The confession had just sort of... stumbled out of Joshua. A heavy flush stained his cheeks moment after and he tried to play it off like it was just a joke - having Aerith giggle hadn't helped much either - but he could ignore the slightly-bruised ego he felt in the moment. It would pass, and he wouldn't be surprised if this was just taken as another moment of Joshua being a little -- odd!! and nothing more.

"Oh?" The flush that had stained his cheeks was still fairly prominent, but Joshua did his best to act as calm and collected as he wished he was. Most of that attempt seemed to unravel as Aerith leaned in close, stretching to the tips of her toes to whisper up against his ear.

A shiver ran down his spine as Joshua cleared his throat. Well. Might as well call this bluff. He grinned, lips stretching in a crooked smile. "Sure. I'm game to see what you have in mind for fun."
