sure who they were, you still had no idea how the uniform system worked. You’d gathered that the Warriors wore black and red. You noticed the King then too. He was wearing almost the same outfit as you saw last time, only this time his pants were black and he wasn’t wearing his jacket. You didn't even realize you’d stopped walking as you watched him weidling a large sword, sparring with one of his Warriors. You couldn't help but watch, mesmerized by how fast and graceful he was as he dodged and striked out with his sword. You knew he wasn't using his full speed or strength though, you knew he was capable of far more than this, but then the poor Warrior wouldn’t stand a chance against him. The Warrior was putting up a good fight but in the end, King William knocked the sword right out of his grasp and held the tip of his sword to his throat. There was a tense moment between them as they watched each other and you looked on with rapt interest. The Warrior held his hands up in surrender before he smiled and then the King smiled too. It was almost blinding with how radiant it was and you couldn't tear your eyes away. He lowered his sword, still smiling as he slapped the Warrior on the back and said something. You couldn't hear what but you presumed it was something akin to ‘good job’. It was still strange to see him like this, he looked so carefree and clearly, he’d enjoyed the fight. He didn't even look like a King right then, he just looked like a wolf who had enjoyed the thrill of the fight and was riding the high. As if sensing your eyes on him, he turned your way and his eyes locked with yours, making your breathing hitch as his smile slipped and he just looked at you. You knew you should look away, avert your eyes. He was the King, the Alpha of Alpha’s, you shouldn't just be staring right at him like this, yet you couldn't move your eyes from him. He didn’t seem annoyed though as his lips curled up again in a lopsided smile as he raised a hand and waved. You blinked dumbly before turning to Karen who was standing next to you looking thoroughly amused.
“He’s not waving at me,” she shrugged when you just looked at her quizzically.
“Oh…” you murmured, looking back over at him. He was still smiling at you and you lifted your hand, waving lamely and internally groaning at what an idiot you were making of yourself. You heard Karen snort from beside you and you felt heat sweep up your entire being. You watched as he looked at you for a moment longer before turning around and walking back over to his men. You felt puzzled by the interaction and were glad when Karen started walking again and you followed her.
“Is he like this with everyone?” you asked curiously. You were just confused by his behavior, he almost acted like you were already friends.
“Not really,” Karen muttered wryly and you looked at her, eyes narrowed a little. It made you think of Atticus’ words and you frowned to yourself, hoping he was wrong. You didn’t want the King getting the wrong impression, thinking you were about to hop into bed with him. Seeing you lost in your own thoughts, Karen spoke again.
“He likes you… your pack, I mean. He respects what you guys have done, building a pack from nothing after all you’ve been through. And he has a lot of respect for you specifically. He admires your fighting skills, or at least what he’s heard about them. You guys are different to the normal packs we get here,” she explained and you nodded to yourself. It made sense and it was similar to your own defense that you’d given to Atticus. It was a nice thought, to have the respect of the King himself. You both stopped in front of a large house that was bigger than your pack house back home. It also wasn't made out of wood or a little bit wonky like yours either. It was built out of bricks and looked well made, it even had a little wooden porch on the front. She led you up the few steps of the porch before inside and your eyes darted around as you took it all in. The lower floor looked like a giant living area. There was no kitchen in sight and you wondered if they had some kind of dining hall somewhere in the castle grounds. It was cozy with plush sofas and a large fur rug beside the fireplace. It even had working electricity, it blew your mind. You’d seen the electrics in the castle, seen them in the hospital, but you’d hardly expected to find it in the houses too. It was such a foreign concept to you. A lot of wolves opted for more primal living lifestyles and others, like your pack, couldn't afford something like that. Karen showed you around, showing you the closets and where to find everything before she led you up the stairs. There were two additional floors to the large house and more than enough rooms for everyone. In fact, you were pretty sure there might be some spare rooms. It made you smile though. Your current pack house had multiple people crammed into rooms with you, Kos and Atti taking up the smallest with your measly pile of blankets. This way, people didn’t need to share if they didn't want to, although you knew you three still would. You couldn't imagine getting used to sleeping alone and you were already dreading tonight. You were also happy to find out there were three separate bathrooms, all with a bath and a shower that worked on heated water and not rain water.
“This is the Alpha’s room but I presume you and Atticus will be staying here too,” she smiled as she opened the last door on the top floor. There was no judgment in her tone which you were thankful for and you glanced around with raised brows. The room was as nice as the one you’d been staying in at the castle with a large bed in the middle. You walked over, sitting on it and grinning as it bounced lightly.
“I can’t believe we get a real bed,” you mused softly, running your hand over the soft furs over the end of the bed.
“You don’t have beds back at home?” Karen asked, looking mildly shocked and you shook your head.
“The pack members do but we don’t. We didn’t have enough and our room is so small I don’t even know if a bed would fit,” you snorted ruefully and she nodded.
“The large building just to the right near the castle is the mess hall. That's where we all gather for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The King and his men usually eat there too, King William doesn’t like eating in his own dining chambers much unless there's a reason for it. Breakfast is at 8AM, lunch is at noon and dinner is at 6PM,” she said with a smile and a nod, like she was ticking off a mental checklist.
“I’m trying to think if I’ve missed anything…” she murmured with a thoughtful look.
“Oh, you don’t have to move in here tonight. I know being alone in a big house like this might be a little…. disconcerting. You’re welcome to stay in your room in the castle until everyone comes back,” she smiled and you relaxed a little. The idea of sleeping alone was already something you weren’t looking forward to, you weren't sure how you’d cope in the whole house alone. At least at the castle there was a general hustle and bustle of all the people and staff there.
“I appreciate that, thanks,” you nodded and her smile widened.
“Okay, I think that’s everything. Oh, one more thing! King William is in the process of having uniforms made for your pack. Obviously, you’ll still be your pack, even if you’re here working for the King. so you’ll have uniforms different to everyone else. They should be ready in a day or two,” she explained.
“No dress for me please,” you snorted and she smiled to herself.
“Don’t worry, King William already learned his lessons with that one,” she grinned and you felt a little embarrassed it had been so obvious how much you’d hated the dress but at least you didn’t have to worry.
“Alright, I think that's it. I’ll leave you to it. Feel free to explore the grounds and get a feel for the place. Obviously don’t go into other people’s houses and you can explore the castle, but I’d avoid going into random rooms as some of them are off limits. If you get hungry, feel free to come to the mess hall when it's time,” she smiled.
“Thank you,” you smiled back and she nodded.
“No problems. If you need anything, you can just ask a staff member for help or they can mindlink me or one of the others if you need them. I’ll see you later.” With that, she was off and you were alone in the house. It was eerily quiet and you didn’t like it. You couldn't wait for everyone to get here, you missed them all.
You wound up missing lunch, feeling a little uncomfortable and not too hungry. Instead, you explored every inch of your new house, wanting to get to know it better. You’d even laid on the soft bed for a while enjoying it. Maybe it was also a little petty on your part because you wanted to get your scent all over it first just to annoy Atticus when he got here. When dinner time rolled around, you were bored, lonely and incredibly hungry. You considered going back to the room in the castle to get your furs but it meant going all the way up there just to come back out. You didn’t think you’d need them anyway, you’d probably head back to the room after dinner and try to go to sleep early so you didn’t dwell on being on your own. You set off out, seeing some of the wolves here heading into the large mess hall building and you made your way over too. When you walked inside, it felt like the place was even bigger. It was filled with chatter as people sat at the tables together as they ate and seemed to have a good time. You lingered just inside the doorway off to the side a little as you looked around. You felt quite out of place and had no idea where to sit. Every table had people on them and you didn’t much feel like going and introducing yourself. You never normally had to be so social with people you didn't know and you didn't like it.
“Hey, Y/N,” you whipped around at your name to see Frank there giving you a smile.
“Hey, Frank,” you smiled back, unsure how to really talk to the man. Not only did you not know him but you weren’t sure what the etiquette was. He was a Beta, same rank as you. Normally there wasn’t any hierarchy between you and other Betas, but this was the King’s Beta.
“You look a little overwhelmed,” he murmured wryly and your lips tugged up, heat tinging your cheeks at being so obvious.
“Just a bit. It’s a lot of people,” you replied quietly, eyes sweeping the place.
“Come on,” he grinned, leading the way. You followed behind him, noticing how as he passed, wolves were bowing their heads in respect to him. It wasn’t just him though, they were doing it to you too and you weren't sure you’d get used to it. Respect from your own pack, sure. From others, not so much. He led you to the sprawling counter that had trays and trays of food to pick from. You grabbed a plate before grabbing some potatoes, chicken and some vegetables as Frank lingered around you. Once your plate was full, you grabbed a glass that you filled with water from a jug before you followed him to wherever he was taking you. It didn’t take long to see he was taking you to his table, one that was mostly full and it seemed like he'd stopped eating to help you as his half eaten plate was still on the table next to Karen. Karen's face lit up when she saw you and Curtis gave you a smile and a nod. Your eyes drifted to the King then. Karen had already mentioned he preferred eating in here but it was still strange to you to see a King eat with his men like this. Even with his jacket on he looked casual yet put together. He looked up at you as you approached and a wide smile stretched across his face that made you feel lightheaded. Frank went over to his seat and you hovered uncertainly near the only other empty one next to the King.
“You gonna sit down?” he asked, sounding amused and you bit your lower lip as you nodded, moving to sit down with your food.
“You settlin’ in well?” he asked softly, dark eyes boring into you as you toyed with your fork.
“I’m trying…. Adjusting…” you murmured with a shrug and a snort and he nodded with a smile.
“I get that. I know its a lot but… I hope with time that you’ll be happy here,” he said it so sincerely, like he actually gave a crap if you settled in.
“Thank you, Your Majesty,” you smiled somewhat shyly.
“Billy,” he corrected instantly and your eyes widened a little, darting to the others at the table who were talking among themselves yet seemed to keep an eye on you too.
“But… we’re not alone,” you pointed out ruefully, raising a brow.
“What? These assholes? They don’t count,” he snorted and an incredulous laugh left your lips at the same time Frank smacked him across the back of the head.
“Oh, we don’t count, huh? Asshole,” Frank huffed playfully and your eyes went back and forth between them. It reminded you of you and Atti and it was so strange to think the King himself was capable of being playful that you felt a little speechless.
“Don’t mind these two, you’ll get used to it,” Curtis grinned at you and you smiled with a nod. You started eating as they all chatted casually. You couldn't work out if they were carefully picking more mundane things to talk about because you were in their presence or if this was how their dinners usually went, more relaxed and chilled out. You couldn't really suss the whole thing out, you really hadn’t even expected to be eating with them. You’d thought you and your pack would eat with the ‘commoner’ wolves or something but now you were here, you realized it wasn't like that here. While there was an obvious hierarchy, the King didn’t mind mingling with his people, didn’t seem to see them as less than him at all and it was a pleasant surprise. You’d really had him all wrong but it wasn’t like you’d ever even met him before.
“How’s the house? Do you like it?” The King asked after you finished your food and you glanced at him.
“It’s amazing. It's way more than what we have now, I think everyone’s going to be happy with it,” you smiled genuinely. You couldn't wait for your pack to see it, electricity and decent water and all. It was more than what you’d been able to give them, even if they still cherished what they had now. He smiled at your words, looking pleased by them and you were once again struck by how much he seemed to care. You were really gaining a lot of respect for him as King that he valued his people so much.
“Good. And if you ever need anything, don’t be afraid to ask me. Don’t matter what it is,” he said firmly and you smiled again.
“Thank you, Your- … Billy,” you snorted, rolling your eyes at yourself as he shot you a toothy grin.
“Have you explored the castle grounds yet?” he asked curiously and you shook your head.
“Just what Karen showed me on the tour,” you admitted. You wanted to at some point but it had been a lot to take in so soon and all on your own, it was a little depressing.
“Did you see the Royal Gardens?” he asked and your interest perked up as you shook your head again. You didn’t even realize there were Royal Gardens here.
“If you want, I could show you. I planted everythin’ myself, it’s a pretty peaceful place. I like it there,” he murmured. You blinked at him for a moment before nodding with a smile. You really hadn’t expected an escort from the King himself but you didn't want to offend him by saying you could go by yourself. Besides, he seemed like a nice guy and it was good getting to know him like this. Karen had told you he respected you so you wondered if he was trying to forge a friendship of some kind or just spend time with the newbie in the group. Maybe he felt sorry for you knowing you were all alone and maybe it was obvious how much it was bothering you.
“I’d like that,” you said and the smile he gave you was blinding. You wondered if being so ridiculously handsome was part of the Demigod package.
“We can go now if you’re done,” he suggested as he quirked a brow and you nodded, watching as he stood and the others gave him a look you weren’t quite sure of.
“I’ll see you guys later,” he smiled at them and you stood too, following him out of the building.
When you got outside, the chill bit at you. It was dark now and you cursed yourself for not bringing your furs. You tried to ignore it though as you both silently made your way around the back of the castle. The first thing you noticed was the large archway carved out of a bush. It turned into carved walls that seemed to line what you presumed to be the gardens inside. They were covered with red flowers that you had no idea the name of but you looked around, finding something soothing by how pretty it was.
“Come on,” he grinned, leading you through the archway. Your breathing hitched as you looked around in wonder, eyes taking in the large space. There was a huge water fountain in the middle carved out of what you could only presume was marble. There was the moon in a crown, balancing on four wolves heads, each wolf facing North, East, South and West. The water was coming out of their muzzles and into the fountain that had a gentle sound to it. There were four big wooden benches, each aligning with the wolves around the fountain and around the benches were tons of flowers and bushes and shrubs that went on for what felt like forever. It was so colorful, even under the blanket of the night sky and the stars above you only seemed to make it more so.
“Oh my Gods,” you murmured in awe, your eyes not being able to decide what to look at first.
“It’s beautiful, right?” he asked and you turned your eyes to him then.
“It’s… I don’t even have words. It’s the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen,” you replied in a whisper and he stood up taller, a proud smile on his face that you didn't blame him for.
“You really planted all this by yourself?” you asked incredulously.
“I had a lot of time on my hands,” he shrugged impishly and you smiled with a nod. You moved over to a shrub next to you that had deep purple flowers on them, reaching out to gently touch the flower. As you did, a shiver ripped through you and you quickly wrapped your arms around yourself to stave off the cold. You heard rustling next to you and when you looked over, the King was shrugging off his jacket before he gently placed it around your shoulders. The warmth hit you instantly, as did his scent that you found pleasing. You hadn’t paid much mind to it before, but now it was wrapped around you, you found the scent of bergamot and orange blossom calming.
“You don’t have to give me your jacket, Your Majesty” you frowned softly with a shake of your head.
“Billy,” he corrected with a smirk and you gave him a look.
“Billy… You don’t need to-” you started and he cut you off.
“You really think I’m gonna stand here and let a beautiful woman freeze to death? What kinda gentleman do you think I am?” he snorted. You felt your cheeks heat up at his complement, the very idea of someone like the King finding you attractive being alien to you, but then Atticus’ words flew through your brain rapidly and you frowned. His smirk melted off his face at seeing your frown and then he was mirroring you. You opened your mouth before closing it again, trying to choose your words carefully as you reminded yourself this was the King you were talking to.
“I hope this doesn’t come across as rude or out of turn, but… I’m not going to sleep with you,” you muttered warily, looking at him carefully as you felt nerves bloom in your belly. King or no King, you wanted it to be perfectly clear. His brows rose a little before his eyes narrowed.
“What?” he asked slowly. You shifted on your feet, feeling more than uncomfortable at the situation you found yourself in.
“I don’t know if I’m just reading it all wrong but… I’m flattered if you find me attractive but I won’t be another notch on your bed,” you clarified. You tried to be firm and held eye contact, even knowing it could get you into even more trouble. But from what you’d seen of him so far, he didn't seem one for rules so much. A look crossed his face you couldn't read and it made you nervous, but then he rolled his shoulder, a mirthless chuckle leaving his lips.
“You heard about that then?” he asked tensely.
“I mean… I’m not one for gossip, but I’ve heard some things,” you confessed. You didn’t want to say you’d only heard them from Atticus because he didn’t seem pleased about the whole thing and you didn’t want to get him into trouble. His dark eyes came back to you then and they seemed to burn with something that made your heart beat faster.
“They meant nothin’ to me,” he insisted and you blinked at him.
“Is that supposed to make me feel better?” you asked derisively. If he was planning on adding you to that list, he was doing a poor job of convincing you.
“No, I didn’t mean…” he growled, running a hand through his perfect hair and making it a little messy and you watch on warily as a myriad of emotions seemed to pass his face at the speed of light.
“Will you… will you sit down?” he asked, giving you an imploring look. You weren’t sure why but he looked sad and you were confused. You nodded, moving over to a bench mostly because he was the King and you’d already managed to upset him. He moved to sit next to you but it didn’t escape you that he left space between you both and you were relieved.
“You got this all wrong. I don’t want you to be a notch in my bed, it ain’t like that,” he sighed as he stared off at the fountain. You found yourself playing with the golden hem of his jacket that still hung around you as your eyes darted from him to the fountain.
“Then what is it like?” you asked softly, being careful to not sound like you had an attitude. You were just confused and curious. You’d gladly accept you had it wrong if he could try and tell you what he meant because if you were honest, it made no sense to you that the Demigod Lycan King would find you remotely attractive enough to take you to bed, not when you knew what kind of women he probably surrounded himself with. His eyes left the fountain and then pinned you in place with such intensity that you found yourself averting your eyes, unable to help it as you submitted to his Alpha.
“You don’t gotta look away from me like that,” he insisted harshly and your eyes snapped back to him then. You felt so unsure of yourself right now and you didn't like it.
“I think you’re one hell of a woman. Yeah, you’re attractive, but that ain’t… You’re intelligent, cunning, an amazin’ fighter. I heard all the stories about you and maybe some of ‘em are embellished, but I know what you’re capable of. I respect you for that, I respect you and your Alpha and your Gamma for everythin’ you’ve done, not just for the Kingdom but for your own pack. I respect the fact you came from nothin’ and built it all from the ground up, that you gave a home to those that needed one. I’m not here lookin’ to get you into bed, I just want… I wanna be friends. I wanna get to know you ‘cause you’re here and you're a part of this now, you’re part of a bigger group, my pack. You’re family now,” he said vehemently, his obsidian gaze burning into you. You swallowed thickly, fighting the urge to look away as it hit you again. You felt stupid now. You’d assumed something you knew wouldn't be possible because you’d allowed Atti to get in your head and now you’d made a fool of yourself in front of the King when all he’d wanted to do was befriend you.
“I’m sorry,” you murmured with a frown.
“Don’t be. I didn’t meanta come across that way, it’s my fault. I just wanna get to know you better,” he explained. An uncomfortable silence fell over you then and you didn't know quite what to say after you’d ruined something so innocent. A chilly wind swept through the gardens and you pulled the jacket tighter around yourself as your eyes moved to look at some flowers. You were just about to try and politely excuse yourself to save you from the embarrassment you were feeling when he spoke up again.
“I know you heard the rumors about the other women, but I dunno if you know why,” he started, leaning his forearms on his legs as he leaned forward. He wasn’t looking at you, once again staring broodingly at the fountain.
“You don’t have to explain yourself to me,” you frowned and he scoffed, shaking his head a little.
“I want to. I just… I’ve been around a long damn time and the whole time, all I ever wanted was my mate. I went so long without her and each day was like hell to me,” he muttered. Your frown deepened a little at the pain you heard in his voice and you felt a pang of guilt for him.
“I get urges just like anyone else and I tried for so long to ignore it, but after a while, I caved ‘cause I’m weak. My wolf… He gets restless and it makes me nervous. I can’t shift, not after what happened last time, not after-” he cut himself off, mouth clamping shut as a haunted look passed his face and he sat up straighter. Your mind drifted to the stories you knew of what happened the last time he shifted and you felt bad for him again.
“So I get my urges out before somethin’ bad happens. And after I just feel… I’m disgusted with myself. I feel so much shame and grief and guilt that it buries me alive and I fuckin’ hate myself,” he seethed. You blinked warily at him, the urge to reach out and try to comfort him gnawing at you but you knew it wasn’t appropriate so you clapped your hands in your lap.
“I hate myself ‘cause my mate’s out there and I don't wanna hurt her, I don't want her to be disgusted with me that I didn’t save myself for her, don’t want her to feel like I don’t want her or love her, ‘cause I do,” he ranted insistently.
“I’m sure she’ll understand,” you murmured, making his eyes snap to you. You were surprised to see how glassy they were and you felt an ache in your chest at how vulnerable he looked.
“Like you said, you’ve been around a long time. It’s a long time to wait, it's not like everyone else. I mean, I know how lonely I get, I can’t even imagine what it’s like for you,” you added softly. You meant it too. Some wolves didn’t even save themselves for their mate even though they didn't have to wait for as long as he had. Things were different for him, you couldn't blame him for that.
“You really mean that?” he whispered hoarsely, eyes boring into you like you held all the answers. You weren't quite sure why he was speaking to you about this, why he was letting this out to a stranger. Why he was letting you see him so vulnerable and stripped down. But you could see clearly that this was something that weighed heavily on him and you could only presume he spoke to Frank or the others about this. That maybe it was different for him to talk to someone not in his inner circle.
“I do. The fact you feel guilty about it shows you love her already and with the added stress of having to keep you wolf calm because you can’t shift… It’s understandable,” you shrugged, giving him a small smile. He blinked at you slowly for a long moment before his shoulder relaxed and he nodded.
“Thank you,” he breathed sincerely, eyes darting around your face.
“You don’t need to thank me, I’m just being honest. She’s your mate, so I’m sure she’ll understand,” you murmured. Another strange silence settled over you both and your eyes drifted to the moon in the sky.
“Do you think of your mother when you look at the moon?” you asked curiously, wanting to change the subject as you felt way out of depth with it. He chuckled and you looked away from the moon to him and he was grinning wistfully at you. You were glad you made him smile, it was better than him beating himself up.
“Yeah… Yeah, I do,” he smiled, his own eyes drifting up to the moon with a fond look.
“Are you excited for the full moon?” he asked knowingly as he looked back to you and you smiled. Even though he could shift at will, he was the only one and he was surrounded by other wolves just like you. You knew how they got when the full moon was coming.
“I’m always excited. It's the only time I can feel it,” you murmured softly, a sad smile on your face.
“What d’you mean?” he asked. You glanced at him and he was staring intently at you.
“I don’t… I can’t feel my wolf. It happened after… “ you trailed off as your chest burned and you blinked rapidly at the fountain. It felt like your heart was tying itself in a knot and you took a shaky breath. Suddenly, the feeling eased, the knot untying itself as the burning soothed. It was similar to the feeling of Karen's spell yet different and you frowned in confusion, your hand absentmindedly coming to your chest as you rubbed it. You cleared your throat and looked back to the King who was looking at you patiently, a sad look on his face and you felt your cheeks burn.
“After what happened to my pack, I just couldn't feel my wolf like normal. Couldn't hear it, couldn't feel it… just nothing. The full moon when I shift is the only time we seem to be connected. I just miss it,” you explained quickly, not wanting to talk about it any more. He frowned but nodded, looking away as he licked his lower lip before his eyes darted back to you.
“I’m sorry you went through that. Maybe… maybe one day you’ll get to be connected again,” he murmured. You nodded with a smile that wasn’t quite genuine on your face.
“Yeah… maybe,” you mused, not really believing it. You’d thought that once, thought that one day the wolf would come back to you properly, but it had been a long time now and nothing had changed so you were starting to think you were stuck like this. You felt broken.
“Did you see the lake when you came to the castle?” he asked and you were glad for the change of subject.
“No,” you shook your head, looking at him curiously.
“I’ll take you sometime. It’s a nice place to just sit and be with nature, I think you’d really like it,” he smiled softly and it made you smile too.
“I’d really like that,” you nodded and he grinned with a nod, looking pleased with himself.
“I should probably go to bed. It’s late and hopefully, everyone will be here tomorrow,” you sighed. You found yourself not really wanting to leave. You enjoyed his company even with the heavy topics you’d discussed. Other than your pack members, you’d never told anyone you couldn't feel your wolf and you were unsure why you’d confessed it to the King. But he’d also been raw and honest with you and you felt like you’d gotten to know him better. That had been what he wanted, after all.
“I’ll walk you back,” he replied as he stood. You stood too, taking one last look at the beautiful gardens before he led you out of the archway.
“Am I okay to come here? It’s beautiful here,” you asked softly, looking up at him as you walked. His lips tugged up as he nodded.
“You can go anytime you like, you don’t need permission. And if you ever need company, don’t be afraid to ask,” he grinned and you smiled to yourself.
The silence between you wasn’t uncomfortable this time as you walked into the castle and up the stairs. He walked you right to your room and you lingered outside for a moment. It had been a long time since you made a new friend and never one that wasn’t in your pack.
“Thank you for taking me… and for this,” you smiled as you took off his jacket and handed it to him. He clutched it as he smiled, licking his lower lip as he tilted his head at you.
“It was my pleasure. Have a good night, My Lady,” he smirked, bowing to you and you snorted.
“My Lord,” you gave him a fake curtsy, and his smirk turned into a lopsided grin. You looked at him for a second longer before you opened the door. Part of you wanted him to stick around, the impending loneliness waiting for you in the room making dread settle in your stomach. But he was King, he had better things to do than keep you company. You’d already taken up his time. You closed the door before leaning against it, glaring at the empty room in front of you. It was so quiet and you hated it. You blew out a sigh before getting undressed and into your sleep clothes. You didn't like long nightgowns and instead opted for a long sleep tunic that the men usually wore. Once ready for bed, you climbed into it. It felt like it swallowed you whole with how big it was with no one with you. You felt an ache settle in your chest and you chided yourself for being so weak. You were a grown up, you could sleep by yourself without it being the end of the world. Then why did you feel like this? You sighed, rolling over to your side as you took a deep inhale. You could still smell Kosmos and Atticus and you tried to let it soothe you. You could still smell the King too on your skin from his jacket and you found yourself relaxing a little, letting the mix of scents calm you down. After a while of some deep inhales, you found yourself drifting off to sleep.

open to anyone at the party
setting dionysus cabin
event 80s party
this time around, atticus was in a much better mood to party. he wasn't stabbed this past week by some vengeful vampires nor was he forced to pay the crimes for something his mother did over a millennia ago. it gave him an excuse to play around with his sewing skills, atticus made a few items before he decided what it was that he wanted. in the end, atticus ended up with a bright red short sleeve shirt that had a vibrant pattern that was tucked into a pair of high waist jeans, inspired by tom selleck of course.
going in, atticus knew the wine would be strong and he needed to pace himself but once he started to get a little tipsy it was almost too easy for him to take another glass. soon enough, those inhibitions seemed to melt away and the fun atticus was out on the dance floor with some of the other demigods dancing away to whatever song was playing. it was nice to unwind during every once and awhile, atticus was constantly stressing about the potential threats like the norse who wanted to kill them every single day and that was the last thing he was going to think about in the moment.
just as the song was over, atticus looked around to see the other demigods walking away from the dance floor. "boo," he scanned the room to look for someone to occupy his attention. bingo. "hey!" he rushed over, excited to see them. "i'm so glad you showed up." atticus leaned in for a hug, that stupid smile on his face.

hey, isn’t that ATTICUS COHEN-LEVY, who looks a little like DEAKEN BLUMAN? i hear HE is a 27 year old CIS MALE who works as a LIBRARIAN @ TURNING LEAVES who has been in town for HIS ENTIRE LIFE. they ARE a member of one of aspen creek’s founding families. you can usually find them at SUNNYVALE COMMONS or SUZIE’S ANTIQUE. if you ask me, they remind me a lot of THE SMELL OF OLD LEATHER BOOKS, A WARM CUP OF COFFEE LATE AT NIGHT, MELANCHOLY THAT LINGERS, A LOVE FOR THE WEIRD AND THE OCCULT. just keep an eye on them & see if their true colors shine through!
tw for depression.
FULL NAME: atticus xavier cohen-levy
NICKNAMES: ace, atty
PARENTS: tba.
SIBLINGS: everly cohen-levy ( older sister ), daphne cohen-levy ( younger sister ).
PETS: yellow ball python named bartholomew ( bart for short ), black stray cat named lilith
THE BIG THREE: capricorn sun, sagittarius moon, aquarius rising
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: demisexual, panromantic
OCCUPATION: librarian at turning leaves, writer
LANGUAGES: english ( native ); french and german ( fluent ); spanish, russian and ASL ( studying )
Atticus has always been an awfully quiet and reserved child, had the hardest time making friendships or keeping them and preferred the company of books than most people. The only people he’d open up to were the array of siblings he’d been lucky enough to have grown up with, being the second oldest child of the family, but he mostly stayed locked inside his own brain, whether that’d be to torture himself or create something beautiful. Atty wasn’t a very social person but he found other ways to fill up that void, burying himself into studies of philosophy and literature. Whilst his siblings were out and about, he was back at home, studying and reading and absorbing all the knowledge he could. He also became fluent in French and German out of pure boredom.
His love for the occult and the unknown started as soon as he found said section tucked inside the library, the stories and myths creating a new sort of curiosity inside of a young Atticus and he became fascinated. Quickly, he became a true believer in all things that were considered “weird” or “paranormal” as they mesmerized him and is also an avid conspiracy theorist to this day. He’d often find himself in trouble in his teenage years while trying to find evidence of the things he’d read about but was never disappointed when he couldn’t find anything — as a matter of fact, that only fueled his curiosity even more.
Despite not needing or even wanting to create deep connections with others, Ace still was hugged by a deep sense of loneliness and sadness from time to time. Later on in life when he finally decided to seek for explanations, he’d find that he had clinical depression. It’s almost like his brain couldn’t properly process the good emotions, leaving him only with that sense of emptiness that followed him everywhere he went.
Atticus then took all of that loneliness, all of that pain, and sadness and turned it into something good. He found his solace in the arts, he started to draw, write and even compose. He had begged his mother for a cello and after years of insistence, he was finally gifted one. That only made him even more reclusive, rare were the days that Atticus’ skin would see the sun.
In his adolescence, he was also faced with his questions of sexuality and the fact he was actually demisexual. He liked to be alone but the idea of having someone romantically by his side awoke something in him that he hadn’t thought of before — he wouldn’t mind having a person of any gender by his side but he just didn’t want them like normal people did. It was all too confusing for him as he had grown up with the thought that he was broken because he wasn’t like that. Until he became truly enamored by someone in high school, someone who served as a muse for him for the whole time they were together, and even in later years, and that was the first and only person he’s ever been with. Their relationship lasted for a few years until they eventually decided to part ways in their twenties. Atticus would be lying if he said he still doesn’t think about them.
His adult years were as confusing as his teenage years but Atticus had become more aware of the person he was, accepting himself as the weirdo he inevitably became. Keeping his love for the arts, continuing to compose and write poetry, studying new languages and learning new instruments. He’s still working on his drawings, his website is filled with artworks up for sale, and has finally started to work on a novel of his own. Currently, he works as a librarian at the Turning Leaves after earning his bachelor’s degree in English. He’s the sole occupant of his small, cozy home in Sunnyvale Commons but has two pets to keep him company when he’s up until four in the morning working on a new piece. He can also be easily found at the The Cozy Nook; drinking unhealthy amounts of coffee while working, at Suzie’s Antiques; collecting vintage items, or at the woods somewhere; in the evenings, trying to connect with the nature and the supernatural beings that might live in the area.

Assorted tkam headcanons
Atticus-
Libra; born September 30th 1885
Full name is Atticus James Finch
Autistic (i could make an entire post about this)
bisexual
gives great hugs
Writes calligraphy! all of the kids birthday cards and other cards are handwritten from him
Has attempted to cook, but almost burnt the house down so Cal doesn't allow him in the kitchen anymore. for being as smart as he is, he is awful in the kitchen
Is very in control of his emotions, but when he does get emotional, his emotions are very big
he copes with negative emotions by reading or listening to the radio
He usually only listens to the news on the radio, but sometimes he enjoys listening to music
really likes swing music
Cracks his knuckles a lot
Not very religious, goes to church every sunday but as he got older began to question religion more. When he was younger he was very religious because his family was religious
Always had plans to get a dog with his wife, but because of having two kids and then Miss Grahams death, it never happened. He still thinks about getting a dog after both of the kids are out of the house
Wakes up at 5 am everyday without fail, then spends the first few hours of his morning reading before he gets ready for the day
Scout-
Aries; born April 12th 1927
Autistic
If she knew what being trans was, would identify as transmasc
but considering she lives in Alabama in the 1930s, she likely has never and will never hear the term transgender or know its meaning
Accident prone- often comes to Cal with little cuts and scrapes. Cal always tells her to be more careful but takes care of her injuries no matter what
Keeps a journal, though she didn't take it very seriously until she was a teen and then would make sure she journals daily
Hates Halloween after the incident. the year after the incident she stays inside for the entire evening of Halloween and snuggles with Atticus
Very artsy. Loves writing and drawing and fills her journal with little doodles relating to her day
Jem-
Taurus; born May 14th, 1923
Almost always angry about something
Just an angry little guy
Needs glasses but doesn't get them until he's around 18
Absolutely adores Scout, more than he will ever admit, but he'd do anything for her (usually. they still bicker a lot)
After Halloween, the first thing he said when he woke up in the morning was "is Scout okay?"
Jem used to love Halloween, but is cautious of it after the incident. it takes him a few years to enjoy the holiday again
Takes after Atticus in his love for reading. as he gets older, Atticus lets him barrow books with increasingly mature themes and they'd bond by discussing them
Ends up playing football in highschool but gets injured. he plays all throughout highschool despite his injury, but once he's in college he stops playing and decides he prefers watching the sport instead
Keeps the things him and Scout found in the knothole for his entire life
Maudie-
Gemini; June 19th, 1891
Lesbian
No one knows except for Atticus and her late husband
Her husband was a gay man and they married mainly for protection
despite not loving each other romantically, they were incredibly close friends and Maudie mourned the loss of him for a long time
She sees Scout and Jem and even Dill as children
She was friends with Nathan Radley when they were younger, but once Nathan moved to Pensacola they lost contact, and even when he returned they just never reconnected
Boo/Arthur-
Virgo; September 12th, 1897
Autistic
Always stimming in some way, most common stim in scrunching up his face or full body twitches
Scrapbooks and uses his scrapbook as a journal of sorts
Not very close with Nathan and often avoids him as well as he can, considering they're both in the house pretty often
Funny enough, Boo was a nickname arthur was given as a teen by his friends
He was never really a bad kid. He was just an autistic kid who struggled to make connections and when he met his friend group, they'd goad him into stupid things and he'd do them because he'd never had friends like that before
The incident where he stabbed his father did happen, but he did it not out of nowhere, but because Mr Radley was drunk and acting aggressive and it scared and frustrated Arthur so he stabbed him
